Abstract (sommario):

This paper aims to present new evidence and findings that enhance and enrich the knowledge of the preferences and uses of the remote laboratories from the students´ viewpoint. Specifically, the study aims to recognize the students’ preferences in selecting the remote lab as a learning resource, beyond the uses promoted by the professorship. Likewise, we seek to know the reasons given by students that support those preferences. The research was conducted at Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Ingeniería y Agrimensura (FCEIA), Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR), Argentina, by using the “FCEIA-UNR Electronics Physics Remote Lab” and involving almost 300 students in the second year of Electronic Engineering. The lab is integrated into the Learning Management System (LMS) e-ducativa, Facebook and Twitter, allowing the students to log in without additional authentication, both from the virtual classroom or from those social networks. We collected empirical evidence from both, users' opinions and productions, and also, from registers of the remote lab itself, involving more than 4000 successful tests completed on the lab´s database. We achieved both qualitative and quantitative data that allow us to get a comprehensive study from the students’ perspective.

Abstract (sommario):

During the pandemic, when people needed to physically distance, social media platforms have been one of the outlets where people expressed their opinions, thoughts, sentiments, and emotions regarding the pandemic situation. The core object of this research study is the sentiment analysis of peoples’ opinions expressed on Facebook regarding the current pandemic situation in low-resource languages. To do this, we have created a large-scale dataset comprising of 10,742 manually classified comments in the Albanian language. Furthermore, in this paper we report our efforts on the design and development of a sentiment analyser that relies on deep learning. As a result, we report the experimental findings obtained from our proposed sentiment analyser using various classifier models with static and contextualized word embeddings, that is, fastText and BERT, trained and validated on our collected and curated dataset. Specifically, the findings reveal that combining the BiLSTM with an attention mechanism achieved the highest performance on our sentiment analysis task, with an F1 score of 72.09%.

The article substantiates the source value of electronic information archival resources for the development of the Ukrainian studies; reveals Ukrainian studies context of concepts “electronic source” and “information electronic resource”; tracks transformation of traditional Ukrainian studies as an integrated knowledge system and academic discipline into electronic format. It provides systematized information about information and reference apparatus, web portals, websites of the State Archival Service, central, industry and local archives, their electronic guidebooks, pointers, card-indexes; shows their role in methods of search and detection of documents of Ukrainian studies character.The article considers problems and characterizes meaningful contents of electronic information resources of central historical archives in Kyiv and Lviv, their importance for the study of ancient history of Ukraine, its princely and cossack hetman times, era of national and cultural revival, revolutions and wars. It highlights the central state electronic archives, archives of higher authorities and management, public associations, film and photo archives named after H. Pshenychnyi, archive-museum of literature and art, archives of Kyiv and regions from an angle of possible involvement of their documentary resources into the study of the key concenters of Ukrainian studies: Ukraine-ethnos, Ukraine-nature (ecology), Ukraine-language, Ukraine-nation, Ukraine-state, Ukraine-figures, Ukraine-culture, Ukraine-spirituality, Ukraine-mentality. It is emphasized that to figure out the concenter Ukraine-world, ultimately important are digitized personal funds of Ukrainian emigration activists, Ukrainian State Center and the UPR government in exile, collection of political documents, public and cultural associations in the diaspora stored in the Central State Archives of Foreign Ukrainian Studies. In view of the fact that the problems of historical memory, dramatic pages of the Ukrainian history related to mass repressions, famines, “shot revival”, terror of the communist regime, the Ukrainian resistance movement, the Sixties and dissidents, nationalist underground, activities of the OUN and the UPA take a significant place in the Ukrainian studies domain, documentary evidence, which was saved in paper, audiovisual and electronic formats in the sectoral state archives of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, etc., gain more and more attention. The research distinguishes place and role in the structure of the Ukrainian studies source base of electronic information resources of social networks, Internet communities, including Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Viber, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Messenger etc., which are global, dynamic and general in nature. It expresses a warning about the need for critical attitude towards information, gained from social networks, because they are often used for disinformation through fake posts, manipulation of consciousness, for compromising public figures, which was especially manifested in the context of Russia’s occupation-hybrid warfare against Ukraine, powerful information aggression, "war of stories", imposition of the “Russian World” paradigm.The conclusion substantiates that the formation of electronic Ukrainian studies, further involvement in the source database of electronic information resources facilitate the improvement of their role as a system of scientific knowledge and academic discipline.

Relevance and purpose of the article. In response to information and globalization processes in the modern world, to the occupation-genocide war of Russia against Ukraine reconstruction and transformation of sciences is ongoing, including Ukrainian historiography in electronic form, which is accompanied by an update of methodological, cognitive-scientific, educational, ideological and educational functions, enrichment of the source base at the expense of electronic information resources, expansion of the issues of scientific research studies, transfer of research results into digital form, and hence the new format of their presentations and introduction into social practices. The research methodology is based on taking into account the assets of predecessors, systematic adherence to the principles of historicism, continuity, anthropological, sociocultural and critical-analytical approaches, the involvement of methods of historiographical analysis and synthesis, comparative studies, methods of historical-chronological, historical-genetic knowledge and personal reflections. Presentation of the material built in four blocks: a) methodological and terminological foundations of the formation of electronic historiography; b) formation of historiographical sources in digital format and involvement of their information resources; c) creation of electronic historiographical texts; d) traditional and public historiography in the digital information space. Systematized information about the format and content of electronic web portals and websites of academic historical institutions, historical faculties and departments of national universities, creation of electronic texts based on the involvement of sources and literature on electronic carrier, formation of public history in digital format. Highlighted the value of electronic information resources of libraries, archives, museums for the development of historiography, the historiographical context of the concepts «electronic source» and «informational electronic resource» is clarified. Separated place and role in the structure of the source base historiography of electronic information resources of social networks, Internet communities, bloggers, in particular Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Viber, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Messenger etc. Expressed a warning about the need to be critical of information, drawn from social networks, checking their authenticity, comparison with other sources, specified, th at they are often used for disinformation and manipulation of consciousness through fake posts, for compromising historians, which was especially evident in the conditions of the current war and Russia's informational aggression against Ukraine, the «war of histories», the imposition of the paradigm of «one nation» and «Russian peace». Conclusions and suggestions. Formation of electronic Ukrainian historiography, involvement in scientific studies of sources on digital media, the creation of electronic texts is intended to contribute to the new quality of research work, formation of a new generation of scientists as a response to the challenges of the digital revolution, globalization of the modern world, the information explosion and Russia's war against Ukraine. It is important to continue further research into the problems of the formation and development of digital historiography, updating the methodology, increasingly wider involvement of electronic information resources and increasing on this basis its role as a system of scientific knowledge and educational discipline on the development of historical science.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine how banks’ level of corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagement influences consumers’ electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on Facebook. Furthermore, this study examines the mediating role of consumer identification with a company (C-C identification) in the relationship between CSR engagement and eWOM in online communications. Design/methodology/approach Indian banks have been taken as a study context. The data were collected online from July to August 2018, resulting in 239 valid surveys. Data were analysed using structural equation modelling via AMOS 22.0. Findings The findings in the present study suggest that CSR communication on social networking sites engages consumers and also helps them to identify with the companies and increase their eWOM intentions. Based on this finding, the authors suggest that managers should communicate about CSR engagement on social media to favourably influence identification and eWOM. Practical implications The result highlights the opportunities brought by new technology such as online social media to the service industry. Originality/value The present study contributes to the literature by enriching the understanding of how CSR engagement influences eWOM on social media. Of theoretical concern, this study connects the social identity perspective to CSR in the online context, something not previously explored.

Background: E-learning refers to the use of Internet technologies to deliver a broad range of solutions that enhance knowledge and per-formance of learners. This mode of learning can be used by institutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of educational inter-ventions in the face of the social, scientific, and pedagogical challenges. Worldwide, it has gained popularity in the past few decades; however, its use is highly variable among the medical schools of Pakistan. Currently, a very few number of institutions have adopted it officially in their curriculum. Despite this, many students use different E Learning resources to enhance their learning.Objective: To find out about the online resources utilized by the medical students in addition to their traditional medical curriculum to enhance their learning.Method: In this cross-sectional study, 300 participants from Dow Medical College and Jinnah Sindh Medical Universities were included after taking informed consent. A self-administered questionnaire which consists of demographic information, years of study and online resources with their usage details by the students for different subjects of basic and clinical sciences were documented.Results: Almost all the students reported to use some form of eLearning to enhance their medical understanding. The most frequently used electronic resources were Google images (61.7%) and Wikipedia (50.3%). Mostly, the students used YouTube (25.7%) for animations; Kaplan (27%) and Dr. Najeeb (15.6%) for video lectures. However, Audio lecture by Goljan (17.7%) was the only resource for podcast learning. Among discussion forums, Facebook groups (16.3%) were most popular and among static websites, Medscape (4.3%), PubMed (2.5%), WebMD (1.3%) were the most commonly used ones.Conclusion: All of the medical students used some form of eLearning in medical education in addition to their formal curriculum. This way of learning should be further implemented in the form of formal curriculum as e-learning modules for basic and clinical sciences to make learning easier, engaging and innovative for the 21st century learners.

The main purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the pandemic on online shopping in the case of Kosovo. Cunningham (2019) states that online shopping is an e-commerce activity that involves buying items on a seller’s website through a credit or debit card and delivering the item to your home with online shopping, customers buy items from anywhere in the world through a digital platform. The data used are primary, collected through the online questionnaire and it was distributed using social media Facebook, Instagram, and Gmail to a random sample of 500 respondents from Kosovo. We have concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a positive impact on online shopping because, based on the results we have obtained, online shopping has increased during this period. Online shopping clearly shows that consumers’ attitudes and behaviors have changed rapidly, but the pandemic had not increased their confidence in online shopping. This is especially true for developed countries, where every store has its website from which to buy, and India seems to have adopted this trend very fast compared to Pakistan (Bashir, Mehboob, & Bhatti, 2015). The most demanded products besides food, and hygiene, there was a great demand for clothing, electronic and technological equipment, books, and others. Regardless of how many advantages we can have from online shopping, traditional shopping is still what Kosovar consumers prefer to practice. The paper also suggests some recommendations regarding online shopping in Kosovo

Purpose: To analyze and categorize the scientific production in the field of digital marketing in small and medium enterprises.Design/methodology/approach: We retrieved the bibliographic information of 294 publications in this field indexed in Scopus and employed technology-mining techniques and cluster analysis of keywords to gain insight into the most relevant trends in this research area. We conducted a keyword cleaning process to remove ambiguity, synonyms, and obvious results and employed our own Python scripts and the Bibliometrix package in the R programming language for the calculations.Findings: Our results paint a broad picture of this research area, highlighting its most important journals, countries, researchers, and keywords, as well as their interactions. We also identified and explained five thematic clusters: electronic commerce, social media, specific social media, internationalization, and brand. We found that social media, big data, search engine optimization, advertisement, internationalization, websites, and Facebook are hot research topics in this field. Originality/value: This study offers updated information on the trends of the scientific production in said research field, covering a time window that goes up to the year 2021. This is beyond any traditional bibliometric analysis, and it reveals the structure of the knowledge in the field. This paper can be used as a reference point to define a future research agenda in this area.

Online marketing is a method of marketing using online (OL) and electronic media. This study aims to, (1) Assess the effectiveness of (OL) marketing in increasing corporate income, (2) Describe products that have OL marketing potential, ( 3) Identify influential factors in developing OL marketing strategies, and (4) Providing recommendations for alternative OL marketing strategies to be applied in MSMEs. This research was conducted on 10 MSMEs in Cibinong Sub-district, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, from April to August 2018. The method of analysis consists of descriptive analysis, content analysis, Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the analysis of research data it is known that OL marketing successfully increases income for respondents by 10% to 32%. The results of content analysis found that the respondents' MSMEs already knew the importance of attracting product visualization by displaying descriptions and images that could invite consumers to buy, but not fully optimized yet through the Google Review Knowledge Panel facility. Based on the SWOT analysis, strategies were obtained: (a) Business Development with support of available Human Resource (HR) & Marketing Media Support, (b) Business Development System (OL), (c) Business Scale Up by Utilizing Capital, (d) Skill Improvement and OL System Knowledge, (e) Increased Business Capital and Product Promotion Display in order increasing turnover,( f) Business Development through Product Variants, Taste and Promotions (g) Increasing business capacity and services (Delivery), (h) Increasing cooperation in OL product promotion, (i) Increasing innovation and new product variants. The alternative method of OL marketing of food MSMEs in Cibinong Sub district chosen based on AHP respectively is Grab-food media. The second priority is to use social media (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube etc.). The third priority is to use Google SEO media. The fourth priority is to use a website and the fifth priority is direct contact.

Abstract (sommario):

The article aims to present the implementation of the national census carried out in Poland in 2021 as a process, with particular attention devoted to the challenges that national censuses pose for official statistics. The paper also focuses on how the organiser of the census – Statistics Poland – addressed the problems reported during the survey. The significance of the census results as a source of information was also discussed. The research was based on a case study, which allowed an in-depth analysis of the census process. The results of the analysis show that the problems which occurred in the National Population and Housing Census 2021 were similar to those identified in the previous editions of the survey, such as questions relating to sensitive information and the potential ways in which the answers to this type of queries could be further processed. What is more, maintaining the digital (electronic) form of the census (the paper forms were abandoned in favour of the digital form in 2011) and the introduction of the Internet-based self-enumeration as the primary form of the survey, applicable to all its participants, created additional challenges, related to some respondents’ lack of digital skills or limited access to the Internet. Statistics Poland offered a variety of forms of contact with the society and addressed Internet users’ questions on an ongoing basis, mainly through information campaigns, which included using social media, and by directly responding to Facebook users’ comments. The conducted analysis provides a useful insight as to how reliable data could be collected in a census, particularly with the use of the Internet.

The purpose of this study was to gather, analyze, and elaborate big data on Facebook’s essential information, with a specific focus on the information obtained from Korean-popular (K-Pop) fan pages on the social networking site. For this analysis, a total of 3,531,736 comments by Korean-pop fans were gathered from various K-pop Facebook pages. In order to interpret how 11 extremely popular Facebook pages shape Thai fans’ enthusiasm for the South Korean music industry, descriptive statistics and visualization analysis were employed. Finally, data analytics and correlation analysis were used to evaluate the essential understanding of the Facebook pages. The research revealed three key findings: i) K-pop fan pages provide more opportunities for Thai fans to express their support for K-pop artists and advocate for causes, ii) K-pop fan pages provide more opportunities for Thai fans to communicate with K-pop artists, and iii) K-pop fan pages build opportunities for Thai fans to establish a more glamorous online presence despite limitations concerning financial resources, foreign language skills, and opportunities. In the future, the research outcomes may be valuable for academic studies and practice.

A research of websites of scientific libraries of classical universities of Ukraine was conducted. The purpose of the study is to determine the information resources that libraries provide to their users in quarantine and martial law conditions. The study made it possible to determine the list of information resources presented on library websites: electronic catalog, electronic archive of scientific works of university employees (institutional repository), full-text databases and resources available on open platforms, own full-text collections, page on the Facebook social network, page on the social network Instagram, page on the social network Twitter, Telegram channel, YouTube channel, new arrivals, virtual exhibitions, virtual tours, digests, book trailers, audio books, longreads. A comparative analysis of the information resources of the libraries of classical universities of Ukraine was carried out, which made it possible to determine the leader library in providing the largest list of information resources. It turned out to be the library of Sumy State University.

Введение. Описаны современные электронные ресурсы как инструменты для топонимических исследований. До недавних пор использование геоинформационных систем (ГИС) в исследованиях географических названий нельзя было назвать масштабным. С развитием современных информационных технологий топонимические исследования приобрели новый характер, отличающийся новейшими подходами к сбору и обработке геоданных. Цель статьи – выявить, проанализировать и описать современные электронные средства для сбора и изучения топонимов с целью дальнейшего использования подобных ресурсов в разного рода исследованиях. Материал и методы. Наборы топонимов стали центральным компонентом систем GPS-навигации и онлайн-карт, которые сегодня широко используются в научных исследованиях. Массовая информатизация, развитие высокоскоростного интернета, доступность приобретения и использования портативных компьютеров и мобильных устройств, повышение компьютерной грамотности населения охватывают большинство стран мира, что отражается на качественно новых подходах к изучению топонимической лексики. Результаты и обсуждение. Революция цифрового картографирования и мобильных приложений позволяет простым гражданам вносить свой вклад в обработку топонимического материала в режиме онлайн. С появлением электронных систем Google Maps, Apple Maps, Яндекс.Карты, Bing Maps и им подобных топонимические исследования приобрели новый характер. Изыскания на уровне микротопонимии стали четче и подробнее. Наглядно показано, как можно использовать онлайн-топонимические словари, электронные карты, наукометрические базы данных, географическую базу данных GeoNames и Google-переводчик для проведения топонимических исследований. Указываются преимущества и недостатки современных сайтов и программ, ориентированных на исследования в области топонимики. Делаются выводы о целесообразности привлечения технических средств к топонимическим исследованиям в целом. Научные онлайн-дискуссии на таких площадках, как ResearchGate и Facebook, приводят к реальному взаимодействию ученых и помогают сделать научную мысль глубже, четче и ярче. Заключение. Принимая во внимание всевозможные погрешности вследствие применения современных описанных технологий, считаем необходимым контроль в виде сверки данных, например по этимологии географических имен и т. п. Упомянутые инструменты позиционируются как чрезвычайно полезные для выявления, описания, изучения, комплексного анализа и систематизации топонимического материала. Introduction. The article is devoted to the description of modern electronic resources as tools for toponymic research. Until recently, the use of GIS in geographical name research could not be called widespread. With the development of modern information technologies, toponymic research has acquired new features, characterized by new approaches to the collection and processing of geodata. The purpose of the article is to identify, analyze and describe modern electronic means for collecting and studying toponyms in order to further use such resources in various kinds of research. Material and methods. Toponymic sets have become a central component of GPS navigation systems and online maps, which are now widely used in scientific research. Mass informatization, the development of high-speed Internet, the accessibility of the acquisition and use of laptop computers and mobile devices, and improved computer literacy of the population cover most countries of the world, which is reflected in qualitatively new approaches to studying toponymic vocabulary. Results and discussion. The revolution of digital mapping and mobile applications allows ordinary citizens to contribute to the processing of toponymic material online. With the advent of electronic systems Google Maps, Apple Maps, Yandex.Maps, Bing Maps and the like, toponymic studies have acquired a new character. Any inquiry at the level of microtoponymy has become clearer and more detailed. The author explains the progress in the development of GIS systems, demonstrates how one can use tools such as online toponymic dictionaries, electronic maps, scientometric databases, the GeoNames geographic database and Google translator for conducting toponymic research. The advantages and disadvantages of modern sites and programs focused on research in the field of toponymy are indicated. Conclusions are drawn on the feasibility of attracting technical means to toponymic research in general. The author shows that online scientific discussions on platforms such as ResearchGate and Facebook lead to real interaction between scientists and help to make scientific thought deeper, clearer and brighter. Conclusion. Taking into account all kinds of errors due to the application of the modern technologies described, the author considers it necessary in some places to control in the form of reconciliation of data, for example, on the etymology of geographical names, etc. In general, the tools mentioned in the article are positioned as extremely useful for identifying, describing, studying, comprehensive analysis and systematization of toponymic material.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the transformation of information resources of public libraries of Ukraine in modern conditions. The methodological basis of the article was based on systemic, information-service and modernist approaches and the application of the principles of objectivity and comprehensiveness of knowledge. The organic combination of structural-functional analysis, synthesis, and cognitive methods made it possible to successfully realize the set goal. The scientific novelty consists in considering the main aspects of the formation of electronic information resources against the background of the aggression of the Russian Federation against the sovereign state of Ukraine, starting in 2014, arguing that public libraries actively participated in the information processes of creating a regional source base on events that take place in modern history of our state. The existing ones are analyzed and the author's understanding of the term "electronic library and information resources" is proposed. Conclusions. Digitization stimulates the general trend of transformation of public libraries of Ukraine into hubs for comprehensive processing of all types of information on all media. The use of new media in library practice contributes to the production of relevant electronic information resources, which marks the third stage of the use of information and communication technologies in the work of libraries. The public libraries of Ukraine currently have the following types of electronic information resources: a) electronic catalogs; b) full-text databases; c) electronic collections of text analogues of printed publications; d) collections of digitized publications; e) electronic documents that do not have printed counterparts; f) electronic publications of audio and video information; g) multimedia products. Electronic information resources enrich the assortment and include the following audiovisual products: audio recordings, films, videos, slides, presentations, etc., including exhibitions and tours of the library, advertising of new arrivals, online meetings with famous people or solutions to current community issues, etc. Own accounts in social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram), messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber), video hosting (YouTube), on the one hand, have a significant potential for popularizing the library, on the other hand, are a platform for approving the demand for created electronic information resources.

The relevance of the article lies in conducting a comparative analysis of electronic information resources provided during quarantine restrictions and martial law by the libraries of higher education institutions of Ukraine, which were determined by the leaders, based on the results of previous stages of the research. The purpose of the study is to determine the library of the university of Ukraine, which is leader in the provision of electronic information resources in the conditions of quarantine and martial law. The methodology. The research includes synthesis, the method of complexity, comparative analysis, information diagnostics, generalization, abstraction and systematization, survey-analytical and benchmarking methods. The results of the previous stages of the research proved that the library of Sumy State University occupies the first place among the scientific libraries of classical universities of Ukraine. Among the scientific libraries of technical institutions of higher education are the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The leader among scientific libraries conventionally called special institutions of higher education of Ukraine is the library of Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University. The library of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University ranks first among the libraries of pedagogical institutions of higher education in Ukraine. The practical significance. The identification of a leading library will allow other libraries of higher education institutions to adopt the experience of implementing various electronic information resources. The scientific novelty. The previous stages of the study of electronic information resources of libraries of higher education institutions of Ukraine allowed us to determine the leading libraries in providing users with access to a wide range of electronic information resources during quarantine restrictions and martial law. The conclusions. The research made it possible to identify the library of Sumy State University as a leading library that provides users with access to the largest set of electronic information resources, which includes: electronic catalogue, electronic archive of scientific works of university employees, full-text databases and resources available on open platforms, the own full-text collections, Facebook page, Instagram page, Telegram channel, Youtube channel, new arrivals, digests, audiobooks.

e18769 Background: Because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, many cancers are diagnosed at later stages, resulting in renewed emphasis on preventive medicine. To this end, we explored barriers and facilitators of breast cancer screening in Ukraine. Methods: A survey exploring factors that may influence breast cancer screening was distributed through the Primary Care Physician Facebook group in Ukraine. Chi-Squared and Student’s t-tests tested association between discrete and continuous variables, respectively. Linear and logistic regression were used to test independent association. Results: 150 surveys were completed. Respondents’ mean age was 36.6 years (SD 11.6); 127 (84%) were female. 124 (83%) worked in public primary care clinics. Respondents were from 25 (92%) of 27 regions of Ukraine. 110 (73%) were familiar with Ministry of Health (MOH) Order 504 guidelines for breast cancer screening. 103 (64%) had a clinical breast exam (CBE) and 34 (21%) a screening mammography. Breast cancer screening was done via mammography by 134 (84%), via CBE by 93 (58%), and via CBE referral by 86 (57%). Fifty-six (36%) referred 1-3 patients per month to mammography, 46 (30%) referred 4-10, 25 (16%) 11-20. CBE screening was done for 1-10 patients per month by 86 (56%), 11-20 patients by 27 (18%), and 21-40 by 18 (12%). Factors independently associated with patient number having CBE screening per month included daily patient volume, having had a CBE, mammography availability; awareness of MOH 504 and patient pathways, and United States/Europe screening recommendations (latter three p < 0.1). In addition to the above, factors independently associated with performing CBE screening also included participation in seminars about breast cancer screening and comfort with performing a CBE. Factors independently associated with number of patients referred to mammography per month included daily patient volume, having undergone a mammography, and mammography availability. In addition to the above, factors independently associated with mammography referral also included awareness of MOH 504 and patient family history. (All p < 0.05) Barriers to screening included insufficient knowledge among patients (81, 54%), fear of cancer treatment (71, 47%), lack of money for cancer treatment (50, 33%), insufficient training for primary care physicians (84, 56%), insufficient mammography equipment (39, 26%), and insufficient screening recommendation in primary care (38, 25%). Breast cancer screening could be expanded via collaboration with oncologists (64, 42%), training about breast cancer screening (60, 40%), breast cancer educational materials for patients (56, 37%), and automating screening referrals via electronic health records (50, 33%). Conclusions: Factors associated with breast cancer screening included knowledge, personally undergoing screening, and resource availability. Results are limited by online convenience sampling.

Background In the United States, there are lower rates of breastfeeding among African American mothers, particularly those who are younger women. Recent epidemiological studies have shown a strong association of more aggressive types of breast cancer (estrogen receptor negative) among African American women, with a higher risk in African American women who did not breastfeed their children. Objective This study aims to describe the process evaluation of recruitment and educational strategies to engage pregnant African American participants for a pilot study designed to determine whether social media messaging about breast cancer risk reduction through breastfeeding may positively influence breastfeeding rates. Methods This pilot study is conducted in collaboration with a local Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) organization and hospital and prenatal clinics of a local health care network. To engage African American women to enroll in the study, several methods and monitoring processes were explored, including WIC electronic text-based messages sent out to all phones of current WIC recipients (referred to as e-blasts); keyword responses to texts from flyers and posters in local community-based organizations, hospitals, and prenatal clinics; keyword responses using electronic links posted in established Facebook groups; and snowball recruitment of other pregnant women by current participants through Facebook. Once enrolled, participants were randomized to 2 study conditions: (1) an intervention group receiving messages about breast cancer risk reduction and breastfeeding or (2) a control group receiving breastfeeding-only messages. Data were obtained through electronic monitoring, SurveyMonkey, qualitative responses on Facebook, focus groups, and interviews. Results More than 3000 text messages were sent and received through WIC e-blasts and keyword responses from flyers. A total of 472 women were recruited through WIC e-blast, and 161 responded to flyers and contacts through the local health care network, community-based organizations, Facebook, and friend referrals. A total of 633 women were assessed for eligibility to participate in the study. A total of 288 pregnant African American women were enrolled, consented, and completed presurvey assessments (102.8% of the goal), and 22 participants attended focus groups or interviews reporting on their experiences with Facebook and the educational messages. Conclusions This process evaluation suggests that using electronic, smartphone apps with social media holds promise for both recruitment and conduct of health education intervention studies for pregnant African American women. Providing messaging and resources through social media to reinforce and educate women about breastfeeding and potentially provide lactation support is intriguing. Convenience (for researchers and participants) is an attribute of social media for this demographic of women and worthy of further research as an educational tool. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects that reference prices and associated information sources (websites that consumers use to explore and their friends who have similar perspectives on value) have on deal evaluation and intention to disseminate electronic word of mouth (eWOM). Design/methodology/approach A stratified survey is conducted to empirically test the relations between reference prices, associated information sources (the top five Consumer-to-consumer (C2C) websites and top five Facebook friends with similar perspectives and values on consumption), deal evaluation, and eWOM intention. The study uses a Facebook API to help participants pick five Facebook friends to act as their favorite sources for advice on shopping. Findings The results suggest that consumers’ deal evaluations (as shaped by the recency effects of previous exposure to prices and the influence of Facebook friends and C2C websites) have carry-over effects on their eWOM intentions. The influence of Facebook friends and C2C websites on deal evaluation is as powerful as that of reference price, especially concerning the mean and the lowest prices. Practical implications The findings encourage marketers to invest their resources in targeting online groups, and suggest that C2C website marketers should set their offer prices between the mean and the lowest prices. Originality/value This study extends prior research on the motives for eWOM dissemination and elaborates an approach to initiate eWOM intention through deal evaluation.

The exponential rise of electronic commerce (e-commerce) for PIEDs is a major public issue, for which control protocols are to be deployed.Materials and Methods: It would be a waste of time and resources to track and/or shut down all PIED-promoting websites one by one. Cyberspace is vast; the PIED “product managers” will always adapt to surveillance-control policies over their illegitimate online businesses. A more rational approach would be to track, challenge, and tackle the same resources upon which PIED electronic commerce is based: the infrastructure of the World Wide Web (the Internet).Results: Concerning PIED e-commerce, the main resources are Google and AOL (search engines); YouTube, Wikipedia, and Facebook (social media sites); and Alibaba, Amazon, and eBay (major e-commerce websites).Conclusion: Illegal PIED e-commerce became a major public problem. The major drivers are the Internet search engines, social media sites, and major e-commerce websites. The research method uses a qualitatively descriptive research approach. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, then conclusions. The results showed that the marketing communication strategy in developing educational tourism objects of Paloh Naga Agrotourism uses the concept of marketing communication mix which is a support in increasing the number of visitors to Paloh Naga Agrotourism and is most relied on by managers, namely word-of-mouth and digital marketing or E-WOM (Electronic Word Of Mouth) such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram even to Youtube. Furthermore, there are supporting and inhibiting factors in developing Paloh Naga Agrotourism objects. In this case, supporting factors and inhibiting factors are divided into two, namely, internal and external. Internal supporting factors are natural resources, human resources, financial resources, and strategic location. While the external supporting factor is the enthusiasm and full support of the community with the construction of Paloh Naga Agrotourism. The internal inhibiting factor is the lack of promotion intensity and cooperation. While the external inhibiting factor is the lack of support for print media and electronic media.

Companies and organizations have always found that the views and feedback of the community are their most important and valuable resource. With everyone using social media more and more, it makes it possible to analyze and evaluate things in ways that have never been done before. Before, organizations had to use methods that were unusual, time-consuming, and prone to mistakes. This way of analyzing fits right into the field of "sentiment analysis." Sentiment analysis is a broad field that deals with putting user-generated text into well-defined groups. There are a number of tools and algorithms that can be used to detect and analyze sentiment. For example, supervised machine learning algorithms can be trained with training data and then used to classify the target corpus. Lexical techniques, which use a dictionary-based annotated corpus to do classification, and hybrid tools, which are a mix of machine learning and lexicon-based algorithms, are also used. In this paper, we used Weka's Support Vector Machine (SVM) to analyze how people feel about something. SVM is a popular supervised machine learning algorithm used to find the polarity of text. The main objective is to analyze the emotions expressed in tweets using various simulations of artificial intelligence that classify tweets as positive or negative. If a tweet has both positive and negative components, the more prevalent component should be chosen as the closing statement. Emojis, usernames, and hashtags in tweets should be controlled and transformed into a standard development. Sincerely, these events' planners have started looking into these inconspicuous web blogs (online diaries) to acquire a feel for their niche. On other discreet sites, they routinely monitor and respond to customer feedback. Better means of seeing and combining a broad assessment are one challenge. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine the influence of various sources of negative electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) and negative personal word-of-mouth (pWOM) on trust in the Word-of-mouth (WOM), attitude toward the service provider and purchase intention. Design/methodology/approach – Data were gathered from 336 Moroccan workers who responded to an online survey. Findings – Results show that negative pWOM is more influential than negative eWOM in the form of written Facebook testimonials, written review site testimonials and written testimonials on a corporate website. However, there is a relative ranking of importance among eWOM sources, with review site testimonials found to be more influential than either Facebook or corporate website testimonials. Research limitations/implications – This work responds to a call for research on differences and similarities between pWOM and eWOM. The findings extend understanding of the relative influence of negative pWOM and negative eWOM. Practical implications – The results of this study provide guidance to service marketers in terms of strategies for deflecting negative WOM and allocating service recovery resources. Originality/value – This study is the first to compare the relative influence of negative pWOM and eWOM in service consumption.

We refer to the media theory of Niklas Luhmann to identify specific differences in how communication is organised and reproduced on networking sites. The electronic medium appears to be changing the way participants selectively construct and bind expectations of personhood and communicative ties to themselves and others. Using software available on the Web, users confront each other as digital bodies, as participants in communication, available for friendship within a new “ether of interactivity”.

This article tells about and analyses the informational and scientific potential in the use of the Internet-resources during the process of the researches over the coin circulation of the insurgent Ukraine-Hetman State, they are: electronic auctions and forum «Violity», «New Auction» and «Unc.ua», the electronic encyclopedia «Wikipedia», scientific social web «Academia.edu», social web «Facebook», and also the private «Youtube» channels. Every of the pointed resources and services has its advantages and disadvantages. Using an Internet we could get a new data in the numismatics, by the way identify the new variants of the Muscovy tsar Peter the Great coins excavated on the territory of the Hetman State, put the light on the new finds of the coins evaluated as very rare in the previous Ukrainian science historiography. The article examines two main factors causing modern language disorders in modern Georgian written and spoken language, such as: A. Contradiction between the norms of the modern Georgian literary language and living speech; B. Contradiction in the norms of the modern Georgian literary language itself. We aim to show the contradictory situation caused by these two factors in the resources that should be used to maintain the standard of this or that word form. We mean orthographic dictionaries of the Georgian language, including such a fundamental dictionary as V. Topuria and Iv. Gigineishvili’s “orthographic dictionary of the Georgian language” (1968; 1998), as well as electronic dictionaries and other publications (collections). In the lexical material, the qualitative difference in the standard language resources makes some norms controversial, which contributes to the emergence of language form variants, incorrect forms next to the correct ones, and, moreover, hinders the updating of the norm, and the development of a new linguistic standard. This problem became even more acute when the project of a young specialist, data scientist and programmer Vakhtang Elerdashvili called “Incorrect-Print-Finder” – a morphological checker of errors in the text – appeared on the social network (Facebook). The aim of the project is to create a perfect text analyzer in Georgian. The paper analyzes the relevant material reflecting the contradictory situation in the standard language resources, outlines the ways to solve the problem, concludes that the material in the standard language resources should be united (processed) and a united orthographic database, an extensive orthographic electronic dictionary with the function of constantly updating the norms of the Georgian literary language should be created. საკვანძო სიტყვები: სალიტერატურო ენა, ნორმა, ენობრივი წინააღმდეგობა. Purpose The purpose of this report is to explain the process of how Booth Library developed an online WordPress blog to market physical and electronic resources in the library’s collection. This report looks at specific tools that are used to maintain the blog and sample topics that the blog covers. Design/methodology/approach WordPress software was installed on library servers, making the blog a cohesive part of the library’s website. A PHP script called “List It!” was developed to produce book lists with cover images from a list of scanned library barcodes. After the book lists are inserted into blog posts, social media tools such as YOURLS and Hootsuite are used to schedule tweets and Facebook posts. Findings Since its launch in September 2014, Ref News has received a total of 6,180 views and 3,835 unique views for 88 posts. On average, users are spending two minutes and 44 seconds on a page or group of pages. Less measurable benefits include greatly expanded website content, booklists that can be reused and repurposed and a sense of ownership and increased morale for those who help curate book displays and write blog posts. Originality/value This report shows how a free WordPress blog can be used as a versatile and collaborative tool to market library resources and connect with users.

The content and main directions of PR activities of Muslim religious organizations in Ukraine were analyzed. It was determined that the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Umma", the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea carry out such activities most systematically, which is characterized by the use of many resources and modern media technologies, although there is a lack of systematicity. Their PR activity is multi-channel: through print and electronic media, as well as radio and television, although Internet resources, including social networks, prevail. Muslim religious organizations both create their own media content and translate global media. A universal model of PR activities of Muslim organizations is the posting of general information on the basics of Islamic belief and features of religious practice, as well as digitized thematic literature, on electronic resources. Muslim religious organizations in their PR activities also use streaming technologies, i.e. continuous broadcasting of events in real time, mainly to cover charitable, cultural and educational PR actions conducted by the organization. Facebook, Instagram and Telegram are the main social media channels used by Muslim organizations for PR activities, where content is regularly posted on the pages of communities and spiritual leaders. An important direction of the PR activities of Muslim organizations in Ukraine is the coverage of their leadership's participation in state events, as well as the adoption of declarations of their interaction with the authorities and the public. The signing of the Charter of Muslims of Ukraine and the Social Concept of Muslims of Ukraine became significant. The components of PR activities of Muslim organizations are cultural (as patronage and as intercultural mass communication), charity, work with children and youth.

The text presents the digital activities of the New Bulgarian University (NBU) Center for the Book during the time of pandemic, declared state of emergency and the closure of the university. The publication covers the work of the Publishing House, the Library, the University Archives and the Readers’ Club. In the period of isolation, the NBU Publishing House published new books in various fields and presented them via Facebook due to the impossibility to hold live meetings in the bookstore of the Center. During this period, the NBU Library (which is a combination of traditional and electronic resources and services) supported online learning through remote services. The University Archive presented virtually the personal archives of Prof. Milcho Leviev and Prof. Miroslav Yanakiev. The NBU Readers’ Club maintained its interest in reading by publishing video reviews of books selected before the pandemic, as Arthur Haley’s Airport, Svetlana Aleksievich’s Chernobyl Prayer, and Olga Tokarchuk’s Flights.

This study addresses the public adoption of and satisfaction with UAE government e-services, emphasizing the quality of digital platforms, mainly smart applications. This quantitative research uses the technology acceptance, e-service quality, and web trust models. An online survey designed via Survey Monkey was distributed to Emirati citizens in Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi municipalities via government Facebook and Instagram accounts in December 2022. The sample included the Ministries of Human Resources, Education, Interior, and Foreign Affairs, which provide daily individual and commercial services to citizens through digital applications. Three hundred respondents completed the form. The findings revealed that participants appreciate and trust the electronic services provided via smart applications, particularly their ease of use and quality of information. Factors motivating their use include information disclosure strategy and interactivity. The UAE's increasing use of smart digital applications necessitates training, user-friendly designs, and integration with rather than replacement of traditional direct methods.

The range of naturalistic observations of personality in online environments has been expanded with new communication technologies. That made it possible to capture a large volume of digital footprints (Big Data). This research aimed to carry out a systematic literature review of national and international scientific articles that used digital footprints to observe personality in the period from 2011 to 2020. The articles were accessed in the electronic databases PsycINFO, SciELO, Scopus (Elsevier), and PePSIC. In total, 25 articles were found, the most used social networks to obtain digital traces were Facebook and Twitter. It has also been found that personality assessment using digital footprints has been used for different purposes, such as developing product recommendation systems and automatic cyberbullying detection systems. The importance of Brazilian researchers to acquire the technical resources necessary to conduct empirical research on personality and big data is discussed, considering that only one of the articles found was published by Brazilian researchers.Keywords: Personality, digital footprints, social networks, observation methods, Big Data

The article deals with the problem of the use of ICT means for the formation of professional competences of future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature. The relevance of using e-learning resources in the system of vocational education of students-philologists is investigated. The essence of the concept of "professional competence of the teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature" is specified. The state of the use of ICT in the professional teaching of bachelors and masters of Ukrainian philology based on the analysis of the works of scientists, the synthesis of educational and methodical ideas, the generalization of their own pedagogical experience, questioning of students is determined; the experience of effective work of students of philology with ICT means in the context of vocational education is considered. The analysis of the use of e-learning tools for the mastery of Ukrainian philology by future teachers-speakers is carried out. The results of the survey and questioning of students-philologists concerning the activity and efficiency of using ICT tools in the professional training are described. It is empirically confirmed that the integration of ICT means into the traditional methodology of teaching the professional disciplines to future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature makes it possible to improve the attitude of students towards vocational education. It is provided that the blog of the Ukrainian Language Cultural Center at Kyiv Borys Hrinchenko University is a significant educational potential for the professional training of students of philology since it is an important modern tool for maintaining new ways of teaching the language and it contains accessible electronic resources that are useful for the professional growth of future language teachers and affects educational activity of students positively. This article focuses on the educational potential of the Facebook community of the mentioned Center which brings professional education closer to the student, helps him to study, communicates in the Internet, and acquires the ability to continuous education despite the distance between the members of this Facebook community. It is generalized that active activities in the environment of the Facebook community of the Center develops the skills of critical thinking, communication in the virtual space, emotional intelligence, ability to process and structure significant information of the Ukrainian-speaking direction. The prospects of research on the use of ICT means for the professional training of the teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature have been determined.

The article, based on the analysis of scientists’ works, specifies the terms and concepts that are in scientific circulation to denote the informational component of the educational environment in Higher Medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational Establishments in Ukraine (‘hybrid cloud-oriented educational environment’, ‘educational and information environment,’ ‘computer-mediated educational (educational) environment,’ ‘informational and educational (or purely educational) environment,’ ‘information environment,’ etc.). It has been found that while studying the pedagogical aspects of teaching the standardization of pharmaceuticals of future masters of pharmacy in Higher Medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational Establishments, it is advisable to apply the concept of ‘educational and informational environment’ with an emphasis on the primary educational function of this process. The study provides the author’s approach to the interpretation of the concept of the ‘educational and informational environment of Higher Medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational Establishment’ seen as a complex of interconnected conditions for the implementation of a safe and effective educational process, which involves dynamic and purposeful educational interaction of its participants based on the use of information and communication technologies and computers computer-mediated training tools to form integral, general and professional competences in future specialists in the field of health care. Based on the data drawn from the online interviews of full-time and part-time students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Bogomolets National Medical University (a total of 146 people), it was substantiated that the educational opportunities ensured by the use of the educational and informational environment of Higher Medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational Establishment for training the future masters of pharmacy in standardization of pharmaceuticals will be most effectively used under the condition of combining information obtained through the electronic resources and services, in particular, the Moodle platform; electronic training course on the discipline; environments for performing practical tasks; social networks illustrated by the use of the university department’s Facebook page as the example, Google Meet service, etc.

Over the past decade, electronic applications, particularly social networking applications (SNAs), have been gaining considerable popularity, including among educated young people. The advantages of SNAs are apparent in many sectors, with education being no exception. SNAs are also playing the main role in enhancing the quality of education. The aim of this paper is to explore SNAs use (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube) in higher education students enrolled at Albaha University, Saudi Arabia, focusing on their associated advantages, barriers, and reasons for adoption, as well as differences between the participants with respect to the study variables. The research methodology was a survey approach and the sample size reached 243 students, including 123 males and 120 females. The survey was distributed to students electronically. The results indicate that most students benefit from SNAs, and these resources motivate them to engage with SNAs to enhance their education. Barriers were also identified that must be addressed for effective education. No difference was found between male and female students in terms of benefiting from SNAs, as well as the reasons and barriers, thereby indicating the availability of SNAs for both genders and the flexibility of their use at any time and place, as well as awareness in both genders about their use. A noticeable difference was identified in the extent of the benefits derived from SNAs between participants older and younger than 20 years, and differences were also found in the reasons underpinning these benefits. This reflects a disparity in the use and mastery of SNAs between the two age groups. Students aged 20-25 years also encountered greater barriers to SNAs use compared to students aged younger than 20 years, which may be attributed to the lower familiarity of older students with SNAs.

Automatic text summarization has gained immense popularity in research. Previously, several methods have been explored for obtaining effective text summarization outcomes. However, most of the work pertains to the most popular languages spoken in the world. Through this paper, we explore the area of extractive automatic text summarization using deep learning approach and apply it to Konkani language, which is a low-resource language as there are limited resources, such as data, tools, speakers and/or experts in Konkani. In the proposed technique, Facebook’s fastText pre-trained word embeddings are used to get a vector representation for sentences. Thereafter, deep multi-layer perceptron technique is employed, as a supervised binary classification task for auto-generating summaries using the feature vectors. Using pre-trained fastText word embeddings eliminated the requirement of a large training set and reduced training time. The system generated summaries were evaluated against the ‘gold-standard’ human generated summaries with recall-oriented understudy for gisting evaluation (ROUGE) toolkit. The results thus obtained showed that performance of the proposed system matched closely to the performance of the human annotators in generating summaries.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the effectiveness of communication in online learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: This writing uses a type of qualitative research. Qualitative research methods are more appropriate in this paper because the author wants to describe the effectiveness of communication in online learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Data collection using literature study techniques. Results: According to the results of the author's analysis, asynchronous learning is an effective communication applied to online learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is because through asynchronous learning communication, learning interactivity can be reflected in online distance learning through knowledge networks, such as Kompas, Kaskus, Instagram, e-mail, and social media such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Google +. The diversity of resources and activities supports students in making multi-directional communication easier, more effective, and become less tedious.

Abstrack: RSU Muslimat Ponorogo focuses on the quality of service to patients. This study aims to determine how the strategy is carried out by public relations. This article uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. Researchers get data from interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the public relations strategy of the Muslimat Ponorogo Hospital in improving the quality of service to patients was in accordance with the theory presented by the researcher. First, the human relations strategy is to maintain good relations with employees and customers or patients. Second, the community relations strategy is to maintain good relations with the community and communities around the hospital. Third, the media relations strategy is to use mass media, be it print, electronic or new media (internet). Fourth, it was found that the inhibiting factors faced by public relations in improving service quality, such as registration queue problems, lack of parking area, and lack of human resources. Meanwhile, supporting factors were also found, namely the presence of introductory media used, including conventional media, namely radio and television, outdoor media, namely billboards, and new media (internet), namely the internet, social media websites, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

A number of SMEs lack the essential marketing skills, knowledge, tools and resources, and financial access to ensure the survival of their businesses. Service learning could be used as an effective pedagogy for assisting SMEs with vital marketing communication (MC) strategies via the development of tools and resources that may increase business growth and sustainability. The primary research objective was to evaluate SMEs’ satisfaction regarding performance factors, and student developed MC tools and resources that were implemented via a MC service learning programme (in the form of student-run agencies). The inquiry utilized the triad service learning model and quality assurance cycle to apply an evaluation research design that was substantiated by the expectancy-disconfirmation paradigm. A survey was conducted among 107 SME owners and managers via a structured questionnaire. The student developed MC tools and resources and their perceived usefulness resulted in a positive influence on a number of performance factors among SMEs. MC tools and resources such as a customer database, email address, and Facebook page had the largest influence on performance factors. Performance factors such as an increase in sales, new customers, brand awareness, competitive advantage, business efficiency, and motivation of employees were found to have a positive influence SME satisfaction. Further inquiry could replicate the study via various marketing-related service learning programmes in different countries that have divergent cultures, economics and contexts.

Introduction. The relevance of the research is due to the fact that the model of communication between customers and suppliers within the online space has long influenced all marketing stages in the introduction of goods and services, starting with customer awareness, attitudes towards customers, soliciting potential customers to testing new products, sales, and customer retention. The purpose of the research is to identify features of the Internet as a space of marketing relationships and formulate the principles of interaction with users. Materials and methods. The reviewed sources included contemporary periodicals: Journal of Targeting Measurement and Analysis for Marketing, Electronic Markets, Marketing, etc. The study of Internet resources was based on the authors’ own data received by analysing the portals WebCanape, WebsiteSetup, Statista, etc. Results. There are nearly half a billion new users on social media; trillions of dollars have been spent in online stores, according to the annual Global Digital 2021 report. As of October 2021, the most popular social networks in the world by the number of active users (in millions) are Facebook (2,894), YouTube (2,291), WhatsApp (2,000), Instagram (1,393), Facebook Messenger (1,300), Weixin/WeChat (1,251), TikTok (1,000), etc. The Internet as a new business environment differs from traditional economic sectors by a higher level of heterogeneity. From the standpoint of marketing, the Internet makes it possible to simultaneously bring a message to a large number of users (mass communication is ensured), on the other hand, to customise the offer for specific consumers according to their needs. Conclusion. Contemporary marketing follows the consumer, i.e. uses the online environment as a point of contact with the consumer to promote and distribute products. Relationship marketing theories are based on the need for companies to invest in relationships between themselves and consumers. Relationship marketing focuses on taking relationships between the company and the consumer from a state of engagement to that of loyalty. Each customer has a personality and his/her relationship with a particular brand becomes the dominant factor influencing his/her decision regarding purchase or service.

From educational gaming through portable e-readers to cell phones, media are interpenetrating educational spaces and activities. Accordingly, understanding media in environmental or ecological terms has become increasingly important for education internationally. In North America, for example, the centenary of McLuhan’s birth has focused attention on approaches to media – whether oral, textual, electronic or digital– as a kind of environment in which education takes place. In parts of Europe, the so-called mediatic turn – following on the linguistic and iconic turns – has similarly emphasized the role of media as a condition for the possibility of educational activities and programs. With a few exceptions1 the papers in this special issue were first presented at the conference «Educational Media Ecologies: International Perspectives» which took place at the University of Paderborn, Germany, on March 27–28, 2012.2 The event was an interdisciplinary and transatlantic endeavor to bring together a wide range of perspectives on various issues relevant to educational media ecologies,3 and on related debates on mediation, medialization, mediatization, and mediality.4 The purpose of this volume, like the conference, is to foster and deepen international dialogue in the area of educational media. Areas of research and scholarship relevant to this dialogue include educational media, media literacy, educational philosophy, and media and cultural studies. The contributions, described below, put conceptual issues as well as social practices and applications at the center of the debate. Klaus Rummler opens the issue by clarifying the concept of ecology itself. Referencing a range of work over the past 50 years, Rummler describes how ecological models have been cast in sociological, semiotic, cultural, mediatic and other terms, and he explains the implications of these various perspectives for the study of educational contexts. Rummler also briefly introduces the reader to the triangular model used by Bachmair, Pachler and Cook in this issue (and in other publications) to analyse the socio-cultural and cognitive possibilities opened up by various mobile media. Sandra Aßmann and Bardo Herzig discuss three theoretical approaches – a network perspective, systems theory and semiotics – in order to conceptualize and analyze learning with media in a range of formal and informal settings. They use the example of «friending» someone via Facebook, a context in which the formal and informal often intersect in unexpected ways. In this way, Aßmann and Herzig demonstrate the manifest complexities of communication analysis and pragmatics in these relatively new networked, mediated contexts. Judith Seipold provides an extensive overview of the burgeoning literature on the use and potential of mobile technologies in learning and educational ecologies. The research perspectives or frameworks covered by Seipold include critical, ethical, resource-centered, learning process-centered as well as ecological frames of reference. In her coverage of the last of these, not only does Seipold help to reframe the theme of this special issue as a whole, she also provides an excellent segue to the ecologically oriented analysis of «mobile learning» that follows. Ben Bachmair and Norbert Pachler’s contribution, «A Cultural Ecological Frame for Mobility and Learning», reflects the work of the London Mobile Learning Group, examining mobile resources and affordances from the ecological perspectives of Gibson, Postman and the seminal German media-pedagogue, Dieter Baacke. Using the structuration theory of Anthony Giddens, Bachmair, Norbert and Cook elaborate the aforementioned triangular model for understanding both the agency and the cultural and structural constraints offered by mobile technologies. In «Building as Interface: Sustainable Educational Ecologies», Suzanne de Castell, Milena Droumeva and Jen Jenson connect learning and media ecologies with the material, global and ecological challenges that have become a part of the anthropocene. They do so by examining the mediation of a physical, architectural environment, their own departmental environment at Simon Fraser University. De Castell, Droumeva and Jenson uncover a range of practical and theoretical challenges, and explore the implications for both body and mind. Markus Deimann takes the reader back into the history of continental educational theory, to Humboldt’s (and others‘) expansive understanding of Bildung, to suggest a conceptual ecology germane to the manifold possibilities that are now on offer through open education. Deimann sees the «open paradigm» as changing education utterly – and for the better. It will do so, Deimann predicts, by «unbundling» resource and service provision, and assessment and accreditation functions that have for too long been monopolized by the educational monoliths known as «universities». Theo Hug’s contribution, «Media Form School – A Plea for Expanded Action Orientations and Reflective Perspectives» similarly looks to the past to envision possibilities for the future. Hug’s concern is with the narrow confines in which media are conceptualized and operationalized in many K-12 educational ecologies, and in the corresponding policy and curricular documents that further constrain and direct this action. Hug suggests looking to the recent past, the 1970s and 1960s, in which alternatives were envisioned not only by figures like McLuhan and Illich, but also intimated in the works of Austrian poets and artists. Norm Friesen provides the third «rearview mirror» perspective in his examination of the lecture as a trans-medial pedagogical form. From the late medieval university through to today’s IGNITE and TED talks, the lecture has accommodated and reflected a wide range of media ecologies, technical conditions and epistemological patterns. New media technologies –from the (data) projector to lecture capture media– have not rendered the lecture obsolete, but have instead foregrounded its performative aspects and its ongoing adaptability. Michael Kerres and Richard Heinen take as their starting point Deimann’s, Hug’s and Friesen’s stress on the manifold possibilities presented digital and open educational resources. They then seek to answer the question: How can this embarrassment of riches be put to good use in K-12 educational contexts? Their answer: «Edutags», a way of making resources more accessible and usable by providing descriptive and evaluative information along with such resources. Heinz Moser and Thomas Hermann present the concept and first results of the project «Visualized Vocational Aspirations: Potentials of photography for career counselling and vocational preparation».5 The research project is a cooperation between the Zurich University of Teacher Education (Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich) and the «Laufbahnzentrum» (Centre of Vocational Counselling) Zürich. Based on an ecological approach of narrative career education and a design-based research methodology the undertaking aims at creative applications of visual storytelling in career counselling. Rainer Leschke and Norm Friesen conclude the issue with what might be called an aesthetic- or formal-ecological perspective. The digital convergence of textual and other media forms, Leschke and Friesen maintain, means the erasure of formal and material distinctions traditionally embedded in separate media. Supply chain management (SCM) is a complex network of multiple entities ranging from business partners to end consumers. These stakeholders frequently use social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, to voice their opinions and concerns. AI-based applications, such as sentiment analysis, allow us to extract relevant information from these deliberations. We argue that the context-specific application of AI, compared to generic approaches, is more efficient in retrieving meaningful insights from social media data for SCM. We present a conceptual overview of prevalent techniques and available resources for information extraction. Subsequently, we have identified specific areas of SCM where context-aware sentiment analysis can enhance the overall efficiency.

Objective To scope all published information reporting on the feasibility, cost, access to rehabilitation services, implementation processes including barriers and facilitators of telerehabilitation (TR) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and high-income countries (HICs). Methods A comprehensive electronic search of PubMed, Scopus, PEDro, Cochrane library, EBSCOhost (Academic search premier, Africa-wide information, CINAHL, Eric, MEDLINE, Health sources - Nursing/Academic edition), Africa online, as well as ProQuest databases were conducted. To maximise the coverage of the literature, the reference lists of included articles identified through the search were also screened. The analysis included both descriptive summary and inductive thematic analysis. Results Twenty-nine studies were included. TR was reported to be feasible, cost-saving and improved access to rehabilitation services in both HICs and LMICs settings. Asynchronous methods using different mobile apps (Skype, WhatsApp, Google meet, Facebook messenger, Viber, Face time and Emails) were the most common mode of TR delivery. Barriers to the implementation were identified and categorised in terms of human, organisational, technical and clinical practice related factors. Facilitators for health professionals and patients/caregivers’ dyads were also identified. Conclusion TR could be considered a feasible service delivery mode in both HICs and LMICs. However, the mitigation of barriers such as lack of knowledge and technical skills among TR providers and service users, lack of secure platform dedicated for TR, lack of resources and connectivity issues which are particularly prevalent in LMICs will be important to optimise the benefits of TR.

11003 Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented restrictions to travel and in-person activities that limit hematology/oncology (HO) fellowship programs’ (FP) recruitment activities. Prospective applicants rely on websites and social media (SOME) to guide their decisions of applying or ranking a FP. We aim to evaluate HO FP’s digital footprint in order to identify informational gaps. Methods: The AMA Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database (FREIDA) was queried for all HO programs. We searched Google, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for HO FP pages. Content was evaluated using published criteria. Qualitative content analysis of SOME posts is planned. Results: Our analysis includes 176 FP that actively recruited during the 2020 match season. Over half (57%, n = 100) were university-based and the median number of fellow positions per year was 4 per FP (range 0-16). Most FP had websites (95%, n = 167) with varying information (Table) for prospective applicants. Twenty percent (n = 33) included a diversity statement. While 63% (n = 106) of FP provided application information, only 51% discussed visa requirements. Few FP websites included key information such as why fellows chose a particular FP (7%, n = 12), accolades of fellows (3%, n = 5), or employment location of alumni (25%, n = 44). Only 42% (n = 69) provided city, and 5% (n = 8) showed fellows socializing. Thirty-four FP (19%) have informational videos (range 1-10) in YouTube (length range: 1:37-18:15min). Most (82%; n = 28) were published since May 2020 in alignment with the FP recruitment season. Twitter was the second most common SOME platform, used by 19% (n = 32) of FP. 56% (n = 18) joined Twitter since May 2020 correlating with the current recruitment season. The number of Twitter followers (median 119, range: 0-1408) and posts (median 47, range: 0-687) varied across FP. Only 4% used Facebook and 6% Instagram. Conclusions: Our analysis of FP’s digital footprint revealed that applicants participating in the 1st virtual HO recruitment season were provided limited online information. Programs can use online content to provide information on resources, research opportunities, and achievements of faculty and fellows that can guide applicant decision making. In the era of COVID-19, highlighting the diversity and breath of each FP, hospital, and city are vital to attract a diverse and talented pool of trainees.[Table: see text]

The aim of the work was to test the opportunities that social media offers on the Internet as a tool to improve the future journalists’ communicative competence. Sociological methods were involved in the research in order to achieve its aim: a method of testing respondents to identify their initial level of communicativeness on the Communicative Competence Test and the Questionnaire Survey Method to obtain feedback from participants in the experiment. Working on media content on the Internet proved to improve communication skills of future journalists with the help of popular YouTube media and blogs with bright visual content. It was found that media resources can be used during lectures to stimulate interest and to engage students in active learning that promote deeper knowledge. The possibility of involving online mass media in joint learning, problem solving, interactive lecture demonstrations, as well as discussions was noted. A number of difficulties that the course participants encountered were found: a thorough understanding of copyright law, increased workload, lack of skills in working with electronic text, video and audio content, increased visual load. However, these difficulties did not affect the quality of training and allowed the participants to improve not only communication skills but also digital information skills and online media literacy. It was proved that social media is a powerful additional tool that encourages students to actively study, get high results and sustainable professional skills that are in demand in the future workplace. The media cannot, however, replace traditional teaching methods which are based on personal communication. Further research is required on complex long-term courses that use a wider range of media, including Tik-Tok, Facebook, Instagram, extended blogs in the form of a multipage website, a funnel for gathering the target audience and subscribing.

Edmodo is one of the electronic learning or e-learning platforms that have advantages, one of which is a display similar to Facebook's social media. This study aimed to determine the relationship of the information-seeking behavior of students of ‘Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri’ (SMKN -Vocational High School) 1, Bandung, with the utilization of Edmodo learning media. This study examined the relationship between the drive for needs, creating change, and environmental activities with the utilization of Edmodo learning media. The method used a correlation study with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were students of class X SMKN 1 Bandung, amounting to 448 people. The sample of this study was 150 people. This research used the information-seeking behavior theory from Krikelas and the concept of Information Technology (IT) Utilization from Thompson. The correlation test analysis technique used Pearson Product Moment (PPM). The results showed that the drive for needs, creating change, and environmental activities, all had a significant relationship with Edmodo learning media. This study concludes that the relationship of information-seeking behavior with the utilization of Edmodo learning media has a low level of closeness. This condition is due to several factors, for Edmodo still functions as a complementary tool and diversity of other learning resources that support student information-seeking activities at SMKN1, Bandung.

The article is devoted to studying the promotion of university educational services in the digital environment and developing recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of this area of their marketing activities. A review of the literature and the use of general and unique methods of scientific cognition made it possible to clarify the role of Internet tools in the communication patterns of a modern university and determine groups of external and internal target audiences. It has been established that the primary means of university digital media communication are the website and social networks. An analysis of the digital profiles of universities on websites made it possible to identify shortcomings related to both the content and the technical side: problems with updating and duplicating information, non-compliance with the sequence of stages of the sales funnel, restrictions on access to information, difficulty in navigation, and lack of mobile versions. Audit and content analysis of university social networks were conducted using quantitative and qualitative indicators. Quantitative analysis revealed the most significant demand for such platforms as Instagram and Facebook. The quality of using social networks as promotion tools is reduced due to the lack of corporate identity and poor consideration of the interests and needs of the target audience. The authors compiled SWOT-analysis of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Internet resources of Kazakhstan universities and proposed stages, structure and content of the strategy for promoting university educational services in the digital environment.

The relevance of the study. The digital revolution has had a significant effect on the functioning of libraries. Successful operation in the digital environment requires the improvement of the competitiveness of library services provided: libraries must be able to rethink their role, justify the value of their services for their own customers. Due to the increasing level of the Internet use among scientists, medical professionals, students, patients, community, medical libraries web-presence is of crucial importance. Websites serve as a digital gateway for library services and resources. The aim of the article is to study and present the current state of Ukrainian medical libraries service and to propose the digital services development strategy. The methodology. A content analysis was conducted over 21 Ukrainian and 5 foreign medical library websites. All data were collected within a month. Research data are presented in the form of tables and figures and analyzed using a simple method of percentages. The results. The findings show that many researched Ukrainian medical libraries are yet to exploit the full potential of the digital technologies in library service. The most common services: online public access catalog, virtual references services, identification UDC index, repository, electronic document delivery service (EDDS). Less than half (43%) of medical library sites in Ukraine are adapted to mobile devices. The most popular social media among medical libraries in Ukraine: Facebook (57%), Instagram (33%) and YouTube (29%). Over the last 5 years, libraries have become more active in offering web-based services and resources: plagiarism testing services, repositories, EDDS, virtual references services, identification UDC index. The main strategic objectives of the digital services development for medical libraries in Ukraine should be: increasing the web and social media presence, introducing mobile technologies, improving communication between the library and users, developing services to support research lifecycle, interdisciplinary partnership, support for information literacy of biomedical professionals and medical literacy of the community, developing competences of the medical librarians, corporate cooperation of the Ukrainian medical libraries system. The scientific topicality. The current state of Ukrainian medical libraries digital service was analyzed and compared with the state of five years ago and foreign academic medical libraries. Digital services development strategy was proposed. The practical significance. The study can be very interesting and important for medical librarians for upgrading, creation and support of relevant medical library services.

BACKGROUND The present Covid-19 situation has created an era of learning through the electronic devices, where YouTube channel is playing an important role. Neuroanatomy is a complex subject requiring three-dimensional orientation of the structures. Practical teaching by using the cadaveric specimens is a usual practice, but in the current situation the virtual platform is an indispensable and sustainable option for both teaching and learning activities.In the present study the utility of YouTube and digital content on neuroanatomy was assessed among I MBBS students using selfadministered questionnaire during Covid -19 pandemic. METHODS The questionnaire based cross sectional study of prosected neuroanatomy specimens in the department of Anatomy were utilized to create digital content modules. According to the topics, PDF content was generated, and it was shared before the commencement of virtual class. Later YouTube link was shared with our I MBBS students through social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook regularly. At the end of completion of whole teaching schedule, a questionnaire was circulated to obtain the feedback on this teaching method. Finally, the responses were collected and interpreted. RESULTS In the present survey, 257 participants (176 females and 81 males) from 10 medical colleges responded to all 12 items of the questionnaire. We observed that 36 % of them graded excellent for content, 25 % for audio quality, 21 % for video quality, 29 % for specimens used, 25 % for labelling of specimens in YouTube videos. Out of 257 responses 35 % of them were graded excellent for pdf content, 30 % for pictorial representation of brain specimens, 30 % for labelling and 24 % for length. For overall rating for teaching learning method 35 % of them graded 8, 17 % graded 9 and 7 % of them have graded 10. CONCLUSIONS This mode of learning can be used for the purpose of distal education as per the convenience of the students, who are presently staying away from the campus. Our students have taken the benefit of teaching where the PDF and YouTube contents were appreciated by large number of students. The issue of the use of information and communication technologies in the education of pharmaceutical students is highlighted. The author pays special attention to the importance of creating a personal educational environment that enables the student's self-education and is the basis for lifelong education. The author provides a detailed interpretation of the phenomenon, approaches to it, and describes four models that are used in foreign pedagogical practice. The analysis of pedagogical studies made it possible to affirm the opinion about the potential of PLE for the development of the self-educational activity of the student, in particular, the future specialist-pharmacist. The author indicated the directions of using information technologies in medical education. The possibilities of certain elements of the personal educational environment through the prism of their involvement in the educational process, the importance of developing skills and actively using a number of information resources at the same time, systematizing and comparing the acquired knowledge, independently creating new sources of information are described. A number of computer and web technologies have been identified that enable the formation of PLE, promote motivation and development of self-educational activity, namely: the use of structuring of the educational space of higher education institutions based on Ms Office365 and Ms Teams services, MSO365 cloud services; social networks Viber, Facebook and YouTube channels; communication platforms Zoom, Skype, Google Classroom, and others; use of computer modeling of physical, biological, chemical, physiological processes, modeling of laboratory work; use of electronic textbooks; use of multimedia educational and demonstration computer programs, learning and informative video films; development of the department's website for placing organizational and learning information on it; use of computer-based testing of students' knowledge and an interactive survey system. The author provides specific examples from pedagogical practice, proving a direct connection between information and communication technologies that fill PLE with the development of self-education activities of the student
