Effects of temperature and the combination of liquid lime sulfur (LLS) and fish oil (FO) applied during bloom on pollen germination and pollen tube growth in flowers and fruit set were examined in apples (Malus ×domestica Borkh.). Intracellular growth of Legionella pneumophila Philadelphia-1 strain in peritoneal macrophages (PMP) from various rodents was measured and its correlation to the level of susceptibility of the animal was examined.
