The growing need to diversify animal agriculture in the UK has increased interest in the production of fibre and meat from goats. Previous studies (e.g. Shahjalal, Galbraith & Topps 1992, Anim. Prod. 541, 405–412; Deaville & Galbraith 1992, Anim. Fd. Sci. Technol. 38, 127–133) have suggested that protein supplementation can influence growth rate and fibre characteristics of Angora goats. The aim of the work reported here was to provide more detailed infirmation on the effect of level of protein supplementation on growth performance, carcass yield and fibre characteristics of British crossbred Cashmere goats.

Abstract (sommario):

The sources and literature on the medial history of Diyarbekr region are limited as it is the general case with the medieval history of Anatolia on the whole. Apart from few sources which are, however, directly related to the area there are othere sources from which indirect infirmation can be derived to study the history of the area. Inorder to avoid confusion, however, no such classification will be made, rather they will be treated under original or primary sources, secondary literature and Armenian and Syriac sources. Before examining them, nevetheless, it would perhaps be better to briefly mention few works and bibliographies in which there can be found a good literature on the area.

Abstract (sommario):

There was a burning of tauhid flag on 28 oct 2018 at kec limabngan garut. It was known as the flag of hti. This action became widely spread out through the video with many argumentation and opinion. Besides, there was false infirmation about flag burning. This study focused to give description text analysis, practical discourse analysis and socio cultural on this burning flag incident. The object of the study is the false information of tauhid flag burning. Data collection technique is documentation from turnbackhiax.id. Data analysis uses critical discourse analysis by fairclough. From the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a negative opinion construction toward muslim. Second, this negative framing has also a political situation at that time.

Abstract (sommario):

This paper examines again the critic that Pierangelo Garegnani does about the coherency of the walrasian theory when it considers the capitalisation. The infirmation of this critic is built on the highlight that Garegnani' s reading doesn't consider the 7th section of «Elements of Pure Economics» particularly when Walras introduces production fonctions with variable coefficients. In fact, in this section this type of fonctions authorizes the establishing of the theorem of marginal productivities so it is not possible to ignore it if one wants to prove an incoherency of the Walras ' theory. But we are showing here that when it is wanted to attribute the same statuts to the production fonctions of new capitals the walrasian model finds again all its coherency without considering temporal or intertemporal analysis or supposing that the production fonctions are reversal.

Abstract (sommario):

Cet article opère une comparaison des théories de la proposition — entendue dans sa double dimension sémantique et gnoséologique — du Wittgenstein des Philosophische Bemerkungen (1930) et du Russell de The Analysis of Mind (1921). Après avoir rappelé le statut sémantique nouveau que ces théories accordent au temps en intégrant le fait qu’un délai sépare, pour un grand nombre de nos énoncés, leur occurrence et leur vérification (respect. infirmation), il établit que la notion d’attente est chargée, chez Wittgenstein (Erwartung) comme chez Russell (expectation), de combler cet écart temporel. Mais — c’est le deuxième point — une notion différente est mobilisée par chacun de ces deux auteurs, et dans un projet théorique à chaque fois différent : alors que Wittgenstein vise à étendre la notion tractatuséenne de relation interne aux relations sémantiques temporelles et à défendre un intentionnalisme logique, Russell cherche au contraire à soutenir une conception externaliste de ces relations de façon à faire droit aux cas où elles sont non-intentionnelles. Pour cela, Wittgenstein adopte un concept appelé ici « intentionnel » de l’attente, alors que Russell s’appuie sur un concept dit « non-intentionnel ». Une conséquence majeure de cette différence — c’est le troisième point — est que la célèbre critique par Wittgenstein de l’analyse russellienne de l’attente se révèle être largement erronée dans la mesure où elle se donne pour cible un concept qui n’est pas celui de Russell. Le quatrième point défendu par l’article est qu’une fois rétabli le concept de Russell, l’externalisme que celui-ci défend est doté d’arguments susceptibles de contrer efficacement la position internaliste et intentionnaliste de Wittgenstein.

Cicero, in the early work de Inventione (1.18), defines what is the hermagorean doctrine of κρινόμενον: “the point for the judge's decision is the issue which arises from the denial (ex infirmatione) and tight assertion of the excuse (et confirmatione rationis)”. The doubts on the authenticity of the text are old, and modern editors delete the reference to the confirmatio. However, most of manuscripts attest the necessity of the confirmation of the defense. Also, confirmatio is that by means of which our speech proceeding in argument adds belief, and authority, and corroboration to our cause (de Inv., 1.34). Moreover Cicero, in Partitiones oratoriae (104), explains that only by continuous refutations between the parties to the proceedings it arises the κρινόμενον: this is the rhetorical counterpart of dialectic antilogy. Finally, the early medieval commentaries of the de Inventione give reason to the firmamentum after the κρινόμενον.

Abstract (sommario):

Twitter is being used as the mass medium by many people to express opinions, post clarifications, share information, advertise, complain, provide feedback, and reporting. Social media have witnessed an explosive growth of malicious and deceptive information. Studies have confirmed that misleading information diffuses significantly farther, faster, deeper, and more broadly than factual information in all categories of information. Thus, it has become important to detect misinformation at hteir early stages before it spreads online, thus avoiding risk, damage, errors, hoaxes, and other falsehoods. Twitter can also be used to aid in managing the communication during any operational aspects of large events of national or international importance such as assembly and general elections, Kumbh Mela, Common Wealth Games and epidemic situations like COVID-19. Using the case of malfunctioning of electronic voting machines (EVMs) in the general elections of India 2019, we propose a data science framework that can be used to identify genuine and non-genuine tweet. This study also helps organizations/management to prioritize only genuine tweets during an operational crisis occurring in large events and address the no-genuine tweets to avoid any fake information propagation. To develop this approach, we integrated results and insights from feature engineering, text mining, sentiment analysis, and data mining to detect genuine and non-genuine information using Twitter data.

Abstract (sommario):

Hong et al. (2007) claim that a number of industry returns in U.S. and in eight largest non-U.S. stock markets can forecast the stock market using monthly data. Tse (2015) reexamine their results in U.S. with updated data and extended period, he finds evidence that the market can predict industries more significantly than can the reverse. I investigate these relationships for the Brazilian market, adding a study to check if the causality from industries to the market is independent of the chosen model. Data is from August of 1994 to September of 2016. I found that isn’t possible to conclude that industry returns causes stock market returns for Brazil. I also show that the forecasting power that some models may present isn’t robust to a sub-sample analysis. My overall results are consistent with the efficient market hypothesis.

Abstract (sommario):

Abstract Objectives/Scope Carbon Capture processes have been utilized in various sectors, but limitations in its large parasitic load have been observed in its use in Natural Gas Process Plants, and that is mostly associated with the energy penalty incurred during its processes. The energy penalty is mainly caused by the solvent regeneration in the stripper column, the CO2 compression process, and the low amount of CO2 levels in the combustion flue gas, which is usually less than 15% (7-14 % for coal-fired and as low as 3% for gas-fired). This research work, therefore, has the objective of solving the challenges of solvent regeneration time in the stripper column, as the packing arrangement, corrugation angle, and crimp height can influence the capture efficiency through the solvent. Methods, procedures, process Aspen HYSYS was adopted for modeling the absorption rate through the stripper column in order to understand the hydrodynamic phenomenon in absorbers using solid absorbents under plug flow and well-mixed flow conditions. The rate fraction was analyzed at various process configurations and staged regeneration simulation processes in a packed column considering enthalpy changes at both gas and liquid phases. Results, Observations, Conclusions The results showed a 20% reduction in the solvent regeneration time, as against existing processes & technologies. It was observed that operating at a lower circulating rate results in a lower utility requirement on the reboiler hence increasing the circulation flow rate, which has little to no effect on the condenser utility. And this additionally led to a reduction in the energy penalty, as low-pressure steam was used as the energy input for the solvent regeneration process, thus posing a significant efficiency penalty. In conclusion, the modeling by the process optimization and modification of the post-combustion carbon capture plant reduced the regeneration energy requirements. Novel/Additive Infirmation: The solvent solution flowrate in the absorber was optimally considered with various lean CO2 solvent loadings in order to achieve higher CO2 capture and removal efficiency.
