In the search for the solution to energy storage problems, this study investigates the interfacial energy interaction and temperature stability of the composites made of polypyrrole-graphene-borophene (PPy-Gr-Bon) by using molecular dynamics simulations. Na+-K+-ATPase plays an essential role in active alveolar epithelial fluid resorption. In fetal and adult alveolar epithelial cells, glucocorticoids (GC) increase Na+-K+-ATPase activity and mRNA levels. We sought to define the mechanism of Na+-K+-ATPase gene upregulation by GC. In a rat alveolar epithelial cell line (RLE), dexamethasone (Dex) increased β1-subunit Na+-K+-ATPase mRNA expression two- to threefold within 3 h after exposure to the GC. The increased gene expression was due to increased transcription as demonstrated by nuclear run-on assays, whereas mRNA stability remained unchanged.

Soil zinc (Zn) deficiency limits crop growth and yield besides its low concentration in grain and straw. Growing of Zn efficient cultivars with high crop yield at low Zn supply would represent a sustainable approach to crop production. Therefore, to evaluate Zn efficiency of rice genotypes, twenty eight different rice genotypes were evaluated under various treatments like three levels of Zn viz. low (without Zn), medium (10 kg Zn ha-1 soil) and high (20 kg Zn ha-1 soil + three foliar sprays of 0.5% Zn).
