The purpose of this thesis is to study a new contouring system for CNC machine tools. The system, which uses the tooling taser and photo diode of position sensor detector, is different form the traditional telescope magnetic Ball Bar system. The system is employed to obtain the contouring error in each of two single axises and these two error components also can be integrated as a radial error such as the error obtained by the Ball Bar system. The work of employing the multi-single axis contouring system includes the displacement calibration of the PSDs, the setting-up of the PSDs mounted on the table, the lay out of the contouring path, the method deciding the start point and the end point in a contouring test, the intergration of the circularity and the research of contouring error of two single axis in the contouring test. First, in the tesis the error of the CNC machine and other traditional contouring systems are introduced. Then, the software and the hardware of the system are described. The system is employed to test the CNC machine. At last, the analysis of the test results and some discussions and suggestions are provided in this system.

The feed drive system of a machine tool includes the feed mechanism and a NC controller. The feed drive system has large effect on the performance of high speed machine tools. In order to get the enough accuracy of a high speed feed drive system, we must increase the system response and the motion accuracy. To fulfill these requirements, the control system should be reasonably designed. The driving elements and the operating parameters should also be properly determined. In this study, we proposed a measurement technology by using model testing and IBN-TOOLS signal measurement software which is designed by SIEMENS. First of all, we tried to get the equation of motion for feed drive system from Newton’s low. In order to get the correct transfer function of the system. we also use system identification to analyze the table dynamic response which is caused by the movement of a machine tool. We also proved it by the measurement value. Firstly, we find that the system inertia must correspond to the motor inertia, and the system dynamic properties will be better if both of then are in good operating condition. Secondly, we used the properties of frequence pesponse corresponding to system identification. Then we found the main element which influences the system dynamic properties by adjusting the parameters. Finally we can improve the model by comparing the mathematic model with experimental values.

Recently, most five axis machine tool of structural analysis and laser measurement researches are correcting statically. Some errors occur and are unable to find out at first during actual cutting situation. For example, error conditions such as cutter heating, vibration and backlash are unable to find out for adjustment due to differ of workpieces. For these reasons, however, there are no enough researches focus on direct cutting method for analyzing workpiece errors and estimating errors sources of five axis machine tools in the academic researches. Therefore, based in cutting test standard of NAS 979, ISO 10791 international cutting standards and cutting machines of Type A five axis machine tools and mill-turn multi-tasking machines. According to error measurement results of the pyramid-shaped and the cylinder-shaped, design and establish the motion errors analysis model. The main error analysis is focus on the pyramid-shaped workpiece, and use its adventage condition to estimate the 14 error sources, including five items of positioning error of X, Y, Z, B and C axis, six items of straightness error of horizontal and vertical component of X, Y, Z axis, three items of perpendicularity error of X-Y axis, Y-Z axis, Z-X axis. Clarify machine mistake according to measurement results and motion error method for adjustment and compentation.

The machining performance of five-axis machine tools is commonly examined by the specifications of National Aerospace Standards (NAS) 979 or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 10791. Hower, the cutting conditions for five-axis machine tools, which have not been defined thoroughly, would cause problems, such as the test piece can also be used for machining in the three-axis or four-axis machine tools leading to poor machining evaluation performance. In order to improve the five-axis machine tool machining test techniques, this study designs a set of complete cutting processes in direct cutting test method for examining five-axis machine tools performance. The cylindrical test piece and the pyramid test piece are designed with novel cutting parameter and patterns. One of the cylindrical test piece consists of features, which include the five-axis machine tools simultaneous machining patterns. The positioning errors can be clearly evaluated on the pyramid test piece by using measured location. Finished test pieces are measured using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and this research also presents a complete cutting performance for B and C type five-axis machine tools.

Testo completoProgramming tools are computer programs which help humans program computers. Tools come in all shapes and forms, from editors and compilers to debuggers and profilers. Each of these tools facilitates a core task in the programming workflow which consumes cognitive resources when performed manually. In this thesis, we explore several tools that facilitate the process of building intelligent systems, and which reduce the cognitive effort required to design, develop, test and deploy intelligent software systems. First, we introduce an integrated development environment (IDE) for programming Robot Operating System (ROS) applications, called Hatchery (Chapter 2). Second, we describe Kotlin∇, a language and type system for differentiable programming, an emerging paradigm in machine learning (Chapter 3). Third, we propose a new algorithm for automatically testing differentiable programs, drawing inspiration from techniques in adversarial and metamorphic testing (Chapter 4), and demonstrate its empirical efficiency in the regression setting. Fourth, we explore a container infrastructure based on Docker, which enables reproducible deployment of ROS applications on the Duckietown platform (Chapter 5). Finally, we reflect on the current state of programming tools for these applications and speculate what intelligent systems programming might look like in the future (Chapter 6).

Taiwan machine tool production in 2004 has raised to the amount NT$96,500 million owing to the demand Mainland China market. This is the highest amount over the recent years and in turn pushes Taiwan global rank to fifth position. However, the design, research and development of industrial mechanical equipment are facing the same problem. These problems at hand, are designing different kind of electronic equipment compatible on one machine functioning properly simultaneously without compromising the individual efficiency as well as interfering with the normal function of other electronic elements and the question of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This thesis will discuss the variation of RE measurement in different sites between OATS and manufacturing factory. The principle is to build a standard signal source to generate a broadband interference, then to measure the interference in OATS and manufacturing factory in order to analyze the deviation between two sites. This method also presented some statistical data for calculating a very useful correction factor which can correct the data of RE measurement in situ. After correcting, the measurement inaccuracy can be reduced from 19.25dB to 4dB.

This thesis mainly discusses a different types of the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool structure, application of Experimental Modal Analysis and Finite Element Method to carry out the structure of the system dynamics analysis, but for the increasingly complex structure of the machine tool, connection type for whole dynamic structure characteristics of the two structural elements have a significant impact, this article would use the ANSYS Finite Element Method, two types of machines about architecture of the hard track and tracks are finite element model, theoretical analysis of the simulation of structural systems, investigate it''s natural frequencies, mode shapes and interface stiffness etc. and through the Mechanism analysis software “RecurDyn” to solve the rigid-bod and flexible-body analysis, inertial vibration generated in the simulation of the structure moves for the dynamic effects of the base、column and contact stress etc. and then the application of Experimental Modal Analysis, using the LDS spectrum analyzer, measuring spindle head produce frequency response function at the actual operation processing, and than used the ME''s cope post-processing software obtained the actual structure of the modal frequencies, mode shapes, etc. to proof and evaluate the modal parameters, finally, using the topology optimization analysis to improvement the structural design, to use as reference of the modifications and design in the future.
