Testo completoMaster’s work deals with the main aspects of scientific papers of Lithuanian and foreign authors related to project management and strategic objectives realization in an organization. There are analyzed and systemized theoretical project features on implementation of the Organization‘s strategic aims. Also, there are submitted strategic objectives of Organization‘s and project's theoretical interaction model. The method of document analysis was designed to identify three aspects. Firstly, the work aims to show the project‘s financial benefits in activities of Šiauliai University. Secondary, it determines in which documents is focused during the project management process. Thirdly, the aim was to find out in what strategic objectives selected projects are oriented. The research is based on Siauliai University strategic documents, activity reports, Lithuanian legislation which are related to the higher education funding and the application of 3 selected projects. The aim of this study - to reveal “Kėdainiai sport school” management of the sport organization, highlighting the features of the sport organization management and submit the direction of improvement of "Kedainiai sport school” sport organization. The study included 35 respondents, of whom 71.4% were male and 28.6% female. The study was based on these methods: questionnaire survey, questionnaire, which consisted of general information (social - demographic variables) about the respondent, and issues related to the management of sport organization in the management of the learning organization. On his purpose the scientifis literature, documents about the leadership and effective management of the leaders of educational institutions were scrutinized; the expression of leadership among the leaders of general education schools of Siauliai was examined; the features of effective organisation were identified and the influence of the leadership on the effective management of schools of Siauliai was examined as well. The objectives are to discuss the problem of conception, the needs and opportunities of reputation management and communication; to determine the features of the reputation of profit and non-profit organization; to define the abilities to apply common reputation measurement model; to determine how do the non-profit organizations understand the concept of reputation, what knowledge do they have about the managing and communicating the reputation and how do the organizations communicate the reputation through their internet sites. After analysis of scientific literature, the conclusion is that reputation of organization is measurable, one can manage it. There are measurement models created. There are connections between identity, image and reputation of organization. Nevertheless these are three different concepts. Corporate reputation is considered to be a valuable asset that enables to attract and operate material and intellectual resources for seeking competitive advantage. Any organizational activity, visual element and even effective international communication may influence corporate reputation significantly. Therefore international communication can be considered as a need for any modern corporate, which was forced by dynamic and sophisticated business environment. The object this thesis is characteristics of international communication in the corporate reputation management. The main goal of this paper is to establish the role of international communication on the reputation of business corporate, and to indicate the main factors pounding necessity of effective international communication, to protect the corporate reputation. To reach the main goal of this paper the method of qualitative contents analysis is used. According to empirical research, effective international communication decides positive reputation of business corporate. Also it is concluded that elements of international communication as means of proper reputation on the websites of business corporate are used poorly.

We also observe greater influence of knowledge management on cultural institutions the common feature of which is that they all form, integrate, store, disseminate and give access to information and knowledge and render services to the same or similar groups of users. They are museums, libraries and archives. Knowledge management for these institutions which traditionally are not disposed to change and accept novelties is known but not very familiar sphere. Knowledge management as a separate branch of management is the subject of this project. Testo completoModern foreign and Lithuanian researchers in particular definitions of the audit concept are integral to the organizations financial performance analysis and evaluation of audit without broader understanding of the concept. According to the audit of application of modern theoretical and empirical work, it could be argued that the most common conception of the audit no longer represent the current situation, since the financial audit is only one of many organizations to investigate the activities used in the audit forms. While most authors recognize the benefits of the information audit to the organizations, but the range of information on this topic is narrow. Information analysis of single audit in scientific publications the theoretical level, the scope of this audit highlighted the importance of organizations to improve business processes, but in practice, the information has not been taken yet and the audit is carried out only in isolated cases, there are no such standards or the methodology of the audit to the organizations. Testo completoThis article contains information about employee motivation, more exactly, about means of employee motivation. Motivation is an inner force that drives employee behaviour. In order to make employee work good, employer have to choose right means of motivation from big variety. All these means can be classified into two big groups: material and psychological. The most known material mean is salary. This mean is effective, but have a short-lasting effect. For this reason it is recommended to use more psychological means such as possibilities of career, prestige of an enterprise, good communication, attention and respect of employee. The selection of means should be made according to situation of enterprise, work specific and needs of employee. Motivation process has to be a partnership between employee and employer. The aim of investigation was to analyse motivation at work, to discover the influence of current motivation systems to overall work performance. The majority of the employees mostly women were chosen from AB „SEB bank“ operations department (100 persons), and investigated by these methods: a questionnaire and an interview. The questionnaire was anonymous and was sent by email.

The first part analyzes the scientific literature, which defines the concept of project management, the project manager, as well as the concept of project management maturity and its assessment. The second part analyzes the results of survey of Lithuanian Project Management Association. After the questionnaire survey showed a trend towards the Lithuanian companies which carry out the projects are concentrated in higher-expertise project managers and organizations are not always able to provide them with the necessary working conditions and resources necessary for successful project implementation. In the third part is presented project of proposals, based on one of the maturity assessment and improvement of models - OPM3 and to improve organizational project management maturity in an organization.

Testo completoHuman resources are important by competences and knowledge’s they have. They are one of the most important organizational assets. Each organization must have clever way to use them. That’s why human resources must be known as strategic partner in organization, not only administrator, because by being part of strategic planning they can reach good results. The most important thing is to find out the way how to use human resources into strategic management and reach organizational effectiveness. Analysis showed that leaders of organization do understand the importance of human resources. According to the results, the most popular strategic theory in the organizations was Classic strategy theory ant this theory has the higher level of involvement of human resources into strategic organization management. Research showed that most organizations are managed in democratic style. This style of management involves human resources more than liberal management style. A correlation was found between organization size and level of human resources involvement. Small and medium size organization has higher level of human resources involvement into strategic organization management. The major part of respondents believe that human resources can affect organization effectiveness. They also agreed that higher human resources involvement level is more valuable.

Testo completoThe Master Thesis concerns the theme of conflict management in small business organizations. The goal of the work is to exhibit different approaches to the organizational conflict and to identify a broad set of methods and skills for analyzing conflicts and supporting people in finding the solutions they need. The research paper represents an innovative approach to the study of conflict. Organizational conflict is perceived and defined as being not a problem itself. Well managed conflict contributes to creativity, strategic initiative, more effective systems and communication, stronger workplace relationships and greater commitment to the organization. Organizations shouldn’t attempt to prevent conflict, but should instead focus energy on preventing unresolved or destructive conflict. Left unresolved or escalating destructively, conflict is expensive, both in financial and human terms. Some conflict costs are easily measured, such as time and salary loss, team members leaving the company, lack of information, grievances and related complaints. Effective conflict resolution systems, even in very small organizations, create opportunities for conflict to be identified and addressed early and constructively. To reach this goal it was done: analyzed different authors opinion about the influence of personal management parts to personal turnover, created model; also it was analyzed results of researches which showed the reasons of employees’ turnover and the sequences in Lithuania. Testo completoThe goal of this Master’s paper work is to analyse and provide the definition of the Human Resource Management (HRM), Human Resource Management Activities HRMA), methods used to implement them and theoretical aspects of the subject, in Lithuanian organizations, providing services for people with mental disabilities, by comparing them to a similar organization in more economically developed country, to name the problematic areas of HRM in Lithuanian organizations and to provide with the concrete solution projects. Theoretical aspects of HRM, HRMA, methods and subject are analyzed and defined in the 1st part of this Master’s paper work. Generalized results of the inquiries on the HRM, HRMA and its subject in Kaunas Day Centre for Disabled Youth (KDCDY), Vilijampolės Children and Youth Boarding - School (VCYBS), Kaunas Adaptation Center for Children with Autism Syndrome (KACCAS) and comparative analysis with HRM, HRM and its subject in Sunbeam House Services, Ireland (SHS) are provided in the 2nd part of this paper work. The 3rd part of this paper work is intended to name the main problematical areas of the HRM, HRMA in KDCDY, VCYBS, KACCAS and to provide with the concrete solution projects. The solution projects are designed for the following HRMA improvement: human resource planning, adaptation, appraisal, movement and career planning, training and development, remuneration.

Testo completoDocuments were analysed and aspects of strategic management of AB “Lietuvos paštas” (hereinafter referred to as – Lietuvos paštas) were substantiated by empirical as well as quantitative researches, theoretical and legal peculiarities of activities of the company were analysed and systematized at the present Master Thesis with reference to studies of Lithuanian and foreign authors. Differences between strategic management of private and public sector are distinguished, peculiarities of strategic management are discussed, concepts describing services, the essence thereof are introduced, aspects of service functioning at the public sector are reviewed. Analysis of external and internal factors, SWOT analysis have been carried out in order to reveal the tendencies of strategic management of Lietuvos paštas. Upon generalization of research results it turned out that key problems of AB “Lietuvos paštas” are inflexible rates for services to clients, absence of strategic management as a system determine insufficient development of internal processes, lack of management policy in optimizing the public network of post offices.
