La creciente popularidad y las capacidades mejoradas de los asistentes personales inteligentes, como Google Assistant, Siri y Alexa, han permitido su aplicación en numerosos campos, algunos de los cuales son: servicio al cliente, banca y turismo. No obstante, la aplicación de estos asistentes para la capacitación y el aprendizaje de trabajadores profesionales ha sido limitada y no ha sido bien investigada.   El presente documento validará la propuesta de una solución para la capacitación continua y el aprendizaje de los visitadores médicos sobre la información de los medicamentos mediante el uso de un agente de conversación basado en la voz. Esto permitirá que los representantes de ventas farmacéuticas puedan preguntar al agente acerca de las propiedades de los medicamentos y realizar exámenes frecuentes sobre la información disponible para verificar su conocimiento. Esta validación se realizará a través del seguimiento y aplicación de una metodología de investigación centrada en las soluciones y arquitecturas existentes que brinden una base para iniciar el desarrollo del proyecto.
The increasing popularity and enhanced capabilities of intelligent personal assistants, such as Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa, have allowed them to disrupt in many fields, some of which are: customer service, banking, and tourism. Notwithstanding, the application of intelligent personal assistants for training and learning of professional workers has been limited and not well researched. This document will validate the proposal of a solution for the continuous training and learning of the medical visitors on the information of the medications using a voice-based conversation agent. This will allow pharmaceutical sales representatives to ask the agent about the properties of the drugs and conduct frequent reviews of the information available to verify their knowledge. This validation will be carried out through the monitoring and application of a research methodology focused on the existing solutions and architectures that provide a basis to start the development of the project.

La sécurité publique exige efficacité et diminution des erreurs et des risques. L'interprétation des messages échangés au cours d'une intervention s'appuie à la fois sur des connaissances et sur des interactions. Mais les connaissances mise en œuvre sont difficiles à capitaliser et la sécurité publique se construit par un double mouvement individu-collectif selon la théorie de la structuration de Giddens. L'intervention policière, incertaine et rapide, ne peut se contenter d'un système expert. Le modèle interactionniste du sens éclaire les enjeux et difficultés d'une automatisation de l'interprétation. La signification des éléments des messages se dégage d'un processus de catégorisation. Le sens de l'intervention émerge de la succession des interlocutions par un processus de mutation sémantique qui donne tout son poids au global et au structurel. Les systèmes adaptatifs et les systèmes multi-agents ouvrent une voie à l'interprétation assistée par ordinateur. L'opérateur radio dialogue avec le monde virtuel que lui propose l'outil d'interprétation des interlocutions.

Since the decade of 2000s, the Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) in Multifunctional Resource Rooms (SRMFs) have been the flagship of the special education policy in Brazil. In order to do so, there was a significant increase in the number of SRMFs throughout the country, reaching the mark of 41.751 resource rooms at the end of 2014. This expansion was justified as necessary to strengthen the process of educational inclusion in the regular classes of regular education and to guarantee education of quality to people with disabilities, global developmental disorders and high skilled students ( special gifted persons). Considering this the general aim of our study was to analyze the functions of the rooms with multifunctional resources in the context of Brazilian special education. In order to develop our study, we selected the following specific objectives: a) to contextualize the functions of educational assistance for people with disabilities in Brazilian special education; b) to show the relationship between the functions of multifunctional resource rooms and the functions of education for people with disabilities from the perspective of international organizations; c) describe the functions of the SRMFs expressed in national documents, explaining their mechanisms of materialization; d) to discuss the latent functions of the multifunctional resource rooms. Our theoretical support comes from authors who study the history of special education in the country as well as those who discuss the policy of special education from the perspective of inclusive education. In addition to this, we found support in master's and doctoral studies produced from 2005 until 2017 which investigated the theme of multifunctional resources and specialized educational service. The methodological contribution used in our study and analysis of the empirical material was guided by the theoretical-methodological conception of dialectical historical materialism and guided by the documental analysis procedure used by Garcia (2007). We also used, as a source of data, guiding and normative documents produced by the former Secretariat of Special Education (SEESP), by the current Secretariat of Continuing Education, Literacy, Inclusion and Diversity (SECADI), by the National Education Development Fund (FNDE) among other sources. In addition, statistical data and documents produced by International Organizations dealing with the functions of education for people with disabilities were used from the last quarter of the 20th century to the present day. The results of the research allowed us to confirm the initial thesis that the materialization of multifunctional resource rooms has not allowed this space to fulfill its original functions, since the adopted organizational model does not make it possible to overcome chronic problems of special education in the country, such the non- learning conditions of students, the weak and precarious preparation of regular classroom teachers, the use of resources by non-public entities, among other factors. However, if classrooms did not improve enrollment levels for special education subjects, they allowed the market to enter educational space in the name of a pretended inclusion of students with disabilities, global knowledge disorders, and high skilled students. In this sense, there are two angles of interpretation: one: the specialized educational service does not correspond to the needs of students and teachers who work in the multifunctional resource rooms; two: the these rooms support the reproduction of capital, especially in its material aspect of commodity circulations.
A partir da década de 2000, o Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) em Sala de Recursos Multifuncionais (SRMFs) constituiu-se no carro-chefe da política de educação especial no Brasil. Para tanto, houve ampliação significativa no número de SRMFs em todo o território nacional, atingindo a marca de 41.751 ao final de 2014. Essa expansão foi justificada como necessária para fortalecer o processo de inclusão educacional nas classes comuns do ensino regular e garantir educação de qualidade para os sujeitos com deficiência, transtornos globais do desenvolvimento e altas habilidades/superdotação. Diante do exposto, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar as funções da sala de recursos multifuncionais no contexto da educação especial brasileira. Foram privilegiados os seguintes objetivos especificos: a) contextualizar as funções do atendimento educacional para as pessoas com deficiência na educação especial brasileira; b) evidenciar as relações entre as funções das salas de recursos multifuncionais e as funções da educação para as pessoas com deficiência na ótica dos organismos internacionais; c) descrever as funções da SRMFs expressas em documentos nacionais, explicitando seus mecanismos de materialização; d) discutir as funções latentes da sala de recursos multifuncionais. A pesquisa teve seu embasamento teórico tanto em autores que estudam a história da educação especial no país como naqueles que discutem a política de educação especial na perspectiva da educação inclusiva, além de pesquisas de mestrado e doutorado produzidas entre 2005 a 2017 sobre o tema salas de recursos multifuncionais e atendimento educacional especializado. O aporte metodológico utilizado na pesquisa e a análise do material empírico guiou-se pela concepção teórico-metodológica do materialismo histórico dialético e pautou-se pelo procedimento de análise documental utilizado por Garcia (2007). A pesquisa utilizou como fonte de dados documentos orientadores e normativos produzidos pela antiga Secretaria de Educação Especial (SEESP), pela atual Secretaria de Educação Continuada, Alfabetização, Inclusão e Diversidade (SECADI), pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE), dentre outros. Além desses, foram utilizados dados estatísticos e documentos produzidos pelos Organismos Internacionais que tratam das funções da educação para as pessoas com deficiência a partir do último quartel do século XX até os dias atuais. Os resultados da pesquisa permitiram confirmar a tese inicial de que a materialização das salas de recursos multifuncionais não tem permitido a esse espaço cumprir suas funções originais, uma vez que o modelo de organização adotado não possibilita superar problemas crônicos da educação especial no país, como a não aprendizagem dos alunos, a formação debilitada e precária dos professores de sala de aula regular e de AEE, a utilização de recursos por entidades não públicas, entre outros fatores. Todavia, se as salas não melhoraram os níveis de escolarização para os sujeitos da educação especial, permitiram ao mercado adentrar o espaço educacional em nome de uma pretensa inclusão dos estudantes com deficiência, transtornos globais do conhecimento e altas habilidades. Nesse sentido, há dois ângulos de interpretação: de um, o atendimento educacional especializado não corresponde às necessidades dos estudantes e dos professores que atuam nas salas de recursos multifuncionais; de outro, oposto, essas salas dão suporte à reprodução do capital, principalmente em seu aspecto material de circulação de mercadorias.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar como ocorre a articulação entre os professores da Sala de Recursos e os professores das salas de aula nas quais estão matriculados os alunos com deficiências e com Transtorno Global do Desenvolvimento. A pesquisa foca no município de Conselheiro Lafaiete, nas Salas de Recursos Multifuncionais (SRM) e nas escolas que encaminham seus alunos para o Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE). A partir das orientações legais das duas últimas décadas, as redes de ensino implantaram serviços de SRM, uma vez que estas legislações atribuíram a elas um importante papel no processo de inclusão dos alunos com deficiência, TGD e altas habilidades. A SRM assumiu, na discussão da Educação Inclusiva no país, a função de identificar, elaborar e organizar recursos pedagógicos e de acessibilidade que eliminem as barreiras para a plena participação destes alunos, cabendo a elas o papel de oferecer o apoio necessário para que as crianças que precisam da Educação Especial façam o percurso escolar com qualidade. A presente dissertação faz a contextualização histórica da constituição deste Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) em âmbito nacional, estadual e regional, aprofundando-se no processo de implantação das Salas de Recursos no Município de Conselheiro Lafaiete. A qualidade da oferta do AEE realizado nas Salas de Recursos se pauta na perspectiva da articulação entre o profissional responsável por esse serviço e o professor que atua na escola de origem dos alunos atendidos, uma vez que as ações desenvolvidas nas salas de recursos são adotadas como estratégias de complementação do processo de escolarização e devem, necessariamente, produzir efeitos no cotidiano escolar. A abordagem metodológica utilizada foi a pesquisa qualitativa. Utilizamos a análise documental do Projeto Político Pedagógico das escolas que possuem matrícula de alunos com deficiência e do Plano de Atendimento destes alunos na Sala de Recursos. O grupo focal foi realizado com a intenção de pesquisar as formas de interlocução entre os professores especializados e professores regentes e as principais formas de articulação existentes entre professor de Sala de Recursos e professor regente e os problemas de interação vivenciados pelos docentes de Sala de Recursos e de sala de aula. O Plano de ação prevê a construção coletiva de estratégias de interação entre os professores da sala de aula e os do atendimento especializado na Sala de Recursos.
The objective of this study is to investigate how works the articulation between the teachers of the Resource Room and the teachers of the classrooms in which students with disabilities and General Developmental Disorder are enrolled. This research is focused in the municipality of Conselheiro Lafaiete, in the Multifunctional Resource Rooms and in the schools that send their students to the specialized educational service. Based on the legal guidelines of the last two decades, SRM services have been implemented by education networks, since these legislations have assigned them an important role in the inclusion process of students with disabilities, GDD and high skills. In the discussion of Inclusive Education in the country, SRM assumed the task of identifying, elaborating and organizing pedagogical and accessibility resources which eliminate the barriers to the full participation of these students, and it is their role to offer the necessary support to children who need Special Education to make the school journey with quality. This dissertation presents the historical contextualization of the constitution of this Specialized Educational Assistance at national, state and regional level, deepening the process of implementation of the Resource Rooms in the Municipality of Conselheiro Lafaiete. The quality of the SEA offer made in the Resource Rooms is based on the perspective of the articulation between the professional responsible for this service and the teacher who works in the home school of the students served, once the actions developed in the resource rooms are adopted as strategies of complementation of the schooling process and must, necessarily, have effects in the school routine. The methodological approach used was the qualitative research. We use the documentary analysis of the Political Pedagogical Project of the schools that have enrollment of students with disabilities and the Plan of Attention of these students in the Resource Room. We conducted a focus group, with the intention of researching the forms of interaction between the specialized and the regent teachers and the main forms of articulation between the resource room teacher and the regent teacher and the interaction problems experienced by the resource room teachers and classroom. On the other hand, we understand, after the production of the data, that the alternative presented is the collective construction of interaction strategies between classroom teachers and those of the specialized assistance in the Resource Room.

This research discusses about integration of digital information and communication Technologies in the educational practices of Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA). The research sought to answer the question: How are Multifunctional Resource Rooms (MRR) teachers using digital technologies (DT) in their educational practices and what are the challenges that permeate the integration of these technologies in SEA? The main objective of this study was to investigate the practices and challenges of SEA teachers of MRR of the Municipal Public Network of São Luís - MA. Regarding the use of DT in the service of developed in the spaces. Specifically, it was intended to investigate how the uses of the digital technologies in the SEA offered in the MRR are given; Analyze the challenges faced by teachers in the use of technologies in care in these places; And to identify and to offer suggestions for continuing training for the use of DT in SEA, based on the proposals of the subjects participating in the study. The research, with a qualitative approach, adopted as means the field research, and was carried out in MRR of 15 schools of the Municipal Public Network. Data were collected through a questionnaire (25 MRR teachers) and structured interview (8 teachers, among the respondents of the questionnaire). In the analysis of the data, the content analysis was used, following the route of Bardin (2016). In view of the results obtained, it was found that the uses of DT in SEA do not occur very regularly, occur in the modality of support or support to the teaching-learning process and serve especially as a curricular and affective tool. Regarding the challenges to use, there are multiple structural barriers in MRR. In relation to the students, the difficulties are related to the lack of opportunity for the development of their abilities, those intrinsic to the Special Educational Needs (SEN), and the lack of previous knowledge about DT. Related to teachers, there is a lack of opportunity for training in the technological area and lack of mastery in the use of DT. Regarding the continuous training for the use of DT in SEA, teachers believe that these should be based on an adequate theory-practice relationship and should focus on the development of the basic skills technical and pedagogical of the technologies.
Este estudo aborda o tema da integração das tecnologias digitais da informação e comunicação nas práticas educativas do Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE). A pesquisa buscou responder à questão: como os docentes das Salas de Recursos Multifuncionais (SRM) estão usando as tecnologias digitais (TD) em suas práticas educativas e quais os desafios que permeiam a integração dessas tecnologias no AEE? Objetivou-se, com o estudo, investigar as práticas e os desafios dos docentes do AEE das SRM da rede pública municipal de São Luís - MA, no que se refere à utilização das TD no atendimento desenvolvido nesses espaços. Especificamente, pretendeu-se investigar como se dão os usos das tecnologias digitais no AEE ofertado nas SRM; analisar os desafios enfrentadas pelos docentes no tocante à utilização das tecnologias no atendimento, nesses locais; e, identificar e apresentar sugestões para uma formação continuada para o uso das TD no AEE, a partir das propostas dos sujeitos participantes do estudo. A pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa, adotou como meio a pesquisa de campo, e foi realizada em SRM de 15 escolas da rede pública municipal. A coleta de dados ocorreu com a aplicação de questionário (25 docentes das SRM), e por meio de entrevista do tipo estruturada (8 docentes, dentre os respondentes do questionário). Na análise dos dados, usou-se a análise de conteúdo, seguindo o encaminhamento de Bardin (2016). Frente aos resultados obtidos, constatou-se que os usos das TD no AEE não ocorrem com muita regularidade, acontecem na modalidade de apoio ou suporte ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem e servem especialmente como ferramenta curricular e afetiva. Referente aos desafios para o uso, verificou-se que há múltiplas barreiras estruturais nas SRM. Em relação aos alunos, as dificuldades estão ligadas à falta de oportunidade para o desenvolvimento de suas habilidades, àquelas intrínsecas às necessidades educacionais especiais (NEE), e à falta de conhecimento prévio sobre as TD. Relacionados aos professores, destacam-se a falta de oportunidade para formação continuada na área tecnológica e a falta de domínio na utilização das TD. Sobre a formação continuada para o uso das TD no AEE os docentes defendem que estas devem pautar-se na adequada relação teoria-prática e centrarem-se no desenvolvimento das habilidades básicas de domínio técnico e pedagógico das tecnologias

Les promesses d’égalité pour tous dans l’éducation au moment de la Révolution ne se réalisent pas dans les années qui suivent. La France n’a pas les moyens de mettre en œuvre une éducation à la hauteur de ses ambitions. Avec Napoléon puis le retour de la monarchie, les congrégations retrouvent la place privilégiée qu’elles occupaient sous l’Ancien Régime afin de suppléer ces manques. Les deux freins principaux à cette égalité que sont le niveau social et la différence de genre, ainsi que les solutions pour lever ces freins, sont étudiés dans cette thèse en s’appuyant sur l’exemple concret de la cité maritime de Fécamp (Seine-Maritime, France) de 1806 à 1906 où trois congrégations, les sœurs de la Providence de Rouen, les frères des écoles chrétiennes et les sœurs de Saint Vincent de Paul, se partagent l’éducation (au travers des écoles et des orphelinats) avec les maîtres ou personnels laïques
The promise of equality for all in education at the time of the Revolution will not be achieved in the following years. France does not have the means to set up education for its ambitions. With Napoleon and the return of the monarchy, the congregations find the privileged position they held under the old regime to supplement these deficiencies. The two main obstacles to equality that are socially and gender difference, and solutions to address these brakes, are studied in this thesis based on the concrete example of the maritime city of Fécamp (Seine maritime, France) from 1806 to 1906 where three congregations, the sisters of Providence of Rouen, the Christian brothers and the sisters of Saint Vincent de Paul, shared education (through schools and orphanages) with teachers and laic personnel

Portant sur les étudiants hommes de formations dites « féminines » de l’enseignement supérieur, cette thèse s’intéresse à la production de l’atypisme et aux socialisations sexuées. Elle repose sur une double étude de cas des filières sage-femme et assistance de service social dans lesquelles une enquête alliant entretiens, observations et analyses statistiques a été menée. Alors que la littérature sur les trajectoires atypiques des femmes insiste sur le rôle des dispositions, cette étude de dominants en situation de minorité numérique montre le poids des contextes. Nombre d’hommes « atypiques » ne sont pas les plus disposés à opter pour une formation « féminine » : ce sont avant tout des logiques institutionnelles, relationnelles et économiques qui encouragent ce choix, même si les schèmes d’action individuels – de classe et de genre notamment – sont aussi déterminants. Une analyse articulant ces variables révèle quatre logiques à l’origine des choix atypiques : la souplesse, l’ouverture, le pragmatisme et la stratégie. Une fois en formation, les hommes font l’objet de processus de singularisation mais sont aussi enjoints au respect d’une forte norme d’égalité des sexes. Selon les situations, on attend d’eux d’alterner entre différentes pratiques genrées, c’est-à-dire de jongler avec le « féminin » et le « masculin ». La maîtrise de cette souplesse de genre procure de nombreux bénéfices mais dont tous les hommes ne savent pas ou ne peuvent pas tirer profit. La thèse montre ainsi les fonctionnements de l’ordre du genre : elle éclaire la hiérarchie entre les sexes, mais aussi celle qui ordonne les hommes entre eux dans un contexte de valorisation de la mixité et de l’égalité
Focusing on male students in so-called “female” study paths in higher education, this thesis investigates the production of atypical trajectories and gendered socialisations. It is based on a double case study of midwifery and social work training programmes in France that combines interviews, observations and statistical analyses. While the literature on atypical trajectories of women emphasises the role of dispositions, this study of dominants in a situation of numerical minority shows the importance of contexts. Many “atypical” men are not the most disposed to opt for a “female” study path: it is above all institutional, relational, and economic logics that encourage this choice, even though individual action patterns – particularly in terms of class and gender – also play a decisive role. An analysis articulating these variables reveals four logics at the root of these atypical choices: flexibility, openness, pragmatism, and strategy. Once in training, the few men who do choose this path are subject to singularisation processes, but are also required to respect a strong norm of gender equality. Depending on the situation, they are expected to alternate between different gendered practices, i.e. to juggle with the “feminine” and the “masculine”. Mastering this gender flexibility has many benefits, but not all men know how to or can take advantage of them. This thesis thus highlights the workings of the gender order: it sheds light on the hierarchy between the sexes, but also on the hierarchy that organises men among themselves in a context of valuing diversity and equality

General lack of awareness regarding neurogenic communication disorders generally, and cognitive-communicative disorders following a traumatic brain injury (TBI) specifically has resulted in pervasive environmental and attitudinal barriers for these individuals. Paradigm shifts within the rehabilitation context have been highlighted which aim to remove barriers, provide social supports, and thereby enhance their participation in all aspects of life. While collaborative communication partner training programs have been advocated as a means to achieve this, a dearth of published programs is evident within the field of TBI, leading to the need for such programs to enhance the awareness and skill of the communication partner, and reduce barriers for the individual. Transformations are likewise apparent in the corporate context, where in spite of legislative changes encouraging diversity awareness programs for employees, few training programs exist worldwide, and in South Africa particularly, which remove barriers between employees and customers with a communication disability, and a TBI specifically. The current research targeted the retail supermarket environment as a context in which a significant number of everyday communicative exchanges take place. The study investigated the ability of a group of sales assistants to identify barriers to, and facilitators of interaction involving customers with a cognitive-communication disorder, using a control group design. This was achieved by the development and administration of 2 questionnaires on 2 different occasions to determine the confidence and skill with which they identified barriers and facilitators during videotaped sales interactions. A once-off training session was developed and conducted with the experimental group participants, in order to increase their confidence and skill in identifying barriers and facilitators of such interactions. The training session employed a number of customized components considered to be powerful contributors to the positive outcome of the study. These included: extensive use of customized video material professionally produced and comprising real interactions involving individuals with a TBI as “customers” in various stores of the participating national supermarket chain during operating hours. Collaboration with an individual with a TBI in the training, together with use of adult learning and diversity awareness principles were considered effective in shifting previous attitudes and fostering new learning. Inter-and-intra-group results on the confidence and skill constructs of the pre-and-post questionnaires were examined. All pointed consistently to the impact of the training session on the improvement demonstrated in the experimental group as compared to the control group on the post-questionnaires as compared with the pre-questionnaires. In addition all subjective training session evaluations by the experimental group participants were consistently highly rated, reflecting the active participation observed during training. The need for companies to expand their concept of customer service to include an acknowledgement of the customer with a disability is emphasized. Training programs empowering their employees to interact with greater awareness and confidence with customers with a TBI specifically will potentially facilitate deeper participation for both. The current research lays the groundwork for more in-depth research that can be generalized beyond this specific population of individuals with a communication disorder.

Artificial Intelligence through Virtual Personal Assistants is a tendency rapidly growing in the market that offers a new purchase experience for the consumer. As such, studying the impact this channel may have becomes pivotal as it may influence customer loyalty which is one of the most important concepts for competitive advantage. Previous research on the relationship between different sales channels and loyalty is vast, however, it is mainly focused on the online (e-commerce) and offline channel. Therefore, the first objective of this dissertation is to fill in this gap and try to conclude on whether there is a relationship between customer loyalty, its antecedents, satisfaction and service quality and the new technology. Also, as Virtual Assistants are still not fully available in the Portugal, the second purpose for this dissertation is providing information on both the market’s behaviour and beliefs, and their current attitude towards the technology. From the output of a questionnaire with 253 valid answers, the first purpose of the thesis was not achieved as a relationship between loyalty or the antecedents and Virtual Assistants was not found, however, it was shown that experiencing this purchase before conducting the test could drive better results. Nonetheless, it was shown that the market may not be prepared for automatic shopping and may not trust personalization features, however, they highly value purchase convenience and VPA interactivity. Lastly, a three-cluster solution was presented showing different consumer profiles that suggest that the majority of the sample is open to adopt to the technology.
Inteligência Artificial através de Assistentes Virtuais é hoje uma tendência que cresce exponencialmente no retalho e que oferece uma experiência de compra única. Sendo assim, torna-se imperativo estudar o impacto desta tecnologia, dado que, poderá influenciar a lealdade do consumidor que é um conceito importante para o atingimento de vantagem competitiva. A literatura oferece vários estudos que demonstram a relação entre a lealdade e diferentes canais de compra, no entanto, está maioritariamente focada nos canais digitais (comércio eletrónico) ou nos canais físicos. Deste modo, o primeiro objetivo desta dissertação pretende preencher o espaço na literatura e inferir se existe uma relação entre a lealdade, os seus antecedentes satisfação e qualidade de serviço e a tecnologia. Adicionalmente, como o Assistente ainda não se encontra disponível em Portugal, determinou-se um segundo objetivo para procurar informação sobre comportamento, crenças e a atual atitude do consumidor em relação à tecnologia. Dos resultados obtidos no questionário com 253 respostas válidas, não foi possível atingir o primeiro objetivo porque não foi encontrada nenhuma relação entre lealdade ou os seus antecedentes e o assistente virtual. Não obstante, foi demonstrado que experienciar a compra antes do teste poderá levar a melhores resultados e, ainda, que os atributos mais relevantes para os portugueses são a conveniência e a interatividade, mas que a compra automática e a personalização não serão favoráveis ainda. Por fim, foi apresentada uma solução de três clusters mostrando diferentes perfis de consumidor que sugerem que a maioria da amostra tem abertura para adotar a tecnologia.

The luxury employees’ roles face a gap. Previous literature examines the importance of employees’ roles in the luxury field. However, when it comes to the influence of digital roles, it was formerly studied, but not in the luxury setting. This thesis examines how digitalization influence the employees’ roles to create a luxury experience. To answer my research question, I conducted a comparative case study on four companies: Versace, Gucci, Loja das Meias and Josefinas. My findings show that employees’ roles are not only “enablers”, “innovators”, “differentiators” and “coordinators”, but also “educators”, “personal shopper” and “clienteling”. Moreover, my results show that the digital augmentation role influences “enabler”, “coordinator”, and “innovator” roles and the digital network facilitator role affects the other employees’ roles.
Os papéis dos empregados de luxo enfrentam uma lacuna. A literatura anterior examina a importância dos papéis dos empregados no campo do luxo. No entanto, quando se trata da influência dos papéis do digital, anteriormente foi estudada, mas não no âmbito do luxo. Esta tese examina como a digitalização influencia os papéis dos empregados de modo a criar uma experiência de luxo. Para responder à minha questão de pesquisa, conduzi um estudo de caso comparativo sobre empresas com diferentes modelos de negócio: Versace, Gucci, Loja das Meias e Josefinas. As minhas conclusões propõem que os papéis dos empregados não são apenas "facilitadores", "inovadores", "diferenciadores" e "coordenadores", mas também "educadores", "personal shopper" e "clienteling". Os meus resultados mostram que a função do digital de assistir os empregados influencia as funções de "facilitador", "coordenador" e "inovador". A função do digital de facilitador de interações afeta as funções dos empregados de loja.

The purpose of this research is to design and implement a sales assistant system for producers, sellers, and customers to reduce information gap between these three characters that cause by using separate system in traditional business activity. Producers can get marketing data of their products directly from this system to optimize the production scheduling, it could reduce many unnecessary cost compared with the traditional way that start manufacture when producers get orders. This system is design for mobile device, and integrate with POS (point of sale) system, sellers don't need to build hardware or software themselves, only need a mobile device to join the sales network, the data and interface in this system can also reduce cost on training sellers. For customers, they can find and get detail information of daily living aids very convenient with this system to reduce cost on aimlessly search on the web, people can share experience with other people on using daily living aids.

Kitchen industry in Taiwan is mostly consisted of small and medium scale enterprises. Their traditional business models are usually lack of innovation. Therefore, this study designed a kitchen sales system to assist the sales activities in kitchen retail store. Beside, this system will also enhance professional image of kitchen sales staff, improve customer satisfaction and increase sales volume. This study firstly collect relevant information: reference documentations, cross-industry experiences (realty industry / automobile industry), and kitchen retail store consumer’s opinions as a base for sales software design. And then implement the system in the kitchen retail store to observe customer satisfaction and the effect on the sale revenue. However, kitchen industry in Taiwan is mostly consisted of small and medium scale companies, in order to save the cost of the software establishment. Microsoft Office PowerPoint software was chosen for the system. Using photos, icons, buttons, texts to build the Tablet PC assisted sales software. There are several advantages of this method: 1. Low cost, 2. High flexibility for the modification, 3.Easy to build the content, 4.Simple operation. Based on the cross-industry experiences and kitchen retail store consumer’s opinions. The result of study is:1. Feasibility of built a sales system with limited budget, 2. Using the tablet PC with sales system as assistance during the sales activities will produce high customer satisfaction and positive effect on the revenue.

Abstract (sommario):
The United States has different methods by which it leverages its influence on allies throughout the world. Military-to-military partnerships constitute one of the most effective methods, particularly when the U.S. seeks to influence developing nations or ones that are in the midst of difficult political transitions. However, recent events demonstrate that these mil-to-mil partnerships are not as effective as they should be. This paper seeks to examine one aspect of the mil-to-mil partnership, namely sales of U.S. military equipment through the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program and the complementary Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, through which the United States provides the funding to finance said purchases. This paper argues that the United States has continually "moved the goalposts" in justifying its FMF outlays and FMS authorizations, to the effect that the United States is dependent on the continuation of the very programs that are designed to be little more than tools that allow the foreign policy establishment to influence its partners. This "strategic drift" in the mil-to-mil relationship as evidenced through the FMS/FMF program is examined in detail in Egypt, with a focus on events that have transpired since longtime President Hosni Mubarak's ouster in February 2011. The paper seeks to demonstrate that when FMS/FMF is tied to external agreements upon which the United States is dependent - whether diplomatic or military - it creates an incentive for planners in both the Departments of Defense and State to resort to self-justifying analyses bearing little resemblance to the original purpose of the FMS/FMF agreements or to the United States' legitimate national interest in a given region. Large scale reforms of the architecture of security assistance, both political and administrative, are unlikely to occur for a variety of reasons that are touched upon in the paper. By looking at the historical, political, and military aspects of security assistance more broadly, the paper argues that if the United States wants to achieve clarity on whether its security assistance programs truly serve the United States' best interests, it will need to do so at lower levels in the relative implementing agencies.
