To understand the structural damage evolution process of loess under the action of dry-wet cycles, a triaxial test of a dry-wet cycle was performed by considering three influencing factors: initial moisture content, amplitude of the dry-wet cycle, and number of dry-wet cycles. In this paper, the driving trajectories of refuse transfer truck and collector truck are tested by GPS data logger. Afterwards, the 15 characteristic values of refuse truck and 12 characteristic values of typical driving cycles are analyzed by velocity fragment characteristic value analysis. Finally, we find that if the highway cycle of C-WTVC is canceled and the ratio of velocity interval 20-60km/h is extended, this driving cycle can be used as the testing cycle of refuse transfer truck. The specific liquefaction coefficient and the coefficient of thermodynamic perfection were calculated for the following cycles: the Linde-Hampson cycle, the Claude cycle, the Heylandt Cycle, the Collins cycle, and the cycle with two expanders. The criterion for optimizing cycles is the maximum value of the liquefaction coefficient. The Claude cycle was chosen as the optimal cycle for use in the Liquid Air Energy Storage. Its exergy efficiency was calculated.
