Geological mapping of the western part of Katakwa sheet 228NE in Toto Local Government of Nassarawa State has been done. Major rock units in the area are quartzites , marble, phyllite, mica, schist and banded iron formation(BIF). Structures identified include; foliations, joints, faults, folds and microfolds.
