The purpose of this doctoral dissertation was to examine the life skills transfer process from sport to life. Data collection occurred over 10-months, from September 2016 to June 2017. The overall sample was comprised of 13 university intramural athletes and 29 social agents playing key roles in the athletes’ lives outside of sport (e.g., parents, partners, and work colleagues). Individual semi-structured interviews were conducted with 22 individuals (12 females, 10 males) between the ages of 18-56. <p> The purpose of this exploratory study was to examine youth football coaches and their knowledge of, and attitudes towards, sport concussions. Coaches (<i>n</i> = 103) were recruited from several Pop Warner leagues from a large Western state to complete the Rosenbaum Concussion Knowledge and Attitudes Survey. Coaches ranged from 25-75 years of age and were coaching youth athletes ranging from 6-14 years of age. Results indicated that coaches’ knowledge and attitudes of concussions were highly favorable.
