The replacement of CdS-based buffer layer in Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells has been one of the main challenges of the research community for the last decade. Today, one of the most promising alternative material is the chemically bath deposited Zn(S,O,OH). Because of its low deposition rate and of metastable behavior, it becomes necessary to proceed to an optimization of experimental conditions and of the various interfaces. The first part of this work has been dedicated to the optimization of the deposition bath thanks to the introduction of new additives. It has been possible to underline the additive effects on both the deposition rate and on the chemical composition of the deposited layers. The second part of this work has been dedicated to the optimization of the (Zn,Mg)O/ZnO:Al window layer. Thanks to an improvement of the sputtering conditions, it has been possible to reduce metastability of the solar cells, and to limit sodium migration up to the Zn(S,O,OH) layer. These optimized conditions combined to the variation of the CIGSe surface composition have allowed us to outperform CdS-based references solar cells

Thin film photovoltaic cells based on CIGS and CZTS materials has been initiated in this work. Environmental and economic issues have been taken into account to define an original strategy. We aim to substitute all the toxic and rare materials by abundant and non-toxic materials. In order to simplify the fabrication process, we also decide to deposit all layers using sputtering technique. The molybdenum back contact has been developed on a soda lime glass (SLG) substrate, with adequate electrical properties and good adhesion to the substrate even after thermal treatments similar to those used during the absorber formation. We have verified the required sodium migration from the SLG substrate to the molybdenum surface. A bibliographic study has been done to evaluate a single-target sputtering method to form CIGS and CZTS films. CZTS thin film deposition from a single target has been studied, with unsatisfactory results. We finally suggest an original multi-target method. Then, a bibliographic study has been done to evaluate the relevance of a sputtered Zn(S,O) buffer layer to replace the CBD-CdS conventional buffer layer. A study of RF-sputtered AZO films has been carried out, but we didn’t obtain the required electrical conductivity. We finally study RF-sputtering of ITO films. We developed amorphous ITO thin films with excellent electrical and optical properties. We suggest using this material as the window layer of solar cells

Tramadol hydrochloride is a centrally acting analgesic with two chiral centers; the cis isomer is the active drug and the trans isomer is a process impurity. Both enantiomers of cis-tramadol hydrochloride contribute to the analgesic effect through different, but complementary and interactive pharmacological mechanisms. Although both isomers of cis-tramadol hydrochloride show therapeutic effects, the presence of impurities, originated from the synthesis process or due to degradation, can compromise the quality of the marketed product. The aim of this present work was the development and validation of a stereosselective methodology for the analysis of the drug cis-tramadol hydrochloride and the possible chiral or non-chiral impurities in raw materials and pharmaceutical formulations. The separation and quantitation of cis-tramadol enantiomers and the impurities trans-tramadol, 1,2-olefin and 1,6-olefin were carried out using a Chiralcel® OD-H column, mobile phase of hexane (60% and 100% of n-hexane, 1:1, v/v):2-propanol:diethylamine:trifluoroacetic acid (99,5:0,5:0,3:0,1, v/v/v/v) at a flow rate of 0,7 mL min-1 and detection at 274 nm. For the separation and quantitation of the impurities O-desmethyltramadol, N-desmethyltramadol and tramadol N-oxide, a Chiralpak® AD column was used with a mobile phase of hexane (60% of n-hexane):ethanol absolute: diethylamine (95:5:0,1, v/v/v) at a flow rate of 1,0 mL min-1 and detection at 228 nm. The methods were validated using the parameters selectivity, linearity, precision, accuracy, range, detection limit and quantitation limit. The results obtained show that the methods are suitable for the analysis of cis-tramadol and its impurities in raw material and pharmaceutical formulation.
