From the perspective of features, this paper conducts an empirical study to examine L1 Russian L2 Chinese Speakers’ acquisition of the Chinese conjunction hé. Specifically, the result shows that the vitality of an extraneous feature decreases until learners’ language proficiency reaches an intermediate level.
