Starting from Kirchhoff's equation for each mesoscopic coupled circuit, we investigated the quantum fluctuations of a dissipative mesoscopic capacitance–resistance–inductance coupled circuit using canonical transformation and unitary transformation. It is shown that the quantum fluctuations of charges and currents are not only related to the parameters of components in the self-circuit and coupled part, but also influenced by the parameters of other circuit. The uncertainty relations of the charges and currents are analyzed briefly.

The Hamiltonian of a flexible purely inductive quantum circuits, with discrete charge (qe), coupled to the vibrational degrees of a lattice (phonons) is presented. In the static regime, when the inductance is threaded by an external fixed magnetic flux, the usual periodic behavior in the persistent electrical current (frequency qe/ℏ) becomes altered. A new harmonic appears which is twice that of the fundamental (2qe/ℏ). All this is the consequence of the geometric static deformation in the inductance produced by the persistent electrical current itself (Lorentz force).
