One of the most important criteria for ensuring the safe operation of the facility and increasing its durability is its reliability. Ensuring the safe operation of pipelines is in many ways a problem of increasing their reliability and durability and seems to be a complex task, which includes solving technical and technological, as well as economic and organizational aspects. To date, emergencies related to the rupture and damage to steel pipelines because of their operational wear and exposure to external factors are still the most frequent cause of accidents in the oil field.
