Hadj, Abdelkader Mohammed Amine. „Interfaces haptiques en tâches de contrôle pour personnes handicapées moteurs“. Thesis, Metz, 2011. http://www.theses.fr/2011METZ028S/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis work lies within the general framework of the driving assistance for people with motor disabilities and proposes to address this issue experimentally on a real system, with emphasis on the optimization of the human–machine cooperation. The objective of this thesis consists especially in the implementation and the assessment of a haptic interface for the control of a powered wheelchair for people with motor disabilities. The interfaces used for this purpose are the force feedback joystick sidewinder2™ and the haptic device phantom omni™. Moreover, the use of a laser range sensor allows gathering information about the wheelchair environment. We use ergonomic efficiency measures such as the tasks execution time, the errors and the workload in order to establish criteria for evaluating our system. The methodology and the practical aspects of this study are exposed, justified and discussed based particularly on the research work described in the literature about the use of haptic interfaces to control robotic and / or remote controlled systems. The evaluation of such a system aims to compare the driving performance of a powered wheelchair controlled by a force feedback device compared to a conventional control. The results are statistically analyzed. A theoretical study is also proposed based on the modelling of the driver-vehicle system and conclusions about the validity and relevance of the tested models are presented
Aich, Ali. „Reconnaissance et prédiction de situations dynamiques : application à l'assistance de personnes handicapées moteurs“. Troyes, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007TROY0017.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleOur study reports on the problem of dynamic situations processing (recognition, prediction and learning) evolving in a complex and unknown environment. This study is mainly applied in the mobile robotic field. The objective is to discharge the user from the constraints of the wheelchair control by assisting him in the reproduction of routes frequently employed. The reproduction of a route already carried out requires the recognition of the new route employed. In general the recognition of this type of situations is based on two principal approaches : a recognition based on one of several models or a recognition by re-use of experiments in the field of the case-based reasoning. We have proposed during this thesis two approaches of route recognition. In the first approach, the recognition of a new route is based on Petri nets. In the second approach, the route recognition is based on similarity evaluation between the new taken route and those already carried out. Petri nets elaboration requires in general knowledge of the domain. The difficulty is that we don’t have models of routes description because on one hand we don’t use the environment maps and on the other hand it is impossible to predict from the beginning of a new displacement directions to be followed and behaviors to be carried out by the wheelchair. Hence, we have started with an initial learning. This steps corresponds to the environment exploration where a set of routes are taken for every displacement. The routes taken during the initial learning are then classified in order to compute a representative for every set of routes carried out for the same displacement. The last step of the proposed reasoning consists in modeling each each by a Petri net. The models are used during the new route recognition in order to predict the future wheelchair behaviors. In the first proposed approach, the route recognition is based on Petri nets. The new route learning is carried out only during the environment exploration. Models don’t evolve because the new not recognized routes are not taken into account. Hence, a new approach has been proposed during the second part of our work. In this approach, the new route recognition is based on a similarity evaluation between the new taken route and those already carried out. An algorithm of automatic learning of new routes is proposed so that they are used during the future reasonings. A strategy of memory maintenance is also proposed allowing the improvement of the system performances

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis study deals with the progress of protection by the state of handicapped children-and notably of physically handicapped children-from roman times to the present day and highlights the forces that have shaped this evolution. The study only takes into account the legislation in england and wates. The first part shows the growind interest of the government for these children and the forms it took: first in matters of social aid, then from the end of the 19th century in the form of schooling, thus following the development of free state education. The second part deals with the education of handicapped children from the mid 19th century to the present day. The major issue is the integration of these children into ordinary schools and the means that have been used over the last thirty years to achieve that aim, taking into account both the evolution of society and the nature of the handicaps the bird part deals with the financial aid granted by the state to the familles of handicapped children;it analyses the events that led to the acknowledgement by the state of the greater needs of these families and the forms of the aid. An account is given of state aid today. The conclusion reviews the various forces that will shape the life of handicapped children in the 1990s: european organisations 'ec oecd)and associations of handicapped people
Al, Faraj Khaldoun. „Interaction gestuelle pour la saisie de texte en situation de handicaps“. Toulouse 3, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010TOU30070.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleDThe research works presented in this thesis relate to analysis, design, development and evaluation of text input methods for small screen, usable in various interaction situations and for different user profiles. Firstly, we proposed a new gestural interaction based method taking into account gesture planning, message encoding strategy and underlying linguistic codes. As part of design for all, we adapted our proposal for people with motor disabilities. Secondly, we proposed two techniques for an optimized text entry with interface based keys in order to improve key selection. One corresponds to "linguistic zoom" offering the keys likely to be selected at the next entry. The second solution is a "semantic zoom" taking into account the cursor position of pointing device, the space layer and the content layer of entry interface based keys. We finally proposed an interaction technique, outside the scope of conventional GUIs. This solution is to augment the interaction interface by third dimension, allowing to reduce the distance travelled by pointing device and to increase target size at the same time

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleStarting from Roger Dorey's point of view, deiîning the mastery as a way to deny alterity by attempting to destroy the other 's wish, we aim to analyze the relationship between the physically handicapped child and the caring adult, in a rehabilitation institution. Among our hypotheses, we favor the idea that the child dependence and the intensive medical and physiotherapeutic managements in institution are particularly prone to induce mastery in the relationship. We will investigate the implications of the child wish of mastery of the other and his wish to escape from mastery during repeated rehabilitation, care, therapeutic and educational sessions. We mainly place ourselves on the child side by analyzing material from clinical sessions. But we will also take into account the counter-transference experience of the therapist. This will allow us to investigate the importance of the therapist wish of mastery during therapy, particularly in view of the idealization of his therapeutic role. First, we will analyze to what extent the instinct to master is driven by the wish to establish a delusive fusion relationship, corresponding to primary homosexuality. We will then analyze the role of mastery in the child oedipean organization, particularly with regard to rivalry and castration anxiety. Finally, we will consider the possibility that both the search for and the submission to mastery may be manifestations of death instinct
Kadmiri, Majda. „Intégration des handicapés physiques par le sport au Maroc et en France : étude comparative Maroc-France: cas de handicapés moteurs“. Amiens, 2011. http://www.theses.fr/2011AMIE0026.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThroughout this research which falls within the framework of an intercultural dimension, as far as it has for ground of observation the Moroccan and French societies, we tried to verify if, on one hand, the physically handicapped persons, as a cultural strength and full citizens, had their place in society and, on the other hand, how the agents of socialization and the socioeconomic and cultural actors, can play a leading role, through sport and the various related activities, in the promotion of the creative potential of the disabled people, both morally, materially and culturally in the present context of globalization. Finally, this comparative study is led in two culturally different, but complementary countries: Morocco, a country of North Africa where we can find cultures and faiths that forge specific social representations of the handicaps, and France, a country of Western Europe. The study adopts both diachronic and synchronic approachs in the explanation of the sense of the physically handicapped people's social integration, of social representations of the handicap, of sport culture and the numerous challenges with which these persons are confronted today

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn this report you'll first find the goals and specific characteristics of the V. A. H. M. Project. This project meets the needs of motor impaired people as far as aid for navigation is concerned. Indeed it's very difficult, not to say impossible for some motor impaired people to pilot usual wheelchair because of ill-suited sensors, because motor impaired people get tired very quickly. . . . Our studies are mainly based on the importance of the man/machine cooperation. Furthermore we have defined a online evaluation method of the man/machine system which won't impede the pilot of the wheelchair. This method is based on the calculation of evaluation criteria including the robot technical capacities as well as physical and mental elements of the pilot workload, an essential notion to evaluate the man/machine system. We obtained these criteria from spy files recorded during tests made on able-bodied people. Finally our studies underline the usefulness of helping navigation for impaired people, using the qualitative and quantitative observations we made during the first clinical evaluation of the V. A. H. M. . From then on we started thinking of a way to create a module to help the wheelchair user to choose the best control mode of the mobile base according to the environment and the man/machine system

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe purpose of the thesis is to put forward a new theoretical framework to study how the teenagers affected by duchenne muscular dystrophy succeed in learning how to represent space. Actually the works listed by the author rely upon the results of these subjects submitted to standard tests in order to conclude that they are inferior. Then the interpretation is based on the lack of motive action. Yet the evolution of the interests for the procedures or for the different processes as well as the theory of the representation by g. Vergnaud help to lay down the problems differently. Following some subjects over four years, comparing the results and the processes show that the most handicapped children with muscular dystrophy are superior to their peers and to the able-bodied of the same age. The perception and activity of mental pictures favour the recognition of the necessary elements to achieve the task. The act is thus the result of a work of representation. The author proposes an analytical grid which helps to figure out the interactions between the means to catch information and to control, thinking and the help to learning. The thesis brings a better knowledge of these subjects and a new clarification regarding the act of representation to the scientific community
Charbonnier, Pascal. „Le rapport au handicap physique : la question des « pourquoi ? »“. Nantes, 2011. http://www.theses.fr/2011NANT3010.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleI have devoted my research to the situation of disabled people, to the consequences on their personal construction and social integration when a disability occurs. When confronted to physical disability, our society responds in terms of means. It raises questions. One of them prevails: “How?”: How to allow the person to develop himself? How to allow that person to be and to do like everybody? What is the person able to do? This approach comes forward with a principle of equality. However, a disability leaves the individual in a situation of liminality, as regards normality, which appears to be a gap. Because of that gap, that is to say: “being in between”, a disabled person faces the question of the origin: Why this disability? Why me? How to be and what to do? Thus, this confrontation will favour either interiority or exteriority for the disabled person who is looking for an answer to the cause of his situation. Whatever the attitude adopted due to his disability, the person has to find a position in that gap created by the handicap, to name it as regards the norm so as to be able to interact socially and to have his own space. To tackle the issue of disabled people, we have to ask ourselves what we are aiming to from a social or individual point of view

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe use of rorschach and t. A. T psychological tests enables to compare four groups of children and adolescents, aged from seven tonineteen, suffering permanent or temporary impaired walking : walking is imposible or difficult. If some erogeneous zones are defective, what will be the impact on the psychological development ? two groups suffering congenital diseases, potentially lethal or not - spine malformation, muscular or neurolmogical dystrophy, bone fragility, short lower limb - are compared with two groups suffering acquired diseases - osteosarcoms and impaired joints. The earlier is the stroke, and the more numerous the body parts impaired, the lesser are the mentalization capacities - capacities of regression, projection and fantasy. They are related to the familly investment. When the results of the projective tests are very poor and not correlated with the result in school, there exist and essential depression - i. E. Not mentalized - due to the type of disease, to the length of the treatment, and or to the absence of family support. A discussion about the formation of narcissism and the notion of interdiction leads to proposals concerning psychotherapy

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe main problem with the scanning systems is that the communication process tends to be exceedingly slow. One way of raising the speed of message selection is to optimise the elementary scanning delay in real time. Our method of work in this objective is based on an analysis of the data recorded in « log files » while applying EDiTH, the system of communication and control of the multimedia environment developed in our laboratory. This analysis makes it possible to develop a human-machine interaction model specific to the study based on the « Model Human Processor » (MHP), and then to establish an adaptive algorithm for the calculation of the scanning delay: the « anticipations / errors algorithm ». We validate our work based on the results obtained in imposed scenarios with persons with and without disability, and then in ecological situation with people with disabilities

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe work of this thesis deals with localization mode developed within the VAHM project framework (Autonomous Vehicle for Disabled People). The procedure is realized in moving and uses odometric, ultrasonic and vision sensors. Firstly ultrasonic measurements make it possible to adjust the odometric position by using the method of least squares. Then vision allows to adjust the orientation of the vehicle by determining the angle of sight of the known characteristics of the environment. We detail the implemented structures to record the data and the algorithms developed for their treatment. Several series of tests are carried out in simulation and real conditions which make it possible to establish the possibilities of obtaining the performances sought in the context of the project to knowing an error of position lower than 5 cm and an error of orientation lower than 3 deg

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis presented research is primarily descriptive and interpretative. It initiates the study of handicaps in Gabon (13 000 individuals, 47 % of spastic handicaps, 24 % of defective visual ones and 10 % of auditory deficiencies). A global approach, by a method of discussion with retrospective investigation, is carried out on the three groups of handicaps and is crossed with that on the valid people. The topics approached inform about the concerns, projections in the world, the contents symbolic system, personal ans general perceptions of handicaps. It puts in prospect the levels for assumption of responsibility family, community, official and their methods of management ans accompaniment of deficiences. The discursive clinical analysis of the cases illustrates personal situations of interaction physical, human, technical, medical and metaphysical. It reveals the congruence of objective expectations (remunerated work, education, schooling, orgnanic solidarity. . . ) and subjective expectations (desire of recognition ans social standardization, actualization of the relation in love. . . ) of handicapped people and the Gabonese global society

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe law of 11 February 2005 enables a change about the way we perceive disability. Alike for models and definitions development, the associations of People With Disabilties (PWD) keep fighting for accessibility for all of them. It’s within this context that our researches claim the benefits of innovating design integrating the needs of these users that indutrials consider as a niche market. As PWD are approximately 50 millions European people worth, can this market be still considered as a niche one? The analysis of the assistive technologies market points up a full scope for an innovation process focused on PWD needs in order to overcome existing lacks. To define the characteristics and the needs of these target users requires to understand and characterize what creates a disability situation. Some PWD specific needs are already at the root of inventions and technological advances used by a majority of people today (e. G. Remote control, mixer taps, voice recognition, etc. ). We’ll try to demonstrate through experiments leaded in partnership with the French Neuromuscular Diseases Association that knowledge of target users needs can be considered as a potential source of innovation for everybody

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWith the purpose of an internal comparison concerning the motor handicap, the Rorschach test applied, according to J. Exner's comprehensive system, to a group of patients whose disability derives both from a physical trauma (exogenous) and from an internal somatic dysfunction (endogenous), shows on one side difficult mental working a frequent depression index, a strange living of human experience, and a sense of rupture. On the other side, we observe, a more furious internal rage for exogenous group, difficulty to integrate the emotional aspects, a more frequent use of abstraction and the loss of self-esteem, always for the exogenous. These general results will enable us to discuss the concept of dissociation. We after focus on motion mental images. Bett's shorter questionnaire mentions the failure of some patients confro9nted with kinesthetic solicitation. Besides the mental motion representation may have a defensive value. The results of Rorschach tests suggested in this connection: (i) the absence of "m" responses in inversely proportional to the intensity of anxiety,(ii) the "m"< in so far as they represent a process of devitalisation, can support the processes of perceptive apprehension. Furthermore, when we examine the variable "traumatic dream", chosen for its pathognomonic character, on realizes always through the Rorschach test, that the dream of anguish thoroughly confirmed by this perceptive-projective test, is not free for mental working. This result preserves all its importance in the psychotherapic perspectives; perspectives which will be evaluated in a second study

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThree non vocal cerebral palsied children, aged 9 to 13 have been observed during a period of four years. The approach is mainly cognitivist, developmental and constructivist. The author develops her analysis with reference to the frameworks developed by Fuson, Steffe, Greco and Vergnaud about numerical schemes. These three case-studies show with some detail how each child has developed his own numerical competences and how he has modified them when being faced with problem solving situations over a period of four years. Each subject's competences are analysed in terms of "theorems-in-action" Vergnaud, 1987). The activities analysed are rather diverse : reading and writing numbers, counting and comparising collections of objects, quantifying the order relationship, recognising parity, solving addition and subtraction problems. The personal knowledge of each subject follows an original way ; its description makes it possible to give account of the differences observed, as time goes, from one scheme to the next for each of the three children. When one goes from the context of collections to the context of time (durations, ages, positions. . . ), the functioning of the schemes for addition and subtraction problems is very coherent. Finally the part of the context and the graphic representations is analysed : diagrams tables, mathematical symbols, non verbal communication codes the didactical approach of learning the concept of number and reasonings is relevant for non vocal cerebral palsied children. Several situations in which they have to act and communicate are presented

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleSince the beginning of the 19th Century, the treatment of those with disabilities has truly entered the public sphere. In the space of a few years it has become a fixture in the media and an unavoidable topic for political and legal debates. Law n°2005-102 which came into effect on 11th February 2005, established equal rights and opportunities for people with disabilities and redefined the framework for public action. For this, the legal system has made use of some innovative initiatives. The new objective of the legal system is the creation of an inclusive society and the basis of this transformation is an approach centred on the principles of compensation and accessibility. This renewal is not the only factor transforming the Law. To justify this change, the principle of equality must mutate and rejuvenate. The legal axioms (or foundations) that are the principles of dignity and fraternity, find a privileged space in which to extend - confidentially - their implementation

The problem is to decrease the covered distance (with the pointer of the pointing device) for keyboarding. This work suggests two optimizations: a) application of the genetic algorithms to optimize the character layout on soft keyboard; b) the KeyGlass system which proposes additional characters (thanks to systems of character prediction) near to the last character tapped. To be able to evaluate the contribution of the optimizations carried out and their usability, we designed the evaluation platform E-Assiste which aims to fill a lack of corpus of tests and environments of evaluation and to allow the study of the uses of our systems in situ

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMentally-handicapped adults, like any other human beings, develop amorous sentiments and therefore, are entitled to an emotional, intimate and sexual life.In institution (living space), brain-damaged adults are often dependent on social representations which built them, of those of caregivers who cared them, or still of those of caregivers-loving-accompanying and families which accompanying them. This research tried to target the central cores and peripheral elements of all these social representations, by means of the “free association” and the “emotional cards”, to estimate for all actors, the possible progress regarding acceptance, and consequently accompaniment of intimacy and sexuality about institutionalized mentally-handicapped adults.Brain-damaged adults (acquired handicap) and people with mental disabilities (congenital handicap) were the main protagonists of this research. The results show that according to the type of handicap (acquired or congenital), the caregivers’ posture is almost the same; that of the resident differ themselves slightly; as for that some caregivers-loving-accompanying and families are radically different: people with congenital disabilities do not create an intimate imagination and/or sexual from them, to their mentally-handicapped adult. What perspectives for the implementation of an education for the sexual health for these cerebral disabled people? What sort of companying for privacy and sexual life in institution?

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleHow do young people who are physically handicapped manage with and within their school? Through a series of "portraits" which could seem unique, we have observed that, in general, children and young people who are "handicapped" create a life which is centered around their "handicap" and this introduces a special relationship with objects of knowledge and with knowledge itself. In any case, when they enter school, they are confronted in the same way as all students with the logistical and practical problems of the institution, while still remaining different from the others. The specific focus of our thesis resides in the understanding of the processes which take place during this school inclusion, from the perspective of the student, without being totally subjective. We will present what we have identified as being their motives for learning and their relationship to knowledge. We will show the connections between transformation and elaboration of the self in the description and explanation of various mediations
Many people are living with neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy, stroke, muscular dystrophy or dystonia, that affect the control of upper limb movement. These motor disorders can be involuntary contractions, spasmodic movement or tremors. These disorders limit in the accomplishment of several tasks of daily life. Technical aids can then be used to facilitate movement, to compensate for a lack of muscle tone or to allow the manipulation of objects. In particular, assistive devices are designed for people with upper limb movement disorders to eat autonomously. Several factors limit the use of current assistive devices, such as their high price or high complexity. The aim of this thesis is the development of a new eating aid for people with upper limbs motor disorders. The hypothesis is that the use of the eating assistance developed will improve the ability of people with movement disorders to eat autonomously. This assistance would increase user involvement while reducing the workload of the caregiver. Two assistive prototypes have been developed : a passive version and an active version. The passive version consists of a bar assembly that maintains the constant orientation of the utensil and mechanically dampens involuntary movements. An active version was then developed, where actuators replace the mechanical dampers, in order to offer a more intellignent assistance.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe work described in this thesis relates to the development of a manipulator mounted on an electric wheelchair. This document presents the different aspects studied during the achievement of teletheses, and more broadly during the achievement of cooperative robots. Avery special care is brought to problems relating to the operator's safety. This problem is divided into two sub-problems : the overahh reliability of the system and the collision avoidance. From this last point a new approach to collision avoidances is proposed/ "the randomized generation of trajectory in real time with restraining environment", which allows the operator to work in a non structured world. This method gives satisfaying results with some reservations and is compatible with an on line generation of trajectories

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research is about children severely and precociously wounded in their somato-psychic integrity. Our main thesis is that a work of perlaboration can be done with these children and their parents. A review of the theoretical bases that underlie the themes of memory and trauma, from freud's texts, examines some concepts : trauma, presentation, splitting, repetition, transfer. . . Analysing cures and clinical writings enables to identify the paths that are taken to attempt to bring back to lie or to set in motion the subject's representative ability. Figures of inscription of the trauma in the subject's psychic life are manifold : from an accompaniment in an analytical silence to an achieved symbolization process, through the weaving of the thread of the representative abilities. The point is to inscribe the subject in a temporality, a task which sollicitates strongly the therapist's symbolic function

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe elaboration of the parenting complex accounts first of all for the way in which men and women succeed in reorganizing their social life with to the existence of their child, secondly y for the different modes of identification that they attribute to the in the course of his upbringing and finally for the links between these fathers and mothers and those working in the field of education (teachers, educators, possibly doctors and health professionals). Being the parent of a physically disabled child results in a narcissistic trauma whose consequences are examined by this study in relation to the three dynamics outlined above. The positions of nine fathers and twenty three mothers of physically disabled children, five of whom also suffer from mental deficiency are identified and described in relation to these three dynamics. These positions are analyzed according to the mode of narcissistic identification when they appear to be determined by the suffering of the parent or according to the secondary personalizing identification mode when they appear to be determined by the recognition of the child as a subject, a subject who suffers a subject with abilities and limitations

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIntroduction: Children living with a motor impairment tend to have fewer opportunities to play. Thus, parents have a pivotal role in the exploration and facilitation of playfulness for these children. Hence, there is a need to describe how parents and their children living with a motor impairment, experience playful co-occupations. Objectives: This study aims to explore playful co-occupations, as experienced by parents of preschoolers living with a motor impairment, and situating how these co-occupations occur. Methods: Through a hermeneutical phenomenological design, six parents of children living with a motor impairment shared the meaning and their experiences of playful co-occupations. Data collection consisted of two semi-structured interviews and participative observations of the parent-child interactions in the participants' home environment. Analysis consisted of an interpretative analysis of interviews' and observations' data. Analysis was done through open coding, elaboration of successive syntheses and the use of hermeneutic circle principle to capture the essence of the experiences. Playful co-occupations rest on scripts co-constructed by the parent-child transaction. These evolutive scripts are freely and naturally co-created. Playful co-occupations transform participants' daily lives into precious moments for the parent and the child. These co-occupations allow the dyad to experience moments of normalcy. The context is decisive for the manifestation of playful co-occupations. Results suggest that recommended exercises presented as ‘playful' activities and integrated into the daily life, jeopardize playful co-occupations. Conclusion: Playful co-occupations are meaningful in the daily life of the parent and his child. The results of the study invite research and clinical intervention to recognize playful co-occupations' value by seeking to preserve and facilitate them.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleContext : Adolescence is a period of physical, psychological and relational changes. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the words of motor deficient adolescents, to find out whether motor deficiency has consequences for this process. It also enquires into the question of depression during this period. Method : 1/ Six adolescents met during : a/ a semi-directive interview ; the DPI (Perron 1969), projection bearing on the development of self-image ; the MDI-C (Castro, 1999), Major Depression Inventory. 2/ A psychotherapeutic case study followed over a period of time. Results : These youngster have difficulties expressing whah they live. Some of them are obviously into the process of adolescence and have found ways of by-passing some of the impediments due to their disability ; while others remain in a more childlike approach, either on the intrapsychological or relational level. The links with the family and the relational network outside the family are very limited and play a main part in the development of this process. The life in an institution can hamper the development of diversified relationships which are so important in adolescence. If depressive affects are detected, they are in keeping with an « ordinary » adolescent process. Discussion : The methology used was interesting but its limits have been identified and discussed. The results lead to an interpretation allowing an outline of what can encourage or hamper 1/ the good development of the process and 2/ the acknowledgement of depressive elements, when they occur. The theses shows the necessity to take more into account the intraspychological life of these adolescents, to detect their resources to help them and better take into account their psychological pains

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe research analyses expectations and representations of school by parents of children with cerebral palsy. It is based on the realization of the first institution for children with C. P. In Israel. The changes of approaching the handicap during the last century have been considered, as well as the parent-child and the parent-professional relationship. The aggressive behavior of the parents is due to narcissism and grieving about the "ideal child" expected before his birth, but they are also involved in activities for the handicapped. The clinical analysis is based on interviews with four groups, each one of seven persons, (parents of senior pupils, of teenagers, of young children and members of the staff. ) it shows an ambivalence of survalorisation and critics of school which ought to repair, to compensate, to normalize and to de-dramatize the handicap. School is the child's "second home" or a "hothouse", it is an omnipresent and omnipotent "alma mater" nourishing mother), it supports the parent and protects him against his fear of the future and of death

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleEach person is likely to live an accident involving a deep change of her body. This dreaded situation does not always arrive only at the others. Among the people who do not leave unscathed of their accident, some are touched by an irreversible motor deficiency, which can take the form of a paralysis or an amputation of one or more members of their body. These people make the experiment of the motor disability. This destabilizing experiment cannot be reduced with its only body dimension. It implies, for the individual, to have to compose with an institutional period (at the hospital, then in a center or a unit of rehabilitation and readjustment, during several months, even years), to reformulate his existence, like rebuilding his marital relation. Hardly studied in the field of the sociology of the couple or the sociology of the disability, the marital dimension of the experiment of the motor disability makes it possible to seize at the same time the dynamics of the marital relation and the capacity of this relation to attenuate a durable and destabilizing test for the individual having a motor deficiency. Starting from interviews carried out near women and men confronted with a motor deficiency (hemiplegia, paraplegia, tetraplegia, amputation) for a few years, this thesis has proposed, on the one hand, to analyze the ways in which these individuals (re)build their experiment of the motor disability with their spouse and, on the other hand, of seizing the consequences of the appearance of motor deficiency on their marital relation
