Um modo de atingir o sucesso no gerenciamento de riscos de um projeto de <em>software</em> dá-se a partir da adoção das recomendações presentes nos modelos de qualidades de <em>software</em>. Este trabalho tem como objetivo propor boas práticas no tratamento de riscos por meio do mapeamento dos principais modelos de qualidade estudados em trabalhos semelhantes (MR-MPS-SW, CMMI-Dev, PMBoK, ISO/IEC 12207 e ISO/IEC 16085), definindo, assim, um modelo de processo que agregue as melhores recomendações presentes nos padrões internacionais.

El proceso de verificación y validación (V&V) aborda todas las etapas del ciclo de vida del software de manera determinante, siendo utilizado para establecer si determinada tarea o producto, cumple con las necesidades del usuario y los requisitos establecidos para su desarrollo. V&V apoya al proceso de construcción proporcionando una valoración objetiva de los productos y los procesos que forman parte del ciclo de vida de desarrollo del software. Estos procesos se apalancan en estándares como ISO/EEC 15288:2008 e ISO/EEC 12207:2008 que permiten aportar al software el concepto de calidad, estableciendo si los requisitos son correctos, completos, precisos, consistentes y verificables. Las pruebas son parte de un proceso más amplio de verificación y validación de software V&V, y se soporta en los estándares IEEE1008 e ISO / IEC 29119. Las pruebas de software nacen por la necesidad de garantizar un producto de calidad, descubriendo defectos que podrían contener los programas antes de la implantación, y demostrar que un programa hace lo que se pretende que haga. El artículo busca diferenciar entre conceptos de Verificación, Validación y Pruebas, su tiempo de aplicabilidad en las diferentes fases del desarrollo de un software de calidad, y los diferentes estándares que pueden ser aplicados en función de estos conceptos.

En la actualidad las empresas de software son parte de un sector económico importante a nivel mundial, debido a que cada día son más lucrativas y bien remuneradas, generando transformaciones significativas a nivel social y económico, de la misma manera con el progreso de las empresas y la administración del conocimiento; En la actualidad las empresas de software son parte de un sector económico importante a nivel mundial, debido a que cada día son más lucrativas y bien remuneradas, generando transformaciones significativas a nivel social y económico, de la misma manera con el progreso de las empresas y la administración del conocimiento; para lograr obtener un software de calidad, implica la utilización de metodologías agiles, o modelos estandarizados internacionales de calidad ISO para el análisis, diseño, programación y pruebas de software que permitan unificarla filosofía de trabajo, en aras de lograr una mayor “confiabilidad, mantenibilidad y análisis”, a la vez que elevan la productividad, tanto para la labor de desarrollo como para el control de la calidad del software; en esta investigación se realiza un estudio de las últimas publicaciones científicas y bibliográficas como: Estándares, políticas, metodologías o procedimientos para el análisis, diseño, desarrolló, programación y pruebas de control de software establecidas para su elaboración, como se evidencia en este artículo; las política establecidas para su elaboración esta relacionadas con la definición de estándares, para desarrollar software competitivo en el ámbito regional e internacional se requiere estar conectado a los sistemas de certificación ISO/IEC 12207,, ISO/IEC 15504 SPICE ,ISO/IEC 14598 y ISO 25000, esto para considerar si una empresa es madura. Como resultado Colombia podría ser uno de los intérpretes de la nueva economía digital, mediante acciones coordinadas, si se consolida el concepto de calidad de software para convertirse en exportador de este servicio, para desarrollar software competitivo en el ámbito internacional se requiere estar conectado a los sistemas de certificación, esto porque hoy es considerada una industria pobremente madura que desde algunos puntos de vista se parece a “una artesanía más que a una industria”

The popularity of cloud computing has made cloud services gradually become the leading computing model nowadays. The trustworthiness of cloud services depends mainly on construction processes. The trustworthiness measurement of cloud service construction processes (CSCPs) is crucial for cloud service developers. It can help to find out the causes of failures and to improve the development process, thereby ensuring the quality of cloud service. Herein, firstly, a trustworthiness hierarchy model of CSCP was proposed, and the influential factors of the processes were identified following the international standard ISO/IEC 12207 of the software development process.Further, a method was developed combined with the theory of information entropy and the concept of trustworthiness. It aimed to calculate the risk uncertainty and risk loss expectation affecting trustworthiness. Also, the trustworthiness of cloud service and its main construction processes were calculated. Finally, the feasibility of the measurement method were verified through a case study, and through comparing with AHP and CMM/CMMI methods, the advantages of this method were embodied.

Behavior can sometimes be observed directly, and can also be affected by the presence of human observers. Technological devices have strongly advanced our understanding of certain aspects of animal behavior, and the small cameras borne in a straight line by study animals offer a reliable alternative to direct observation. One possible way to make animal welfare assessments easier and faster could be the application of audio and video data analysis. In this research, the main goal is to reach the requirements determination, and the construction to build a concurrent alternative to CCTV software based on new proprietary software, developed in Matlab® language, to record and capture video sequences in digital memory hardware. The proposed software stakeholders’ needs are written attending the specification in the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2011 standard, and the life cycle adapted to the development was based in the standard ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207:2008. The main user interface was generated using the Matlab® GUI (Graphical User Interface). In the results, a resumed table with the final document of Requirement Specification (StRS) was generated and the main interface is coded. The system validation took place in the animal houses (bioterium) over a period of three months and the data collection and software usability reach the attendance to all the requirements listed. Thus, in the conclusions, it was observed that its users considered the developed software a good tool to help researches in the poultry and laying hens’ facility (bioterium).

Abstract. CMMI is one of the most used models in the software industry to certify the quality of its processes and products, reduces or eliminates rework, increases product and process reuse, reduces costs due to multiple evaluations and process improvement programs. On the other hand, companies that develop software apply traditional models or agile models, which manage the software development process. They also apply development standards such as ISO/IEC 12207 as well as project portfolio management standards and project management standards. The purpose of this paper is to relate the traditional and agile software development processes, project portfolio management and PMBOK with the CMMI standard. The results of this work allow us to determine the aspects that are missing from these standards and the best practices to reach a high level of CMMI maturity. It is concluded that for a company it is important to apply both agile processes and traditional processes, as well as all the standards that contribute improving the management of its projects. None of these practices and norms are opposed to the CMMI process areas, but rather are complemented to achieve a high level of quality in the final product and in achieving the objectives of the company.

Agile methods have provided significant contributions to Software Engineering. This work presents a new process for Software Requirements Specification, integrating Agile Properties and regulated environments, such as aviation, medical, nuclear and automotive, among others. The Software in Regulated Environments (SRE) involves plan-driven methods with needed documentation to ensure safety, reliability, security, and discipline. This paper proposes a balance between agile and plan-driven methods. We define a new process, which explores and investigates the usage of agile methods in SRE. The scope of this paper is Requirements Engineering, which is considered as a set of activities involved in the management, elicitation, documentation, and maintenance of requirements. The Adile Requirements Specification (ARES) process contains four methods, 13 activities, and some required artifacts to ensure compliance with the following six relevant Software Standards for regulated environments: RTCA DO-178C, IEC 62304:2015, ECSS-E-ST-40C, IEC 61508-3, ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207, and IAEA SSG-39. The process evaluation was performed using two experiments: a Cockpit Display System (CDS) and a Healthcare Information System (HIS). These experiments were measured with appropriate metrics to ensure improvements in Software Requirements Specification and traceability among artifacts. The experimental results revealed that the ARES process works better than the original Scrum for Software in Regulated Environments. The ARES process can also be integrated with traditional software life cycles (Waterfall, V, and Incremental and Iterative), when applied in the Requirements Engineering phase.

Statements 1 Prerequisites. The clinical service provider should obtain confirmation from the endoscope washer-disinfector (EWD) manufacturer that all endoscopes intended to be used can be reprocessed in the EWD. 2 Installation qualification. This can be performed by different parties but national guidelines should define who has the responsibilities, taking into account legal requirements. 3 Operational qualification. This should include parametric tests to verify that the EWD is working according to its specifications. 4 Performance qualification. Testing of cleaning performance, microbiological testing of routinely used endoscopes, and the quality of the final rinse water should be considered in all local guidelines. The extent of these tests depends on local requirements. According to the results of type testing performed during EWD development, other parameters can be tested if local regulatory authorities accept this. Chemical residues on endoscope surfaces should be searched for, if acceptable test methods are available. 5 Routine inspections. National guidelines should consider both technical and performance criteria. Individual risk analyses performed in the validation and requalification processes are helpful for defining appropriate test frequencies for routine inspections.

El presente trabajo da a conocer los resultados del proyecto Análisis de la aplicación de modelos decalidad de las empresas desarrolladoras de software asentadas en las ciudades de Quito y Guayaquil.Para determinar las metodologías y técnicas de calidad que se aplican en el desarrollo de software, serealizó una encuesta de 27 preguntas a determinada muestra de empresas, en la que intervino personalde desarrollo, también se consideró como fuente de información a los gerentes de las empresas desarrolladoras,a quienes se les realizó entrevistas. Los resultados presentados mediante gráficos estadísticosmuestran que en Quito se encuentra la mayor cantidad de las empresas de desarrollo, 75%. En cuanto ala aplicación de estándares y normas de calidad, la mayoría de las empresas conoce su existencia peroutilizan sus propios métodos que han desarrollado en base a la experiencia propia, obtenida en el procesode creación de software, así mismo se evidencia que el 48% de las empresas encuestadas no aplicaninguna norma de calidad, el 8% indicó aplicar CMMI y el 4% la Norma ISO/IEC 12007; de todas lasempresas visitadas, dos de ellas cuentan con certificación de calidad ISO 9001:2008.

Introduction: Inotuzumab ozogamicin (InO) is a CD22-directed antibody-calicheamicin conjugate. Patients (pts) with relapsed or refractory (R/R) B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treated with InO vs standard of care chemotherapy (SC) had significantly better response, and improved survival in INO-VATE (NCT01564784). Based on central laboratory assessment, this favorable benefit-risk profile of InO was independent of leukemic blast CD22 positivity (≥90% vs &lt;90%) and CD22 receptor density (quantified as Molecules of Equivalent Soluble Fluorochrome, quartile analysis). As CD22 is usually assessed in local labs in clinical practice, this study uses INO-VATE data to investigate the relationship between baseline CD22 positivity assessed by local labs and the efficacy and safety of InO vs SC. Methods: Adult pts (≥18 yrs) with R/R CD22-positive (based on local or central lab results) ALL in salvage 1 or 2 were randomized to InO (n=164) or SC (n=162) (details: NEJM 2016;375:740-53). InO starting dose was 1.8 mg/m2/cycle (0.8 mg/m2 on Day 1; 0.5 mg/m2 on Days 8 & 15 of a 21-28-day cycle for ≤6 cycles) and reduced to 1.5 mg/m2/cycle for pts with complete remission (CR) or CR with incomplete hematologic recovery (CRi). SC included fludarabine/cytarabine [Ara-C]/granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, Ara-C plus mitoxantrone, or high-dose Ara-C. CD22 positivity (% of leukemic blasts expressing CD22) was measured at screening by flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry. Efficacy (CR/CRi, minimal residual disease [MRD, assessed in central labs] among responders, overall survival [OS], progression-free survival [PFS], and duration of remission [DoR]) and safety outcomes were analyzed by CD22 positivity quartiles, Quartile 1 (Q1) having the lowest and Q4 the highest CD22 positivity. Data cutoff: 04Jan2017. P-values are 1-sided. Results: Baseline CD22 positivity per local lab was available for 152 pts per arm. CD22 positivity (%) was comparable between treatment arms for each quartile; median (range) was 21.9 (1.0-39.4) for InO vs 23.9 (0.0-39.0) for SC in Q1, 55.5 (40.0-68.9) vs 56.3 (40.0-66.0) in Q2, 84.0 (70.0-92.0) vs 84.0 (70.0-92.9) in Q3, and 98.0 (93.0-100.0) for both arms in Q4. CR/CRi rates showed no difference among quartiles in the InO (P=0.5906) or SC arm (P=0.2061), and were significantly higher with InO vs SC for all quartiles (Q1: 81.6% vs 41.2%, P=0.0002; Q2: 68.4% vs 36.8%, P=0.0029; Q3: 73.2% vs 27.0%, P&lt;0.0001; Q4: 77.1% vs 20.9%, P&lt;0.0001) (Figure). MRD negativity rates in responders were also higher with InO vs SC and the differences in the lower quartiles (Q1-Q3) were significant (Q1: 87.1% vs 50.0%, P=0.0121; Q2: 69.2% vs 21.4%, P=0.0048; Q3: 66.7% vs 30.0%, P=0.0486; Q4: 77.8% vs 55.6%, P=0.1930) (Figure). PFS, DoR, and OS were longer with InO vs SC. The benefit of InO over SC was more evident in the higher quartiles (Q2-4); hazard ratio (97.5% Cl) was 0.44 (0.31-0.61) for PFS, 0.53 (0.31-0.88) for DoR, and 0.71 (0.52-0.99) for OS (Table). Cytopenias were the most common ≥grade 3 adverse events in the InO arm, with similar rates across the quartiles (Q1-Q4: neutropenia: 52.6%, 47.4%, 39.0%, and 48.6%; thrombocytopenia: 34.2%, 44.7%, 46.3%, and 31.4%; febrile neutropenia: 15.8%, 28.9%, 29.3%, and 34.3%). Rates of ≥grade 3 infections were 21.1%, 26.3%, 36.6%, and 31.4% for Q1-Q4. In InO-treated pts, rates of ≥grade 3 hyperbilirubinemia were similar for the lower quartiles (Q1-Q3: 5.3%, 7.9%, and 2.4%; 11.4% for Q4); rates of ≥grade 3 veno-occlusive liver disease (VOD)/sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS) within 2 years of randomization regardless of causality were 13.2%, 7.9%, 7.3%, and 17.1% in Q1-Q4, respectively; 3 grade 5 VOD/SOS events occurred in Q1, 2 in Q4, and 0 in Q2 and Q3. Conclusions: In general, the results showed improvement in measures of efficacy for InO over SC that was comparable across all 4 CD22 positivity quartiles per local lab assessments. For DoR, PFS, and OS, there was a suggestion of greater benefit for pts in higher CD22 positivity quartiles treated with InO, though these analyses are limited by the small sample size. These trends are in alignment with those previously presented for central lab CD22 positivity and receptor density (Blood 2017;130[Suppl 1]:1272). Overall, InO demonstrated a favorable benefit/risk profile for pts with R/R B cell precursor ALL independent of local lab CD22 positivity. Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped bacteria, T7-09T and TR6-08T, were isolated from soil from a ginseng field in South Korea and characterized to determine their taxonomic position. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that the two isolates shared 99·5 % sequence similarity. Strains T7-09T and TR6-08T were shown to belong to the Proteobacteria and showed the highest levels of sequence similarity to Pseudoxanthomonas broegbernensis DSM 12573T (98·1 %), Pseudoxanthomonas mexicana AMX 26BT (97·4–97·5 %), Pseudoxanthomonas japonensis 12-3T (96·5–96·6 %), Pseudoxanthomonas taiwanensis ATCC BAA-404T (95·7 %) and Xanthomonas campestris ATCC 33913T (96·3–96·5 %). The sequence similarity values with respect to any species with validly published names in related genera were less than 96·5 %. The detection of a quinone system with Q-8 as the predominant compound and a fatty acid profile with C15 : 0 iso as the predominant acid supported the assignment of the novel isolates to the order ‘Xanthomonadales’. The two isolates could be distinguished from the established species of the genus Pseudoxanthomonas by the presence of quantitative unsaturated fatty acid C17 : 1 iso ω9c and by their unique biochemical profiles. The results of DNA–DNA hybridization clearly demonstrated that T7-09T and TR6-08T represent separate species. On the basis of these data, it is proposed that T7-09T (=KCTC 12208T=IAM 15116T) and TR6-08T (=KCTC 12207T=IAM 15115T) be classified as the type strains of two novel Pseudoxanthomonas species, for which the names Pseudoxanthomonas koreensis sp. nov. and Pseudoxanthomonas daejeonensis sp. nov., respectively, are proposed.

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo desarrollar un método de evaluación sencillo direccionado a ciclistas amateur, que permita valorar la composición corporal y las condiciones fisiológicas, con el fin de optimizar el desempeño y rendimiento deportivo de esta población.Materiales y métodos: Estudio de tipo cuantitativo y alcance descriptivo, que se sustenta a partir del análisis de un estudio de caso de un varón de 23 años de edad. Como variables de análisis propuestas se contemplaron: composición corporal: peso, talla, índice de masa corporal (IMC) y somatotipo; condiciones fisiológicas: costo cardiaco, VO2max, frecuencia cardiaca máxima, fuerza máxima (1RM) de miembros inferiores y flexibilidad global.Resultados: Sujeto de 168 cm de estatura, 82. Kg de peso, con IMC de 29 Kg/m2, un somatotipo endo-mesomorfo; el VO2 máx. obtenido fue de 51 mL/Kg/min. El 1RM en prensa es de 145 Kg y de 57 Kg para plantiflexión, y en Flexitest presenta 45 puntos. Conclusiones: El incremento de la población practicante de ciclismo de ruta en Colombia ha ido en aumento si se tiene en cuenta la situación de movilidad actual y el alto costo económico que este genera; por ende, implementar pautas básicas de evaluación que permitan identificar las condiciones fisiológicas de los ciclistas aficionados, se convierte en un aspecto fundamental que conllevaría a la optimización en la ejecución del gesto deportivo en cada una de sus fases así como de los determinantes propios de la condición física.

El objetivo fue diseñar propuestas de mejora para un servicio de mantenimiento y reparación de vehículos que posee la concesión de una marca internacional de automóviles. La metodología consideró principalmente los aportes del modelo chileno de gestión de excelencia, una norma para el tratamiento de los reclamos, una metodología de diagnóstico de gestión, las dimensiones del modelo Servperf y la técnica de análisis de factores. Los principales resultados permitieron conocer el nivel de calidad del servicio, identificación de una dimensión de calidad subyacente, catorce prácticas de gestión y el diseño de un mecanismo de control y seguimiento fundamentado en la teoría del cuadro de mando integral. Las principales conclusiones indican que integrando los aportes de la literatura de gestión de calidad se pueden diseñar propuestas de mejora en los ámbitos estratégico, personal, análisis de datos, métodos y tecnología. The organizations and people are demanding more and better software products and services, which implies adequate processes for its development. In the context of the software industry, there are two models, the CMMI-DEV and ISO/IEC 12207 that are influencing it. Though, they are evolving separately, recurrently they have been compared to determine its coverage (in both directions). In this study is analyzed the results of those comparisons (partials and completed) to determine if the models ISO/IEC 12207 and CMMI-DEV converge at processes level. This study identified eight articles where the comparison is carried out between ISO/IEC 12207 and CMMI-DEV. The results show that technique most used is the mapping comparisons between the models and according to the analyzed studies is not possible to determine whether there is convergence in the time. However, we found some items and criterions for use in comparisons.

This work describes a model for certification ISO 9001:2000 process of a software company. The Quality Management System (QMS) implementation in the company guided the fundamental processes of the software development, the organizational processes and the support processes, structuring all the practices in the company and extending its vision in relation to their own products, processes, collaborators and clients. The certification process was conducted through a set of structured activities based upon ISO/IEC 12207, in contrast to the logical sequence of implementation items in ISO 9001. As a result, this work provided greater agility in the implementation process of the QMS in the software company.

During the execution of software projects, it is necessary to collect, store and analyze data to support project and organizational decisions. Software measurement is a fundamental practice for project management and process improvement. It is present in the main models and standards that address software process improvement, such as ISO/IEC 12207, CMMI and MR MPS.BR. In order to effectively perform software measurement, it is necessary an infrastructure to support data collection, storage and analysis. This infrastructure can be defined by means of an architecture, which describes the components necessary to support software measurement. In this paper we present the main results obtained from a systematic mapping study that investigated software measurement architectures and an approach proposed aiming to help organizations define software measurement architectures.

Having a well-defined control of the change processes in the configuration management in the software development life cycle, before and after being put into production environment, implies an effort of development personnel and an additional cost in the maintenance system. The objective of this paper is to establish the guidelines to regulate the activities and tasks during the process of development and maintenance of software-based systems in order to control the changes, integrity and traceability of its configuration, for this purpose it is taken as a reference the peruvian technical standards NTP-ISO/IEC 12207: 2016 for Software and systems engineering, NTPISO/IEC 27001: 2014 for Information security management systems and the methodology MÉTRICA version 3 for the systematization of life cycle of the software activities. The proposal defines the roles and responsibilities, the activities of each thread and the use of control templates, the validation of the was achieved through the analysis of three software systems with results that show that there is a better organization in the development, maintenance, control of the versions of the elements and the percentage of error in the configuration.

Mobile Learning (M-Learning) has added a new dimension to the traditional system of education. The importance of M-Learning has been acknowledged by industrialized countries and therefore these countries have implemented it in the educational institutions. The Software developer, Software analyst, and Software test engineer face challenges in requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, and deployment of M-Learning application. It’s because the Software engineering domain of M-Learning has not yet attended maturity. The design and development of M-Learning application is still a challenge. This study explores and analyses existing approaches in the design phase of M-Learning application development, reports the limitations, and propose a new solution. M-Learning has two basic components: pedagogy and software application (application). M-Learning pedagogy describes learning content in terms of instructional and learning design while software application provides platform for accessibility of learning content. The integration of these two components while designing, development, and testing play crucial role in the successful implementation of M-Learning. However, review of the existing literature has revealed lack of integrated approach for designing M-Learning pedagogy and application. There are researchers who have proposed design approaches for M-Learning pedagogy and application however separately. The significance of these approaches cannot be ignored but M-Learning application design and development suffers from compatibility issues, lack of design and testing mechanisms, identified stakeholders and their roles, lack of defined step and procedures. Therefore, this article presents an integrated design model for M-Learning pedagogy and application. The proposed model consists of pedagogy, application, and testing as important components. The application design is concerned with architectural level, high level, and detailed design. The pedagogical design is related to instruction and learning content. The test case design is concerned with formulation of conditions for testing the pedagogy and application. The proposed integrated design model has been compared with the existing approaches and ISO/IEC 12207:2008 and ISO/IEC 19796-1 standards. Also, the model has been reviewed by IT experts. The outcome is positive in both the cases.

How do you teach software project management to 4th year engineering students, when there is nothing to manage, and the largest project they’ve ever experienced was with two buddies last term? In this paper, we present our experience over seven years teaching this topic alternatively to industrial practitioners, and to undergraduate and graduate students in an academic environment, both in Canada and in the Netherlands. The approach is based on a conceptual model of software development that takes into account the common aspects across a vast spectrum of software projects (“the frog”): intent, product, work, people, time, uncertainty, quality cost and value, and the variability across this spectrum (“the octopus”): size, criticality, business model, governance, team distribution, culture, etc.. This conceptual model is used throughout to (1) structure the course, (2) introduce issues, techniques, practices, and analyze them from a critical perspective: what would the frog say? what would the octopus say? (3) map other models, frameworks, or standards in this field: PMBOK, ISO 12207, RUP, Agile and lean approaches, ACM/IEEE SE 2004 curriculum. Rather than delivering to the students a canned set of recipes, the objective is to allow them to reason about the strategies, techniques, practices and tools that are most applicable to a given set of circumstances. The approach is complemented by small simulation games used to illustrate a few aspects and to trigger discussion (what happened, how realistic is this, how would you do differently?), or short videos of practices used to initiate a debate in class on a given practice.
