The article raises the question of the originality of S.Ya. Marshak's translation lyricism. Some critics were convinced that, as a children's writer, Marshak could not be a lyricist at all. However, M.L. Gasparov wrote about Marshak's lyrics, which he recognized, paradoxically defining it as impersonal. E.G. Etkind was confident in the lyricism of the writer's translation preferences.
