Many emerging applications, such as factory automation, electric power distribution, and intelligent transportation systems, require multicast Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (mURLLC). Since 3GPP Release 17, 5G systems natively support multicast functionality, including multicast Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request and various feedback schemes. Although these features can be promising for mURLLC, the specifications and existing studies fall short in offering guidance on their efficient usage. This paper presents the first comprehensive system-level evaluation of mURLLC, leveraging insights from 3GPP specifications. It points out (i) how mURLLC differs from traditional multicast broadband wireless communications, and (ii) which approaches to provide mURLLC require changing the paradigm compared with the existing solutions. Finally, the paper provides recommendations on how to satisfy strict mURLLC requirements efficiently, i.e., with low channel resource consumption, which increases the capacity of 5G systems for mURLLC. Simulation results show that proper configuration of multicast mechanisms and the corresponding algorithms for mURLLC traffic can reduce resource consumption up to three times compared to the baseline solutions proposed for broadband multicast traffic, which significantly increases the system capacity.

Na podstawie wykonanych analiz zauważono skupisko murali w centralnej części miasta, a jednocześnie w ostatnich latach tendencję do lokalizowania murali poza centrum. Wyróżniono sześć typów lokalizacji murali: ślepa ściana budynku, ściana budynku z oknami/drzwiami, strefa wejściowa do budynku, brama/przejście, mur, filar mostu/wiaduktu.

The community mural movement serves an important educational role by articulating, clarifying, and expanding community values. Through examining the community mural movement as democratic art and education, I argue that murals can be aesthetically challenging and ask profound questions at the same time. I explore the history of the modern mural movement and discuss murals that serve to educate artists and community alike. I show that community murals are expressive as well as didactic, that they stimulate community pride and commitment to justice while teaching outsiders about the struggles of traditionally oppressed people. Murals have immense capacity to expand multicultural understanding at a time when multiculturalism is central to the educational process. The community mural movement in the last thirty years has moved in a democratic direction by involving artists and neighborhood residents in collaborative public endeavors. I conclude that if the muralists and scholars examined in this article are taken seriously, it is difficult to deny that community murals are a democratic art form and that community murals have great educational potential.

In this case, mural artists play a role in voicing aspirations, criticism, ideas and things that are bothering society. Because murals do not only focus on the beauty of the mural artwork, but also have meaning and messages. Masjo, as a mural artist, sees phenomena around him that he uses as topics for murals. As happened some time ago, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a real impact on society. Masjo sees this phenomenon as sad. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using iconography and iconology semiotics to obtain markers of meaning contained in mural images. So that this research can explain or describe Masjo's mural work in detail. The results of this research are the meaning of artistic expression and messages of social criticism in Masjo's mural entitled 'Just stay at home'. The meaning of artistic expression in mural works tells how to survive in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The social criticism in the mural discusses the role of the government which only advises people to stay at home, while the government does not provide guarantees for people's lives

Considering the problems of fuzzy repair and low pixel similarity matching in the repair of existing tomb murals, we propose a novel tomb mural repair algorithm based on sequential similarity detection in this paper. First, we determine the gradient value of tomb mural through second-order Gaussian Laplace operator in LOG edge detection and then reduce the noise in the edge of tomb mural to process a smooth edge of tomb mural. Further, we set the mathematical model to obtain the edge features of tomb murals. To calculate the average gray level of foreground and background under a specific threshold, we use the maximum interclass variance method, which considers the influence of small cracks on the edge of tomb murals and separates the cracks through a connected domain labelling algorithm and open and close operations to complete the edge threshold segmentation. In addition, we use the priority calculation function to determine the damaged tomb mural area, calculate the gradient factor of edge information, obtain the information entropy of different angles, determine the priority of tomb mural image repair, detect the similarity of tomb mural repair pixels with the help of sequential similarity, and complete the tomb mural repair. Experimental results show that our model can effectively repair the edges of the tomb murals and can achieve a high pixel similarity matching degree.

Ancient Chinese murals have a long history and a large number of types. They are witnesses to the development of ancient Chinese civilization. They still have important historical, artistic, and scientific values, as well as other values such as cultural relics, economy, and missionary education. Yet, the clear and smooth images of earlier have been damaged and covered by fog after the ancient murals were destroyed by human being and the nature. Therefore, the ancient murals that exist till now have been bothered by different damages and sickness. Protection and prevention are needed the most. In recent years, the application of scientific and technological means has played a role in the protection of ancient murals, making the work methods of cultural relics protection more scientific and diverse. In the context of the increasingly rich digital protection of cultural relics, the protection of murals requires more innovative work. However, at present, the resolution of ancient murals is low and the texture details are ambiguous, which leads to the problems of insufficient viewing and low research value. This paper focuses on ancient Chinese murals and conducts exploration on the phenomenon of mural damage and blurred colors. The deep learning intelligent laser scanning technology is used to extract the damaged ancient mural images. In this thesis, the images of murals have been restored using the new-super resolution technology to achieve the optimal mural images so that the mural images are more beautiful and artistic, which provides new ideas for the protection of murals.

This has encouraged local governments to establish Mural Art Policies and Regulations (MAPRs) that employ murals as an acceptable (and even desired) element in the municipal toolkit, while balancing a variety of interests. This paper discusses why and how municipalities regulate and facilitate the creation of murals. It advocates a better understanding of mural art strategies, through comparative analysis of mural policies in different cities. To facilitate comparison, we argue that a conceptual framework is essential. For this reason, the method of repairing the damaged murals based on machine vision is studied. Using machine vision, it can get two-dimensional image of a mural, preprocess the image, extract the damaged data of a mural, and then divide the repair area and repair degree index. According to different types of damage, it can choose the corresponding repair methods to achieve the repair of damaged mural. The results show: Compared with the OPTICS-based unsupervised method and the machine vision for orchard navigation method, the number of repair points and repair cracks extracted by the proposed method is more than that of the two traditional methods, which can more accurately and comprehensively extract the repair information of murals.

As an important part of cultural heritage, murals reflect the economy, culture, and ideas of different historical periods and are an important basis for historical research. The lines in murals are the core elements to express the beauty of images. They have an irreplaceable special position in murals and are of great significance in the protection and restoration of murals. With the development of image recognition technology, the recognition of mural images has become a key research topic. In recent years, as a new image processing technology, deep learning based on a convolutional neural network is widely used in many fields. Using a convolutional neural network to recognize images has become a very active topic. With the continuous deepening of the number of layers of the convolutional neural network model, its autonomous learning ability of image recognition continues to improve. However, there are still some problems in the current image recognition model based on a convolutional neural network for mural images with rich structural details and complex texture and color. Therefore, according to the texture and structural characteristics of mural images, this paper uses the design idea of a convolutional neural network for reference to carry out research on mural image recognition. The improved algorithm proposed in this paper is tested on the experimental data set of mural images. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm can reduce the recognition error; enhance the edge, texture, and structure information of the reconstructed mural image; and enrich the detail information of the reconstructed mural image.

Changes in the environment and human activities can cause serious deterioration of murals. Hyperspectral imaging technology can observe murals in the range of visible to near infrared light, providing a scientific and non-destructive way for mural digital preservation. An effective method to extract hidden information from the sootiness of murals in order to enhance the visual value of patterns in ancient murals using hyperspectral imaging is proposed in this paper. Firstly, Minimum Noise Fraction transform was applied to reduce sootiness features in the background of the mural. Secondly, analysis of spectral characteristics and image subtraction were used to achieve feature enhancement of the murals. Finally, density slicing was performed to extract the patterns under the sootiness. The results showed that the extraction of hidden information was achieved with an overall accuracy of 88.97%.

The 2nd axis: Murals inspired by the picturesque Yemeni nature. The 3rd axis: murals inspired by the social and psychological state of the Yemeni human being. Conclusion: Many Yemeni institutions' buildings are decorated with murals, paintings, and other subjects related to that region or community. We note that the government of Yemen has taken care of this type of architecture, such as the art of murals. Recommendations: The mural art works are not suitable for placing in international airport halls except with basic points that are supposed to be taken into account in the mural work to be placed inside airports, where it is recommended to take into account the three main axes: the environment, the design, and the materials in which these murals were completed. Keywords: mural, airports, Yemeni airports, esthetics.

Dunhuang Murals are one of China's intangible cultural heritages, which have received extensive attention. Identifying and classifying the dynasties of ancient murals quickly and accurately is extremely important for the study of Dunhuang Murals and the digital protection and inheritance. A method to classify Dunhuang Murals dynasties based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is proposed in this paper. First, the Dunhuang Murals data set is constructed from the mural materials; then, four convolutional neural network models with different depths and structures are constructed and trained; finally, the network model is tested using the test set and an appropriate classification model is selected. The experimental results show that for the Dunhuang mural image data sets of five different dynasties in this paper, the four models obtain high classification accuracy, and the accuracy of VGG11 and VGG19 reach 96%. Among them, the classification accuracy of murals in the Sui Dynasty and the Five Dynasties and Song Dynasties is lower than that of other dynasties in this paper.

AbstractThis paper presents preliminary scientific analytical results and discussion on the murals unearthed at the Shimao Site in Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province. The murals were composed of pigment layer, plaster base layer and daub layer. The pigments used include hematite, goethite, glauconite and carbon black. Same with the floor plaster layer of the house foundations in the site, the plaster layer of murals is made of calcium carbonate. For the painting procedure, a draft had firstly been designed by engraved lines, and then the murals were painted with various pigments. A tentative comparative study shows that the manufacturing technology and painting techniques of the Shimao mural are similar to that of the murals of the Han and Tang Dynasties. It indicates that the fundamental manufacturing technology of mural had probably been established in the Erlitou Period at latest, which was just followed and enriched over the Han and Tang Dynasties.

Environmental changes and human activities have caused serious degradation of murals around the world. Scratches are one of the most common issues in these damaged murals. We propose a new method for virtually enhancing and removing scratches from murals; which can provide an auxiliary reference and support for actual restoration. First, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed on the hyperspectral data of a mural after reflectance correction, and high-pass filtering was performed on the selected first principal component image. Principal component fusion was used to replace the original first principal component with a high-pass filtered first principal component image, which was then inverse PCA transformed with the other original principal component images to obtain an enhanced hyperspectral image. The linear information in the mural was therefore enhanced, and the differences between the scratches and background improved. Second, the enhanced hyperspectral image of the mural was synthesized as a true colour image and converted to the HSV colour space. The light brightness component of the image was estimated using the multi-scale Gaussian function and corrected with a 2D gamma function, thus solving the problem of localised darkness in the murals. Finally, the enhanced mural images were applied as input to the triplet domain translation network pretrained model. The local branches in the translation network perform overall noise smoothing and colour recovery of the mural, while the partial nonlocal block is used to extract the information from the scratches. The mapping process was learned in the hidden space for virtual removal of the scratches. In addition, we added a Butterworth high-pass filter at the end of the network to generate the final restoration result of the mural with a clearer visual effect and richer high-frequency information. We verified and validated these methods for murals in the Baoguang Hall of Qutan Temple. The results show that the proposed method outperforms the restoration results of the total variation (TV) model, curvature-driven diffusion (CDD) model, and Criminisi algorithm. Moreover, the proposed combined method produces better recovery results and improves the visual richness, readability, and artistic expression of the murals compared with direct recovery using a triple domain translation network.

Political, war-themed and controversial murals aim to show the history of a community, making the intangible tangible, and, because these events are still recent, they stir people’s emotions. Visitors to this type of heritage have a mixture of artistic and dark interests that lead to what we call ‘dark mural attractions’. These political murals need a public strategy to be preserved, become better known and attract local economic development funds to make them sustainable. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyse how communities could build a co-narrative around murals to generate a sustainable local development. To achieve this goal, an in depth study needs to be performed to establish what kind of narrative will enable political murals to attract dark visitors and examine how communities can build a sustainable co-narrative around a dark mural. As a case study, we analyse the Battle of Cable Street mural in London, located in the non-touristic borough of Tower Hamlets, by means of an ethnographic qualitative approach based on stakeholders’ opinions, among other sources. In this case, results show that dark murals have the potential to attract visitors, but they require a public strategy for the sustainability of heritage, based on a narrative of community solidarity for educational and discovery purposes.

Dunhuang murals are the world's oldest and most culturally rich world-class cultural treasure in China. How combining classical Dunhuang murals with new-era clothing and jewelry design is crucial for the inheritance and development of Dunhuang culture. Based on analyzing the line and shape architecture of Dunhuang murals, this study interprets the aesthetic attributes of Dunhuang murals' designs and further reveals the aesthetic attributes of Dunhuang murals' colors from the perspectives of color style and cultural connotations. Based on the above aesthetic and cultural factors, this study further analyzes the application practice and innovative principles of Dunhuang murals and proposes a method and artistic means of mural design reconstruction based on modern pragmatism. The research results indicate significant differences in the color and design styles of Dunhuang murals in different historical periods. The changes in the size of unit designs, the thickness of contour lines, and the changes in hue, brightness, and saturation in color in Dunhuang murals refer to the changes in the arrangement of designs in a fixed area. They not only serve to separate different mural contents for the sake of aesthetic decoration but also highlight the structural characteristics of the cave. The edge decoration designs created based on the structure itself will have more intuitive properties. In the process of designing Dunhuang mural empowering scarves, digital prints can be inputted into a computer through digital means, and then processed through a computer color separation printing system. Specialized software can directly spray various specialized dyes onto the silk fabric through the printing system, and then undergo later processing to obtain the required printing products on the material.

Dunhuang murals are an important part of human cultural heritage with extraordinary literary and historical value. However, with the influences of time and the environment, many murals have suffered large defects and require complete reconstructions of their historical information, which is difficult. Moreover, the manual restoration of murals is complicated and slow. We attempted to use deep learning techniques to restore two types of damaged murals, including central regular defects and random irregular defects. First, we created a dataset of 26,240 Dunhuang murals for model training. Second, we built an image restoration model based on U-net to automatically restore murals. We show that mapping global information to defective areas can effectively restore murals with random irregular defects. Compared to manual restoration, the proposed model significantly reduces the time and cost of restoration work. In addition, we propose a method for constructing and preserving the contour maps of mural images and present the model’s training process. Using the deep learning model, professional restorers can provide visual feedback on the restoration process to directly compare the restoration patterns of different rounds. This method implements observations of the filling-in process in the defective areas. Finally, we built a Dunhuang mural restoration system for professional restorers to restore, select, and share murals on an online platform.

The relevance of studying the murals is that the murals allow to diversify the tourist offer of the capital. The purpose of this publication is to analize the development of the murals and the opportunity of using them as a new type of tourism resource. One of the subjects of the study is to carry out a retrospective analysis of the existing collection of Kyiv’s murals and to substantiate their use in the organization of excursion routes in order to inform tourists. During the study of the murals, the creation of the route allows to track the change in the image of the urban environment under the influence of street art. In the process of researching the murals as a tourist resources of cities, we have introduced the term “conceptual tourist resources”, which in our opinion most accurately reflects their semantic charge. Murals are the alternative resources towards traditional tourism resources (natural, historical, cultural, socio-economical or socio-historical) that are widely used in the classifications of leading researchers in the tourism industry (Kvartal’nov V., Smal’ I., Beidyk O., Mal’s’ka M., Kuzyk S., Liubitseva O., Pankova Ye., Stafiichuk V., etc.). The study identified the 32 biggest murals in Kyiv and found that the murals are the relevant forms of street art that focuses on social, cultural, and historical topics. Mural paintings have been found to be motivating objects to visit and affect the formation of city’s new symbols. In the route we have developed, we have selected 24 representative murals made in different styles, dedicated to several topics: milestones of Ukrainian history, the fight between good and evil, friendship and devotion, freedom and equality. Thus, the involvement of murals in excursion routes allows residents and guests of the capital city to track the change in the image of the urban environment under the influence of street art. In the course of the study, it was found that murals are ambiguously perceived in society. The analysis showed that the appearance of modern murals on the streets of the capital began in the mid-2000s, a sharp increase in their number occurred during 2015 - 2017. It was determined that the main factors that influenced the development of muralism in Ukraine were the demands of society and the organization of art festivals, including Muralissimo, City Art, Dynamic Urban Culture Kyiv, Mural Social Club, Art United Us, Mural Social Club Back to school! Ukraine, French Spring, etc. The largest art festivals include City Art 2015, Dynamic Urban Culture Kyiv 2015, Mural Social Club 2016, 2017, Art United Us 2016, 2017, within which 88 works were created. The results of the study identified the trend in the development of muralism in Ukraine, which consists of the gradual change from spontaneous, anonymous street art to the development of concerted and commissioned by state bodies paintings, which are spread not only on the walls of industrial sites, residential buildings, but also on the walls of educational institutions, government institutions and the police department. Kyiv is the first city in the world where a mural was created on the walls of the police department. The study found that since the mid-2010, the murals began to establish in the central part of the city, and since 2014 they have spread to the so-called “gray” residential areas of Sviatoshyno, Darnytskyi, Desnyanskiy and Solomianskyi districts and Obolon’, etc. Today, the total number of murals in the capital is 160.

Abstract. Mural painting is one of the important cultural heritage reflecting the historical migration of the nation. In order to inherit these precious historical and cultural heritage, how to non - destructively and digitally protect and restore the existing murals has become an urgent task. The use of computer - assisted restoration of murals can not only save manpower and material resources, but also avoid secondary damage to the murals. However, most of the existing computer-assisted mural restoration algorithms use similar blocks with priority calculations and matching blocks in adjacent areas to guide mural restoration. There are some problems such as incoherent overall semantic structure, unnatural detail texture and inability to effectively repair large area missing remain to be solved. Aiming at the problems existing in the restoration of large area diseases such as paint loss and color fading in murals, we constructed a fine image restoration network model which based on generative adversarial network. A multi-scale dense matching repair network based on a generative adversarial network is constructed. First, the dense combination of dilated convolutions is used to improve the repair effect of detailed textures, Then, mean absolute Error, (Visual Geometry Group, VGG) feature matching, auto-guided regression, and geometric alignment are used as the loss function to guide the training of the generative network. Second, the discriminator with local and global branches is used to train the discriminant network, so that the repaired image is in the local and global content. Experiments were performed on the three mural data sets one by one. The results show that the network model can effectively restore the lines and faces in the murals. The images restored are not only coherent in semantic details, but also natural in color, which is conducive to the appreciation and display of murals. Thus, as one of the important directions of cultural heritage digital protection, the use of generative adversarial network in the digital restoration of ancient murals have been proved to be effective. It not only provides a reference for the true restoration of the murals but also means a lot to the preservation of murals.

Mural paintings, as the main components of painted cultural relics, have essential research value and historical significance. Due to their age, murals are easily damaged. Obtaining intact sketches is the first step in the conservation and restoration of murals. However, sketch extraction often suffers from problems such as loss of details, too thick lines, or noise interference. To overcome these problems, a mural sketch extraction method based on image enhancement and edge detection is proposed. The experiments utilize Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and bilateral filtering to enhance the mural images. This can enhance the edge features while suppressing the noise generated by over-enhancement. Finally, we extract the refined sketch of the mural using the Laplacian Edge with fine noise remover (FNR). The experimental results show that this method is superior to other methods in terms of visual effect and related indexes, and it can extract the complex line regions of the mural.

This study identifies the structure and material characteristics of the mural paintings in Daeungjeon at Ssanggyesa temple in Jindo by conducting scientific research and analysis including microscope examination, SEM-EDS, XRD, particle size analysis, and others. According to the analyses, the murals were considered to be of a typical soil mural style for Korean Buddhist murals, given that the walls were made of sand and soil and the murals had layers consisting of wall layers and a finishing layer. However, some finishing layer used calcite, while some ground layer used zinc white beneath the thick paint. In addition, there were similar features to those found on the surfaces of oil paintings such as cracks along with the paint layer, high gloss on surfaces, and thick brush strokes in many areas. It was found that the walls on which the murals were painted were made of soil but that the paint layer was created based on the oil painting technique using drying oil. It determined that the murals were painted in a unique painting style that is rarely found in other typical Buddhist murals in Korea.

The theory used in this research is the public sphere, the semiotics of Rolland Barthes, and the silent group. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with the semiotic analysis method of Roland Barthes. The research data were obtained from observations, documentation studies, and literature studies. The conclusion of this study is that in public spaces, murals are used as social criticism. However, this mural often causes a lot of noise and the officers or officers reactively delete the messages as a form of silence.

The study explores the convergence of gastrodiplomacy and public art, namely a traditional food-themed mural located in Lorong Seni, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Gastrodiplomacy utilises traditional cuisine as a strategic instrument to merge diplomacy and culture, examined in relation to how this mural may honour the culinary traditions of Negeri Sembilan and facilitate the promotion of this gastronomic legacy through a visual medium. This research employs qualitative approaches, including a site visit for mural location selection and a comprehensive analysis of the mural by using art criticism theoretical framework developed by Feldman. Feldman proposed four primary processes in art criticism concerning visual components, artistic methods, and cultural narratives included in food-themed murals: description, analysis, interpretation, and judgement. This study’s findings are anticipated to demonstrate how the generated murals may serve as a significant element in cultural promotion, tourist enhancement, and as an innovative platform for visual gastrodiplomacy.

Recently there has been a resurgence of murals in several European and American cities. Street art visual practices have privileged murals as one of the most suitable formats to address public spaces. Despite the increasing recognition and significance of murals for the visual culture of these cities, this contemporary urban art practice has not received much attention from recent literature. This paper provides a literature review on contemporary murals, giving an account of their popularity, their relation to location-specificity and global presence, as well as the means of dissemination of such art expression. The study will then focus on a set of case studies in Lisbon, regarding the paradigmatic shift from sculpture commissioning to mural commissioning within Portuguese Brazilian cultural relationships. The works of OSGEMEOS, Bicicleta sem Freio and Nunca will be discussed in this framework, questioning what the contributions of contemporary mural works might be for the public spaces of the city.

The aim of the article is to define the role of mural art as a part of street art in the context of the cultural urban space. Identification of mural art in cities, its transformation depending on the place of creation and changes in the perception of the viewer requires needs research that is more detailed. А lot of people do not distinguish between concepts in street art; do not understand the artistic value of murals. Therefore, it is useful to show all functions, which murals can have. The quantity and quality of murals in the urban space affects its reputation, culture, development trends. That is, murals can both spoil urban visions and aestheticize them. Murals often engine enrichment of human consciousness, because artists raise important social issues, motivate the viewer to think. They try to turn the city into a large gallery, to influence people who involuntarily become spectators and connoisseurs of street art. It is also appropriate to explore the trends of Ukrainian muralism in the urban space. After all, street art has become very popular in Ukraine, as evidenced we can see various thematic festivals and competitions. The research methodology involves an interdisciplinary approach, analysis of scientific works of cultural and art history, review of thematic media and creative work of street artists to determine the characteristics and purposes of their activities. The works of modern Ukrainian researchers who study the issues of the cultural space of the city, mural art and street art in general are involved. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the influence of mural art on personal perception on drawing attention to socio-political problems in the urban context. On the example of the analysis of works of world street artists the tendency to social and educational function of murals, instead of simply aesthetic, is traced. The practical significance of the study is to emphasize that murals have artistic value, a unique semantic message, and are not just a means of aestheticization. The article can be useful for specialists in culturology, history, art history, architecture and for artists.

Abstract. The Dunhuang murals are a precious treasure of China's cultural heritage, yet they have long been affected by salt damage. Traditional methods for detecting salt content are costly, inefficient, and may cause physical harm to the murals. Among current techniques for measuring salt content in murals, hyperspectral remote sensing technology offers a non-invasive , circumventing issues of high costs, low efficiency. Building on this, our study developed a high-spectral feature inversion model for mural phosphate content using Fractional Order Differentiation (FOD), a novel three-band spectral index, and Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) algorithm. The specific research contents include: 1) Exploring the absorption mechanism of phosphates and their characteristic bands, combined with the optimal spectral index to construct a univariate linear regression model, providing a basis for rapid quantitative measurement of mural phosphate content. 2) By comparing the accuracy of the PSR and PNDI spectral indices based on the linear regression model, the first six orders of the highest accuracy spectral index were selected as the optimal three-band spectral index combination, used as explanatory variables, with mural plaster electrical conductivity as the response variable, employing the PLSR method to construct the mural phosphate content high-spectral feature inversion model. The study's findings include: 1) By comparing the outcomes of different orders of fractional differentiation, it was found that the model performance reached its optimum at a 0.3 order of differentiation for both PSR and PNDI data, with a determination coefficient (R2) of 0.728. 2) Utilizing PLSR, this study employed the previously determined optimal six-order three-band spectral index combination as explanatory variables, with salt content as the response variable, successfully constructing the high-spectral feature inversion model for mural phosphate content with a determination coefficient (R2) of 0.815. This provides an effective technical means for monitoring the salt damage conditions of precious cultural heritage such as murals.

Mural art is a work of fine art that is depicted on a large, flat medium, such as the wall or ceiling of a room. Murals first appeared as a means of aspiration during the Indonesian war for independence. At that time, the street walls were covered with various kinds of critical and satirical murals. This research activity was carried out in Gampong Peunayong, Banda Aceh City. This research aims to find out how traders and the local community react and respond to the existence of murals on the walls of Gampong Peunayong buildings. In terms of examining research objects and subjects, researchers use qualitative research methods, which discuss descriptively the entire data obtained during the research. As a supporting tool, researchers used Clive Bell's Form Theory to examine the shapes in the murals in Gampong Peunayong briefly. The research method used is qualitative research. This research aims to find out how the local community that lives around the murals exists and examine information about the murals depicted on the walls of Gampong Peunayoung. Based on the results of research in the form of explanations and responses from the community regarding the existence of murals in Gampong Peunayong, some people accept and are happy with the presence of murals in their environment, especially traders at the Peunayong market. However, some others did not like the visual mural that was presented. The impact of murals on the economic growth of traders at Peunayong Market is also not really felt; whether or not there are murals, traders still have customers.
