Webbapplikationer bygger på många olika webbramar och utvecklare har en mängd olika webbramverk att välja mellan när de utvecklar en webbapplikation. Två populära webbramverk som finns på marknaden är NextJS och Create React App (CRA). Varje ramverk har sina egna för- och nackdelar i olika perspektiv. Syftet med denna studie är att granska om det finns några skillnader i dessa två populära webbramverk ur ett kontinuerligt integrations och kontinuerligt leverans-perspektiv med ett fokus på att kolla närmare på skillnaderna inom utvecklingsprocessen vid utökningar av applikationer och den tid det tar att bygga och driftsätta applikationer i de olika ramverken. För att få kunskap om ämnet så har en teoretisk studie av webbaserade källor gjorts och en applikation har skapats i de båda ramarverken för att sedan utvidgas med ytterligare verktyg för att kunna utföra en jämförelse. Studien visar att ramverken resulterar i liknande byggoch driftsättningstider men skiljer sig dock åt gällande konfigurationer när applikationerna utökades och att NextJS gav en enklare åtkomst åt konfigurering.<br>Web applications are built on numerous of different web frameworks and developers have a plethora of different web frameworks to choose from when developing a web application. Two popular web frameworks on the market are NextJS and Create React App (CRA). Each framework has its own advantages and disadvantages in different perspectives. The objective of this study is to review if there are any differences in these two popular web frameworks in a continuous integration and continuous delivery perspective looking closer at the differences in the development process when extending applications and the time it takes to build and deploy applications in the different frameworks. To gain knowledge about the subject, a theoretical study on web based sources has been made and an application has been created in both framework to then be extended with further tools to be able to perform the comparison. The study shows that the frameworks results in similar build and deployment times but does however differ in the configurations when extending applications and that NextJS did provide a more straightforward configuration.

<p>Sammanfattning</p><p>Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka produktivitet inom utvalda delar av</p><p>Nexans produktion. Nexans är ett företag som tillverkar och saluför olika typer av</p><p>kabel för en mängd olika ändamål. Då kopparpriserna steg i höjden under början</p><p>av 2000-talet har företagen inom kopparindustrin blivit tvingade att effektivisera</p><p>produktionen för att bli konkurrenskraftigare. I viss mån har kunderna fått</p><p>acceptera en prisökning på grund av kopparpriserna. Faktumet att kunderna har</p><p>accepterat en stegring av prisläget hindrar inte industrin från att kontinuerligt</p><p>försöka förbättra befintlig produktion.</p><p>Uppgiften som ålåg författarna var att hitta en metod för att öka produktiviteten i</p><p>divisionen ”Tele-Metall”. Divisionen är ett område inom Nexans som bland annat</p><p>innefattar processindustri i form av extrudering (plastbearbetning) och löpande</p><p>produktion i form av krysskabling (kablar tvinnas till grövre diameter). Området</p><p>som granskades avgränsades till två maskiner, krysskablingsmaskin 330 och</p><p>mantlingsmaskin 5.</p><p>För att undersöka vilka förutsättningar som finns gällande</p><p>produktivitetsoptimeringar resulterade teoristudien i användandet av den såkallade</p><p>MPU metoden. Endast P och U delen i metoden användes, där P står för</p><p>prestation och U för utnyttjandegrad. M som står för metod och användandet av</p><p>denna del är låst vid uppdatering av hård- och mjukvara, vilket ligger utanför</p><p>avgränsningen. Med hjälp av denna metod kunde uppsatsen knytas ihop för att</p><p>skapa en helhetsbild. Lean Production och incitamentsystem är strategier som har</p><p>används som verktyg för komma tillrätta med de problemställningar som skapats.</p><p>Kartläggningen av stopptider utfördes genom en absolut tidsstudie, där de två</p><p>aktuella maskinerna analyserades grundligt under två skift. För att få fram ett</p><p>tillförlitligt värde analyserades stopptider registrerade i Nexans datasystem, MOI</p><p>(Mätning och identifiering), tre månader bakåt i tiden. Värdet från MOI satte vi</p><p>sedan i relation till vårt uppmätta värde. Våra beräkningar enligt MPU metoden</p><p>ledde fram till en rad konkreta förbättringsåtgärder. De relativt enkla åtgärderna</p><p>bestod av att implementera ett fungerande incitamentsystem, införa ett Andon</p><p>system med ljud- och ljussignaler, utveckla den befintliga 5S metodiken, skapa</p><p>självstyrande lag, arbeta med MPU metoden och införa Norm meter som</p><p>produktivitetsmått.</p>

The observation of how the terms behave in the construction of meanings in texts of different genres and their interpretation effects are also widespread themes among semantic research. In this work we will discuss about the meaning of the relations of meaning and their sense of purpose in a specific genre. The relations that we will investigate are semantic nexus or semantic links, as proposed by Chierchia (2003), which are respectively: entailment, semantic equivalence, contradictoriness and contrariness. The genre we chose for our analysis is the warranty certificate and the choice of this genre was made because it is part of the injunctive or instructional texts group that, in our opinion, has characteristics that favor the sampling of semantic nexus. We will analyze how the semantic nexus are used to restrict or cover the possibilities of interpretation in the warranty certificates. The corpus of this research has 22 (twenty two) copies of warranty certificates from different segments and we decided to choose certificates from separate lines to constitute an overview of the genre. The collection of the texts took place through the internet, without using any particular methodology of choice, only we pay attention to seek warranty certificates of diverse products. We seek in this research instigate reflection on the meaning relations between sentences and observance of these in instructional texts that we have contact in daily life and that, for many times, let go unnoticed its contents. The understanding of the semantic nexus can offer us tools to better read texts of this type.<br>O estudo das relações de significado entre sentenças é um campo bastante discutido e pesquisado nos estudos linguísticos. A observação de como se comportam os termos na construção de significados em textos de diversos gêneros e seus efeitos de interpretação também são temas muito difundidos entre as pesquisas das semânticas. Nesta produção discutiremos sobre as relações de significado e seus efeitos de sentido em um gênero específico. As relações que investigaremos são os nexos semânticos ou nexos de significado, como proposto por Chierchia (2003) que são respectivamente: acarretamento, equivalência semântica, contraditoriedade e contrariedade. O gênero que escolhemos para nossa análise é o certificado de garantia e a escolha de tal gênero se deu pelo fato deste fazer parte do grupo de textos injuntivos ou instrucionais que, a nosso ver, possui características que favorecem a amostragem dos nexos semânticos. Iremos analisar como os nexos semânticos são utilizados para restringir ou abranger as possibilidades de interpretação nos certificados de garantia. O corpus desta pesquisa conta com 22 (vinte e dois) exemplares de certificados de garantia de produtos de diversos segmentos e decidimos escolher certificados de produtos de linhas diversas para constituirmos um panorama sobre o gênero. A coleta dos textos se deu através da internet, sem utilizar nenhuma metodologia específica, apenas atentamos para buscar certificados de produtos variados. Buscamos nessa pesquisa instigar a reflexão sobre as relações de significado entre sentenças e a observação destas nos textos instrucionais que lidamos no dia-a-dia e que, por muitas vezes, deixamos passar despercebido o seu conteúdo. O entendimento sobre os nexos de significado pode nos oferecer ferramentas para melhor leitura de textos desse tipo.

Tesis para optar al grado de Magíster en Administración<br>Ya habían transcurrido nueve meses desde que en Septiembre del 2012 Nextel Chile,
empresa perteneciente al Holding estadounidense NII (proveedor de servicios de
comunicaciones móviles en México, Brasil, Argentina y Chile), finalizara la última etapa del
lanzamiento comercial de su nueva red de comunicaciones móviles de tercera generación
3G, cuya implementación fue un proyecto que tomó casi 3 años en su ejecución, y una
inversión superior a los U$380 millones1.
El objetivo que se había establecido, era alcanzar en 5 años una participación de mercado
del 10% del total de abonados del país2. En Junio del año 2013, cumplidos nueve meses
desde el lanzamiento de la operación 3G, la participación de mercado alcanzaba un 0,5%,
cifra que era solo un 0,04% superior a la participación con que había finalizado el año
anterior. Con esto, se estaba generando una brecha cada vez mayor entre los resultados
proyectados como meta y los que estaban siendo logrados (Ver Anexo 1).
Con estos primeros resultados, se hacía necesario revisar la estrategia y definiciones
establecidas como base para la creación de la nueva compañía. Según había señalado
Estanislao Peña cuando fue nombrado presidente de Nextel Chile a fines del 2012:
“Mi labor es acelerar y profundizar la captación de clientes de acuerdo al target que
buscamos. Yo inicio mi gestión con una empresa en operaciones, con redes, puntos de
venta y servicios en marcha. Ya no somos proyecto y todo lo que diseñamos para desafiar al
mercado chileno hoy está en marcha. Los principales ejes son claros: seguir atrayendo
clientes de alto tráfico y crecer fuerte en el mercado corporativo, dos segmentos en donde la combinación de nuestros servicios de telefonía celular y servicios integrados son muy valorados, por la eficiencia que se logran en los gastos de comunicación móvil”.
Estanislao y el Comité de Dirección debían entonces realizar los cambios y ajustes necesarios en la estrategia que permitieran asegurar el crecimiento rentable y alcanzar las metas establecidas de captación de clientes.

[104]-[105]).<br>Every year, China experiences the largest human migration in history during the 40 days of Chinese New Year (Chun Yun). It is a period when migrant workers travel from coastal industrial cities to inland rural areas for family gatherings. Just in 2012, over 235 million people migrated across the country during such short extent of event. In Guangzhou, an industrial city in China, the main rail station handles passengers of 900,000 in one week. Due to the large volume of passengers and infrequent train rides under severe winter condition, these passengers are detained for as long as a week. Waiting conditions are often harsh. Large scale of human and traffic congestions are resulted and mobility within city is greatly disturbed. An expansion of rail infrastructure and station is crucial during the high travel season. At the same time, China is experiencing a transitional economy as it is entering a post-industrial development. There is a huge need for the country to initiate a new kind of economy for further growth. Rail stations are often crucial in drawing economical developments to cities. This thesis investigates the indeterminate nature of rail stations which serves as a double agent: managing the sudden flux of Chun Yun and becoming an economical development initiator in the post Chun Yun period.<br>by Cecilia Siwai Ho.<br>M.Arch.

Polymer nanocomposites, with the huge range of property sets (both structural and functional) they can exhibit, could pave the way towards “materials by design”—one of the promises of nanotechnology. Hindering the mass adoption of polymer nanocomposites is a limited understanding of the complex relationship between processing steps, structural parameters at the nanoscale, and resulting macroscale bulk properties. To this end, the work presented in this thesis reports on the investigations of four polymer nanocomposite case studies, each addressing effects of different variables, through NEXAFS spectroscopy—a synchrotron technique that offers rich chemical and structural information. In the first case study, non-covalent interactions resulting from electrospinning of a polymer blend of polydimethylsiloxane–poly (methyl metacrate) filled with carbon nanotubes are addressed, as well as effects of nanofiller diameter. The second study investigates the thermoactive behaviour of ethylene vinyl acetate j multiwall carbon nanotube composites through in situ temperature-resolved NEXAFS spectra, and an actuation mechanism is proposed. The third case study explores ageing effects of this thermoactive nanocomposite, and reports on the lifetime of non-covalent interactions. Finally, the fourth case study explores the effects of excessive sonication, which is seen here to drastically damage nanofiller and resulting matrix–filler interactions. This work represents four additional points in a growing dataset from other studies of polymer nanocomposites that—when sufficiently populated—could be mined through clustering algorithms and machine learning approaches to extract the elusive processing–structure–property link, which will enable the wide-spread exploitation of polymer nanocomposite technology.

En la provincia de Huaura, uno de los principales factores de deserción estudiantil, es la preferencia por los trabajos agrícolas y la falta de una metodología educativa que responda a los intereses de los locales. Por ello, se planteó como proyecto de tesis, un complejo de carácter educativo-comunitario orientado a desarrollar el programa arquitectónico en relación a la pedagogía por Alternancia; la cual, reconoce la importancia de una formación técnica y básica en el medio rural. A partir de este principio, la escuela logra erigir espacios para el aprendizaje que van más allá de permanecer en las aulas y establece la distribución de estos, basado en los procesos productivos de una agroindustria. Finalmente, la propuesta arquitectónica desarrolla la apertura de los espacios físicos para permitir los nexos entre el campo y el espacio público, semi-público y privado; lo cual, incentiva la formación teórico-práctico de manera experimental y pone en valor las actividades agrícolas-pecuarias.<br>In the province of Huaura, one of the main factors of student desertion is the preference for agricultural work and the lack of an educational methodology that responds to the interests of the locals. For this reason, as a thesis project, a community-educational complex in the district of Santa María was proposed; which was oriented to develop the architectural program in relation to Alternation pedagogy; which recognizes, in rural areas, the importance of technical and basic training. In this way, it was possible to develop in the architectural proposal the nexus for the connection of the field with the public, semi-public and private space; which encourages theoretical and practical training in an experimental form and places value on agricultural-livestock activities.<br>Tesis

This report deals with an IT solution for the fictive company, Nexus Consulting. It is a small company with four employees, dealing with economic policy. The company wishes to set up a complete network environment with antivirus, firewall, computers and servers. They want us to analyze and compare different outsourcing companies offering cloud services and then recommend which company would suit them best. In addition, the company wants to have a webpage containing essential information about them and the services that they offer their customers. The report describes, analyzes and compares three outsourcing companies offering complete cloud services where a practical solution proposal has been developed by the group. The network component is based on the Windows platform and the web part is coded in HTML and PHP. The report also discusses what cloud computing is and why so many companies choose to move to it.

This research details a series of questionnaire and experimental studies investigating the structure of unassertiveness and the link between unassertiveness and depression. Seven studies with sample sizes greater than 100, were carried out. Study one focused on the design and validation of a questionnaire to measure understanding of assertive rights and assertive responsibilities. Test retest, reliability, split half reliability, internal consistency, construct validity and content validity were found to be adequate. Study two validated an amended version of the above scale. Changes in scoring method resulted in increased reliability and validity. Study three replicated and expanded Chan's (1993) study and investigated the construct of assertion in a British population, the relationship between assertiveness and assertion related rights and responsibilities and how all of these factors related to emotional disorder. Levels of understanding of assertiveness rights and assertiveness responsibilities were correlated with depression, state and trait anxiety. A step-wise regression revealed the four factors of assertion related to high levels of depression and high levels of state and trait anxiety. Study four determined the factors of depression and their predictive ability of a lack of assertiveness. Depression was factor analysed and a step wide regression demonstrated that only cognitive factors were predictive of a lack of assertiveness. Study five focused on the design and psychometric testing of a scale to measure the presence of cognitive distortions. The data collected was used to demonstrate the same forms of validity and reliability found in study one and two. Study six considered the possibility that the cognitive components of depression proposed in the literature are also present in those who lack assertiveness. Both experimental and questionnaire techniques are implemented. Stroop testing was utilised to assess attention biasing, computerised free recall memory tasks were used to assess memory biasing and cognitive depressive aetiology were assess by questionnaire. Comparisons were made between a high depression group, a low depression group a high assertion group and a low assertion group. The results demonstrate that episodes of unassertiveness are generated by an interaction between continual unassertive specific life experiences and a critical unassertive related incident. The continual presentation of negative assertion related incidents throughout life generates the activation of dysfunctional assertion related attitudes, which in turn generate and are maintained by a negative cognitive triad. Study 7 is a clinical trial, which looked at the components of study 6 in a population of 30 individuals who had been diagnosed unassertive by a clinician and were participating in an assertion training class. In this study the participants were tested before and after an assertion training course, to assess the changes that occur as a result. of assertion training. These finding corroborate that the factors found in study six generalise to a clinical population. These studies have highlighted that unassertiveness has a greater cognitive emphasis than previously thought. As a consequence of these findings a cognitive model of unassertiveness is presented.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>Partindo da constatação da emergência de uma crise ambiental planetária e das várias concepções de Educação Ambiental que têm emergido como tentativas de dialogar com tal crise, a presente tese consiste na postulação e aprofundamento de quatro enunciados expressões de problemáticas teórico-práticas,delineadas na experiência pessoal e profissional interdisciplinar da autora -, aqui apresentados na forma de indagações paradigmáticas, epistemológicas, teórico-filosóficas e político-pedagógicas. O objetivo da presente pesquisa é contribuir com o campo dos processos de educação ambiental comprometidos com os modos de singularização emancipatórios, através de proposições reflexivas que possam evidenciar outras bases epistemológicas, filosóficas e conceituais à Educação. O Enunciado I, tendo como referências, sobretudo, a lógica rizomática, de Deleuze e Guattari, a ecologia dos saberes e as epistemologias do Sul, de Santos, e o conceito de complexidade, de Morin, postula a necessidade de emergência de uma Epistemologia dos Nexos, como conjunto de epistemologias, que nos possibilite restaurar a capacidade perceptiva de leitura do mundo em sua inteligibilidade e sensibilidade relacional, complexa, de conexões com nexos, a partir da problematização de uma herança epistemológica hegemônica que, contra a diversidade epistemológica do mundo, foi tecida com os fios da trama colonialista e ocidental cristã. O Enunciado II postula uma Educação Ambiental comprometida com a diversidade de modos e formas de conhecer, de se envolver e dialogar com a realidade e a vida, para além da racionalidade moderna e o conhecimento científico, tendo como referências, sobretudo, Freire, Santos, Maturana e Leloup. O Enunciado III pretende trazer à reflexão, sobretudo com Guattari, Rolnik e Godoy, a importância dos processos subjetivos como matérias-primas e instâncias de modelização na consolidação dos modelos econômicos, que historicamente tem se mantido invisibilizados dentro dos ideários políticos e educacionais, a serviço de uma ideologia dominante. Para tanto trabalha os conceitos de subjetivação, singularização, micropolítica e perspectivas minoritárias. Flygbolaget NextJet fick i januari 2012 eget Part-145 godkännande för att till en början bedriva linjeunderhåll. Detta examensarbete har gått ut på att skapa ett förslag för hur A-checkspaketen kan se ut för flygplanstypen SAAB 340. För att göra detta, gavs det av NextJet flera manualer och dokument kring SAAB 340. Processen har därefter delats upp i fyra olika faser för att slutligen få det önskade resultatet. I fas ett gjordes en initial kartläggning av de enskilda arbetena, s.k. taskar som var kvalificerade som A-checkstaskar. I fas två gjordes en bekräftelse av kartläggningen som fas ett genererade, därefter gjordes en ny kartläggning som blev mer lovande. I den tredje fasen gjordes en zonfördelning av kartläggningen för att få en bättre överblick. I den fjärde och sista fasen valdes taskarna för respektive paket ut. Resultatet blev ett illustrerande stapeldiagram där A-checkspaketen, dess tidsåtgång och intervall framgår. Detta stapeldiagram finns att se i kapitel 3 av detta examensarbete.<br>In January 2012, the airline company NextJet got its own Part-145 approval to initially carry out line maintenance. The purpose of this thesis work has been to create a proposal for how the A-check packages could look like for the airplane SAAB 340. To do this NextJet supplied several manuals and documents on SAAB 340. The process was then divided into four different phases to finally get the desired result. In phase one an initial mapping of the A-check qualified tasks was done. Phase two was to confirm the mapping that phase one generated, then a new more promising mapping was done. In the third phase a zone breakdown of the phase two mapping was done in order to get a better overview of the tasks. In the fourth and final phase the selection of tasks for their respective packages was conducted. The result became a bar graph illustrating the A-checkpackages, its required time and intervals between them. This bar graph can be seen in chapter 3 of this thesis work.

This thesis analyses the interactions between poverty and environmental degradation and the responses given by the international organisations and the EU. The analysis on poverty and environment, at the conceptual level and their interactions demonstrates the interrelatedness of the two issues and the need for an integrated and coherent response towards poverty alleviation and reversing environmental degradation. International organisations such as UNEP, UNDP, WB, GEF, CSD, OECD and the EU have the two issues on their agenda and have devised comprehensive sets of policies to achieve sustainable development objectives.
The response of the international actors and the EU appears to be effective, however the analysis exemplifies the fragmentation and lack of coherency, as well as the existence of some policy areas that still fail to integrate poverty- environment interactions. Moreover, the reflection of the said policies into decisive actions has also remained limited.

For nearly three centuries following the enactment of the world’s first modern copyright statute, neither copyright law nor copyright holders interfered with individuals’ intellectual privacy—individuals’ freedom to access and enjoy creative works anonymously or in private. Neither Rights of Man, nor The Clockmaker were delivered to readers on condition that they provide detailed personal information to the author, publisher or bookseller; nor were readers monitored in their enjoyment of the works. Contrasted against this historical backdrop, late in the twentieth century and continuing into the twenty-first century—concurrent with the rise and spread of digital networks and the increasing digitization of copyright works—the centuries-old relationship between copyright holders and individuals became strained. In particular, the relationship between copyright law, copyright holders and individuals’ intellectual privacy came into tension. This dissertation proffers a description of intellectual privacy and, without making empirical claims, asks whether diminishing it in the name of copyright holders’ interests will lead to the impoverishment of the very copyright kingdoms that we purport to be protecting in so doing. In response to this question, this dissertation tests the hypothesis that individuals’ intellectual privacy is an essential component of copyright as a consistent and unified whole (even if it may mean that some individual copyright holders are not improved) and that copyright law can and should explicitly internalize protection of intellectual privacy. Ultimately, this dissertation formulates principles and five basic recommendations for rules to account for intellectual privacy within the legal concept of copyright. This dissertation concludes with a look ahead to further work to be done in the area.

This study is about discourses of bilingualism in Bolzano-Bozen, Italy, and what they reveal about language, identity, hegemony and the production of social space. The theoretical and methodological framework I use is Nexus Analysis and Geosemiotics: approaches developed by Scollon and Wong Scollon (2004 and 2003, respectively). These approaches have revealed how and why place names, their public placement, Fascist-era monuments and bilingual education maintained a constant presence, under broader discourses on bilingualism, during the research period. Nexus Analysis focuses on social action and Geosemiotics pays meticulous attention to fundamental aspects of signs, including where they are in the material world, and how social actors interact with them. This has led to an investigation of the historical past, and how this is represented, understood and indexed in the present by those who align (or not) to ideologies of language and nation. In the complex multilingual context of this study, this approach has revealed how such ideologies are mobilized to contest ownership of geographic place and to make social space. I have traced discourses across disparate discursive genres, to reveal the complex interrelationships between language and other social semiotic data in discourses on bilingualism in Bolzano-Bozen through time, and across space.

Previous issue date: 2013<br>In this paper peasant economic behavior will be studied using sustainability as a nexus and from a theoretical and normative point of view, first within the framework of “metaeconomy”, concept created by Ernst Friedrich Schumacher, and secondly within the framework of the prevalent microeconomic theory. Sustainability is generally considered to be a problem whose solution is socially and globally important and this work will analyze the tendency and potential of the peasant to promote this solution. This paper will tackle “metaeconomy” as a normative reference to promote sustainability and allow the justification of the consistence and plausibility of peasant behavior. Schumacher’s work is studied along four lines: his criticism of neoclassical economic science and three of his propositions, the importance of people in the economy, “being small” and “appropriate technology”. Together, it is considered that these three concepts evoke all the rest of the concepts belonging to “metaeconomy”. With a basis in the economic practices of the peasant and in his conformity with “metaeconomy” this work attempts to represent his behavior using microeconomic formalism and growth patterns, creating a “microeconomic peasant model” of production and growth. The model is presented via matrixes in which the stocks and physical flows are present as well a model of accountancy based on the fact that the peasant is at once producer, consumer and investor. Finally, I argue that this theoretical-normative peasant model is consistent and compatible with the sustainability requirements for human beings and their environment. This work is based on analysis of available literature. Its objective is to contribute to Schumacher’s call for the study of a more human economy.<br>Nesse trabalho, tendo a sustentabilidade como nexo, sob um ponto de vista teórico e normativo, se estuda o comportamento econômico camponês, primeiro, nos limites da “metaeconomia”, conceito elaborado por Ernst Friedrich Schumacher, e segundo, nos limites da teoria microeconômica vigente. Considera-se consensual ser a sustentabilidade um problema cuja solução é de interesse social e global e analisa-se a propensão e potencialidade do camponês para promovê-la. Aborda-se a “metaeconomia” como um referencial normativo que promove sustentabilidade e que possibilita justificar a consistência e plausibilidade do comportamento camponês. O trabalho de Schumacher é estudado sobre quatro eixos: a sua crítica à ciência econômica neoclássica e três das suas proposições, a da prevalência da pessoa na economia, a de “ser pequeno” e a das “tecnologias apropriadas”. Considera-se que essas três evocam todas as demais proposições da “metaeconomia”. Com base na prática econômica do camponês e na sua conformidade com a “metaeconomia” procura-se representar o seu comportamento com uso do formalismo da microeconomia e dos modelos de crescimento, constituindo-se assim um “modelo microeconômico camponês” de produção e de crescimento. O modelo é apresentado na forma de matrizes nas quais estão presentes estoques e fluxos físicos e uma contabilidade que leva em conta o fato de o camponês ser ao mesmo tempo produtor, consumidor e investidor. Ao final, argumenta-se que o modelo camponês, teórico-normativo, é consistente e compatível com os requisitos da sustentabilidade do ser humano e do seu meio. O trabalho se fundamenta na análise da literatura disponível. Objetiva-se contribuir com a chamada de Schumacher para o estudo de uma economia mais humana.

Climate change is a natural cyclical phenomenon and throughout our planet's existence there have been sustained periods of heating and cooling. These periods are often referred to as "ice ages" and "interglacials" respectively. Scientists attributed warms oceans and carbon dioxide released from the oceans as the reason for global warming in the past. However, human activities of the recent past, mainly the burning of fossil fuel has seen an amplification of global temperature at a scale never seen before. This unprecedented change in our environment, as per scientists will have adverse side effects and have a long-term impact in our world. The most likely effects of climate change will be; heatwave, drought, glacier melts, sea level rise, erratic precipitation and erosions depending on a particular geographical location.
The socio-economic impact of climate change could be a severe one too. Heat and drought could have major impact on agriculture, food and forests. United Nations data released in 2016 suggests that by the year 2050, more than 50 percent of the world's population will face a dearth of fresh water sources. It is also predicted that water scarcity will most likely result in diseases, unemployment and poverty. Energy use is also likely to increase with the greater need for air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winters. In cases where a region can't cope with these consequences, mass migration in search of better conditions is also likely. Physical and economic infrastructure will be tested by severe weather, flooding, wildfires and other phenomena.
Data published by the United Nations in 2014 estimated that more than 50% of the world's total population lives in the urban areas and soon that number is likely to increase to 60%. In conjunction with climate change, this will mean more strain on already stretched resources in urban ecosystems. Also, with data suggesting that many people will migrate due to unemployment and poverty because of climate change, it is highly likely urban regions will have to accommodate that population too.
The intertwined nexus of freshwater shortage, food, water and energy security is an issue we are already grappling with today, which is likely to be exacerbated in the future. These issues cannot be reviewed and analyzed as separate phenomena, but rather as a single intertwined phenomenon. The solution of the problem, hence, should be treated as the same.<br>Master of Architecture<br>This thesis, initially, investigates the phenomenon of climate change, and the likely challenges that it might pose in the future. Sustained periods of heating and cooling is a natural cyclical process, but human activities of the recent past has amplified global warning. This, according to scientists, will impact earth in the long run, and will have climatological and socio economic consequences.
Water scarcity, droughts, sea level rise, mass migration are identified as problems that could intensify in the future. At various regions across the world, we are already facing these issues at different scales.
This thesis, hence identifies the most pertinent future challenges and simulates those with existing societal challenges. The aim of the thesis is to provide an integrated and holistic plan to address the issues at hand with a view that the approach would also adapt to and mitigate issues in the future. Natural cycles and resources are used as a model to develop a mechanism to create a built environment for a small, self sustaining community.
The proposed design is a prototype for a particular climatic scheme, but could be altered to fit other climatic criteria. The scheme through, research, addresses contemporary societal needs and tries to provide a solution contingencies of climate change.

Cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix is mediated by the integrin family of adhesion receptors. Integrin receptor engagement initiates the formation of multimolecular protein complexes, termed integrin adhesion complexes (IACs), at the cell membrane. IACs are complex signalling hubs that are enriched in tyrosine-based phosphorylation events and form a mechanochemical connection between integrin receptors and the actin cytoskeleton. Dysregulation of individual IAC components has been reported to influence a wide range of biological processes that contribute to disease. Literature-curated and proteomic analyses of IACs have revealed an unanticipated molecular complexity of IACs in a variety of experimental contexts; however, a global consensus view of the composition of IACs, and a description of how the complex network of interactions in IACs influences global cell function, is currently lacking. Here, multiple existing and new proteomic datasets detailing the protein composition of IACs were analysed to identify a systems-level description of IACs and to enable interrogation of IAC structure, topology and dynamics. Quantitative IAC proteomes derived from multiple cell types were integrated to generate a 2,412-protein ‘meta-adhesome’ database of proteins enriched to fibronectin-induced IACs. To investigate the putative functional adhesion landscape in an objective manner, the meta-adhesome was analysed using a combination of hierarchical clustering, gene ontology and interaction network analyses. An emergent property of the meta-adhesome was the definition of a consensus adhesome: 60 proteins commonly identified from IAC datasets that likely represent an IAC protein core composition. The consensus adhesome highlights how integrins connect to actin via multiple pathways and consists of both canonical and underappreciated IAC components. To investigate the robustness of the IAC network, the effects of pharmacological perturbation of the key IAC kinases FAK and Src on IACs were examined. FAK activity was inhibited with the small molecule inhibitor AZ13256675, and mass spectrometry-based protein quantification revealed that IAC protein composition was unaffected upon FAK inhibition. Moreover, IAC composition was also insensitive to Src inhibition using AZD0530 and to simultaneous FAK and Src inhibition. In contrast, phosphorylation of IAC components, cell migration and cell proliferation were reduced upon FAK and/or Src inhibition. These data suggest that IAC protein composition is robust to perturbation of key kinases, while flux of signals propagated through IACs via phosphorylation is kinase dependent. To examine IAC dynamics, the composition of IACs during IAC assembly and IAC disassembly were examined in the context of the meta-adhesome and consensus adhesome using IAC proteomic datasets. These analyses revealed the temporal dynamics of specific functional protein modules at IACs and detailed the compositional dynamics of the core cell adhesion machinery. In summary, these studies describe both a systems-level and a reductionist view of the IAC proteome, investigate the effects of kinase inhibition on IAC composition and chart IAC dynamics during their assembly and disassembly. These data demonstrate the usefulness of the meta-adhesome and consensus adhesome for future analyses of IAC proteomes.

Nextjet anser att de har ett ofördelaktigt beställnings- och lagerhållningssystem av reservdelar, och mest problem är det med o-ringarna och skruvarna. Beställning sker oftast först när ett behov uppstår vilket ibland kan leda till att plan blir stående och därmed att potentiella intäkter uteblir. I denna studie har en lagerstyrningsstrategi framställts för o-ringarna och skruvarna i Nextjets reservdelslager. Under studiens gång genomfördes en artikelklassificering av o-ringarna och skruvarna på grund av att många av artiklarna hade en liknande karaktäristik. En lagerstyrningsmetod har sedan upprättats för vardera grupp som uppstått. De metoder som använts var beställningspunkt, återfyllnadsnivå och lot-for-lot. Resultatet av lagerstyrningsstrategierna har lett till att både kapitalbindningen och lagernivåerna har minskat i jämfört med nuläget samtidigt som risken för brist har minskat drastiskt. Lagernivåerna minskar med drygt 1000 artiklar och den maximala kapitalbindningen minskar med nästan 100 000 SEK i jämförelse med vad den är i nuläget.
