A sample of energy sales of the branches of Taiwan Power Company, including Hualien, Kaohsiung, Taichung and Taipei city, is employed from July 1998 to December 2015, totaling 210 months. Applying the business indicators in Taiwan published by the National Development Council and the highest and lowest points of the stock market index, we analyze the lead-lag relations of the change of energy sales and the business cycles.
