Mudharabah financing investment, also known as trust financing, is a method of distributing funds in Sharia banking to comply with the religious prohibition of interest on loans. However, the use of legal protection has not been maximized in increasing the growth of mudharabah financing investment products, especially for SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), due to the complicated process of filing and guarantees needed by the bank. This study, therefore aims to implement adequate investment funds sharing agreement in Indonesia’s Sharia Banking System for mudharabah investments to be felt in all categories. The result showed that regulatory restructuring is needed for the application of mudharabah investment to be a real sector driver without eliminating the purity of Islamic principles.

Dissemination or delivery of information carried out on online information systems can be accessed by anyone and anywhere with the provision that they must have an internet connection. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution through the study of several theories and observations in the design of a web-based inheritance distribution expert system. The author uses the forward chaining method in designing an expert system. The application development methodology that I use is the ESDLC (Expert System Develop Life Cycle) method. The expected result of this research is the creation of an application design that can simplify the process of calculating inheritance in accordance with Islamic perspective because inheritance is often crucial which sometimes triggers disputes and causes rifts in family relationships and crime. Therefore we need an expert system that can assist in performing calculations.</p>

Anthropological studies reveal the development of the life of ancient Tamils hierarchical development. The lives of the people in the hunting community, i.e., the ethnic social status, are found in other forms in the feudal society that followed. The division is the division. The hunting community is feeding food because it cannot be stored. In feudal society, too, such a baddeity was transformed into hospitality. The distribution of the looted goods has also been transformed into a fly. It may be said that the function of sharing in cultural life was in the social position of the ethnic group. Even today, such a practice of sharing is seen among the tribalpeople. It is said that the ancient Tamils adopted sharing in alternative forms. Anthropologists refer to sharng as the custom of the early ethnic communities. In the sangam society, which was a feudal society, there was a baddita. It is seen that in the purananuru songs, they attracted the aniyars and made them into themselves.

Recently, data-based administration is being activated to strengthen the ability to predict and respond to disasters. Accordingly, the importance of efficient decision-making using disaster safety information and data and preparation of prediction and response plans is emerging. Therefore, this study analyzed the current state of the disaster safety management information system for practical collection and sharing of distributed disaster safety data and information and application of a user-centered sharing platform. Problems were derived and the development direction of the disaster safety data sharing platform currently under construction was proposed. As a result of the analysis, many of the problems in the disaster safety knowledge information sharing system that have been continuously pointed out in the past have not been improved. Problems of the disaster safety knowledge sharing platform include the lack of data provider institutions, limited disaster type classification, lack of real-time disaster situation information, lack of visualization and analysis functions, and lack of network communities among users. As an improvement plan, a data connection plan and a plan to provide information for each stage of disaster management were presented. In addition, diversification of data format and strengthening of networking among users were suggested.

Electronic health records (EHRs) are important assets of the healthcare system and should be shared among medical practitioners to improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis. Blockchain technology has been investigated and adopted in healthcare as a solution for EHR sharing while preserving privacy and security. Blockchain can revolutionize the healthcare system by providing a decentralized, distributed, immutable, and secure architecture. However, scalability has always been a bottleneck in blockchain networks due to the consensus mechanism and ledger replication to all network participants. Sharding helps address this issue by artificially partitioning the network into small groups termed shards and processing transactions parallelly while running consensus within each shard with a subset of blockchain nodes. Although this technique helps resolve issues related to scalability, cross-shard communication overhead can degrade network performance. This study proposes a transaction-based sharding technique wherein shards are formed on the basis of a patient’s previously visited health entities. Simulation results show that the proposed technique outperforms standard-based healthcare blockchain techniques in terms of the number of appointments processed, consensus latency, and throughput. The proposed technique eliminates cross-shard communication by forming complete shards based on “the need to participate” nodes per patient.

The profit-sharing system is the main characteristic of Islamic banking that distinguishes them from conventional (ribawi) banking. However, in reality, the profit-sharing contract is rarely implemented in Islamic banking. As a result, Islamic banking is still identified as ribawi banking. Many Islamic economists have examined the reasons behind fixed income contracts, especially murabahah contract that applied predominantly, structurally, systematically and massively compared to the profit-sharing contract. Therefore, with a critical analytical approach, this study aims to dismantle and look for solution towards exploitation of fixed income-based financing in Indonesian sharia banking. The results of this study are fixed income-based financing should be applied limited to covering the operational costs of Islamic banks but the remainder must be channelled based on profit-sharing systems. Meanwhile, funding for profit-sharing systems is intended to gain profits and cover the operational cost variables. Thus, predatory exploitation of Islamic banks in Indonesia can be minimized by maintaining the composition of the maximum financing about forty per cent which is a fixed-yield based and leave the rest to a profit-sharing system. Then, the more equitable Islamic bank system and Islamic economic goals will be created and offer benefits such as the achieving of the objectives of Islamic sharia (maqashid shariah) and minimizing the image of Islamic banks as ribawi bank.

Abstract Language is a cognitively demanding human trait, but it is also a fundamentally cooperative enterprise that rests on the motivation to share information. Great apes possess many of the cognitive prerequisites for language, but largely lack the motivation to share information. Callitrichids (including marmosets and tamarins) are highly vocal monkeys that are more distantly related to humans than great apes are, but like humans, they are cooperative breeders and all group members help raising offspring. Among primates, this rearing system is correlated with proactive prosociality, which can be expressed as motivation to share information. We therefore propose that the unique coincidence of these two components in humans set the stage for language evolution: The cognitive component inherited from our great ape-like ancestors, and the motivational one added convergently as a result of cooperative breeding. We evaluate this scenario based on a review of callitrichd vocal communication and show that furthermore, they possess many of the mechanistic elements emphasized by the mirror system hypothesis of language evolution. We end by highlighting how more systematic phylogenetic comparisons will enable us to further promote our understanding of the role of cooperative breeding during language evolution.

Sharia Bank is one of the financial institutions that provide services with sharia principles. In this case, Islamic banks refer to a system of banking activities that are consistent with sharia principles. Shari'a principles emphasize more on moral and ethical values in all transactions carried out. Sharia prohibits the payment or receipt of interest charges or usury. There are various kinds of products offered by Islamic banking such as savings, financing, to various other service products. To understand this, through this research, the products offered by Islamic banks to avoid usury are formulated, namely Mudharabah products with a profit-sharing system. To implement the profit-sharing system, Islamic banks use two methods in determining the margin and ratio, namely profit-loss sharing and revenue-sharing methods. Keywords: Islamic Bank, Mudharabah Agreement, Margin and Ratio, Profit loss sharing, Revenue sharing.

Purpose Inter-organizational knowledge sharing systems (IOKSS) are crucial for scientific, social and economic development especially in knowledge-intensive sectors. Knowledge sharing processes and systems will not only be challenged by individual and organizational factors but also by social, technical and political inter-organizational factors. This paper aims to investigate the impact of knowledge worker, peer, IOKSS, organization and sector factors on knowledge workers’ intention to share knowledge through IOKSS. Knowledge workers are the key stakeholders that enable the survival of IOKSS. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected, through a questionnaire, from knowledge workers in the education and the health sectors. Findings This study found that the human factors (related to knowledge workers and their peers) have significant direct impact on intention to share knowledge through IOKSS. Other factors, such as IOKSS system, organization and sector factors showed indirect impacts on knowledge workers’ intention to share knowledge through IOKSS. Such investigation can be very valuable for developing countries as technological innovations such as IOKSS can be crucial for training and building human resources, and national knowledge management. Originality/value Little is empirically known about the enablers of sharing knowledge in systems that connect organizations in horizontal linkage in a specific sector or industry. The study also adds value to under investigated region.

Sharing economy is a system which functions successfully provided that technological and social subsystems complement each other forming an indivisibly combined cohesive structure. The premise of balancing social and technological aspects is proposed in the socio-technological theory. Social issues call for social innovation to fulfil the needs and requirements of the society as well as individual citizens. The goal of this paper is to fill the gap in the extant literature by proposing a comprehensive framework of sharing economy based on the socio-technological theory. This study carried out a systematic literature review of works on sharing economy and socio-technological theory in order to develop a conceptual framework. There were identified different social motives associated with each of the subsystems; interplay between them was established. This study contributes to the increasing research by presenting a holistic view of sharing economy through the theoretical lens of socio-technology keeping society as well as consumer needs and requirements at its focal point.

In this paper, a proposal for the development of a neighbourhood network (n-network) automatic power sharing system that will bring about regulatory paradigm and mobilization of the private sector to lead in deployment of clean energy solutions while letting local residents to buy (consumer) and sell (producer) electricity among the neighbours is presented. Here the neighbourhoods become prosumers. Until now, electricity production and supply has traditionally been implemented via a centralized grid where the power generation companies otherwise known as GenCos generate electricity that is fed through the grid to individual homes. The proposed solution aims to create a peer-to-peer trading system where consumers will identify each other’s needs and willingness to buy and sell electricity. This offers the chance to bypass the traditional electricity grid and create a viable generation and storage microgrid that functions independently.

Abstract: Carsharing initiatives can aid in addressing various urban issues by providing access to shared vehicles while restricting the use of private cars. With the growth of the Internet of Things, individuals can use their mobile devices to carry out basic tasks and access shared cars. However, such programs have security concerns, as confidential information, including user identification, location data, and access codes, is transmitted through public channels. This makes it possible for attackers to obtain this information for malicious purposes, underscoring the importance of developing a reliable authentication protocol to enhance security.

First, the proposed P2P system makes it impossible for third parties to identify the participants involved. Second, the proposed P2P system can guarantee that only the content receiver knows the content. Third, the proposed P2P system can allow the content publisher to plausibly deny that the content originated from him or her.

Abstract: Shared vehicles provided by car-sharing systems can help address several issues in cities, such as reducing the use of personal cars. The popularity of the Internet of Things has made it easier for people to access shared cars through simple mobile operations. However, the car-sharing system has vulnerabilities in terms of security, such as sensitive user data transmitted through public channels, which could be accessed by attackers for illegal purposes. Therefore, it's crucial to establish a secure authentication protocol. In addition, the traditional centralized car-sharing system has a single point of failure, necessitating a decentralized car-sharing scheme, which was proposed in this study using blockchain technology. This model ensures data integrity and offers a decentralized vehicle-sharing service with anonymous authentication of participating entities. The proposed car-sharing system provides mutual authentication, protects against several attacks, and was analyzed for computation and communication costs. The proposed blockchain-based decentralized car-sharing scheme has several advantages over the traditional centralized model. For example, it eliminates the need for a trusted third party. the proposed blockchain-based decentralized car-sharing scheme offers a more secure and efficient approach to car-sharing, addressing several security issues associated with traditional centralized models. It ensures data integrity and provides mutual authentication while offering anonymity to participating entities, making it a promising solution for car-sharing systems in smart cities. to maintain the integrity of the system, as blockchain technology is based on a distributed ledger that allows participants to validate transactions. Additionally, the anonymity of the participating entities ensures privacy while providing security against unauthorized access to sensitive data. Moreover, the proposed scheme's security was analyzed using several methods, such as informal analysis, AVISPA simulation, and BAN logic evaluation, to ensure the system's resilience to various attacks.

As a new force for online reconstruction, blockchain will bring major changes to resource-sharing activities and information service organizations. The research introduces blockchain and related technologies, provides two basic ways of sharing data sources, and conducts two extensive information source sharing based on blockchain. The article analyzes the various challenges that need to be overcome to implement a blockchain-based information sharing system and suggests that project information service organizations should actively deal with the challenges brought about by blockchain. Experimental research is being conducted on a blockchain-based control system, and a blockchain-based blockchain management system is being developed. On the basis of system analysis and design, the most important functional components of the software system are developed. They include functions such as recording customers, logging in, storing information, printing device information, invoking server-side smart contracts, and conducting audit management. It uses decentralized payments and statistical aggregation of data. The experimental results show that the efficiency of using the blockchain information sharing mechanism in the management system is 35% higher than that of the traditional method, which can more effectively deal with the problem of information delay during the project management process.

Leakage of user privacy and vandalism of the sharing bike have been the most serious problem since sharing bike came on the scene. Accordingly, it is very urgent to rebuild the underlying trust mechanism. Most bike sharing systems are centralized, leading to overpressure on the central server. This paper proposes a bike sharing system based on blockchain service platform and a shared operation mode of C2C. The system uses the blockchain system as the trust guarantee. The extra chain payment - lightning network is used to improve the efficiency of the blockchain system and the smart contract is used to provide the rights and interests of the two parties.

Following the bike-sharing system, the shared e-bike becomes increasingly popular due to the advantage in speed, trip distance, and so forth. However, limited research has investigated the impact of the introduction of shared e-bikes on the existing bike-sharing systems. This paper aims to study the effect of shared e-bikes on the traditional bike-sharing system and determine the optimal fleet deployment strategy under a bimodal transportation system. A stochastic multiperiod optimisation model is formulated to capture the demand uncertainty of travelers. The branch-and-bound algorithm is applied to solve problem. A 15-station numerical example is applied to examine the validity of the model and the effectiveness of the solution algorithm. The performance of integrated e-bike and bike-sharing system has been compared with the traditional bike-sharing system. The impacts of the charging efficiency, fleet size, and pricing strategy of e-bike-sharing system on the traditional bike-sharing system have been examined.

In this article we discuss how knowledge sharing that takes place between scientists working on complex Science and Technology projects is related to the knowledge sharing that takes place among actors of the innovation system. Governments’ role in constructing and managing National Innovation Systems and the role of effective knowledge sharing on S&T projects are emphasized. Leadership, support and clear vision by the government are essential for framework establishment and policy design facilitating effective interaction among research institutes, universities and firms which would enables knowledge sharing both on macro level, between innovation system actors , and on micro level, between scientists working on projects. Generating relevant knowledge flows, would help countries like Croatia, which are lagging behind in the innovation race, to establish knowledge based economies, consequently resulting in higher competitiveness and market success. Only through effective knowledge sharing both on micro and macro level can the optimal result be reached.

The population and samples are the society in Blitar, Jombang, and Madiun. The result of the qualitative analysis showed that there are three (3) models of implementasion in cow-calf lease agreement (gaduh) and share farming (paron) system. The first model implements profit sharing system by taking maintenance cost into account. The second model implements sharing system as well but it takes farming workers in the deficit of profit cost into account. The revenue that is based on profit sharing is still in 50:50. While the third model uses revenue sharing system without taking administration and workers cost as the cost component. However, the revenue proportion becomes 75:25. Those models are reviewed from shariah perspective, economic perspective and cultural perspective. From quantitative analysis showed that economic perspective has bigger influence.</p><p><br />Keywords: Economic Perspectives, Mixed Method, Profit Sharing, Revenue, Shariah Perspective</p>

Abstract Based on neural machine translation, this article introduced the ConvS2S system and transformer system, designed a semantic sharing combined transformer system to improve translation quality, and compared the three systems on the NIST dataset. The results showed that the operation speed of the semantic sharing combined transformer system was the highest, reaching 3934.27 words per second; the BLEU value of the ConvS2S system was the smallest, followed by the transformer system and the semantic sharing combined transformer system. Taking NIST08 as an example, the BLEU values of the designed system were 4.74 and 1.49 higher than the other two systems. The analysis of examples showed that the semantic sharing combined transformer had higher translation quality. The experimental results show that the proposed system is reliable in English content translation and can be further promoted and applied in practice.

Understanding the complexity of earth-system processes is crucial to convey improved information on the environment to decision-makers and the general public. Addressing this need by sharing environmental data is challenging because it requires a common agreed framework that allows easy and seamless integration of data from different sources. In this regard, the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) portends major benefits through various sharing mechanisms and by giving access to services that could be linked together to process and generate new understandable knowledge and information. Various United Nations projects could greatly benefit from the GEOSS approach.

Sharing data among organizations plays an important role in security and data mining. In this paper, the authors describe a Data Sharing Miner and Analyzer (DASMA) system that simulates data sharing among N organizations. Each organization has its own enforced policy. The N organizations share their data based on trusted third party. The system collects the released data from each organization, processes it, mines it, and analyzes the results. Sharing in DASMA is based on trusted third parties. However, organizations may encode some attributes, for example. Each organization has its own policy represented in XML format. This policy states what attributes can be released, encoded, and randomized. DASMA processes the data set and collects the data, combines it, and prepares it for mining. After mining, a statistical report is produced stating the similarities between mining with data sharing and mining without sharing. The authors test, apply data sharing, enforce policy, and analyze the results of two separate datasets in different domains. The results indicate a fluctuation on the amount of information loss using different releasing factors.

PurposeOrganizations increasingly develop and offer sharing services enabled by means of product-service systems (PSS). However, organizations offering sharing-based PSS face a unique set of design challenges and operational risks. The purpose of this paper is to provide researchers and practitioners with customer-based insights into service delivery system design and risk management for sharing-based PSS operational success.Design/methodology/approachThis qualitative study combines in-depth interviews with supplementary, multidisciplinary literature and secondary firm data. In total, the authors conducted 56 semi-structured interviews with diverse customers across different business-to-customer (B2C) PSS settings.FindingsFirst, the authors develop an integrative conceptual framework that reveals what structural and infrastructural design choices customer expect organizations to make for mitigating risks and enhancing customer-perceived value in the sharing economy. These design choices may influence customers' trust and control perceptions in all actors involved in the service delivery system. Second, the results suggest that sharing value proposition, customer-perceived level of consequentiality and level of customer-supplied resources are contingency factors that need to be considered when making design decisions for risk management in the sharing economy.Originality/valueThis study extends Sampson's Unified Service Theory by proposing that, with sharing-based PSS, production flows from customers to customers. This situation creates unique challenges for operations management. This paper extends current understanding of the role, characteristics and contingencies of service delivery system design for risk management in the sharing economy. In doing so, authors challenge common wisdom and suggest understanding both the organizational and customers' individual contexts is critical for (contingency) theory and practice.
