A presente dissertação consiste num projeto educativo que prevê a edição de um livro de nove peças para violino e piano baseado em músicas tradicionais portuguesas. O objetivo é de incluir a canção portuguesa como mais uma forma metódica e pedagógica para o aluno e assim dar-lhe a oportunidade de este se familiarizar desde muito cedo com uma fonte musical e cultural do seu próprio país de origem. Beethoven’s Op.12 compose with three sonatas for piano and violin, and this work is the first of them, composed of three movements.
