A pesquisa não nega a eficiência dos métodos e normas aplicados à Qualidade, nas organizações. Todavia, mostra que, a partir das conseqüências sobre a redução do trabalho contido e do aumento das tarefas automatizadas, homens são reduzidos a estatutos de máquinas, gerando uma crise ética. Uma vez constatada a crise social de valores morais submetidos às contingências, à opressão e à miséria, Noam Chomsky sugere uma forma inusitada de ativismo político em prol dos oprimidos. Os seus estudos acadêmicos acerca da Linguagem e o entendimento das referências teóricas que encontra na filosofia de Platão, nos filósofos das Luzes, no pensamento anarquista e nos elementos fundamentais da teoria da Catástrofe, levam-no a proclamar o ideal de uma Ética Universal Absoluta<br>Abstract: This work opposes the hegemonic speech of the Quality, practiced in the great companies, to Noam Chomsky's perspective, in what concems to the crisis of values and the ethical problems that come in the relationship among the matter, the man, and the universal, that is wanted as liberal world. The research doesn't deny the efficiency of the methods and norms applied to the Quality, in the organizations. Though, I show that, starting ITom the consequences about the reduction of the contained work and of the increase of the automated tasks, men are reduced to statutes of machines, generating an ethical crisis. Once verified the social crisis of moral values submitted to the contingencies, to the oppression and the poverty, Noam Chomsky suggests an unusual form of political activism on behalf of the oppressed ones. Through construction of human nature concept developed by the linguist (suggestive model), there is an important mediation between language and politics. Chomsky's methodology constitutes a vigorous effort to build a mediation of human action related to the socialism and to the freedom. The language linked to human knowledge reflects the essential properties of the spirit. The epistemological reflection raised by the analysis of language, despite its technical counterpoints, such as the linguistic science, feeds a philosophical range with ramifications in the fields of ethics, political philosophy and aesthetics, even coming to a social theory. This thesis argues that Noam Chomsky’s theory of propaganda is a useful way to understand class domination. The strengths and weaknesses of Chomsky’s theory are examined by means of a comparison with Antonio Gramsci’s theory of cultural hegemony. Since work that discusses and analyses Chomsky’s theory is sparse, this piece first gives a detailed explanation of his theory. This requires a short clarification of Chomsky’s terminology, focusing on his definitions of indoctrination and class. Thereafter a thorough account of Chomsky’s ideas regarding class structure, the indoctrinating functions of educational and media institutions and the difference between upper and lower class propaganda are discussed. A common criticism of Chomsky’s arguments is that they are conspiratorial. Thus, following the discussion of Chomsky’s theory I present an argument that Chomsky uses an institutional analysis as opposed to conspiracy theory to reach his conclusions. After arguing that Chomsky has a coherent, logical theory of propaganda that is not conspiratorial, this thesis shifts to a comparison of Chomsky and Gramsci’s theory. The elements of Gramsci’s theory that are relevant to Chomsky are discussed, focusing on their overall similarities, in particular, the question of consent. The final chapter consists of a comparison of the two theories, examining each theorist’s ideas on the nature of education, language, consent and the possible ways in which the lower classes can oppose their own oppression.

Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit zwei ebenso alten wie bis in die Gegenwart bedeutsamen kontroversen Positionen in der Philosophie- und Wissenschaftsgeschichte: Einerseits dem Nativismus, der davon ausgeht, dass (wesentliche) Ideen in den Menschen eingeboren sind, hier vertreten durch die Position Noam Chomskys, dessen Arbeiten über universelle Grammatik die Linguistik im 20. Jahrhundert revolutionierten und weitreichende Auswirkungen auf Philosophie und Kognitionswissenschaften hatten. Dem gegenübergestellt wird die Position von Jean Piaget, der als Entwicklungspsychologe aus seiner Arbeit mit Kindern ein radikal konstruktivistisches Stufenmodell der Erkenntnisentwicklung vom Baby bis zum wissenschaftsfähigen Erwachsenen entwickelt hat, das auf angeborene Ideen verzichtet. Dargestellt werden historische und erkenntnistheoretische Hintergründe dieser interdisziplinären Streitfrage und die Argumente beider Positionen.

Composee de neuf etudes, la these a pour objectif d'effectuer un examen minutieux d'un certain nombre de questions centrales soulevees au cours du &lt;&gt;, et de prolonger ces donnees dans une analyse specifiquement consacree a la reflexion linguistique, a la reflexion ethique et a la reflexion theologique. L'examen est dirige par trois questions principales : les grands debats metaphilosophiques du siecle, qui portent sur le statut de la philosophie au sein de la culture (les quatre premieres etudes) ; la critique du scientisme et du logicisme abstraits (la cinquieme etude) ; la controverse sur les methodes en sciences humaines (la sixieme etude). La septieme etude poursuit la "grammaire generative" de chomsky dans une perspective degagee des debats metaphilosophiques, afin d'operer un passage au seuil de la pragmatique proprement dite. La huitieme etude montre de quelle maniere, restant toujours au niveau de la pragmatique, le sujet parlant s'implique ethiquement dans son acte de discours. A partir d'une conjonction entre pragmatique et hermeneutique, la derniere etude caracterise la reflexion des theologiens comme une &lt;&gt; des jeux de langage theologique<br>Composed of nine studies, this thesis has for its objective to make a detailed examination of a number of central questions which have been raised in light of the "hermeneutic-pragmatic turn", and to prolong this examination in one analysis which is specifically consecrated to the linguistic, ethical and theological reflection. This examination is directed by three principal questions : the great metaphilosophical debates of this century (the first four studies) ; the criticism of abstract scientism and logicism (the fifth study) ; the controversy concerning the methods in human sciences (the sixth study). The seventh study pursues critivally chomsky's "generative grammar" of chomsky for the purpose of arriving at the pragmatic of language. The eighth study demonstrates in what manner the subject who speaks implicates himself ethically in his act of discourse. From the conjunction between pragmatic and hermeneutic, the last study characterizes the reflection of theologians as a &lt;&gt; of theological language games
