The complex nonlinearities of hypersonic vehicles can lead to strong couplings between variables, which will bring great challenges to flight control. For this purpose, this paper proposes a novel coupling analysis method for the longitudinal dynamics of a hypersonic vehicle, based on which a coordination controller is designed to reduce the negative effects of the couplings. Initially, according to the coupling characteristics of the hypersonic vehicle, a novel coupling analysis method based on the dynamic equations is proposed to describe the dynamic coupling relationships between variables.

Resumen
In this paper we study the origins of the cross coupling phenomenon in MEMS nanopositioners with a parallel kinematic mechanism. An analytical model is provided for a generic 2-DOF MEMS nanopositioner. The model accounts for the potential mechanical asymmetries present in the device due to micro-fabrication imperfections. Simulations are performed based on the obtained model and compared with experimental data from a previously reported MEMS nanopositioner. A close agreement is observed between the analytical and experimental results, leading to a better understanding of the phenomenon.

Resumen
A novel hyperbolic composite coupling is proposed. In addition to enjoying the advantages of composite materials, the proposed coupling can be readily integrated with composite drive shaft into a single unit. A mathematical model of the coupling is developed based on the Timoshenko beam theory using the energy approach and the extended Lagrange’s equations. The corresponding discrete equation of vibration is obtained using the finite element method and solved for the natural frequencies using MATLAB.
