Texto completoThis thesis objectives to address the relationship between work and mental health from ergological notion of the use of oneself and also the one from psychoanalytic symptom, aiming mainly to research and do clinical intervention. In order to do that, we tried to correlate the discursive bases which support and subsidize the practices in both analytical and ergological devices, finding their interfaces and specificities. To think of the use of oneself in the symptoms with work aims to make it clear the unique functioning way of each subject in both dimensions, meaning and reference, which comprise the symptom when facing the working environment. Since the symptom is what ties the real, symbolic and imaginary registers together, our argumentation is that the symptomatic complain which the subject presents in his relation with the work gives what is needed to understand the symbolic and imaginary dimensions that comprise the meaning given to symptom. It is also important to be attentive to the real dimension of the enjoyment that the symptom involves because it is its reference. In one reading of the symptom as the use of oneself, at the same time psychoanalytically and ergologically, we tried to recognize not only the social determination of the symptom (the use of oneself by the others) but also an action strategy over this determination (in the use of oneself by oneself, always present). It’s about wagering on the subject, in his singular use of the symptom as to make it emerge over the social determination that could overcome him

Texto completoThe current study is characterized by an approach of health work mediated by machinery, taking into account the relationship between education and work. It seeks to bring out the relations between some categories of professionals working in hospital care environments, such as surgery rooms and intensive care units, places where the technologies mediated by machines are present. Immersion in the professional world of care with this mediation intends to uncover the background aspects - of standardization and prescription - that seek to frame it, but also what characterizes it as a human activity, from the perspective of Ergology, addressing the role of restandardize and invention in making health in daily life. This approach considers the work as permeated activity by multiple dimensions, which reveal the complexity and impossibility to reduce to its concrete aspects previously defined by who conceives and regulates it. In singular situations that modulate the exercise of work seen as an activity, the man always seeks to establish itself as protagonist and mobilizing center of material resources of formative and subjective order, through which updates the action prescribed by the standard: standardization and learning in act, both necessary to implement a better work. In these situations, where the planned work becomes real, we find the restandardize and learning processes caused by man's encounter with the foreseen and the current, conditioned by what ergology identifies as own variabilities of technical environment. Among the main objectives of the study was the identification of restandardize and learning processes (resingularization) provided by ergology, which allowed to formulate knowledge about the presence of the machine in the universe of professional practices in health. The process of approximation to care professionals generated subsidies that allow us to question, for example, training policies geared to conscious use of technologies/machines. The research yielded useful information for the management of assistance services, which have a high density - and dependence - of technologies represented by machinery, in such a way that it can enable staff to properly size its incorporation, and discuss their presence in health services environments. The research contributed to the understand that professional practices formation exceeds the walls of educational institutions, presenting itself as permanent education in the workplace and as a challenging and committed interaction between education and services (extended scientific communities).

Texto completoThe aim of this study was the investigation of whether, how and what knowledge has been mobilized and / or produced in the reading experience, especially with regard to the relationship between such knowledge and the work activities of the participants. The research was developed with workers from a farming company, located in Jaguarão, small city in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. This is a qualitative research and as a methodological procedure, semi-structured interviews with workers who participate in the Leadership Development Program. This program, coordinated by the researcher conducts activities including seminars reading with agricultural workers. Data were analyzed using the technique of content analysis in the light of ergological approach, from the concepts from the field of youth and adult education and freirean concepts. Throughout the dissertation, we sought the necessary understanding of the context which are inserted those subject. The understanding the dynamics of the company, professional scene of the workers surveyed, was grounded in Marxism. All this input enabled adequate exploration of the responses obtained in the interviews. According to the results, this dissertation suggests that the systematic practice of reading can stimulate the emergence of knowledge and contribute to the empowerment of agricultural workers by developing a critical stance toward the world.

Assuming that the subject, even if minimally, intervenes in the work activity, the challenge of the researcher is trying to seize this personal investment in the activity based on something that is visible, observable and to some extent describable: the language, which will be looked in terms of enunciation, which has the speech as an object of research, focusing on the subject and interactional dimensions. It was sought to examine the specificity of the intervention modes in practices of the security officers, investigating if it is possible to visualize to what extent it occurs through the speech, especially in situations of risk, in which the agent, who follows procedures, rules of action, must act in order to determine the success of his/her action, the failure of a criminal activity, the solution of a critical situation, the maintenance of lives. The present study therefore proposes to conduct investigations into the work activity of public security officers at the Central Monitoring of the electronic surveillance system of the city of São Leopoldo-RS, through an exercise of approach and contact between the two areas of knowledge: the enunciative perspective of a study of the language (Flores and Teixeira, 2005) by Émile Benveniste and ergology (Schwartz, 2000). Both perspectives are not limited to observe regularities only, but focus on the effects of the always singular intervention of the subject, be it in the use of the language or in the work activity: while ergology is interested in work as an activity effectively undertaken by individuals, understanding it as a dialectic between the prescription and what actually happens, enunciation linguistics, according to Teixeira (2008), is interested in the act of taking the word, understanding that the language provides a base formal system, a set of norms, which the speaker renormalizes and arranges in a particular style when he/she uses it.

The present scenario of the world of work, with its global competitiveness and the increasing precariousness of work, it was the starting point for this research that aimed to analyze the activity of psychologists organizational in outsourcing companies, relating them with the characteristics of the contemporary context. Based on the theory of the ergology, of the Yves Schwartz, whose the fundamental concept, that there is a prescribed work (which is requested, by another person, that there is not the professional) and real work (which is how the work activity actually happens), and among them there is always a distance. This fact causes the subject to perform a management use of himself, by himself and others, which are implicate in their own subjectivity and values, as well as the values and norms of the society itself. That process management, Schwartz appoints dramatic use of self. Then, a survey was conduct socio historical qualitative, which aimed to identify the prescribed activity psychologists on such companies, as well as analyze how these professionals perform their activity before the real is presented to them, pointing here evidence of the precarious aspects that compose their work activity. It was identified, also, the management that the subject does himself, by himself and by others, in order to relate the re-norms that underlie the actual activity of psychologists with the values and standard that cross the subject himself and society contemporary work. Came up as a result of the fact that the activities prescribed for these professionals are still primarily recruitment and selection of staff. Such activities are constantly transfixed by the logic of precariousness, which refers to the high speed of the process, the recovery by productivity, the search for the lowest cost and highest profit, regardless of commitment to human. It was noted that psychologists are inserted in the surveyed companies use management itself, emphasizing the logic of the market in their choices, and that their values sometimes are consistent with this logic. Faced with such evidence, reiterated the need to recover a commitment most critical action of psychologists, recognizing the priority of commitment to the human being, wherever they operates.
Grounded in the conviction that working to manage,- results of the research on the ergological perspective -, we think management as an extended concept, something that all the human beings operate when working, and not only as an exclusive function of administrators, this term used in a restricted way (referred only to the board of directors, etc.). The field analysis consisted of the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) in accordance with the proposals of main authors in the area of health planning and management. It was verified that an exhausting search that is being undertaken as for some actors/agents of the field of health as for researchers to understand and to develop the abilities, the knowledge, the devices that would allow management more efficient of a Public Health in Brazil and the possibilities of some of these findings to be applicable to the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). It had been analysed the management practices developed in a Municipal Health Centre located in a city in the State of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where the author of the thesis, beyond the activities of research, exerted the function of general manager. This thesis had as a main objective to analyse, of the point of view activity, the gestionary dimension of the work in a Municipal Health Centre, in order to discuss the viability in that place - and, possibly in other Health Centre - of the exercise of the ergomanagement that is a management on the basis of the principles concern the Ergology - when the point of view activity has citizenship in the way of work. The theoretical referential consisted of some clinical boardings of work (psychopathology of work, psychodynamic of work, ergonomics of activity, and clinic of activity) in accordance with the work of the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire, the English psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott and the Chilean biologist Humberto Maturana, all applied the Synergy under the orientation of ergological perspective. During the work had been used pertinent methods and techniques that had objectified to make possible the approach and the dialogue with the protagonists of activity in the Municipal Health Centre in analysis. The reference method was the research-intervention and the ethnographic research, being used the main device technician Meeting on Work. The undertaken research, jointly with the concrete experience of management (as general manager), allowed to conclude that the effort of implantation of the modality ergomanagement, privileging the point of view activity, could collaborate to promote positive transformations in the daily of the Municipal Health Centre in analysis. However, its acceptance for a significant number of subjects and its development depends on the attendance of some necessities, pointed for the collective work as impediments to surpass. Thus the findings can contribute for the construction of a patrimony of information concerning the Municipal Health Centre. From this patrimony other experiences of management can be developed, getting great results from the management of the work process and in the improvement of the conditions of the attendance offered to the subjects.

Texto completoThis thesis, when emphasizing the point of view of the activity (that many times is absent or with little visibility inside of the enterprise practical) in the work of the Human Resources Administration professionals, defends the idea of dont look for the work collectives as "human resources to be managed" (Human Resources Administration), or as "people to be managed" (People Management), but as workers (individual and collective) that also make the collective management of its work. When using the RH service, its users they do not search "to be managed" but they wait to find professionals who can, in using of tools referring theoretician-metodológico-techniques the practical determined ones, to develop the collective management of the work. In the measure where it does not recognize (or it does not value) this management that is practised, daily, in the work, a boarding that objective "to manage resources" or "to manage people" becomes a epistemological obstacle its development. From tools theoretician-metodológicas of the Activity Ergonomics, the Ergologie and the Clinic of the Activity an Extended Community of Research with the participation of professionals of Management of People (old Human Resources) of the Bank of Brazil and researchers of the Psychology of the Work and the Dialógica Linguistics was created. The research device bred facilitated the expression of the activity of work of these professionals and the analysis of the materials pointed some "tracks" with respect to the possibilities of the development of a collective management of the work.

Texto completoNursing, by its historical origin, adds up a variety of professions and specializations that work in caring for people. They are nurses, technicians and nursing assistants sharing the same workspace. The practices and procedures in healthcare, especially those geared to the professions of nursing, are guided by numerous routines, norms and protocols. The choice of the theme "experiential knowledge" resulted from the fact that we have so many regulations in this area and we appreciate so little the knowledge of experience in nursing work and its contribution to the quality of care provided. The main objective of this study was to understand how the knowledge of experience comes into relation with the knowledge / technical standards governing nursing in the exercise of human care and how it is used by technicians and nursing assistants in caring. It is a qualitative research and had the data source work 'in ato', and for data analysis, it used the Content Analysis. It was organized in two phases, which formed the corpus of data and analysis and were based theoretically and methodologically on the ergological perspective. In the first stage, an interview was conducted with the goal of making workers talk about their work. In the second, there was the observation 'in ato', the records being made in the field diary. The main empirical events arising from bed bath event, were grouped in categories of analysis: history standards, renormalizations, uses by oneself and others and values. The analysis was done searching the theme that repeats itself and between the lines of workers. I realized that the work process that contributes to the renormalizations happen, and the excessive demand of patients, the fast pace of work and the restricted space to perform the tasks appear to be the main determinants. The renormalizations, according to workers, who happen to work can actually be done and for the benefit of the patient. The uses by oneself and others are demonstrated by workers to fulfill the tasks prescribed in non-ideal conditions for implementing consider relevant in the care of patients under their responsibility. The values that stood out were the optimization of time, quality and cleanliness of the material used in the care and comfort of the patient. There is, for these workers, a discussion of values centered on the maintenance of life of these patients, the priority choices, but at the same time valuing care that involves basic human needs.

Texto completoThe thesis analyzes the work activity of baking and confectionary professionals aiming at comprehending how workers from this area learn on different situations at work. The main concept of the thesis is the activity of work as understood by the Ergology in which the main theoretical and philosopher is the French Yves Schwartz. For Ergology the different situations at work request choices from workers in which social and political values are tested when confronting the activity of work with the previous norms. This process is a producer of learning and imprentissage in the activity of work. Imprentissage is a neologism created by Yves Schwartz by joining the words learning (apprentissage) + impregnated (imprégnée). Based on the comprehension and expansion of these concepts the discussion on other references started in a strict relation to the concept of activity of work: the idea of the Relation to Knowledge created by Bernard Charlot and the concepts of activity and learning outlined at the Historic and Cultural Psychology by Lev Vygotsky and Alexei Leontiev, besides the concept of body-self, debate of norms and the dramatic use of the self developed by the Ergological Approach of Work. The theoretical elaboration of the thesis is not only based in the authors of these concepts but also on the readers perception especially on the Brazilian researchers Daisy Moreira Cunha e Eloisa Helena Santos. The empirical research involved incursions on bakery and confectionary in the city of Porto Alegre. The data production was reached through participative observation, individual interviews and the hold of an Atelier The participative observation enabled a discussion on aspects related to the context of work and the norms that prescribe and anticipate the activity in bakery and confectionary. The individual interviews enabled to set professional trajectories of 7 female workers and 2 male workers and put them in connection to knowledge and values that surround the activity. The analysis of professional trajectories of these 9 people highlighting the existence of different processes on professional qualification in bakery and confectionary, even on schooling qualification and the courses related and also relating to a qualification due to work experiences. This variety indicates the uniqueness of learning processes and the impossibility of thinking of one and only way of education that might be foreseen even by schools or working spaces. The Atelier, as a methodological procedure, has been developed inspired by the Encounters about Work (Ergology). There was contribution in the development of Atelier the workshops produced by the Soviet psychologist Lev Vygotsky, the double method of instruction created by the physician and psychologist Ivar Oddone and the self confrontation developed by the linguist Daniel Faita. The Atelier enable the creation of a device that could enrich the discussion between two workers, helping them think of what they know and come up with a knowledge raised by themselves. In Atelier there was a proposal for two workers to teach one another how to produce sponge cake (Pão-de-Ló) Atelier has also enabled a space for confrontation and social interaction mediated by the product itself and by the working instruments and techniques related to it that allowed workers discuss different ways of producing sponge cake, raising reflection on different ways of teaching and learning. Reclaiming aspects from professional trajectories, the contextualization of the field of research and the Atelier, relating them mutually and combined allowed to highlight aspects present on learning and unlearning processes related to the appropriation and transformation of knowledge and values present in this activity of work, as happiness and frustration paradox found at work, the discussions of norms related to following good practices, the secret of the job itself and the management of work. In these analyzes there were found the norms that anticipate and prescribe the activity of work in bakery and confectionary are not only related to good practices, to the recipes, to the processes of production, but also on the meaning of food, recognized as a cultural way of feeding The conclusion reinforces the intellectual discomfort, the mobiles and the uses of the self as trigger of learning and “imprentissage” process in the construction of body-self, connecting the dialectics found between obligation and the opportunity of learning. It is assured that workers from bakery and confectionary learn in situations at work when establishing process of relation to knowledge and values that surround the activity of work. This relation is mediated by the working devices (machines, equipments, basic materials, products), by the signs, normative and procedural that predict the activity of work (good practices, recipe/formulations, professional language, working techniques, secrets of the job and work management) and through the social interaction with other workers or clients. These social mediations and interactions are always unique and cannot be predicted as they involve life and work paths in a dialectics between opportunity and obligation of learning from intellectual discomfort and the challenges that are the infidelities of the path.

Texto completoThis dissertation aims to discuss the strategies used to recognize, identify and develop the skills of workers in the activity of processing marble and granite in the southern state of Espirito Santo. In addressing the development of skills in the sector of marble and granite we chose to learn beyond the formal models of management skills, but the mobilization of knowledge, the experience of workers and all the skills necessary to perform the work. Thus, using theoretical and analytical tools of the notion of competence, Ergology, Ergonomics and Work Psychodynamics activity, this research proposal was to build strategies for skills development and transformation of work for those who do, as we seek to know him. Thus, as a tool for the analysis of the work in the extraction and processing of marble and granite, we analyzed the discursive practices in the focus groups, direct observations and interviews with employees of companies in the Marble and Granite, working in the South of the Holy Spirit , linked to Sindirochas. The path taken to provide knowledge and discussion of devices that may contribute to the development of skills to make a collective act, enabling participation, creating work, reflecting the notion of work as something moving and dynamic, and valuing the experience of construction workers as a center of knowledge about working in the sector of marble and granite
