Preservar o patrimônio arquitetônico é vital para manter a história e fomentar o desenvolvimento econômico sustentável. Assim, o presente trabalho objetiva, através de uma abordagem inovadora, o monitoramento do ciclo de vida de edificações históricas utilizando ferramentas BIM. O método aplicado seguiu o estudo de caso da Igreja de Santana localizada em Salvador/BA, onde se reuniram dados tridimensionais com a captura por VANT processados em softwares, possibilitando a modelagem da edificação, o mapeamento de patologias, elaboração de relatórios e a confecção de um modelo informacional HBIM.
