Webserver adalah hal yang sangat penting sebagai layanan yang dibutuhkan agar klien dapat mengakses WWW (World Wide Web) menggunakan web browser mereka. Apache dan nginx adalah software web server yang paling banyak dipakai didunia, selain karena integrasinya yang mudah ke berbagai panel web seperti Cpanel, kedua software ini memiliki kestabilan yang mempuni dalam menanangani permintaan klien. Microsoft Azure dan Amazon Web Services sebagai salah satu penyedia layanan Cloud Computing Software As Service (SaaS) dan Platform As Service (PaaS), memiliki performa yang berbeda untuk implementasi pada web server. Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam melakukan analisa kinerja webserver apache dan nginx pada platform Microsoft Azure dan Amazon Web Services (AWS). Dari analisa yang dilakukan bahwasanya webserver Apache lebih unggul dengan margin persentase rata-rata sebesar 7% diplatform Microsoft Azure dan Nginx lebih unggul di platform Microsoft Azure dengan margin persentase sebesar 8,21%.

These Services include Azure Active Directory (AD), Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure App Services, Azure DevOps etc have been used to develop this system which can manage all real estate tax servicing needs. It significantly reduces servicing costs with the Tax Outsourcing platform. This system is a SaaS product that many customers request to maintain current tax status on loan portfolios to ensure taxes are paid on time. The contracted loans include tax identification numbers and parcel numbers, current year taxes, back taxes that are past due, information about tax redemption, etc.

Cilj ovog rada jeste da se obezbedi sigurna komunikacija u vidu razmene mail-a dva koris­nika preko Web aplikacije i Microsoft Outlook-a, klijenta Microsoft Exchange-a. Za ovu komunikaciju potrebno je registrovati novu aplikaciju na Microsoft Azure portalu koja ima identifikatore neophodne za dobavljanje Bearer tokena. Bearer token sluzi da se klijent, u ovom slučaju razvijena Web aplikacija, autentifikuje servisu. Klijent je tada u mogućnosti da, preko Microsoft Graph RESTful Web API-a, potraži sve korisnike određene grupe registrovane na Azure Active Directory-u i pošalje mail odabranom korisniku.

Exam Training dibangun berbasis website untuk mengatasi masalah peserta pada cloud fundamental track di Microsoft Indonesia dalam menghadapi ujian sertifikasi. Perancangan dan Pengembangan Exam Training menggunakan platform moodle sebagai frontend nya dan microsoft azure pada sisi backend nya. Penerapan microsoft azure dalam proses perancangan sistem memberikan kemudahan kepada developer dikarenakan tidak perlu memikirkan kebutuhan infrastruktur secara on-premises. Pengujian sistem menggunakan blackbox testing untuk menguji fungsionalitas sistem. Dari proses pengujian tersebut diperoleh masukan dan keluaran yang diharapkan.

Cloud computing is one of the paradigms that have undertaken to deliver the utility computing concept. It views computing as a utility similar to water and electricity. We aim in this paper to make an investigation of two highly efficacious Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (Azure) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) from users’ perspectives the point of view of users. We highlight and compare in depth the features of Azure and AWS from users’ perspectives. The features which we shall focus on include (1) Pricing, (2) Availability, (3) Confidentiality, (4) Secrecy, (5) Tier Account and (6) Service Level Agreement (SLA). The study shows that Azure is more appropriate when considering Pricing and Availability (Error Rate) while AWS is more appropriate when considering Tier account. Our user survey study and its statistical analysis agreed with the arguments made for each of the six comparisons factors.

Запропоновано інформаційну технологію розпізнавання емоцій учасників відеоконференцій у Microsoft Teams за рахунок використання нейронної згорткової мережі та засобів технології Azure, а також розроблено її структуру та структуру компонентів платформи Azure. Проаналізовано засоби-аналоги та виявлено їх переваги і недоліки. Проаналізовано узагальнений метод розпізнавання емоцій учасників відеоконфернецій, визначено його недоліки та запропоновано удосконалений метод розпізнавання емоцій учасників відеоконференцій у Microsoft Teams, що дало можливість автоматизувати роботу користувача та отримувати дані про емоційні реакції учасників відеоконференцій на певні новини, оголошення, теми дискусій, для оцінки здібностей ораторів, виявлення емоційно негативних моментів відеоконференцій та причин їх виникнення за рахунок використання бібліотеки Graph API та засобів хмарної технології Azure. Запропонований удосконалений метод ліг в основу відповідної інформаційної технології. Проведено експерименти, кожен з яких передбачав різну кількість учасників відеоконференцій, різні сценарії, різні комбінації ввімкнення та вимкнення камер та різні емоції. Аналіз результатів функціонування показав, що розроблена інформаційна технологія потребує одноразового запуску для того, щоб обробляти будь-яку кількість відеоконференцій, в той час як засоби-аналоги потребують окремого запуску на кожну відеоконференцію. Розроблена технологія надає можливість розпізнати 94% емоцій учасників відеоконференцій на відміну від засобів-аналогів, так як вона підтримує велику кількість учасників одночасно без погіршення якості їх зображень, а також ідентифікувати усіх учасників відеоконференції та їх емоційний стан, що неможливо при використанні сучасних програмних засобів.

Infine verrà mostrata la realizzazione di due applicazioni che fanno uso di queste tecnologie, Azure Functions e Azure Durable Functions, procedendo prima con uno sviluppo in locale e poi con il deploy sul cloud.

I dagens samhälle så blir vi allt mer och mer beroende av den teknik vi utvecklar, därför är det av större vikt att vi alltid skall ha tillgång till den information som vi behöver för att kunna göra våra dagliga sysslor. Detta lägger större press på att de system som utvecklas skall fungera felfritt och man skall ha snabba responstider för att allt ska flyta på så bra som möjligt och om det så skulle bli en kritisk systemkrasch så skall inte informationen gå helt förlorad. Därför har det blivit populärt att ändra från att ha personliga servrar till att köra allt mer och mer applikationer och information i det så kallade ”molnet”.  Därför är det av allt större intresse att ha koll på några av de större leverantörerna av molntjänster och hur man kan använda dessa för att få en bättre verksamhet. Därför kommer denna rapport att handla om hur ett arbete utförts på TeamNorrs begäran för att göra en jämförelse mellan Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform och Amazon Web Services. Den kommer även gå igenom hur responstiderna ser ut till några av världens datacenter med en utgångspunkt från TeamNorrs huvudkontor i Umeå. Rapporten går även igenom hur man själv kan testa på Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform och Amazon Web Services, och hur man i Microsoft Azure kan göra en så kallad ”Site to Cloud” lösning med en VPN tunnel för att kunna skapa en MSSQL backup i molnet. Sedan diskuteras för och nackdelar med det arbete som utförts, samt vilka förbättringar som skulle kunna vara aktuella i framtiden.
In todays society we become more and more dependent on the technology we develop, so it is of greater importance that we always have access to the information we need to do our daily tasks. It is more pressing than ever that the developed systems should work well and that you should have quick response times for everything to flow as smooth as possible and if there would be a critical system crash, the information should not be completely lost. Therefore, it has become more popular to go from, having personal servers to use more and more applications and information in the so-called "cloud". That´s why it is becoming increasingly important to keep track of some of the major cloud service providers and how to use them to archive a better business. This report will be about how a work was done at TeamNorrs request to make a comparison between Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. It will also review the response times to some of the worlds data centers with a starting point from TeamNorrs headquarters in Umeå. It also describe how you can put up your own environment to test Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services, and how to do a so-called "Site to Cloud" solution with a Virtual Private Network tunnel in Microsoft Azure, where it will also show you how you can create an MSSQL backup in the cloud. Then discusses the pros and cons of the work done and what improvements could be relevant for the future.

Cloud computing is still in an early stage of development and Microsoft is now investing considerable amount of resources in the cloud. Microsoft Azure is a cloud platform developed by Microsoft and it is continuously evolving, new features are constantly being added and old features are being updated. Integration Software, which is a company that focuses on products for system integration strongly believes that cloud­-based solutions will have a significant impact on their future. This is why selling and developing solutions and services for the cloud are strategically important for them. The objective of this dissertation is to investigate Microsoft Azure in general and Azure Marketplace in particular. This investigation consisted of an implementation of a Microsoft Azure application and integrating this application with Azure Marketplace and evaluating the expenses for running the application. The purpose for this project is to gain practical experience and to work with new techniques and help Integration Software better understand Azure Marketplace. The application is a Log Agent which fetches data from an external source and resends the data to an external party (Integration Manager). Our first intention was to package and deploy the application to a newly updated Azure Marketplace. The new Azure Marketplace was never released during this dissertation so we decided to deploy the application to the existing version of Azure Marketplace. This was however not fully successful. We encountered some problems in successfully deploying the application to Azure Marketplace. The evaluations for the cost of running an Azure application were not carried out due to lack of time.

The aim of this study has been to determine whether Microsoft Azure Service Bus has been able to match the needs and demands of Sogeti and its clients during a transition to a distributed and service-oriented system, as well as investi- gate possible gains that can be attained from such a transition. The study has also critically examined the potential problems and difficulties that may arise in such a scenario. The study has been accomplished using a literature study as well as the development of a Proof-of-Concept model to simulate such a system and to make calculations and surveys of and within one. The survey has shown that the Azure Service Bus does match the pre-defined requirements and requisites, as well as demonstrated how safe communication can be guaranteed using this particular service bus. The study concludes with an analysis of the study as a whole and the results thereof in particular, as well as proposes measures for further research on the subject. Finally, recommendations are made on how the client should proceed based on what is found in the study.
Målet med denna studie har varit att utröna huruvida Microsoft Azure Service Bus har kunnat matcha de behov och krav som Sogeti och dess klienter har på en sådan vid en övergång till ett distribuerat tjänsteorienterat system, samt undersöka vilka eventuella vinster som finns att göra vid en sådan övergång. Studien har också kritiskt granskat de problem och svårigheter som kan komma att uppstå. Undersökningen har gjorts med hjälp av en litteraturstudie samt en utveckling av en Proof-of-Concept-modell för att simulera ett sådant system och för att kunna göra beräkningar och undersökningar av och inom ett sådant. Undersökningen har visat att Azure Service Bus matchar de krav och önskemål som på förhand ställts, samt visat på hur säker kommunikation kan garanteras med hjälp av denna servicebuss. Undersökningen avslutas med en analys av studien som helhet och resultatet i synnerhet, samt föreslår åtgärder vid vidare forskning inom ämnet. Avslutningsvis lämnas rekommendationer på hur uppdragsgivaren ska gå tillväga baserat på vad som i studien framkommer.

With the development of the Internet-of-Things, more and more IoT platforms come up with different structures and characteristics. Making balance of their advantages and disadvantages, we should choose the suitable platform in differ- ent scenarios. For this project, I make comparison of a cloud-based centralized platform, Microsoft Azure IoT hub and a fully distributed platform, Sensi- bleThings. Quantitative comparison is made for performance by 2 scenarios, messages sending speed adds up, devices lie in different location. General com- parison is made for security, utilization and the storage. Finally I draw the con- clusion that SensibleThings performs more stable when a lot of messages push- es to the platform. Microsoft Azure has better geographic expansion. For gener- al comparison, Microsoft Azure IoT hub has better security. The requirement of local device for Microsoft Azure IoT hub is lower than SensibleThings. The SensibleThings are open source and free while Microsoft Azure follow the con- cept “pay as you go” with many throttling limitations for different editions. Microsoft is more user-friendly.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly gaining ground in our daily life. There is a trend that the number of devices and data increases rapidly in the future. Meanwhile, IoT platforms are emerging to enable people conveniently deal with the IoT and these huge amount of data and devices. Therefore, the goal in this paper is to perform a quantitative evaluation on Microsoft Azure, one of the IoT platform, about its advantages and disadvantages under press to determine if Azure IoT is fit for future IoT. In order to reach this goal, Azure IoT Hub is used as a bridge to connect and manage lots of IoT devices which send and receive huge amount of data. .NET is used to simulate devices and connect them to the IoT Hub. The two-way communication from sensor to cloud and from cloud to actuator is implemented through MQTT protocol. This paper makes measurements on three metrics including response time from sensor sending messages to actuator receiving messages, scalability and cost and analyzes them in detail. Besides, the analysis is also made in a specific scenario which has high demand on sensor update to see how Azure IoT performs. Finally, conclusion is made on Microsoft Azure IoT's advantages and disadvantages under stress.

Resumen
Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is an essential task for many applications like automatic caption generation for videos, voice search, voice commands for smart homes, and chatbots. Due to the increasing popularity of these applications and the advances in deep learning models for transcribing speech into text, this work aims to evaluate the performance of commercial solutions for ASR that use deep learning models, such as Facebook Wit.ai, Microsoft Azure Speech, and Google Cloud Speech-to-Text. The results demonstrate that the evaluated solutions slightly differ. However, Microsoft Azure Speech outperformed the other analyzed APIs.
