Xenopus embryos initiate replication at random closely spaced sites until a certain concentration of nuclei is achieved within the embryo, after which fewer, more specific chromosomal sites are utilized as origins. We have examined the relationship between nucleo-cytosolic ratio and origin specification when Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell nuclei are introduced into Xenopus egg extracts. At concentrations of intact late-G1-phase nuclei that approximate early Xenopus embryos, the entire genome was duplicated nearly 4 times faster than in culture, accompanied by a de-localization of initiation sites at the dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) locus. As the concentration of nuclei was increased, the number of initiation sites per nucleus decreased and initiation at the DHFR locus became localized to the physiologically utilized DHFR origin. Origin specification was optimal at nuclear concentrations that approximate the Xenopus mid-blastula transition (MBT). Higher concentrations resulted in an overall inhibition of DNA synthesis. By contrast, with intact early G1-phase nuclei, replication initiated at apparently random sites at all concentrations, despite an identical relationship between nucleo-cytosolic ratio and replicon size. Furthermore, permeabilization of late-G1-phase nuclei, using newly defined conditions that preserve the overall rate of replication, eliminated site-specificity, even at nuclear concentrations optimal for DHFR origin recognition. These data show that both nucleo-cytosolic ratio and nuclear structure play important but independent roles in the regulation of replication origin usage. Nucleo-cytosolic ratio clearly influences the number of replication origins selected. However, titration of cytosolic factors is not sufficient to focus initiation to specific sites. An independent mechanism, effecting changes within G1-phase nuclei, dictates which of many potential initiation sites will function as an origin.

Foxo transcription factors promote protein breakdown and atrophy of skeletal muscle fibers. Foxo transcriptional effectiveness is largely determined by phosphorylation-dependent nucleo-cytoplasmic shuttling. Imaging Foxo1-green fluorescent protein (GFP) over time in 124 nuclei in 68 multinucleated adult skeletal muscle fibers under control culture conditions reveals large variability between fibers in Foxo1-GFP nucleo-cytoplasmic concentration ratio (N/C) and in the apparent rate coefficient ( kI′) for Foxo1-GFP unidirectional nuclear influx (measured with efflux blocked by leptomycin B). Pairs of values of N/C or of kI′ from different nuclei in the same fiber were essentially the same, but only weakly correlated in nuclei from different fibers in the same culture well. Thus, fiber to fiber variability of cellular factors, but not extracellular factors, determines Foxo1 distribution. Over all nuclei, N/C and kI′ were closely proportional, indicating that kI′ is the major determinant of Foxo1 distribution. IGF-I activation of Foxo kinase Akt reduces variability by decreasing kI′ and N/C in all fibers. However, inhibiting Akt did not drive kI′ uniformly high, indicating other pathways in Foxo1 regulation.

After fertilization, the mammalian conceptus undergoes cleavage, a process of cell proliferation in the absence of interphase growth. It is not known when cleavage ends and gives way to fully replicative cell cycles with a stable nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio. We have used two-photon excitation and confocal microscopy to measure directly volumes and nucleo-cytoplasmic ratios of whole murine concepti and their individual constituent blastomeres during pre-implantation development up to the early uterine attachment stage (day 5). We show that the total cytoplasmic volume of the conceptus remains constant during pre-implantation development, and that the average nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio increases exponentially throughout the same period. Data from individual blastomeres show that both volume and nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio diverge in the inner and outer subpopulations evident from the 16-cell stage (fifth developmental cycle) onwards. Cells from emergent outer trophoblast populations are larger and have smaller nucleo-cytoplasmic ratios than those from emergent inner pluriblast populations. Moreover, the nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio of the trophoblast appears to be stabilizing, suggesting that for this subpopulation cleavage may end at the 16–32-cell transition. Putative hypoblast and epiblast cell subpopulations within the pluriblast were not distinguishable by volume or nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio. Embryonic stem cell volume was higher than that of either cell subpopulation of expanded blastocysts, and their nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio was similar to that of trophoblast cells.

Resumen
Morphometric indices of mononuclear hepatocytes (volumes of cells and nuclei, nucleo-cytoplasmic index, percentage of parenchymal cells of different classes) in peripheral and central zones of hepatic lobules were determined 3 days after experimental fracture of shin bones in CBA mice. Increase of hepatocyte nuclei size within the range of K3, K4 and K5 classes was revealed. This is indicative of the involvement of hepatic parenchymal cells into the process of adaptive reorganization of the organism in loco-motor system injury.

A huge effort has been made for more than thirty years to construct facilities able to deliver beams of radioactive nuclei with increasing intensity and better quality. This contribution revises the different mechanisms and the separation techniques employed for the production of Radioactive Ion Beams.

The article reviews the results of studies of the morphofunctional state of neurons of the supraoptic nuclei of the rat hypothalamus under conditions of different duration of light regime. Under standard light regime in rats, a diurnal rhythm of morphofunctional activity of supraoptic nucleus neurons with maximum activity during daytime (before 2 p.m.) is recorded. In animals subjected to prolonged light exposure, more pronounced changes in the morphofunctional state of the supraoptic neurons of the hypothalamus at 2 a.m. than at 2 p.m. were established. Thus, the neuronal nucleus area was 94.08 ± 9.55 μm2 and was significantly greater than that in intact animals. The nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio of supraoptic hypothalamic neuron at 2 a.m. was lower than that in intact animals due to a decrease in specific nucleus volume. In comparison with the day period (2 p.m.), before 2 a.m. there was revealed a decrease of the neuron body area of supraoptic nuclei of hypothalamus due to possible decrease of the area of nucleus and nucleolus of cells. This was the reason for the increase in the nucleo-cytoplasmic ratio in the neurons under observation at night, which was 2.51 ± 0.023 units. Constant light regime did not cause inversion of the rhythm of morphofunctional activity of the neurons under study, the maximum values, as in intact animals, occurred in the daytime observation period.

Introduction: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the most common and best well-known cause of peripheral nerve compression. To date, none of the studies have determined the optimal combination of pyrimidine nucleotides and electrical stimulation (ES) in CTS patients. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a novel product containing uridine and cytidine monophosphate (Nucleo CMP Forte™) in combination with ES for the treatment of CTS. Methods: This open-label, randomized, controlled study involved 60 patients with CTS at the Azerbaijan Medical University (Baku, Azerbaijan) and Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation between 2017 and 2021 years. Patients were randomized to receive the exploratory treatment (Nucleo CMP Forte™ and ES) or single ES treatment for ten days. The combination treatment included two stages: Nucleo CMP Forte™ and ES for ten days (stage one), and Nucleo CMP Forte™ as monotherapy (stage two) for ten days. Results: In the exploratory group, the complete restoration of pain sensitivity was achieved by 17.1% of patients and the narrowing of the existing zone of hypesthesia by 74.3%. Positive Tinel test was revealed in 52.4% of patients after the first and 76.2% after the second stage in the exploratory group, versus 43.8% in the control group. Mean values in the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire significantly decreased in both groups. Conclusion: Nucleo CMP Forte™ in combination with ES contributes to a more pronounced regression of patients' complaints, clinical manifestations, severity, and neurophysiological indicators in mild-to-moderate CTS.

Radioactive nuclei have a very deep relevance in many astrophysical scenarios, from the Big Bang nucleo-synthesis to supernova explosions. Several Nuclear Physics laboratories around the world have been constructing large-scale facilities for the production of Radioactive Ion Beams (RIBs). The main production techniques, i.e. In-Flight and Isotope Separation On Line, which will be reviewed in this contribution. In particular, we will concentrate on the production of light weakly-bound RIBs at the facility EXOTIC, located at INFN-LNL (Italy) and we will describe the most recent experiments.

Il presente lavoro ha come oggetto gli spazi di Hilbert a nucleo riproducente. Lo studio parte concentrandosi sulla proprietà teorica che accomuna gli spazi di Bergman, di Dirichlet e di Hardy, ovvero di esser spazi di funzioni di Hilbert. Nel secondo capitolo vengono presentate maggiori speculazioni teoriche che correlano gli spazi di funzioni di Hilbert alle loro funzioni nucleo associate, stabilendo quindi una corrispondenza biunivoca tramite il teorema di Moore-Aronszajn. Sempre nello stesso capitolo viene introdotta l'algebra dei moltiplicatori, fornendo come esempio che le algebre dei moltiplicatori dello spazio di Bergman e dello spazio di Hardy siano l'insieme delle funzioni olomorfe e limitate definite sul disco unitario. Nell'ultimo capitolo si descrive il prodotto tensoriale di spazi di Hilbert, per poi applicarlo alla nozione di spazio di Hilbert a nucleo riproducente a valori vettoriali(vvRKHS) e infine viene data una costruzione di un operatore di moltiplicazione in questo dato spazio.

Resumo: Esta Dissertação descreve o núcleo de tempo-real do Multiprocessador para Sistemas de Controle (MSC). O MSC foi desenvolvido no Instituto de Automação do Centro Tecnológico para Informática e possui características que o tornam adequado a aplicações em controle de processos e automação industrial. Estas aplicações exigem respostas rápidas a eventos externos e grande capacidade de processamento. O MSC pode ser configurado para satisfazer as mais diversas aplicações e diferentes níveis de desempenho, desde controladores de robô até gerenciadores de sistemas integrados de manufatura. O MSC é baseado no barramento VME e pode conter um ou mais processadores MC 68000 e zero ou mais processadores Z80. O barramento VME suporta a comunicação de baixo nível entre os programas executados em paralelo pelos processadores. Cada processador (MC 68000) executa o código (aplicativos e NÚCLEO) armazenado em sua memória local, à qual é conectado por um barramento privativo (padrão VMX). A sincronização e comunicação de alto nível entre os programas ocorre através da memória global, a que os processadores tem acesso pelo barramento VME. Os processadores de Entrada/Saída (PE/S) são escravos dos demais processadores. Os PE/S são interligados ao VME por memória dual-port: uma das portas é mapeada como memória global (no VME) e a outra é ligada ao barramento interno do PE/S. O NÚCLEO do MSC é estruturado segundo o modelo estratificado. A unidade lógica de computação é o processo. O mecanismo de sincronização interprocessos é uma extensão de semáforos para uso no ambiente multiprocessado do MSC. O mecanismo de comunicação interprocessos é a troca de mensagens através de caixas postais. A localização (em memória global ou local) dos objetos suportados pelo NÚCLEO é especificada somente na sua criação. Todas as outras operações referenciam apenas aos identificadores dos objetos (números inteiros). Chamamos esta caraçterística de Transparência de Multiprocessamento. Graças a ela, a programação do MSC, um multiprocessador, oferece um grau de dificuldade não maior que aquele apresentado por sistemas multitarefa convencionais. Além disso, se todos os objetos necessários à execução de um programa forem criados num mesmo processo, um aplicativo pode ser transportado para uma máquina com um número diferente de processadores sem alterações no seu código (exceto nos locais onde os objetos/recursos são criados). O NÚCLEO oferece primitivas para a criação e destruição de processos (locais e remotos), operações P e V sobre semáforos, operações sobre conjuntos de armazenadores e troca de mensagens através de caixas postais. Os semáforos possibilitam soluções simples e eficientes para problemas de exclusão mútua e sincronização condicional. As caixas postais permitem a implementação de vários paradigmas de comunicação interprocessos, tais como comunicação síncrona ou assíncrona, "pipes" e "rendezvous".
Abstract: This dissertation describes the real-time kernel for a Multiprocessor aimed at Control Systems Applications (MSC for short). The MSC multiprocessor was developed at Instituto de Automação, Centro Tecnológico para Informática. It has features that make it suitable for applications in industrial process control. These applications demand high throughput and prompt response to external events. The MSC can be configured to solve a wide variety of problems in control and automation, from robot controllers up to supervising chores in flexible manufacturing systems. The MSC is built around a VME bus and may have one or more MC 68000 based processors and zero or more Z80 based I/O processors. The VME bus supports the low leveI communication between the processors. Each processor (MC 68000) executes the code (application and KERNEL) stored in its local memory, to which it is connected, by a private bus (VMX bus). The high leveI synchronization and communication between the programs occurs through the global memory, which is accessed by the processors via the VME bus. The I/O processors interface to the VME bus is a dual ported memory: one port is connected to the global bus (mapped as global memory) and the other is connected to the I/O processor's internal bus. The MSC's KERNEL was designed as a layered structure. The logical unit of computation is the process. The interprocess syhchronization mecanism is an extension to semaphores so they can be used in the distribuited MSC's environrnent. The interprocess communication mecanism is message exchange through mailboxes. The loci (in either global or local memory) of the objects supported by the KERNEL is specified only at its creation. All the other operations upon them refer just to their identifiers (which are integers). We call this feature Multiprocessing Transparency. Thanks to it, the MSC's (a multiprocessor) programming presents no more difficulty than that of conventional multitasking systems. Furthermore, if alI the objects needed to a program's execution are created on one process, this program may be ported to a machine with a different number of processors without any changes to its code (except, of course, to the places where the objects are created). The KERNEL supports primitives for the creation and killing of processes (local and remote ones), P and V operations on semaphores, operations on buffer pools (get, release) and message exchange through mailboxes. The semaphores provide simple and effident solutions to mutual exclusion and condition synchronization problems. The mailboxes allow the implementation of many interprocess communication paradigms, such as synchronous and assynchronous communication, pipes and rendezvous.

Il Nucleo è una tipologia sperimentale di abitazione, un edificio modello per la progettazione di costruzioni autonome, completamente “sostenibili” e indipendenti da qualsiasi fonte energetica non rinnovabile. Progettato sotto la guida dall’Ing. Franco Guagliumi e di sua proprietà, tale fabbricato è stato concepito con la volontà di ottenere un sistema, attraverso criteri di bioclimatica e sostenibilità ambientale, a energia nulla. Tale fabbricato risulta essere autonomo, completamente autosufficiente in campo energetico e nell’uso di risorse, operando dunque come un sistema isolato, indipendente da collegamenti a utenze o reti pubbliche, ovvero da linee di distribuzione di energia elettrica, gas, acqua e scarichi pubblici delle acque reflue. Con riferimento al sistema costruttivo di pareti esterne e copertura, il fabbricato utilizza tecnologie e materiali innovativi; è quindi dotato di impianti funzionali alla produzione autonoma di energia elettrica, di energia termica e quindi alla loro gestione integrata, con impianto fotovoltaico da 43,32kWp affiancato ad un sistema di accumulo da 160kWh. Il riscaldamento e il raffrescamento sono permessi grazie alla presenza di una pompa di calore geotermica da 30kW con sonde verticali. La parte impiantistica è completamente gestita da un impianto domotico KNX e cablato con rete ethernet. In definitiva, questo progetto si pone l'ambizioso obiettivo di dimostrare la concreta possibilità di costruire edifici autosufficienti a zero impatto ambientale per quanto riguarda i consumi energetici, ricorrendo a energia derivante da fonti rinnovabili, autoprodotta in loco e priva di scarichi in pubblica fognatura. «Non è una mera questione di risparmio energetico. Si tratta piuttosto di gestire l’energia che abbiamo a disposizione», così l’Ing. Guagliumi definisce il suo progetto.

Resumen
La maggior parte dei corpi celesti che popolano l’universo emette “luce”. Ciò significa che essi sono visibili dai nostri occhi quando li alziamo sul cielo notturno o al limite, se troppo lontani, da potenti telescopi ottici. Questa luminosità ha nella maggior parte dei casi un’origine termonucleare, dovuta cioè alla presenza di sorgenti come le stelle, in cui l’elevata temperatura interna legata alle reazioni di fusione che le mantengono in vita produce una radiazione di corpo nero in banda ottica. Tuttavia, dato che la parte visibile costituisce solo una minuscola porzione dell’intero spettro elettromagnetico, andando ad indagare emissioni a differenti frequenze come il radio, l’infrarosso, l’ultravioletto, X e gamma, si rileva la presenza un’altra categoria di oggetti dalle caratteristiche peculiari che li rendono un affascinante campo di studio per molteplici ragioni: i Nuclei Galattici Attivi (AGN) (figura 1). Sono abbastanza rari (costituiscono meno dell’1% del totale rispetto alle normali galassie) e dalla vita breve, spesso molto lontani e potenti, ferventi di un’intensa attività che sembra crescere col redshift; si ipotizza perciò che siano giovani e che ci aprano una finestra sul momento successivo al collasso iniziale proprio della vita di ogni galassia, rivelandosi fondamentali per elaborare eventuali teorie cosmologiche. Inoltre, sebbene spesso ospiti di galassie visibili anche in ottico, i loro meccanismi di emissione e gli speciali comportamenti necessitano di analisi e spiegazioni totalmente differenti. Particolare è anche il metodo di rilevamento: per coprire infatti queste determinate frequenze è stata sviluppata una tecnica innovativa capace di dare ottimi risultati, perfino migliori di quelli dei telescopi tradizionali, l’interferometria radio. La tesi si divide in due parti: la prima delinea un ritratto degli AGN, la seconda analizza il flusso proveniente dalla radiogalassia 3C 84 a 15.4 e 43 GHz e ipotizza un possibile sito di origine dell’aumento di brillanza osservato.

AbstractFibrillar collagen is an abundant extracellular matrix (ECM) component of interstitial tissues which supports the structure of many organs, including the skin and breast. Many different physiological processes, but also pathological processes such as metastatic cancer invasion, involve interstitial cell migration. Often, cell movement takes place through small ECM gaps and pores and depends upon the ability of the cell and its stiff nucleus to deform. Such nuclear deformation during cell migration may impact nuclear integrity, such as of chromatin or the nuclear envelope, and therefore the morphometric analysis of nuclear shapes can provide valuable insight into a broad variety of biological processes. Here, we describe a protocol on how to generate a cell-collagen model in vitro and how to use confocal microscopy for the static and dynamic visualization of labeled nuclei in single migratory cells. We developed, and here provide, two scripts that (Fidler, Nat Rev Cancer 3(6):453–458, 2003) enable the semi-automated and fast quantification of static single nuclear shape descriptors, such as aspect ratio or circularity, and the nuclear irregularity index that forms a combination of four distinct shape descriptors, as well as (Frantz et al., J Cell Sci 123 (Pt 24):4195–4200, 2010) a quantification of their changes over time. Finally, we provide quantitative measurements on nuclear shapes from cells that migrated through collagen either in the presence or the absence of an inhibitor of collagen degradation, showing the distinctive power of this approach. This pipeline can also be applied to cell migration studied in different assays, ranging from 3D microfluidics to migration in the living organism.

This short pedagogical movie illustrates an effect in nuclear physics called backbending which was first observed in the study of the rotational behavior of rapidly rotating rare-earth nuclei in Stockholm, Sweden in 1971. The video contains a mechanical analog utilizing rare-earth magnets and rotating gyroscopes on a turntable along with some historic spectra and papers associated with this landmark discovery together with its explanation in terms of the Coriolis induced uncoupling and rotational alignment of a specific pair of particles occupying high-j intruder orbitals. Thus backbending represents a crossing in energy of the groundstate, or vacuum, rotational band by another band which has two unpaired high-j nucleons (two quasi-particles) with their individual angular momenta aligned with the rotation axis of the rapidly rotating nucleus. Backbending was a major surprise which pushed the field of nuclear structure physics forward but which is now sufficiently well understood that it can be used as a precision spectroscopic tool providing useful insight for example, into nuclear pairing correlations and changes in the latter due to blocking effects and quasi-particle seniority, nuclear deformation, the excited configurations of particular rotational structures and the placement of proton and neutron intruder orbitals at the Fermi surface.

Tomato yellow leaf curl geminivirus (TYLCV) is a major pathogen of cultivated tomato, causing up to 100% crop loss in many parts of the world. In Israel, where TYLCV epidemics have been recorded since the 1960' s, this viral disease is well known and has been of economic significance ever since. In recent years, TYLCV outbreaks also occurred in the "New World" - Cuba, The Dominican Republic, and in the USA, in Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. Thus, TYLCV substantially hinders tomato growth throughout the world. Surprisingly, however, little is known about the molecular mechanisms of TYLCV interaction with the host tomato cells. The present proposal, a continuation of the project supported by BARD from 1994, expanded our understanding of the molecular mechanisms by which TYLCV enters the host cell nucleus for replication and transcription and exits it for the subsequent cell-to-cell spread. Our project sought two objectives: I. To study the roles of the viral capsid protein (CP) and host cell factors in TYLCV nuclear import. II. To study the roles of CP and host cell factors in TYLCV nuclear export. Our research toward these goals have produced the following major achievements: . Developed a one-hybrid assay for protein nuclear export and import (#3 in the List of Publications). . Identified a functional nuclear export signal (NES) in the capsid protein (CP) of TYLCV (#3 in the List of Publications). . Discovered homotypic interactions between intact TYLCV CP molecules and analyzed these interactions using deletion mutagenesis of TYLCV CP (#5 in the List of Publications). . Showed developmental and tissue-specific expression of the host factor required for nuclear import of TYLCV CP, tomato karyopherin alpha 1, in transgenic tomato plants (#14 in the List of Publications). . By analogy to nuclear import of TYLCV ,identified an Arabidopsis VIPI protein that participates in nuclear import of Agrobacterium T -complexes via the karyopherin alpha pathway (#4,6, and 8 in the List of Publications). These research findings provided significant insights into (i) the molecular pathway of TYLCV entry into the host cell nucleus, and (ii) the mechanism by which TYLCV is exported from the nucleus for the cell-to-cell spread of infection. Furthermore, the obtained knowledge will help to develop specific strategies to attenuate TYLCV infection, for example, by blocking viral entry into and/or exit out of the host cell nucleus. Also, as much of our findings is relevant to all geminiviruses, new anti- TYLCV approaches developed based on the results of our research will be useful to combat other members of the Geminivirus family. Finally, in addition to the study of TYLCV nuclear import and export, our research contributed to our understanding of general mechanisms for nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of proteins and nucleic acids in plant cells.

This Table is a compilation of experimental measurements of static electric quadrupole moments of ground states and excited states of atomic nuclei throughout the periodic table. To aid identification of the states, their excitation energy, half-life, spin and parity are given, along with a brief indication of the method and any reference standard used in the particular measurement. Experimental data from all quadrupole moment measurements actually provide a value of the product of the moment and the electric field gradient (EFG) acting at the nucleus. Knowledge of the EFG is thus necessary to extract the quadrupole moment. A single recommended value of the moment is given for each state, based, for each element, wherever possible, upon a standard reference moment for a nuclear state of that element studied in a situation in which the electric field gradient has been well calculated. For several elements one or more subsidiary reference EFG/moment references are required and their use is specified. The literature search covers the period to April 2021.

Tomato yellow leaf curl geminivirus (TYLCV) is a major pathogen of cultivated tomato, causing up to 100% crop loss in many parts of the world. In Israel the disease is well known and has an economic significance. In recent years viral symptoms were found in countries of the "New World" and since 1997, in Florida. Surprisingly, little is known about the molecular mechanisms of TYLCV interaction with the host plant cells. This proposal was aimed at expanding our understanding of the molecular mechanisms by which TYLCV enters the host cell nucleus. The main objective was to elucidate the TYLCV protein(s) involved in transport of the viral genomic DNA into the host cell nucleus. This goal was best served by collaboration between our laboratories one of which (V.C.) was already investigating the nuclear import of the T-DNA ofAgrobacterium tumefaciens, and the other (Y.G.) was studying the effect of TYLCV capsid protein (CP) in transgenic plants, hypothesizing its involvement in the viral nuclear entry. Three years of our collaborative work have provided signifcant data that strongly support our original hypothesis of the involvement of TYLCtr CP in viral nuclear import. Furthermore, our results have laid a foundation to study fundamental, but as yet practically unresolved, questions about the role ofthe host cell factors in the nuclear import of geminiviruses within their host plant. As a result, this research may lead to development of new approaches for plant protection based on control of TYLCV import to the host plant cell nucleus.

Resumen
A Consultants Meeting on the Resonance Parameters of Fissile Actinides of the International Nuclear Data Evaluation Network (INDEN) was held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna from 21 to 24 October 2019. The meeting was a follow-up of the working group on evaluations in the resonance region of actinide nuclei. Special focus was on issues in the evaluation in the unresolved resonance region (URR). On-going evaluation work was discussed, and new experimental and evaluation projects targeted at improving the evaluations reviewed.

Resumen
A Consultants’ Meeting on Actinide Evaluation in the Resonance Region (4) of the International Nuclear Data Evaluation Network (INDEN) was held as a hybrid meeting from 1 to 4 November 2021. The meeting was a follow-up of the working group on evaluations in the resonance region of actinide nuclei. On-going evaluation work on 233U, 238U, 235U and 239Pu was discussed. Particular attention was paid to Prompt Fission Neutron Spectra, neutron multiplicities and reference integrals for fission cross sections were proposed for TOF fission data of fissile targets.
