AbstractJet Emitting Disc (JED) has dynamical properties quite different from both the standard and advection dominated discs. It also exhibits three different thermal equilibrium branches at a given radius: two stable (cold and hot) and one intermediate unstable. The hot solution has all the characteristics of the so-called “hot corona” generally invoked in XrB sytems in the Low/Hard states. We detail the energetics and radiative expectations of our model and show their good agreement with those observed in Cygnus X-1 in terms of jet power, jet velocity and spectral emission.

Indonesia is a country prone to hydrological disasters, with high potentials to mud flows in some areas. The mud flows need to be channeled to the appropriate place, and the piping system is one of the best alternatives. Through this research, the analysis of flow characteristics and changes in the density concentration in two-phase (liquid-solid) fluid systems is presented. This article is devoted to the study of similarities and differences in the perception of the spiritual identity of the Russian and Chinese ethnos on the material of phraseological lexicon with a numeral component in the lingua-cultural aspect. In Russian linguistic culture, the number "one" represents God. In the Chinese phraseological lexicon with the considered component, Confucius' concepts of governing the country and some basic Buddhist ideas are observed. The comparative analysis shows a significant similarity in the semantic structure of the phraseological lexicon of the two languages.

Workfare programs aim to reduce poverty by providing low-wage work to those who need it. They are often turned to in a crisis when there is no time for a rigorous evaluation.
