Resumen
Formation of the culture of philosophical communication and the popularization of philosophical knowledge in contemporary socio-cultural contexts is impossible without the use of numerous Internet resources. Today, many information philosophical portals and websites become more influential than ever, so they need to be paid sufficient attention as an instrument for popularizing philosophical knowledge and cultivating a culture of philosophical communication and philosophical education in a broad sense. For philosophic communication and the popularization of philosophical knowledge, tools such as forums, blogs, sites, e-mail, mailing, instant messaging (ICQ), collaborative work on the document (wiki), book publishing system protected from copying, as well as special philosophical sites and programs. This article discusses three important sources for popularizing philosophy. They are the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, an online encyclopedia of philosophy, the Google Scholar search engine for academic literature, and a project for tracking new philosophical publications (the PhilPapers project). Selected resources also contribute to the functioning of philosophical knowledge, and serve as a platform for new researchers.

Resumen
We will argue that philosophical disagreement gives us good reasons to be skeptical about philosophical knowledge. First, we will present the case of PHILOSOPHERS to produce a skeptical verdict when it comes to philosophical disagreements. Then, we will discuss the symmetry and centrality conditions to clarify why PHILOSOPHERS yields a skeptical verdict. Both conditions make philosophical disagreement an undefeated defeater for our philosophical beliefs. Second, we will discuss the Equal Weight (EW) as the view that requires parties to a disagreement to suspend judgment if parties comply with the symmetry and centrality conditions. Finally, we will discuss Kelly’s (2016) arguments against the skeptical outcomes of EW when applied to philosophical disagreement. We conclude that Kelly’s defense fails to defuse the skeptical outcomes of EW applied to philosophical disagreement.

Resumen
The author describes the replacement of the <i>a priori</i> conditions of representational activity in the <i>Tractatus</i> by a set of everyday conditions that underlie the application of terms such as ‘language’ and ‘world’. He assesses both the later Wittgenstein’s challenge to clear distinctions between language and non-language, as well as his replacement of philosophical analysis with the new technique of philosophical grammar. While analysis depends, in the <i>Tractatus</i>, on clearly demarcated categories of language and world, grammar aims to describe the complex network of social, political, historical, technological, interpersonal, and material factors that constitute our particular modes of bringing order to experience. The author presents Wittgenstein’s later writing as a therapeutic response to the philosophical subliming of the language/world distinction in the <i>Tractatus</i>. He considers the multiple forms of therapy that <i>Philosophical Investigations</i> performs, involving both the substantive discussion of themes in the philosophy of language, as well as the distinctive form of philosophical writing that Wittgenstein develops. He argues that the later Wittgenstein’s awareness of instabilities in absolute distractions between language and non-language is closely connected to the constraints of human embodiment. Where the language/world distinction in the <i>Tractatus</i> depends on a radically disembodied conception of language, of language users, and of philosophical reflections on language, the later Wittgenstein considers embodiment as central to the everyday ways in which we apply the term ‘language’. The author concludes by arguing that Wittgenstein’s awareness of the embodiment of the language user leads him to reflect also on the embodiment of the philosopher and of philosophical practice. The formal properties of <i>Philosophical Investigations</i> cause the reader to consider philosophical thinking and writing as performed within a medium, and to reflect on the consequences for philosophical argument when the medium of philosophy is itself subjected to therapeutic demystification.

Resumen
<p> In the mid 1920s, reflecting the concerns of the "<i>Sprachkrise </i>", Ludwig Wittgenstein and Franz Kafka composed writings deeply concerned with language's ability to express human thought. In his <i>Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus</i>, Wittgenstein attempted to draw the boundary of meaningful language. During the same period, Kafka developed his thoughts on language and ethics in his <i>Oktavhefte</i>. I compare these works, showing that they share an understanding of language as a domain bound within the physical world and incapable of expressing our spiritual being. Presenting itself as rigorous philosophical writing, Wittgenstein's <i> Tractatus</i> constantly reminds its reader of the limitations of its own logical and philosophical language by claiming itself to be "nonsense" and only a ladder the reader should climb and get rid of. Kafka, without constructing rigorous logical arguments, composed a critique demonstrating the unnaturalness of natural language and showing that its poetic nature lets language transcend its own boundaries.</p>

Resumen
Includes bibliographical references (leaves 194-197).<br>The central task of this dissertation is the exploration of the medium of comics, and its connections to both popular culture and philosophy as a practice conceived in the Western tradition. Comics (at times referred to as both 'graphic literature' and 'sequential art' during this dissertation) constitutes a wholly new object. One that is qualitatively distinct from prose, theater, poetry and cinema. Mimicking the structure of comics wherein two images are juxtaposed to suggest (rather than explicitly state) a coherent sequence in the mind of the reader, this dissertation offers two "images" of its central thesis: one a theoretical element, the other a work of creative fiction. Following on from each other, these "images" interrogate both in their parts and in their sequence, the politics of representation around comics and its connections to philosophy and the popular. In the first "image" a theoretical work is forwarded to examine the various connections that arise between comics, popular culture and philosophy. The central thesis of this element argues for a nuanced understanding in which the medium of comics provides for a clearer interlocutor of Western philosophy's perennial concerns. The works of Galileo, Vico, Descartes, Darwin, Marx, Freud, Einstein, Foucault and Deleuze are reinterpreted using the aesthetic mechanics of comics as philosophical concept. This dissertation thus asserts that comics functions as "heuristic" for Western philosophy, a method which encodes understanding through practice.

Resumen
This dissertation explores new frontiers of creativity. Currently, the concept of creativity is limited, restricting us to a narrow view of the phenomenon. To remedy this, I investigate new cases of behaviour, entities and systems. To do so, I construct a definition of creativity that can be applies outside the domain of human activity, and examine a broad array of examples that are entirely new to studies of creativity. In doing so, limitations owing to our ability to recognize creativity are made apparent. I argue that a new way of approaching creativity is required to overcome these limitations, and propose a diachronic definition of creativity based on a general systems law. Using the diachronic definition of creative behaviour. I discover a number of creative systems at different organizational scales, including prion adaptation and biogenesis. I argue that these newfound examples of creativity and the definition that exploses them, have significant implications for how we understand creativity.

Resumen
In “Proof-Theoretic Justification of Logic”, building on work by Dummett and Prawitz, I show how to construct use-based meaning-theories for the logical constants. The assertability-conditional meaning-theory takes the meaning of the logical constants to be given by their introduction rules; the consequence-conditional meaning-theory takes the meaning of the logical constants to be given by their elimination rules. I then consider the question: given a set of introduction (elimination) rules \(\mathcal{R}\), what are the strongest elimination (introduction) rules that are validated by an assertability (consequence) conditional meaning-theory based on \(\mathcal{R}\)? I prove that the intuitionistic introduction (elimination) rules are the strongest rules that are validated by the intuitionistic elimination (introduction) rules. I then prove that intuitionistic logic is the strongest logic that can be given either an assertability-conditional or consequence-conditional meaning-theory. In “Grounding Grounding” I discuss the notion of grounding. My discussion revolves around the problem of iterated grounding-claims. Suppose that \(\Delta\) grounds \(\phi\); what grounds that \(\Delta\) grounds that \(\phi\)? I argue that unless we can get a satisfactory answer to this question the notion of grounding will be useless. I discuss and reject some proposed accounts of iterated grounding claims. I then develop a new way of expressing grounding, propose an account of iterated grounding-claims and show how we can develop logics for grounding. In “Is the Vagueness Argument Valid?” I argue that the Vagueness Argument in favor of unrestricted composition isn’t valid. However, if the premisses of the argument are true and the conclusion false, mereological facts fail to supervene on non-mereological facts. I argue that this failure of supervenience is an artifact of the interplay between the necessity and determinacy operators and that it does not mean that mereological facts fail to depend on non-mereological facts. I sketch a deflationary view of ontology to establish this.<br>Philosophy

Resumen
AbstractThe philosophical heart of this book is embodied in the Philosophical Personality Argument, which is: Philosophically relevant intuitions are used as some evidence for the truth of some philosophical claims. Some differences in philosophically relevant intuitions used as evidence for the truth of some philosophical claims are systematically related to some differences in personality. If philosophically relevant intuitions are used as some evidence for the truth of some philosophical claims and those intuitions are systematically related to some differences in personality, then one’s endorsement of some philosophical claims is at least partially a function of one’s personality. Therefore, one’s endorsement of some philosophical claims is at least partially a function of one’s personality. In this chapter, we provide reasons to think (1) is true. We review evidence from Chaps. 2–4 providing reasons to think (2) is true. We discuss how premise (3) seems to capture standard ways that intuitions could be used as evidence. We then argue that the conclusion (4) poses substantial challenges to some philosophical projects (e.g., Neo-Platonic projects) but not necessarily others (e.g., conceptual analysis). We then defend premises 1–3 from several objections.

Resumen
Climate change has an increasingly significant impact on the lives of people around the world. In this context, of particular interest is the study of the philosophical aspect of climate change in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The study is based on a philosophical analysis of climate change, as well as a generalization of the opinions on environmental issues. The main method is a logical-analytical approach to revealing the philosophical context of climate change in the context of Yakutia. A philosophical view of climate change in Yakutia emphasizes not only technical aspects of the changes, but also draws attention to the importance of socio-ecological aspects of this problem. Philosophical analysis allows us to consider the issue of climate change as a socio-ecological phenomenon that requires an integrated approach including ecological consciousness, deep understanding and adoption of appropriate social decisions as climate change causes changes in the mentality and culture of the local population. Rising temperatures, drought, flood, forest fires and other climate changes create new challenges for society and require comprehension at a philosophical level. The philosophical aspect of climate change in Yakutia provides an in-depth analysis of the problem that allows us to consider climate change as a complex socio-ecological phenomenon that requires an integrated approach that includes eco-philosophical aspects. It emphasizes the need to integrate climate aspects into social consciousness of the local population of the region and make it eco-philosophical one.

It was the translation movement in Islamic civilization which made the works of Greek scholars available to the Muslims.[i] But not only did translators put the various works of Aristotle, Plato, Galen, and other philosophers into Arabic; the works of the Greek philosophers were also classified and catalogued, in which context mention should be made of two works by Abū Naṣr al-Fārābī, in one of which he presented the works of Plato, and in the other the works of Aristotle.[ii] Ḥunayn b. Isḥāq in his letter to ʿAli b. Yaḥyā mentioned individually 129 books that his co-workers had translated with him, and he gives a detailed description of how he obtained the manuscripts and how he compared the manuscripts with each other in order to arrive at correct and complete texts.

Resumen
The purpose of the research is to outline the structure of the main methodological ideas within the frames of interpretive thinking in the essay of the famous Vistnyk’s writer, critic and essayist Yevhen Malaniuk. Considering the purpose and tasks of the studio, an interdisciplinary methodological base, related to the author’s “national approach”, has been worked out. The epistemological potential of national philosophy as a philosophy of national existence, national science as a theory of nation, hermeneutics as a theory and practice of interpretation and post-colonialism as interpretation of cultural phenomena from the standpoint of anti- and post-imperial consciousness are used in the work. The scientific novelty is that on the basis of the previous hermeneutic generalization and definition of national-existential methodology, a propaedeutic outlining of the structure of national-philosophical concepts within the frames of the essayistic interpretation of reality in Ye. Malaniuk is proposed. In the methodological sense, the writer’s essayism is structured by such concepts as nation-centrism, idealism, voluntarism, heroism, and can be considered as one of the variants (close by the experiences of D. Dontsov, Yu. Lypa, M. Mukhyn, etc.) of the Vistnyk’s national-philosophical (national-existential, nationalistic or nation-centric) hermeneutics, that is, the way of understanding, which the author by himself outlined as a “national approach”. The support of Ye. Malaniuk as a culture-philosopher and exegete on the eternal nation-centric values and criteria in his essayistic studies makes his reflections not only historically interesting, but also theoretically productive, classically important for the development of modern Ukrainian hermeneutics and humanities in general.
