Background and Aim: In martial arts sparring programs, athletes' specialized attributes include aerobic and anaerobic capacity. In contemporary Wushu sparring training, it is common to emphasize the need to achieve absolute strength, while often neglecting the specialized training of Wushu sparring. The lack of specialized training can lead to deficiencies in the practical combat ability of Wushu Sanda athletes. These deficiencies can adversely affect the athlete's overall athletic performance. This study aims to develop and implement a specific training program to improve aerobic and anaerobic capacity in Wushu Sanda athletes. Materials and Methods: This study was an experimental study. The participants of this study can divided into 5 groups as follows: (1) To study the current situation and problems with the training program to improve aerobic and anaerobic capacity in Wushu Sanda, 60 Wushu Sanda athletes from the Guangdong Sanda team were invited to conduct a questionnaires survey, with the IOC value of 0.80, and 6 Wushu Sanda coaches were invited to conduct an interview, the IOC value for interview form was 0.8; (2) 7 experts invited to conduct expert interviews; (3) 12 experts were selected to conduct a focus groups for developing a special training program; (4) 7 experts were selected to evaluate and validate such special training program; (5) 60 Wushu Sanda athletes were participate in the experimental as a sample group. The experiment was conducted for 8 weeks of training and aerobic and anaerobic tests were performed before training, after week 4 of training, and week 8 of training to analyze and compare the data. In this research, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, and t-test dependent were used to analyze the data. The level of significant difference was 0.05. Result: The results showed that after the experiment, there was a significant difference between the pre-test, after 4 weeks of training, and post-test of the VO2max test and Wingate 30s test. The Wushu Sanda special training program designed by the researchers was effective in improving the aerobic and anaerobic capacity of the athletes. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the aerobic and anaerobic capacity of Wushu Sanda athletes can be effectively improved through the special training of Wushu Sanda, In Wushu Sanda competitions, better aerobic and anaerobic capacity can help athletes achieve better results.

This paper analyzes the development of Wushu Sanda movement in middle schools in Weinan City, Shan xi Province through the research methods of literature, questionnaire, logic analysis and expert interview, clears out the constraints of Wushu Sanda movement in middle schools, and puts forward corresponding solutions. The results show that: the effective time can not be well mastered; The site is inadequate or unsuitable; May cause fighting or disorder; Lack of martial arts education; Lack of teachers; Prone to sports injury; The lack of interest is the restricting factor that restricts the development of Wushu Sanda movement among young people. The author suggests that we should classify teaching according to the purpose of learning; Optimize the allocation and use of space; Changing the perception of parents and students; Strengthen military morality education; Recruit excellent Sanda teachers; Improve teaching quality and optimize service; Injury prevention and rehabilitation treatment are the effective countermeasures to solve the problem of Wushu Sanda movement among young people.

This article uses literature methods, experimental methods, mathematical statistics and other research methods to pay attention to instantaneous detection of male Sanda athletes of different sports levels under fatigue conditions. The results showed that male Sanda athletes' attentional blink phenomenon will be aggravated under fatigue state, but the position of the lowest point will not change. At the same time, excellent Sanda athletes will break away from the attention blinking phenomenon faster.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to find out the physical characteristics of Wushu athletes by comparing the differences on the results of physical fitness between the male athletes of the Wushu national team Taolu and the Sanda group. Methods Measurement of basic and professional fitness based on muscle function, targeting 37 men Wushu national team players (24 taolu, 13 Sanda) in the selection and evaluation contests twice in 2018 and 2019. Body composition, isometric muscle strength, flexibility and equilibrium, anaerobic power, and isokinetic muscle strength. The fitness factors were divided into two groups, Taolu and Sanda. Results First, body fat rate of the Sanda athlete group was significantly lower than that of the taolu athlete group (p<.01). Second, in the isometric muscle strength category(back muscle strength, grip strength), the Sanda athlete group had higher muscle strength than Taolu athlete group, but there was a statistically significant difference only in the left grip strength (p<.01). Third, in terms of flexibility and equilibrium, the taolu players were significantly higher in all items(p<.001). Fourth, in the anaerobic power, the taolu athlete group had higher both the peak power and the mean power, and there were a significant differences(peak power: p<.01, mean power: p<.001). Fifth, isokinetic muscle strength was significantly higher in the right knee flexion of the taolu athlete group (p<.01), and lumbar extensor muscle was significantly higher in the Sanda athlete group (p<.05). Sixth, in the isokinetic strength ratio, the knee flexion ratio of the Sanda athlete group were significantly higher on the left and right knee flexion and extensor ratios (p<.05). In addition, in the lumbar flexor and extensor ratios, the group of Sanda athlete group were significantly higher on the lumbar extensor(p<.05). Seventh, there was no significant difference between two groups in isokinetic muscle power. Conclusions The results of this study can be used as basic data to improve the efficiency of technical and physical training through the analysis of the characteristics of Taolu and Sanda. The effectiveness of this training will help to improve the performance.

The Sanda feeder is supplied by Antosari Substation through transformer unit II and ithas 3 reclosers, they are pempatan recloser,bangsing recloser and palisan recloser. Based onthe 2017 disturbance fault recapitulation data from PT PLN (Persero) Bali, it has been phasephaseand 1-phase ground short circuit in Sanda feeders almost every month. One of theproblems that often occurs in Sanda Feeders is when a phase-phase and 1-phase ground faultoccurs at the end of the feeder network and causes simultaneous trips to the recloser at thebase of feeder network, causing the Sanda feeder relay to blackout. This shows the systemneed to analyze the evaluation of the coordination settings for the OCR and GFR protectionsystem on the recloser and Sanda Feeder relays to minimize disturbances so as to improveservice continuity. The analysis and simuation results represent that, the existing settingconditions of OCR and GFR has coincide coordination curves and the grading time is still below0.3 seconds. The calculation and simulation of OCR and GFR that are carried out show that theprotection system works selectively in the absence of coincide coordinating curves and a timegrading value above 0.3 seconds according to the IEC 60255 standard.

Au XIXe siècle, la médecine légale se constitue comme une science à part entière. Dès 1795, après la réorganisation de l'enseignement médical, elle est intégrée à la formation des docteurs en médecine. Les magistrats considèrent que chaque médecin est capable de réaliser une autopsie médico-légale. Loin de structures adaptées, les médecins experts ordinaires doivent répondre aux attentes et questions des magistrats sur les causes du décès. Les conditions matérielles dans lesquelles ils effectuent les examens cadavériques sont peu conformes aux critères établis par la littérature spécialisée. Les médecins experts doivent s'adapter et improviser en fonction de la situation. De plus, leur participation à une procédure judiciaire constitue un risque professionnel et personnel. Mais, l'autopsie judiciaire est l'activité cadavérique qui offre le plus de libertés opératoires à ses praticiens. Réglementations, interdits et réticences populaires sont levés face à l'autopsie médico-légale
In the 19th century, forensic medicine is formed as a full science. From 1795, after the reorganization of medical education, it is included into the teaching for the doctorate of medicine. Judges consider each physician is able to carry out a forensic autopsy. Far from suitable structures, ordinary medical experts have to answer the judges' expectations and questions about the causes of death. They perform post mortem examinations in material conditions that are not in accordance with the criteria established by literature. Medical experts have to get used to the situation and to improvise. Moreover, their participation in legal proceedings is a professional and a personnel hazard. However, forensic autopsy offers more technical freedom than other post mortem activities. Forensic autopsy lifts all the regulations, the bans and the popular reluctances

Particle shape is evaluated on three scales corresponding to form, roundness and roughness. Shape at each of these scales uniquely influences material behavior. The shape of sand grains is largely formed as magma cools. Subsequent cleavage and abrasion change the roundness and roughness of particles. Published results indicate that particle shape influences several aspects of granular systems behavior including stiffness, strength, the evolution of strength anisotropy, dilation, and the development of strain localization. The crushing of granite creates a particulate material with a unique angular shape. A wide range of experimental studies implemented as part of this research permit assembling a unique database of material parameters and comparing the behavior of several crushed and natural sands. In general, the low roundness of crushed sands leads to higher maximum void ratios, lower small strain stiffnesses, and higher critical state friction angles than more rounded natural sands. It also impacts mortar strength and workability. Previous studies have emphasized size-controlled segregation. New experimental results show that differences in particle shape can also lead to segregation in a binary granular material. Round or spherical particles are more mobile than angular or flat particles. Then, the greater motion of round or spherical particles in a binary mixture subjected to horizontal or vertical vibration results in their segregation from their angular or flat neighbors. Particle shape may change significantly with stress in the case of soft particles. Therefore, the presence of shape-deformable particles decreases the stiffness of binary rigid-soft particle mixtures. However, macro-scale measurements with rigid-soft mixtures show higher stiffness than would be expected by volume averaging techniques. A subsequent microscale study shows the formation of backbone chains made of the rigid particles, partially supported by the soft particles which prevent the buckling of the load-carrying chains.

This thesis assessed the current prospect for implementing an ecosystem-based management for fisheries (EBFM) in the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem from national and regional level perspectives. A central result of the study is that the governance concept had been defined and used imprecisely in the literature. The way the different elements constitute EBFM revealed that both Bay of Bengal LME countries and existing regional fisheries organisations are unlikely to satisfy all the elements on the EBM checklist. The study also observes that the Bay of Bengal countries do not share a common understanding of EBFM.

This study developed a comprehensive research methodology for identification and quantification of sources responsible for pollutant build-up and wash-off from urban road surfaces. The study identified soil and asphalt wear, and non-combusted diesel fuel as the most influential sources for metal and hydrocarbon pollution respectively. The study also developed mathematical models to relate contributions from identified sources to underlying site specific factors such as land use and traffic. Developed mathematical model will play a key role in urban planning practices, enabling the implementation of effective water pollution control strategies.

The intensive and disordered use of the soil has been taking many ecosystems to the degradation, besides the ciliary ones that, in spite of they be considered by the legislation as Permanent Preservation Areas, they have been suffering constant antropic pressures and every time larger, and as consequence occur its degradation. In this wey, the present study has as objective evaluate the antropic pressure impacts on the ciliary forest of an urban-rural tributary on the watershed of the Vacacaímirim, Santa Maria - RS, seeking to diagnose the degradation degree and to indicate a subsequent recovery. The study was accomplished on the ciliary forest of the Lagoão do Ouro stream, tributary of 3th order of the Vacacaí-mirim river. The fountain is located in urban area, traveling several towns, the Campus of UFSM, besides an extensive rural area. The predominant soils are classified as: Argissolos Bruno-Acinzentados, Vermelho-Amarelos and Vermelhos , besides Planossolos Háplicos , being these of low natural fertility and quite susceptible to water erosion. Studies of surveying of the degradation were accomplished, in 12 sampling plots of 300 m2 each demarcated along of the margin of the Lagoão do Ouro stream, with the collection of the following information: species floristic surveying of natural occurrence and its regeneration potential, presence of exotic species, evaluation of the bank of soil seeds in two collection times, soil use, soil covering on surface level and by the canopy of the trees and surveying of the erosion (current and potential). The main soil chemical properties (analysis completes of routine) and physics (density, porosity, texture and structure) were appraised also, in each one of the sampling plots. The correlations of the environmental characteristics and antropics with the current erosion and potential erosive were unfolded in direct and indirect effects. After evaluation diagnostic of the degradation, the experiment of recovery of the ciliary ecosystem was preceded, through the revegetation with native species and natural regeneration, besides the soil bioengineering use for erosion control in the stream margin. The floristic surveying showed there to be degradation of the ciliary forest, evidenced by the low number of native species, for the bad distribution of the species in the different strata and for the great presence of exotic species. Just the species that presented larger frequency and that appear in the three floristic strata appraised possess potential of natural regeneration. The bank of soil seeds also showed there to be degradation of the ciliary forest, evidenced by the low number of native arboreal species and for the great number of exotic species and herbaceous invaders. Just the native arboreal species observed in the evaluation and that presented larger frequency possesses potential of regeneration natural through bank of soil seeds. There is correlation of the environmental and antropic factors with the erosion of the soil and with the erosive potential. Antropic interventions are necessary to recovery of the ciliary forest of the Lagoão do Ouro stream, in what concerns to the introduction of species that don't possess potential of natural regeneration and to soil bioengineering works in the margins with erosion more accentuated. The native species used in the recovery of the ciliary forest are appropriate for such an objective, presenting mortality percentage inside of acceptable limits and good initial growth. The soil bioengineering is a cheap and efficient technique in the control of the erosion of the margins of water courses. The experimental methodology of recovery, adopted, can be expanded in the Vacacaí-mirim watershed, mainly in the places where the stream margins are in advanced degradation level.
O uso intensivo e desordenado do solo tem levado muitos ecossistemas à degradação, inclusive os ciliares que, apesar de serem considerados pela legislação como Áreas de Preservação Permanente, têm sofrido pressões antrópicas constantes e cada vez maiores, tendo como consequência a sua degradação. Sendo assim, o presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar os impactos da pressão antrópica sobre a mata ciliar de um tributário urbano-rural na microbacia hidrográfica do Vacacaímirim, Santa Maria - RS, visando diagnosticar seu grau de degradação e indicar uma posterior recuperação. O estudo foi realizado na mata ciliar da Sanga Lagoão do Ouro, tributário de 3ª ordem do rio Vacacaí-mirim. Sua nascente localiza-se em área urbana, percorrendo várias vilas, o Campus da UFSM, além de uma extensa área rural. Os solos predominantes classificam-se como: Argissolos Bruno-Acinzentados, Vermelho-Amarelos e Vermelhos, além de Planossolos Háplicos, sendo estes de baixa fertilidade natural e bastante suscetíveis a erosão hídrica. Foram realizados estudos de levantamento da degradação, em 12 parcelas de 300 m2 cada, demarcadas ao longo da margem da Sanga Lagoão do Ouro, através da coleta das seguintes informações: levantamento florístico de espécies de ocorrência natural e seu potencial de regeneração, presença de espécies exóticas, avaliação do banco de sementes do solo em duas épocas de coleta, uso do solo, cobertura do solo em nível de superfície e de copada e levantamento da erosão (atual e potencial). Foram também avaliadas as principais propriedades químicas (análise completa de rotina) e físicas (densidade, porosidade, textura e estrutura) do solo, em cada uma das parcelas. As correlações das características ambientais e antrópicas com a erosão atual e potencial erosivo foram desdobradas em efeitos diretos e indiretos. Após avaliação diagnóstica da degradação, procedeu-se com experimento de recuperação do ecossistema ciliar, através da revegetação com espécies nativas e regeneração natural, além do uso de bioengenharia de solos para controle da erosão na margem da sanga. O levantamento florístico mostrou haver degradação da mata ciliar, evidenciada pelo baixo número de espécies nativas, pela má distribuição das espécies nos diferentes estratos e pela grande presença de espécies exóticas. Possuem potencial de regeneração natural apenas as espécies que apresentaram maior frequência e que aparecem nos três estratos florísticos levantados. O banco de sementes do solo também mostrou haver degradação da mata ciliar, evidenciada pelo baixo número de espécies arbóreas nativas e pelo grande número de espécies exóticas e herbáceas invasoras. Possuem potencial de regeneração natural via banco de sementes do solo apenas as espécies arbóreas nativas observadas na avaliação e que apresentaram maior frequência. Há correlação dos fatores ambientais e antrópicos com a erosão do solo e com o potencial erosivo. São necessárias intervenções antrópicas na recuperação da mata ciliar da Sanga Lagoão do Ouro, no que concerne à introdução de espécies que não possuem potencial de regeneração natural e a obras de bioengenharia de solos nas margens com erosão mais acentuada. As espécies nativas usadas na recuperação da mata ciliar são adequadas para tal objetivo, apresentando porcentagem de mortalidade dentro de limites aceitáveis e bom crescimento inicial. AbstractShield tunneling and construction in sandy soil have great safety risks, so it is necessary to study the soil disturbance caused by tunneling in sandy soil. However, the law of soil disturbance is still relatively vague, so this paper relies on the actual tunnel project, through high-density, close monitoring; The settlement law of soil around shield tunnel is studied and analyzed. The research shows that the settlement of soil disturbance is basically stable after the shield tail leaves the monitoring section about twice the length of the shield machine; During shield tunneling in sandy strata, the sand on the upper part of the tunnel is very easy to collapse, thus forming a “collapse arch”. The formation of this feature will be one of the reasons for the construction accidents of large diameter shield machines; The remarkable feature of soil disturbance around the tunnel in the water rich sand layer is that the maximum horizontal displacement of the measuring points at different locations occurs at the same depth, and does not develop from the tunnel center to the 45-φ/2 diffusion angle; The maximum horizontal deformation during tunnel construction is far less than the vertical deformation, so the horizontal displacement can be used to better analyze the actual impact of shield construction disturbance.

AbstractGrain ‘size’ can be specified and measured in several different ways. All methods of grain size determination have blemishes, and the choice of the most appropriate method is governed by the nature of the sample and the use to which the data are placed. Four main methods are currently used for size analysis of sands: (a) sieving; (b) settling tube analysis; (c) electro-optical methods, including Coulter Counter analysis and laser granulometry; and (d) computerized image analysis. The classification of the particle size distribution of Kuwait dust was mapped according to the parameters proposed by Folk And Ward (1957) which were widely used for quantitative comparisons between natural grain size distribution and the lognormal distribution that shows better sorted sediments have lower values of σ1. Maps of the distribution of dust in Kuwait were obtained that included: fine sand (F.S.), Coarse sand (C.S), Medium Sand (M.S), Very Fine Sane (V.F.S), Very Coarse Silt (V.C.Silt), Coarse Silt (C.Silt), Medium Silt (M.Silt), Fine Silt (F.Silt), Very Fine Silt (V.F.Silt), in addition to that, the deposition percentage of Clay, Sand, mud (silt plus clay) and silt were provided.

This project presents several successful case studies in 15 categories of dredged material along with the statutory and regulatory requirements for beneficial use of dredged material in Illinois. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency classification criteria for contaminated and uncontaminated dredged material are included with emphasis on Illinois requirements and characterization. Nine sites that have sandy dredged material stockpiles in Illinois are presented with suggestions for beneficially using the material. Based on this study, there is a high potential for beneficially using dredged material in Illinois for a range of projects. Currently, it is a state policy in Illinois to formally evaluate the history of possible nearby sources of chemicals that may have impacted the project sediments and to test the dredged material for chemical contamination before accepting for use on any highway project. However, the research team suggest that if the dredged material is mainly uncontaminated sand (e.g., greater than 80% sand) and is from a local site that does not have a history of contamination as determined by a formal evaluation, then the material is unlikely to be contaminated and may be easier to use and require little to no contaminate testing. Nevertheless, this proposed rule needs more testing and examination to be verified.

Resumen
Vibration compaction is the most effective way of compacting coarse-grained materials. The effects of vibration frequency and amplitude on the compaction density of different backfill materials commonly used by INDOT (No. 4 natural sand, No. 24 stone sand, and No. 5, No. 8, No. 43 aggregates) were studied in this research. The test materials were characterized based on the particle sizes and morphology parameters using digital image analysis technique. Small-scale laboratory compaction tests were carried out with variable frequency and amplitude of vibrations using vibratory hammer and vibratory table. The results show an increase in density with the increase in amplitude and frequency of vibration. However, the increase in density with the increase in amplitude of vibration is more pronounced for the coarse aggregates than for the sands. A comparison of the maximum dry densities of different test materials shows that the dry densities obtained after compaction using the vibratory hammer are greater than those obtained after compaction using the vibratory table when both tools were used at the highest amplitude and frequency of vibration available. Large-scale vibratory roller compaction tests were performed in the field for No. 30 backfill soil to observe the effect of vibration frequency and number of passes on the compaction density. Accelerometer sensors were attached to the roller drum (Caterpillar, model CS56B) to measure the frequency of vibration for the two different vibration settings available to the roller. For this roller and soil tested, the results show that the higher vibration setting is more effective. Direct shear tests and direct interface shear tests were performed to study the impact of particle characteristics of the coarse-grained backfill materials on interface shear resistance. The more angular the particles, the greater the shear resistance measured in the direct shear tests. A unique relationship was found between the normalized surface roughness and the ratio of critical-state interface friction angle between sand-gravel mixture with steel to the internal critical-state friction angle of the sand-gravel mixture.

Resumen
Active sand dunes in Kobuk Valley National Park are a regionally rare and ecologically distinct landscape feature occurring within the northern boreal biome. The sand dunes harbor a rich diversity of plants, including several rare and disjunct species and the endemic Kobuk locoweed (Oxytropis kobukensis). Pollinators associated with these dune plants have not been studied in Kobuk Valley, despite their essential role in transporting pollen which many plants rely on for successful reproduction. In order to gain a better understanding of pollinator diversity and plant-pollinator associations in this unique ecosystem north of the Arctic Circle, we conducted surveys of bees (Hymenoptera: Anthophila) and syrphid flies (Diptera: Syrphidae) in several places along the Kobuk River and in two active dune areas, the Hunt River Dunes and the Great Kobuk Sand Dunes, in late June-early July of 2017 and 2019. We used active and passive collecting methods to sample pollinators at 21 different sites and along five walking transects, and we documented plant associations for net-collected specimens. In all, we collected 326 bees and 256 syrphid flies, representing 27 and 37 taxa, respectively. The most abundant and widespread species collected among syrphid flies were Lapposyrpus lapponicus and Eristalis obscura. For bees, three soil-nesting solitary species, Andrena barbilabris, Megachile circumcincta, and Osmia tarsata made up 60% of the total bee catch. Dryas integrifolia, a widespread plant on the dunes, hosted the highest number of bee and syrphid fly taxa (13 and 20, respectively). Bumble bees (Bombus) and megachilid bees (Megachile, Osmia) favored several plants in the Fabaceae family, while mining bees (Andrena) were abundant on Salix species (willow). A high diversity of syrphid flies were collected on the composite Packera ogotorukensis, and Salix species. Our collections indicate that the endemic Oxytropis kobukensis was primarily visited by the mason bee, Osmia tarsata (44% of all visitors) and the leafcutter bee, Megachile circumcincta (27%). Bumble bees (genus Bombus) made up another 13% of all visitors to this plant. Our study confirms that the active sand dunes in Kobuk Valley provide an ecologically unique habitat both for plants and their associated insect pollinators. For example, many of the solitary bees living in the dunes rely on deep sands for nesting and thus are limited in their distribution across Arctic and boreal landscapes.
