Resumen
This article primarily examines the features of planning athletic training in track and field. A key component is selecting appropriate conditions and methods for conducting preparatory sessions and improving various techniques for working with young athletes. By focusing on the goals and outlined objectives of athletic training, more specific methods are determined to enhance athletic skills and abilities, both in individual and group settings for young athletes. The main objectives include the preparation of highly qualified athletes and national teams, as well as the training of instructors and referees in track and field. The article pays special attention to the theoretical preparation of track and field athletes, as well as the psychological training of sports teams. For effective work with young athletes, periodic and objective assessment of their readiness throughout the training process is of great importance, as is the athlete’s conscious attitude toward training at all stages of improvement.

Resumen
Big data analytics is a modern approach to analyzing information that has significantly inflected critical societal practices. There have been sign incant inefficiencies in harmonizing information and data collected within different spectrums and hence a lack of effective decision making, especially when it comes to identifying key strategies to be implemented in improving performance. The sporting industry is one of the biggest affected industries by this inefficiency. Wheel, there are various platforms through which information can be collected within the industry to make key decisions. There has been an inefficient approach to analyzing the information hence creating effective and sustainable decisions. Data analytics can be effectively used to improve player performance through tracking of critical data that gauges and examines any shortcomings within the player’s abilities (Colbert et al., 2016). In the contemporary world, sports viewed as traditional and cultural hence classified as folk sports, have gained significant popularity due to the increased use of technology within the sports. Sports analytics has contributed to making these sports sustainable through creating efficiencies in the gradual improvement of performances within the specific sport. Big data analytics in sports is an efficient tool that, if implemented properly, streamlines processes within the sports and facilities development of sporting strategies aimed at improving the players' performance.

Resumen
Book Summary: It is an essential skill for any strength and conditioning coach to be able to reliably assess the physical performance of their athletes and communicate the results and their implications to performers and coaches, alike. Performance Assessment in Strength and Conditioning is the first textbook to clearly and coherently suggest the most appropriate and reliable methods for assessing and monitoring athletes’ performance, as well as including detailed sections on testing considerations and the interpretation and application of results. The book explores the full range of considerations required to reliably assess performance, including questions of ethics and safety, reliability and validity, and standardised testing, before going on to recommend (through a comparison of field- and laboratory-based techniques) the optimal methods for testing all aspects of physical performance.

Resumen
In the modern world of sports, exercise is not considered a key success factor. Sport is an environment in which individuals need to motivate themselves to achieve long-term goals. Athletes are constantly required to cope with the stress of training and competitive pressure and thus manage and regulate their emotions. Research aim – to analyze the literature and to reveal aspects of the effect of dance on girls’ motor abilities.

Resumen
In any sport, competition is the quintessence of activity, the objective way to capitalize on the performance capacity of the practitioners, by comparison with themselves or others. The pandemic generated by Covid 19 deprived the dance sport of everything that meant a specific competitive context: zonal, national, international competitions, the joy of all categories of participants, from children to seniors, to meet on the dance floor, the emotion in the stands of parents and supporters of the competitors and, especially, the special show that almost no other sport offers during sporting events. It was obvious to everyone involved in Romanian dance sports (and not only) that all the restrictions imposed by the pandemic will limit the specific activity for an indefinite period, so a group of IT specialists, specialists in managing the organization of dance sports competitions sought and they found solutions to survive of the phenomenon called dance sports. Thus, by involving the above-mentioned categories, an online platform was born that allows the organization of evaluation seminars, dance festivals, sports competitions, examinations and promotion congresses. In this way, the motivation to practice dance sports can be maintained for athletes, specialists and adjudicators during this period. In this paper, we want to present a platform that aims to revive the competitive activity and, moreover, to bring a stain of normalcy in this strange and difficult period for everyone involved in dance sports. The online platform consists of several modules (competition administration, filming operator, arbitration, streaming show). The final product is a festival/competition that is broadcast live either on the YouTube channel or on the organizer's website.

Resumen
Tennis, a sport that can be played at any age, has become very popular in Latvia, and its prestige and commercialization have promoted the development of the sport in Latvia as well. However, taking into consideration that the tennis infrastructure is still not sufficient in quantity, there are not many opportunities to play it in sports schools. The study’s authors wanted to find out why public sports schools do not choose to include tennis in their range of sports sections. Currently, most young tennis players train in private tennis clubs. To clarify the situation, quantitative data surveys were conducted with representatives of sports schools, as well as qualitative interviews with specialists in the field of tennis. The results showed the impact of different aspects – the competence of coaches in the regions, infrastructure availability, and the funding model specifics. Based on the study’s results, the authors develop recommendations that should be followed so that tennis is more included in state sports schools. In this way, the mass formation of the sport would be promoted. Thus there is a higher probability of tending to a sport of increased achievement.

Resumen
The article presents the results of the theoretical analysis of the main aspects of sports training in cyclic sports. To effectively solve the problem of training in cyclical sports, it is necessary to study the laws of the reaction of the body of athletes, including the processes of fatigue and recovery in response to the physical exertion of various directions. It is very important to individualize the training process, taking into account the functional state and reserve adaptive capabilities of the body. The authors identify such reasons that influence the development of cyclical sports as socio-economic and political transformations that are constantly taking place in Russia; demographic changes caused by the decline in the population of Russia due to the collapse of the Soviet Union; structural and organizational reasons that suggest the existence of an outdated system for training highly qualified athletes, the lack of modern centers and bases for Olympic training, an effective management system for Olympic training in General, and a targeted policy for training coaches and sports and medical personnel. The technological reasons that arose as a result of a sharp reduction in targeted research in all branches of sports science and an archaic mechanism for the development and implementation of effective innovative technologies are revealed. There is a significant lag in the medical and biological provision of training for Olympic athletes, etc. The analysis showed that the lag in the structural, organizational, and technological blocks of Olympic training is caused by a decrease in the effectiveness of scientific research.

Resumen
Contemporary scientific research proves the staged nature of athletes' training, the special importance of the stages of sports mastery represents motor and technical-tactical training for performance women handball players. During the stages of sports mastery, the fundamental structures are established of the sports training’s contents in a logical order. So, the training system for athletes, in a four-year Olympic cycle, is being built progressively, evolving from simple to compound, starting with the training at the advanced stage year 5 until the sport’s mastery stage year 3, offering the possibility to perform a dynamic reasoning of integral training through the forms, methods and means specific to the Olympic cycle. In this way, the construction of operational structures is determined by determining the law for the transition from quantitative changes to qualitative changes in the stages of sports mastery. Through the interaction of technical-tactical learning as a form of special and progressively organized sports activity, physical, functional, mental, technical-tactical development is attracted, being in interdependent relationships within the stages of sports mastery, where stage learning is a priority in creation of ”the area of closest development”.

Resumen
Review question / Objective: A systematic review carried out intends to carefully analyze the literature on the relationship between demographic and psychosocial determinants and the conciliation of studies with sports life. It aims to analyse, synthesize and update existing research on career management and development, namely, the dual careers of high-performance sports athletes who, at the same time, attend secondary education, starting from the research question - What is the profile of European students-athletes who simultaneously practice high performance sport and study in secondary education?. Condition being studied: The educational experience facilitates sports development and the skills trained in a sports context are transferable to the world of education and work. Being an elite athlete becomes more and more demanding as the number of training hours increases (20-30h/week) and the frequency of competitions, which has immediate implications for lifestyle and time management, requiring greater effort and commitment to fulfill your role as a student and athlete. Succeeding in both careers is highly demanding and challenging.
