The purpose of this paper is to analyze the strategies carried out by Supply Logistics in the supply chain using supply chain management analysis also to facilitate the logistics chain in Indonesia. SCM previous research did not have a studio that discussed supply chain by manager logistics strategies and what methods they used to maintain logistics inventory. The research methodologists carried out using qualitative adopted an exploratory data analysis (EDA) approach to qualitative research that defines and explains the issues obtained. Open coding was applied to find issues the most dominant and was used to classify the number of issues related to the data and visualized into word cloud obtained using NVIVO 12 Plus. Data were collected from Indonesia logistic supply chain sites. The findings of this article is ROI (Return on Investments) is a logistics strategy will support for reducing the investment costs by logistics provider company. Analysis of supply chain management can develop better emphasizes logistic chains in Indonesia.Dalam artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis strategi dalam tantangan penyaluran logistic yang merata. Dengan menggunakan analisis sistem Supply Chain Management (SCM) yang akan memetakan strategi apa yang dilakukan Indonesia dalam tantang penyaluran logistik. Studi SCM terdahulu telah banyak adanya, namun tidak berfokus pada penyaluran logistik dalam strateginya untuk menjaga keseimbangan rantai pasokan logistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mengadopisi pendekatan Exploratory Data Ananlysis (EDA) untuk menjelaskan dan mendefinisikan temuan masalah. Open Coding dikukan untuk menemukan topik dan mengklasifikasikan yang dominan dan memvisualisasikannya menjadi word cloud dengan NVIVO 12 Plus. Data diperoleh dari website logistic supply chain Indonesia. Temuan dari artikel ini adalah Return on Investments (ROI) adalah strategi yang digunakan dalam strategi logistik yang akan membantu mengurangi dengan melakukan investasi dari beberapa perusahaan penyaluran logistik. Analisis SCM dalam penyaluran logistik dapat mengembangan tekanan tantangan logistik di Indonesia.

Abstract Logistics is defined as an interdisciplinary science, which deals with coordination, harmonization, connection and optimization of material, product and service flows including flows of information and finance. The main aim of logistics is to satisfy needs of the customer with importance of quality aspect and optimal costs. The paper is focused on practical logistic problems within the company, its suppliers and customers so overall supply chain is analyzed there. The aim of the paper is to provide practical simulation and calculation of selected logistic examples such as procurement, storage and distribution on case studies. These logistic aspects are analyzed in way, how are they explained to students in university educational process on school subjects that deal with logistics in some case. The simulation of storage process is done with specialized software called Byron, which is also used for educational purposes.

The article explores theoretical and methodical aspects of managing dual relationships that arise between participants in logistic cooperation in the process of formation and functioning of supply chains. The use of a behavioral approach to defining supply chains has allowed identifying and justifying the priority role of behavioral factors that influence modern logistics entities and determine the effectiveness and long-term satisfaction with logistics cooperation. Given the literature summary, the study has classified types of cooperation in logistic activity and proved that among the behavioral factors influencing the of logistical cooperation efficiency, the trust is of particular importance, which remains a limitation, a bottleneck in the process of formation and development of dual relationships in logistics chains. It is proposed to introduce a generic indicator, namely the level of confidence in the supply chain to assess the social, economic and strategic aspects of logistics interaction. A methodological approach to assessing the level of trust in logistic cooperation was adjusted based on determining the composition of criteria that directly affect this indicator and using the expert survey of supply chain participants. The study proposes to use the confidence indicator to form and improve networks and supply chains, taking into account its value when constructing a generalized outsourcing model.

Nowadays, companies offer various logistics services to their customers. Diversity of these services is essential for business. The range of services that logistics companies cover depends on various factors; it can be solely transport, but can also be a complex service that includes organisation of raw materials delivery, warehousing, delivery of finished goods to customers and dealing with documents like invoices, waybills and others. The increasing popularity of logistics in services is noticeable. This is connected with global changes. This is a complex phenomenon that connects aspects and features of services and logistics. The three most important areas for logistics in services are: minimisation of waiting time, management of service potential and service delivery. The goal of this article is to reveal the difference between these two subjects and review the literature connected with them. The main conclusions are that logistics services can be seen as belonging to logistics in the services phenomenon. In every area of logistics in services, three phases can be distinguished: supply, production and sales. Germany has the leading position in Europe when it comes to the logistics services market. Dynamic changes in logistics have led to the development of a new classification of logistics enterprises. The European Commission is analysing changes in the sector in order to prepare new strategic objectives.

Purpose – Globalization has led worldwide organizations to balance their economic and environmental performances in order to achieve a concrete sustainable development. In an environmental centered world, logistics is called to put into action advanced programs based on technological and organizational improvement, in order to gain or maintain a concrete competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how logistics organizations try to face the recent ecological challenges and the role that the emergent green technologies play in making them finally “green” and competitive. Design/methodology/approach – Green supply chain management (GSCM) practices have been investigated to better understand their influence on economic performance and corporate competitiveness. After providing a background discussion on Green Logistics and GSCM, the authors have also identified specific research questions that are worthy of investigation, also thorough the DHL case study. The case study analysis has been conducted according to a specific conceptual model (Rao and Holt, 2005), which allows a deeper understanding of literature review results. Findings – The present paper offers some insights on innovation influence on supply chain management (SCM) greenness, a process oriented to a sustainable and environmental-friendly approach to management of supply chain. According to DHL case study evidence, in logistics innovation, often based on emerging green technologies, is strictly related to the development of a much more sustainable and environment-friendly approach to SCM, based on reduction of core activities’ ecological impact, cost saving, quality, reliability, performance and energy efficiency. In this context, the respect of environmental regulations is fundamental to achieve not only a reduction of ecological damage, but also to overall economic profit. Research limitations/implications – There is a concrete need of further research to better understand the potential link between GSCM, green innovation and logistic organizations competitiveness. In fact, this research area still represents a source of interesting challenges for practitioners, academicians and researchers. Concluding, the research findings cannot be generalized to all logistic organizations, even if DHL is on of the most important and globalized logistic companies. Future researches should empirically test the achieved results also through comparative studies based on a large sample. Originality/value – The suggestion of literature review and the result of case study analysis represent a first attempt to better understand the real and potential influence of GSCM on corporate image and competitiveness. In fact, the present investigation has pointed out that logistic organization can achieve environmental goals and acquire a better positioning than their competitors also cooperating with stakeholders. Therefore, it is necessary that organizations contribute to make them able to participate in corporate activities and develop a concrete environmental-friendly orientation, based on the respect of market’s requests and environmental regulations in order to get their corporate reputation strong than ever.

The paper discusses a number of construction project logistics problems, with focus on supply systems, and presents the results of recent survey of Polish contractors’ supply routines. On the basis of the survey, patterns of development of logistic systems have been described. The enclosed results of cost simulations indicate that outsourcing supply logistic processes, considering the current state of Polish construction market, may reduce costs. The paper emphasises that creating logistic guidelines of a project at its early stages of planning and then a design of integrated logistic service to the project may help find ways of making a construction project more effective.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems address the problem of disparate information in an organization and coordinates mechanisms to eliminate supply chain sub-optimization. Logistics costs are a substantial part of an operation and this research provides insights into the relationship between ERP implementations and logistics costs. The research uses a two-step approach, conducting a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to assess the psychometric properties of our measures and then conducting an independent sample t-test between two groups, one which experienced decreased logistic costs and the second which experienced the same or increasing logistic costs. By examining the effects of ERP implementations on a specific area of the firm, logistics costs, this research has provided insight into the areas of ERP implementation and firm impact.

Regional integration into the Gulf Cooperation Council has enabled respective countries to effectively participate in global supply chains. To ensure effective integration of this region into global supply chains, logistics operations are a very important determinant. The aim of this study was to assess logistical performances of GCC countries, and to identify which country has the best conditions for establishing a regional logistic center. For this study, we used relevant data from Logistics Performance Index (LPI) developed by the World Bank. The research was conducted using a hybrid multicriteria approach based on the CRITIC and MABAC methods. The findings of this study indicate that the United Arab Emirates has the best conditions for establishing a regional logistics center. This study also releveled the areas of logistics in which other GCC countries should make an improvement to improve their logistical performance.

Purpose – of the study is to indicate the path of much needed segmentation in the Croatian tourist supply. Therefore, it aims to identify the destination-specific elements of bicycle destinations in Europe, within the context of cycle tourism demand. Design – While the quality of the tourist product is proportional to the level of logistics implementation and the rivalry on the tourist market is supply chain-based, the focus is on a crucial element of tourist supply chain management—information. Methodology – The study recognizes both counterparts on the market, although highlighting the tourist supply. The data on supply was collected by researching the internet information sources available to cycle tourists while making travel decisions. Findings on the destinations’ logistic product variables are compared to criteria set by the researched cycle tourism demand. Approach – This small-scale research of bicycle tourism supply aims at testing the selected criteria for the purpose of a sequential wider research oriented towards providing a list of possible upgrades for Croatian destinations. Findings – Among all features attributable to a destination, research demonstrated that the cycle tourists’ primary focus is on information accessibility. The cycling-specific supply recognizes this information dependency and targets the market by a variety of needed information, while general tourist sites often lack complete information. Value – Similar research of bicycle tourism does not exist. The field is mainly contributed to trough conceptual discussions and studies of existing practice. This research establishes to what extent the demand and supply side match by identifying the common attributes of cycle tourism destinations.

In this study, some improvement and innovation ideas of Chinese traditional exhibition logistics were proposed through the characteristic analysis of international exhibition logistics. A new supply chain structure model of international exhibition logistics is needed to accelerate the specialization, speed, standardization and informatization of exhibition logistics.

I veicoli a pilotaggio remoto, o più comunemente droni, stanno sempre più prendendo piede in una società che non ha più tempo per l’attesa e desidera tutto nel minor tempo possibile. Grazie alla loro versatilità, alla loro facilità di controllo e al loro prezzo accessibile, anche i più grande player logistici hanno iniziato ad intravedere in questi mezzi un modo per diminuire i costi, aumentare il livello di servizio e cavalcare allo stesso tempo l’onda dell’avanzamento tecnologico portato avanti dai principi dell’industria 4.0. All’interno dell’ottica supply chain, i droni hanno la capacità di migliorare i processi esistenti, come per esempio le attività effettuate nell’ultimo miglio, sempre più di cruciale importanza se pensiamo a quanti prodotti vengono consegnati ogni giorno in tutto il mondo; se guardiamo invece alla logistica indoor un drone permette di ottimizzare quelle operazioni che sono per definizione time consuming e di basso valore, come per esempio le attività di inventario. Non solo, se si osserva il topic da un punto di vista più ampio è possibile immaginare come questa nuova tecnologia possa avere un ruolo cruciale anche in altre attività logistiche non direttamente correlate ad ambienti produttivi, come per esempio le operazioni di logistica umanitaria, le attività di sorveglianza e di monitoraggio, l’agricoltura di precisione, e molto altro ancora. Il tema è quindi più complesso ed attuale di quello che sembra, ed è proprio questo il motivo per cui è necessario ora più che mai aggiornare lo stato dell’arte di questa tecnologia, con lo sguardo rivolto alle attività svolte in ambito supply chain. L’obiettivo della tesi è quindi quello di entrare nel dettaglio e scoprire come tutti i processi logistici più importanti possano essere influenzati dall’utilizzo dei droni.

El emprendimiento es una tendencia a nivel global y el Perú no es ajeno a esto. Nuestro país ocupa el quinto puesto a nivel mundial con emprendimientos en etapa temprana, de acuerdo con el Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Perú, el cual es desarrollado por el Centro de Desarrollo de Emprendimientos de la universidad de ESAN. De acuerdo con Mi Banco, entidad financiera encargada de financiar a las medianas, pequeñas y microempresas comenta, que muchos de los emprendedores no cuentan con una adecuada gestión de inventarios. Incluso, algunos lo consideran poco relevante, para su giro de negocio por el tamaño de su empresa. En el presente estudio se propuso como objetivo principal crear una herramienta que permita a los emprendedores tener una mejor gestión de inventarios e insumos, acorde a estas bases se creó Logistic. Identificamos que muchos emprendedores no consideran importante la gestión de inventarios por considerarse pequeñas empresas. Además, muchas herramientas similares tienen costos muy altos para sus necesidades, por lo que este segmento de clientes lo señala como un gasto más que como una inversión que pueda generar rentabilidad. Por ello, con un precio accesible para el mercado objetivo, buscamos obtener retroalimentación de los clientes potenciales, permitiéndonos conocer con mayor detalle sus requerimientos. Además, se han agregado informes periódicos a la aplicación para que puedan comprender más fácilmente el desarrollo de su negocio. Luego de realizar un minucioso estudio de mercado, soporte matemático y proyecciones, se pudo elaborar el presente trabajo.
Entrepreneurship is a global trend and Peru is no stranger to this. Our country ranks fifth in the world with startups in the initial stage, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Peru, which is developed by the Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship of the University of ESAN. On the other hand, Mi Banco, a financial institution in charge of financing medium, small and micro-enterprises, comments that many of the entrepreneurs do not have adequate inventory management. Some do not even consider it relevant, for their line of business, due to the small size of their company. The main objective of this study was to create a tool that allows entrepreneurs to have a better management of inventories and supplies, in accordance with these bases "LOGISTIC" was created. It was identified that many entrepreneurs do not consider inventory management important because they are small companies. In addition, many similar tools have very high costs for their needs, which is why this customer segment indicates it as an expense rather than an investment that can generate profitability. Therefore, with an accessible price for the target market, we seek to obtain feedback from potential customers, allowing us to know their requirements in greater detail. In addition, periodic reports have been added to the aplication so that they can more easily understand the development of your business. After having carried out a thorough market study, mathematical support and projections, the present work could be elaborated.

This diploma thesis is aimed on problems of supply chain management with selected assortment. It is focused on particular ways of supply management with fresh meat, on the flow of goods from producer to final customer and analyze the impact on key performance indicators pursued by a company. In the first three parts of the thesis is described the logistics systém in Ahold Czech Republic. In the following part of the thesis, supply chain of selected assortment is analyzed in this particular company and also how it is defined in the logistics theory. It is followed by detailed analysis of the new logistic system which was proposed to launch, including the definition of critical points. Final part of this diploma thesis is devoted to summary of expected benefits and costs and to evaluation of this new logistics system according to actual results.

Unibrands is a small company that has implemented a postponement strategy without knowing it. However, they have not implemented completely because they do not know the theories behind it. This report is an attempt to understand and analyze the problems of the implementation of postponement in the supply chain of Unibrands, in terms of examining the theoretical succeeds factors of postponement implementation in the case of Unibrands.The purpose is to determine what type of postponement strategy the supply chain use and what factors can hinder the use of postponement strategy in a SME fashion supply chain by applying an qualitative research approach. The collection of empirical data was through the interview guide approach in which we used meetings and telephone interviews with people representing Unibrands and their contact trading company. The results of this research can be concluded in few perspectives. Unibrands is imple-menting postponement in an improper format, with the results of several gaps in the supply chain related to the success factor in postponement. The request for the fully customization in colors and materials, the bottleneck of relationship developing which is caused by factory manager,  complicated procedures for sample testing, and lack of knowledge of different relationships in the supply chain. Postponement is never perfect, but for Unibrands some problems could very well hinder the efficiency in the supply chain. Solutions are proposed to solve the problems in chain. The proposals suggest re-lationship improvement and information sharing. In addition, culture adaptation by in-volving the right people in the right process.

Resumen
In the monograph reviewed the development of the inventory management of railway transport in the new economic environment of market economy. According to the results of theoretical research, innovative and production potential of the supply system of railway transport the main directions and methods of transformation of the restructuring process under the corporate changes of JSC "RZD", positioned value system of the logistics of railway transportation, and developed a classification model used logistical resources. Evaluation of activity of structural divisions of Russian Railways supply is proposed to be viewed through an integrated and comprehensive approach to the development of systems of balanced indicators of supply and prompt handling of material resources, the implementation of which allows to distribute the strategic objectives of the company "Russian Railways" activities in the system of logistics of the Railways and also to involve in economic circulation of excessive and unused inventories of material and technical resources and efficiently reallocate them among enterprises at the site of the railway. Recommendations for the implementation of the developed algorithms and models are long term in nature and are based on the concept of logistics management and improve the business processes of the logistics system. Will be useful for managers and specialists of directorates of logistics of Russian Railways supply, undergraduates and graduate students interested in the economy of railway transport.

Resumen
The paper analyzes various inventory management systems used in large foreign firms, based on integrated planning in matters of movement of information and material resources. Logistic systems are characterized by the presence of complex random relationships within these systems, which requires not only the distribution of logistics functions among all participants in the supply chain, but also the integration of individual links in the supply chain into a single system enabling to optimally solve the problems of material and information support at all levels of manufacturing processes and to adequately respond to the effects of external factors. These tasks in modern logistics practice are solved by various planning models described in this paper.

Logistics cost is an important contributor to the overall cost in a supply chain system. By using collapsible containers, the frequency of return freight can be reduced and the return of containers can be optimized, leading to potential logistic cost savings. However, the dynamic behavior of container flows due to demand, inventory, storage, and repair requirements make it difficult to accurately analyze container system performance. An accurate estimation of this collapsible container usage impact is of great importance for decision-making. This paper describes the development of a mathematical model of the container dynamic flow system by using the collapsible containers. A continuous time, discrete space Markov process is used for stochastic scenario. The model determines the total cost savings, based on the collapsible rate, the number of collapsible containers, the performance of the factory and the supplier and the transportation environment. The presented mathematical formulation enables the evaluation of the system performance. A case study of collapsible container supply chain system demonstrates the advantages of this methodology. In addition, a simulation model of this stochastic system is presented to verify the mathematical model. Simulation tests are conducted to demonstrate the potential logistics cost savings in the closed-loop supply chain system.

Increased competition and low oil prices coupled with promising prospects for new oil and gas (O&G) reserves in the Arctic region has led to expansion of activities into the offshore Arctic. This brings along new challenges for the offshore logistics that need to be addressed. These challenges impose more stringent requirements for the logistics system setup, especially on the design and operation of vessels. Copying the logistics system and vessels designed for the North Sea operations is not a sustainable way forward. The few existing studies related to Arctic logistics mainly focus on ship technology solutions for cold and ice infested areas or solutions to the area-specific operational challenges for shipping companies. However, there is a need to understand how these solutions are connected and impact each other in a larger offshore supply logistics system, and thus address the challenges of Arctic logistics as a whole. A methodology for quick evaluation of the feasibility and costs of the logistics system in the early stages of offshore supply planning was developed and presented in previous research [1]. It allows for testing the effects of using alternative ship designs and the overall supply fleet composition on system’s cost and performance while satisfying prospective campaign requirements. Safety standards and requirements for emergency preparedness and environmental performance are taken into account while cost effectiveness of the logistics system as a whole is the main quantifiable measure. Building on the new methodology a simulation tool for remote offshore operations has been developed and is presented in current work. Simulation models allow us to consider the dynamic and uncertain nature of variables, such as variation in weekly transport demand, weather impact on sailing times and fuel consumption, and schedule deviations. The evaluation of the performance of a logistic system is done by simulating the logistic operation over a large number of scenarios. Input parameters are weather data generated from historical observations and probability distributions for transport demand. Output from the tool are key performance indicators for: system costs, logistic robustness and emergency preparedness. The tool consists of three main components: simulation of a regular supply logistics operation, simulation of emergency situations, and visualization of the simulated operations. The proposed methodology and tool are tested on real-life cases for offshore supply planning of drilling campaigns in remote areas for one of the major international O&G operators.

Cost effective creation of value through integration of logistic processes is considered as a significant source of competitive advantage of applied logistics. This transition to supply systems with a dynamic structure requires solutions to a number of problems; one of them is to setup the ways of cooperation between the entities inside supply chains. Application of different forms of cooperation depends on a lot of problems inter alia on branch characteristics and characteristics of the manufactured product. Therefore, this paper identifies and evaluates, on the basis of comparison of literature research outcomes and analysis of cooperation ways between partners within chosen supply system in the chemical industry, the ways, the conditions, and the advantages of this cooperation.
