Актуальність. Моделювання систем регулювання в середовищі розробки програмного забезпечення контролерів, наприклад в Step 7 TIA Portal, дозволяє провести налагодження параметрів функціональних блоків ПІД-регуляторів, перевірку грубості САР до варіацій параметрів об’єкта керування та безударність переходів між ручним та автоматичним режимом роботи. Мета. Показати приклади корекції програмного коду функціональних блоків бібліотеки “LSim”, які фірма Siemens рекомендує для моделювання об’єкта керування, що забезпечують встановлення довільних початкових умов в цифрових аналогах диференційних рівнянь динамічних ланок. Метод. Аналіз оригінального коду функціональних блоків бібліотеки “LSim” та його подальша корекція, моделювання скоригованих функціональних блоків в середовищі Step 7 TIA Portal. Результати. Наведені фрагменти кодів функціональних блоків, які дозволяють моделювати ланку запізнення, інерційну ланку першого порядку, інтегруючу ланку з довільними початковими умовами. Проведено моделювання скоригованих функціональних блоків в середовищі Step 7 TIA Portal та співставлення результатів із результатами моделювання аналогічних динамічних ланок в середовищі Simulink/MATLAB. Проведено моделювання САР із використанням зазначених блоків. Висновки. Запропоновані зміни коду функціональних блоків бібліотеки “LSim”, які реалізують ланку запізнення, інерційну ланку першого порядку, інтегруючу ланку, дозволяють врахувати довільні початкові умови в цих ланках, що забезпечує моделювання динамічно сталих режимів САР в середовищі Step 7 TIA Portal.

Resumen
En este artículo se presenta el diseño de la estrategia de control para la reducción de ppm de ácido sulfhídrico, presente en el biogás crudo, extraído de unos biodigestores, mejorando así las condiciones del biogás para ser utilizado en generación eléctrica. Ante la falta de acceso a la planta, se aprovecha la disponibilidad de unos datos del funcionamiento de la torre de filtración, y utilizando redes neuronales artificiales se obtiene un modelo del proceso. Se construye con este modelo un lazo de control PID, en Simulink, para determinar los parámetros de sintonía del controlador que permitan obtener el desempeño adecuado del proceso. Para desarrollar el programa de control en un autómata programable, se utiliza la aplicación TIA Portal de Siemens, implementando la estrategia de control en un PLC serie S7-1500. Mediante intercambio de datos entre la aplicación TIA Portal y Simulink. a través de una aplicación OPC, se determina el comportamiento del proceso de acuerdo a las condiciones de diseño establecidas. Se diseña una interfaz gráfica de usuario, HMI, desde la cual el operario puede visualizar el estado del proceso o modificar algunas condiciones de su funcionamiento.

Resumen
The article deals with process monitoring in an automated workplace from the company FESTO using RFID technology. It contains a detailed software and hardware configuration and the programming of the RFID read head (BALLUFF) in the Siemens software environment (TIA Portal). Furthermore, the article aims to point out the possibilities of processing data obtained in such a form. Another activity is the ongoing evaluation of these data and their projection into a graphical format (e.g., trend graphs).

El proceso de lavado de garrafones de 20 litros basado en un sistema con diseños de control, permite mejorar el consumo del desinfectante determinando una cantidad estimada para cada garrafón en un tiempo promedio, esto se da mediante la ejecución realizada en una estructura diseñada para dos botellones, en donde descansan sobre dos soportes previamente construidos por sistema de impresión 3D que es lo ideal para este proceso ya que no existen en el mercado, la ubicación del garrafón será 90° en dirección hacia abajo sujeto por fricción que evita que salga expulsado por la fuerza del flujo, el proceso es manipulado mediante botones físicos de acción o botones digitales diseñados en una interfaz gráfica (HMI), obtener el flujo necesario para el proceso de lavado requiere de una identificación, es decir el modelo analítico, que será realizado en la etapa del bombeo del desinfectante, consiguiendo como resultado una ecuación denominada función de transferencia, esto implica una lectura de datos que obtendremos con un sensor de flujo, la misma que nos permitirá extraer una base de datos para el proceso de identificación obtenida mediante programación en el software TIA Portal, este registro de información del flujo será procesado en la plataforma de Matlab que es la que nos permitirá determinar dicha función, al obtener esta ecuación podemos diseñar el controlador en la misma planta con la cual podremos programar el controlador en TIA Portal con los valores obtenidos.

Pada umumnya perkembangan teknologi modern dan otomatisasi didunia industri saat ini banyak membuat pekerjaan menjadi lebih mudah. Banyak industri yang mulai meninggalkan sistem manual dan sudah beralih ke sistem otomasi dan teknologi yang lebih modern. Masalah lain yang timbul dari sistem manual adalah industri yang masih menggunakan sistem manual. Maka industri sekarang dituntut untuk menghasilkan produk secara cepat agar dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen, dengan kualitas dan proses industri sesuai standard perusahaan dan mencapai target yang lebih maksimal. Alternatif yang dapat dilakukan melihat masalah yang masih banyak di industri saat ini, yaitu dengan dibangunnya proses produksi yang menggunakan sistem otomatis. Dari tuntutan industri seperti ini maka dikembangkan suatu sistem kontrol otomasi modern menggunakan PLC. Dimana saat sekarang ini PLC sangat banyak dijadikan sebagai kontrol otomasi utama dalam sebuah industri. Selain itu juga menggandengkan PLC dengan HMI. Salah satu fungsi utama HMI untuk menghubungkan manusia dengan teknologi dan meningkatkan interaksi antara mesin dengan operator melalui tampilan layar. HMI sendiri berfungsi untuk menampilkan kesalahan mesin, proses sistem, status sistem yang sedang berjalan dan melakukan maintenance terhadap kinerja mesin. Untuk mengantisipasi semua itu, sistem mounting device ini didesain menggunakan PLC sebagai kontrol dan menggunakan HMI untuk memonitoring keadaan alat yang dikontrol semua oleh PLC SIEMENS Type S7 300 dan ditampilkan di HMI menggunakan software TIA Portal versi 13. Dengan adanya alat ini, setidaknya dapat meningkatkan penguasaan dan kemampuan menggunakan PLC sebagai sistem kontrol dan mampu menggunakan HMI sebagai monitoring alat. Juga dapat menguasai program dengan menggunakan Software TIA Portal v 13.

The diploma thesis deals with an automatic code generation for PLC from Siemens. The first part focuses on currently available tools for code generation and options of C# library Siemens TIA Openness. Furthermore, a design for the project structure in the TIA portal is created. Finally, a user application for automatic code generation in TIA portal v15 is designed and created, especially suitable for larger projects that could be divided into individual stations.

Resumen
This thesis focuses on creating an application that allows generation of PLC and HMI programs using TIA Openness. The application is programmed to separate logic from graphics, which is beneficial in case of a change of the visuals of the application. Generating programs is possible thanks to the XML transcription or by creating a configuration within the application guide. The generating is done by overwriting source XML files contained in the application library according to the selected configuration. The application was created with Framework Windows Forms in C#. A reference set of device modules has been created for PLC and HMI in the development environment of TIA Portal V15.1. The source XML files, on the basis of which the generating is carried out, were then obtained by exporting a reference set and placed into the application library. With a simulation tool Factory I/O and S-7 PLCSIM it was verified that the generated program is, thanks to the mapping of variables on pins of blocks, fully functional in manual mode. At the same time it was proved that it is possible to generate programs for different devices which signifies the versatile use of this application. The contribution of this work is the significant reduction of time when creating new PLC and HMI programs.

The MS260 is a biding and wrapping machine. It is an end-of-line machine designed and created by IMA S.p.A and, in particular, by the division dedicated to the end-of-line, i.e. IMA BFB. The thesis work is concentrated on the development of the machine by exclusively using Siemens hardware and software. In particular, the MS260 analysed is divided into two parts. The PLC part is characterized by Siemens hardware with the relative algorithm developed through the TIA Portal software. At the same time, the motion control part is entirely characterized by elements linked to the Schneider world. Drives and motors belong to the aforementioned company, as well as the algorithm is developed through the native software MachineExpert. The objective of the thesis is, then, divided into two parts. First of all, it is necessary to study the characteristics of the machine. This allows to select a suitable hardware for the new code. The study of the motor performances allow an optimal choice of the agitations from the Siemens catalog. Furthermore, the replacement of the drives requires also the change of the PLC, passing to an hardware capable of handling more advanced control. Secondly, the motion control algorithm must be developed and integrated. To do this, some Siemens libraries are exploited while others must be created in order to exploit non-native functions. The final integration foresees the adaptation of the PLC code to the new organization of the motion algorithm and the partial modification of the HMI software to add the new functionalities.

In this work I deal with the project of an automated robotic bartender, whose task is to show model concepts such as virtual commissioning, digital factory or industry 4.0. The work resolves two parts (cells) for the overall construction. Individual cells are solved from the design and realization of the construction through the virtual verification of operation to the design and realization of the control itself for the given cells. The construction solution was created in SolidEdge ST10. Virtual verification will be solved in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate program and the implementation of PLC and HMI control by Siemens is programmed in the TIA Portal. Wiring diagrams were drawn in the student version of the EPLAN design environment. Other colleagues work on other parts of the barman project.

A temperature sensor is a device to measure the temperature through an electrical signal. It requires a thermocouple or resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and will interface with a programmable logic controller (PLC). A temperature transmitter is a device that connects to a temperature sensor to transmit the signal elsewhere for monitoring and control purposes that its role is to convert the temperature sensor's signal to a 0-10V DC voltage in the PLC. The PLC voltage signal setting is compared to the temperature deviation after the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) operation. Then, the system will issue a temperature control signal to achieve the cooling system voltage control so that it implements continuous monitoring and temperature control. The temperature control system in the industrial field has a certain value that it is an important factor for controlling temperature. A certain value of the temperature of the desired environment has to be set with a minimum and maximum set-point temperature which is suitable for that environment and the set-point value can be variable and can be changed with Human Machine Interface (HMI) easily.

PID is a prevalent tool of automatic control in both industry and home environment, and PID parameters are often forced to modify because of systematic service on the machines or systems, which is time-costing. The project aims to investigate the possibility of applying neural network and reducing PID configuration in controlling industry process, by means of establishing control models and comparing control performance between conventional PID method and improved PID control based on neural network where two built neural networks are considered as cores to adjust weights which result in the suggested PID parameters. Adaptive learning rate is also applied which is adjusted by the algorithm based on the error changes. Algorithm program is written in Siemens TIA Portal and simulated in Factory I/O. In general, the simulations after analysis have shown that the proposed model has a better performance than conventional PID in terms of steady state, deviations and consistency of control value except tuning time. In the future the author is dedicated to continue improving the mentioned model through quickening learning process, applying better activation function and modifying variable structure and so on.

The work presents a control system for energy savings using the recycling of steam in autoclaving process of porous blocks. This work describes a manufacturing process of porous. The control system is based on programmable controllers from Siemens series S7-300, then is applied to the TIA Portal software for the programming of these units. Lastly, the work comprises of process simulation, control system and its subsequent visualization.

Resumen
The aim of this thesis is to create a custom application to simulate production lines. The first part explains the main reasons, benefits and current trends in the field of virtual commissioning and describes several simulation tools and engineering tools from Siemens. The second part is devoted to a detailed description of features, capabilities and application interface of the PLCSIM Advanced simulation tool. The third part is devoted to design and realization of the custom simulation application, which can be used for create conveyor lines and validate user PLC program in cooperation with PLCSIM Advanced tool. This simulator was created using Unity3D game engine and C# programming language. In the last part of the thesis, a simple simulation task is created in the simulator and is tested using PLC program and visualization created in the TIA Portal engineering framework.

Il tema, di grande respiro, prende come punto di partenza il concetto braudeliano di Mediterraneo. La sua visione di un mare chiuso come una opportunità geografica per una integrazione economica fra popolazioni diverse per religioni, linguaggi ed entità etniche e politiche continua a funzionare come modello per studi applicati ad un ampio raggio di contesti. L’obiettivo che si è posta la 50ª Settimana di studi è stato quello di andare oltre lo studio dei singoli sistemi visti in modo isolato per combinare diverse analisi di mari aperti e chiusi o aree costiere, allo scopo di comprendere il ruolo di integrazione giocato in Europa dalle connessioni marittime. Poiché nelle civiltà preindustriali il trasporto per via d’acqua era più facile di quello via terra, è sembrato giunto il momento di richiamare l’attenzione sul modo in cui queste reti di relazione operavano a livello europeo e con i partner commerciali asiatici e nordafricani. Il volume prende le mosse dalle grandi tradizioni di ricerca su base regionale o tematica, che però sono state raramente integrate su una più ampia scala continentale. Immanuel Wallerstein ha elaborato il concetto braudeliano concettualizzandone le dimensioni interculturali e transnazionali e il ruolo nel sistema di divisione del lavoro. Egli lo chiamò un “sistema mondo”, non perché coinvolgesse il mondo intero, ma perché è più vasto di qualunque unità politica giuridicamente definita. E si tratta di una “economia mondo” perché il legame di base tra le varie parti del sistema è economico. I vari aspetti e le tradizioni regionali di ricerca sono stati collegati tra loro in un approccio coerente che si posto l'obiettivo di valutare: - Sulla base di quali elementi geografici, nautici, tecnici, economici, giuridici, sociali e culturali siano emerse le varie reti regionali, e come funzionavano, - Il carattere e il ruolo dei porti marittimi come punti nodali delle rotte marine e del loro hinterland, attraverso fiumi, canali e strade, - I legami commerciali e personali tra mercanti e armatori in vari porti, - In quale modo le reti regionali si collegavano tra di loro e come, nel corso del tempo, finirono per integrarsi in unità più ampie, - In quale modo le reti private, inizialmente costituite da organizzazioni di mercanti e navigatori, finirono per trattare con le autorità locali e, una volta cresciute, con gli stati e gli imperi, per proteggere i propri interessi

Il libro a più voci raccoglie contributi originali di autori, attori e registi e riflette sull’esperienza collettiva che ha portato ad Officina, spazio nodale per la creatività giovanile, un programma articolato in diverse attività, per ragionare sulla pluralità dei punti di vista, sulle aree di intervento e sugli obiettivi intorno ai quali si sviluppano le possibilità del linguaggio teatrale oggi. Scrivo perché ci se ne ricordi»: così Giorgio Bassani a chi gli chiedeva notizie sull’origine della sua scrittura. Guidata da queste parole Anna Dolfi ha costruito un tessuto di suggestioni che hanno spinto studiosi italiani e stranieri e persino alcuni protagonisti a riflettere su narratori, poeti, saggisti, storici, filosofi, editori, artisti, che dalla storia di una difficile appartenenza sono stati indotti a una sorta di fatale, testimoniale dovere morale. Il primo di due volumi dedicati all'ermetismo e Firenze editi da Firenze University Press (il secondo dal titolo Luzi, Bigongiari, Parronchi, Bodini, Sereni è acquistabile separatamente). Tra il 1930 e il 1945 un gruppo di giovani dette vita, a Firenze, a una delle più felici stagioni letterarie del nostro Novecento, nota come ermetismo fiorentino (o ermetismo tout court). Gran parte dei partecipanti si riconobbe non solo in una dizione comune, marcata da un immaginario e da una sintassi condivisi, ma nel silenzioso dissenso dalla retorica del regime, alla quale venivano contrapposti la radicalità dell’istanza etica e il legame profondo con le radici giudaico-cristiane, romanze, romantico simboliste della civiltà europea. A cento anni dalla nascita dei suoi protagonisti ancora ci si chiede cosa sia stato l’ermetismo, come sia nato, cosa l’abbia contraddistinto, quali segni abbia subìto e lasciato. Cercare come si sia modificato, perché sia stato circondato da passione, pregiudizi e avversione (come fanno i due imprescindibili volumi che raccolgono gli atti di un memorabile convegno nel quale Anna Dolfi ha coinvolto studiosi provenienti da ogni parte del mondo), porta non solo a tracciare un quadro/ritratto degli autori dell’ermetismo, dei loro estimatori e/o detrattori, ma a delimitare le costanti e i confini di un complesso capitolo della storia italiana iniziata con il Fascismo e conclusa, di recente, con la caduta delle ideologie. Les technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) jouent aujourd’hui un rôle de plus en plus central dans les programmes de développement. En 2015, l’organe des Nations Unies chargé des questions de développement et du commerce international, la CNUCED, a rendu public son rapport sur le « développement numérique » et demandé de positionner les TIC au cœur des nouveaux objectifs du développement (UNCTAD 2015). Le positionnement central des TIC dans les programmes internationaux de développement post-2015 est réaffirmé la même année, lors de la définition des « Principes pour le développement numérique » par un groupe d’acteurs issus d’organisations internationales et non gouvernementales. En 2016, le rapport annuel de la Banque mondiale sur le développement dans le monde s’intitule Les Dividendes du numérique et vient confirmer le rôle majeur assigné aux technologies numériques comme levier de développement (World Bank, 2016). Les programmes de santé par téléphone portable – appelés mSanté ou mHealth – sont une forme d’expérimentation de ce développement numérique. À partir de l’exemple d’un dispositif de suivi maternel par téléphone portable déployé au Ghana et en Inde, ce chapitre propose d’explorer un nouveau modèle qui lie le développement économique et social avec l’expansion du téléphone portable et de ses produits. Le recours aux technologies mobiles a introduit dans ces nouveaux programmes de développement des acteurs autrefois étrangers à ce champ et issus en majorité du secteur privé des TIC. Les alliances constituées pour ces programmes se caractérisent par une présence hégémonique d’acteurs privés du Nord, qui financent et déploient des outils techniques en s’appuyant, pour leur mise en œuvre au niveau communautaire, sur les fonctionnaires des services de santé du Sud. La question des rapports Nord-Sud dans les programmes de développement se voit réactualisée à travers ces coopérations technologiques particulières. Ces programmes globaux, encore peu étudiés, constituent une clé de reconfiguration des programmes de développement. En décryptant les inégalités Nord-Sud que ces nouvelles collaborations technologiques impliquent, ce chapitre identifie les logiques hégémoniques qui portent la mSanté.

O objetivo do texto, mediante a metodologia do Relato de Experiência, é narrar a luta por Políticas Públicas acerca do tema Transtornos Mentais, em específico, o Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA), através da trajetória da professora Ana Floripes Berbert Gentilin, de Cianorte-PR. Foi por meio da busca de conhecimento científico e intervenção, in loco, que foi possível contribuir com a melhoria dos resultados das práticas pedagógicas referentes aos processos ensino e aprendizagem no Colégio Estadual Igléa Grollmann. O relato apresenta ainda sua luta diária com enfoque nas causas sociais junto aos estudantes e famílias no início dos anos 90, as tentativas frustradas de angariar apoio junto aos poderes Legislativo e Executivo no ano 2012 e que passou a ter uma outra perspectiva quando houve o envolvimento direto do Ministério Público e com pequenos espaços que conquistou na mídia no ano de 2013, seu envolvimento no cenário político em 2020. Em seguida, com a publicação de textos no Portal BN Bisbi Notícias, finalmente a Cidade passou a ser mobilizada para o assunto em questão. Com a troca de comando dos poderes Executivo e Legislativo, no ano de 2021, no dia 01/02, foi protocolada pelo vereador Vantuir Carlos da Silva - Tuika, a indicação nº 144/2021, sugerindo ao Executivo a criação de um Centro de Referência em TEA. Após, foi construído um protocolo em conjunto com os poderes legislativo e executivo com sequência de ações a serem realizadas a curto, médio e longo prazo a fim da concretização da indicação mencionada.

This paper describes the development of a proof-of-concept application, which can be used to train people in the field of programmable logic controller (PLC) and robot programming. This concept leads to a better understanding, what kind of infrastructure and software packages can be combined, to not only have a visual representation of an industrial like scenario, but also the possibility to use commonly established programming environments such as TIA Portal, to set up a PLC program. In addi-tion, it provides insights on how OPC UA can be used and is suitable for controlling a typical six-axis industrial robot with the help of a PLC.

Abstract Following the Industry 4.0 paradigm with the rise of smart factories, there is a growing need in exploring digital manufacturing tools compatible with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) functionalities. This paper discusses the concept of Virtual Commissioning (VC) including applications in present and near-future advanced automation and production. Specifically, global trends towards Industry 4.0 and virtual manufacturing processes are explored in addition to how and why these emerging technologies could be applied. Furthermore, the advantages of VC processes are contrasted to Traditional Physical Commissioning (TPC) to highlight the evolution of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and the optimization of manufacturing processes since the turn of the century. This research aims to use state-of-the-art PLM software to replicate a physical prototype in near-perfect functionality to demonstrate the effectiveness of VC in an industrial setting. Developing a methodology for this research, the analysis is followed by a case study involving a Mini Festo Pick-and-Place (P&P) unit simulated in Siemens Tecnomatix Process Simulate and controlled via ladder logic executed in Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal. As expected, the results of this case study validate the potential for optimized contemporary manufacturing solutions in which higher-quality goods are reliably produced with minimal delays at all-time low principal investments through the use of VC tools.

Resumen
Auf der Basis eines modellbasierten Entwurfs mit MATLAB/Simulink® wird der Entwurf für einen Mischprozess einer Mischstation vorgenommen. Durch den Einsatz der Toolbox PLC Coder™ von Mathworks® kann dieser Entwurf ohne jegliche Änderungen für aktuell 12 Automatisierungssysteme verschiedener Hersteller verwendet werden, so dass dies als ein zielsystemunabhängiger Entwurf angesehen werden kann. Der Vorteil besteht darin, dass nicht wie bisher ein klassischer Entwurf des Systems entsprechend IEC 61131 Teil 3 mit einer entsprechenden hersteller- bzw. systemspezifischen Entwicklungsumgebung durchgeführt wird, sondern ein hersteller- und systemunabhängiger Entwurf mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Werkzeugen von Simulink vorgenommen werden kann. Mit der verwendeten Toolbox PLC Coder™ für MATLAB/ Simulink® wird strukturierter Text nach IEC 61131 Teil 3 für das jeweilige Automatisierungssystem automatisch generiert. Im vorliegenden Fall wird als Automatisierungssystem eine SIMATIC ET 200SP Open Controller mit entsprechenden Erweiterungsmodulen (digitale und analoge Ein- und Ausgänge usw.) und das TIA Portal in der Version 15.1 der Fa. Siemens eingesetzt. Für den Mischprozess, eine Mischstation, werden Flüssigkeiten aus drei verschiedenen Behältern in verschiedenen vorgegebenen Mischverhältnissen und Mengen dosiert und in einen Mischbehälter ge-leitet. Hierfür wird der modellbasierte Entwurf primär mittels endlicher Zustandsautomaten mit einer unterlagerten Durchflussmengenregelung in insgesamt neun Subsystemen vorgenommen. Um eine möglichst hohe Genauigkeit des Mischproduktes zu erzielen, wird hierbei die Dosierung der verschie-denen Flüssigkeiten volumengesteuert vorgenommen. Für den vollständigen modellbasierten Entwurf der Automatisierung der Mischstation, dessen Visua-lisierung sowie der Modellierung des HMI mittels Apps des App Designers von MATLAB/ Simulink® wird ein vollständiger Model in the Loop (MIL)-Test in Realzeit zur Verifikation des Gesamtsystems durchgeführt, der hier den Schwerpunkt darstellt. Durch den auf einem deutlich höheren Abstraktionsniveau durchgeführten modellbasierten Entwurf und den MIL-Test werden die Implementierungs- und Inbetriebnahmephase minimal. Abschließend werden die wesentlichen Vorteile des modellbasierten Entwurfs behandelt und ein Aus-blick gegeben.

Resumen
The application of portable XRF spectrometry (pXRF) for determining concentrations of uranium (U), thorium (Th) and potassium (K) was evaluated using a combination of 12 Certified Reference Materials, 17 Standard Reference Materials, and 25 rock samples collected from areas of known U occurrences or mineralization. Samples were analysed by pXRF in Soil, Mining Cu/Zn and Mining Ta/Hf modes. Resulting pXRF data were compared to published recommended values, obtained by total or near total digestion methods with ICP-MS and ICP-OES analysis. Results for pXRF show a linear relationship, for thorium, potassium, and uranium (<5000 ppm U) as compared to the recommended concentrations. However, above 5000 ppm U, pXRF results show an exponential relationship with under reporting of pXRF concentrations compared to recommended values. Accuracy of the data can be improved by post-analysis correction using linear regression equations for potassium and thorium, and samples with <5000 ppm uranium; an exponential correction curve is required at >5000 ppm U. In addition, pXRF analyses of samples with high concentrations of uranium (e.g. >1 wt.% U) significantly over-estimated potassium contents as compared to the published values, indicating interference between the two elements not calibrated by the manufacturer software.
