&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <em>&nbsp; &nbsp; The aim of this paper is to introduce a new class of softly normal called softly pgD- normality by using pgD-open sets and obtained several properties of such a space. We discuss many properties of this new space and we give some properties that connect this new spaces with some other topological spaces, also we present some examples and counter examples that show the relationships between softly pgD- normal spaces and some other topological spaces, also we introduced the concept of pgD-normal, almost pgD-normal, quasi pgD-normal, mildly pgD

Stress in the interface of contacts was calculated applying finite element software/ABAQUS, with which the Ruiz fretting damage parameter was obtained and the location for crack formation was found. A new model for predicting fretting fatigue life has been presented based on friction work. The rationality and effectiveness of the model were validated according to the contrast of experiment life and predicting life. At last influence factor on fretting fatigue life of aerial aluminum alloy LY12CZ was investigated with the model. The results revealed that fretting fatigue life decreased monotono

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) often occurs in diabetes mellitus patients. PAD can be detected early by measuring the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). ABI measurement should be important for all DM clients and all clients at risk of DM but is often ignored, causing PAD. The purpose of this study was to determine the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) as a predictor of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) in patients with diabetes mellitus. The design of this study was descriptive with an observational study approach. The population in this study were all 113 diabetes mellitus clients in July 2024. The sampling

AbstractThe infrared spectra (4000-100 cm-1) of the α-form crystal ofglycine (NH3+ - CH2 - COO-) and of thirteen isotopic modifications comprising D, 13C, 15N, and 18O were measured at 80 and 290 K. Excellent resolution was reached at the low temperature. In the low temperature spectra the fine structure of the nearly degenerate NH3 and ND3 antisymmetric deformational modes and the CO2-torsional bands in the vicinity of 200 cm-1 for each of the isotopic molecules, which in the low-frequency region are strongly overlapped by a number of lattice modes, clearly showed up. In the existing research on prosthetic footplates, rehabilitation insoles, and robot feet, the cushioning parts are basically based on simple mechanisms and elastic pads. Most of them are unable to provide adequate impact resistance especially during contact with the ground. This paper developed a bioinspired heel pad by optimizing the inner structures inspired from human heel pad which has great cushioning performance. The distinct structures of the human heel pad were determined through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology and related literatures. Five-layer pads with and without inne

ABSTRACT The effect of hypothyroidism on potassium adaptation (shown by increased potassium secretion in response to potassium loading) and on the action of aldosterone on potassium secretion and sodium fluxes was examined in the rat distal colon. Potassium adaptation, particularly the response to an acute potassium load, was impaired by hypothyroidism which also considerably reduced the rise of transepithelial electrical potential difference (p.d.) of total and transcellular (active) lumen-to-plasma sodium fluxes and of potassium secretion normally produced by aldosterone. Résumé :
Recent comprehensive experimental data showcasing the force coefficients of commercial size tilting pad journal bearings has brought to rest the long standing issue on the adequacy of the [K,C,M] physical model to represent frequency independent bearing force coefficients, in particular viscous damping. Most experimental works test TPJBs with large preloads, operating over a large wide range of rotor speeds, and with null to beyond normal specific loads. Predictions from apparently simple fluid film bearing models stand poor against the test data which invariably signals to theory missing pivo

Résumé :
In continuously coupled blade structures, fretting fatigue and wear have to be considered as supposed failure modes at the contact surface of the shroud cover, which is subject to steady contact pressure from centrifugal force and the vibratory load of the blade. We did unique fretting tests that modeled the structure of the shroud cover, where the vibratory load is only carried by the contact friction force, i.e., a type of friction. What was investigated in this study are fretting fatigue strength, wear rate, and friction characteristics, such as friction coefficient and slip-range of 12%-Cr

Résumé :
In this study, effect of counterface roughness on dry sliding wear of polyoximethylene (POM) and polypropylene (PP) against stainless steel discs (HRC 52) is investigated. A pad on disc tribotester was used. Cylindrical surfaces of discs were used as wearing surfaces. Polymer specimens were produced as cylindrical pins. One of end faces of each pin was formed in the same radius of the discs. Normal force and sliding speed were constant. Roughness of the discs was produced by cylindrical grinding. Very low roughness values (mean of profile deviations Ra &amp;lt; 0.15 μm) were produced by using
