Résumé :
Introduction. Pleomorphic adenoma is known as the most common tumour in salivary glands that makes up 60-90% of all benign tumours of the salivary glands. The modern genetic tendency towards the diagnosis of salivary gland tumours is the study of the role of microRNA molecules, and miRNA-29a in the focus of the great researchers’ interest. It is expressed in 84 % of the pleomorphic adenomas of the salivary glands. Objectives. Determination of expression of miRNA-29a in tissues of pleomorphic adenomas of the large salivary glands that adjacent to the tumour of the tissue of the salivary gland,

Résumé :
Plexiform neurofibromas in major salivary glands are rarely described. In the literature, most reported tumours have been present in the parotid gland region. A three-year-old boy with a family history of neurofibromatosis presented with a rapidly growing left submandibular mass. The clinical diagnosis was that of a neurofibroma rather than a primary salivery gland tumour. Resection of the lesion revealed a plexiform neurofibroma involving the submandibular gland. Although these tumours have a neurogenic rather than a salivary gland origin, they must be considered in the differential diagnosis

Résumé :
Acinic cell carcinoma (ACC) is an uncommon and gradually developing tumour primarily found in the major salivary glands, most frequently originating in the parotid gland and less commonly in the submandibular and sublingual glands. ACC represents 3 to 4% of parotid gland tumours, 2 to 6% of all salivary gland tumours, and 10 to 17% of all malignant tumours in the salivary glands.

Parapharyngeal space tumours (PPS) are benign, uncommon located in the head and neck region. Pleomorphic adenoma the most prevalent type of salivary gland tumour can develop from the salivary glands or start in the deep lobe of the parotid gland and spread into PPS. A 59-year-old male presented with complaints of dysphagia, voice change and swelling in the soft palate. PPS tumour was detected with endoscopy, biopsy confirmed it as salivary gland tumour and PET-CT scan findings revealed a large hyper metabolic solid soft tissue density lesion in left parapharyngeal space with local extent. AbstractEpithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC) accounts for approximately one per cent of salivary gland tumours. This tumour is gaining wider recognition following inclusion into the WHO histological classification of salivary gland tumours in 1990. Salivary gland tumours characteristically present with an enlarging mass. We describe an unusual presentation of a salivary gland tumour with stenosis of the external ear canal in the absence of a palpable mass.
