Résumé :

Abstract This article draws attention to some seemingly insignificant details in Stanisław Lem's works that can be understood on a closer reading as traces of his youthful traumatic experience of World War II and the Holocaust. Lem rarely spoke directly about these experiences, but the few such statements he did make testify to the strong and deep trace that this experience left on him. This trace is most often manifested in the form of macabre scenes and motifs. The analysis of these scenes and an attempt at their interpretation is the main focus of this article.

Roger Caillois i – nieco później – Stanisław Lem dokonali dość szczegółowego rozróżnienia metod kreowania literackich światów, ze względu na ich gatunkowe zróżnicowanie. Inaczej konstruowane są zasady rządzące rzeczywistością w utworach kryminalnych, inaczej w literaturze grozy, inaczej w science fiction. The article analyses how Stanisław Lem’s writing is used in the doodle meant to honour the 60th anniversary of the publication of The Astronauts by this author (1951–2011). Nevertheless, it is the heroes of The Cyberiad that are employed in the game. Stanisław Lem był wielkim pisarzem, futurystą i krytykiem literackim, ale chińskie przekłady większości jego dzieł zostały wydane w Chinach dopiero z okazji setnej rocznicy urodzin autora w 2021 roku. Z tej przyczyny prowadzone w Chinach badania naukowe na temat Lema i jego twórczości są nieliczne. Wielu czytelników nie do końca rozumie też idee zawarte w książkach Stanisława Lema. Istnieje zatem potrzeba znalezienia odpowiednich metod analizy i badania twórczości pisarza. W niniejszym artykule wykazano, że perspektywa posthumanistyczna może dostarczyć wiarygodnego wzoru dla studiów nad Lemem.
