We examined the effect of a 25% blood volume expansion on the release of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) in conscious Wistar rats (13-15 wk old) injected 6 wk earlier with streptozotocin (55 mg/kg iv, diabetic) or saline (1 ml/kg iv, control). Abstract Current and prior relationship quality can have significant impacts on the mental and physical health of individuals with dementia (IWD) and their spousal caregivers (CGs). Yet, marital satisfaction is not often assessed.
