This paper presents the assessments concerning the vertical distribution, exposure, slope inclination and land relief of silver-fir localities. The current distribution of fir trees suggest that in the past, Abies alba was widespread in the Sudety Mts. at the altitude range 350-800 m. At altitudes of up to 800 m, the number of localities in each zone is often proportional to the total forest area in the zone. Above 800 m, fir trees are now very rare. Three new sites of this species have been found in the Bieszczady National Park at an altitude of 800-880 m. <em>U. florida</em> grows on the bark of <em>Fagus sylvatica, Populus tremula</em> and <em>Betula</em> sp. A total of 288 healthy Zhongshan shelducks with an average initial weight of 1790.27 ± 0.14 kg were randomly divided into four groups through a 56 d experiment period and were fed a basal diet supplemented with 0 (CON), 400, 800, and 1600 mg/kg MHTs, respectively.
