Finer and uniform nanofibers were obtained from disc and coil electrospinng, when compared to those of conventional needle electrospinning. The finest nanofibers were 217±86 nm and 234±82 nm in diameter from disc and coil electrospinning respectively, while fibers from needle electrospinning was 296±36 nm when the applied voltage was 12kV.
