It is proved in this paper t that the equation $z^\xi=x^\mu+y^\nu$ has no solution in relatively prime positive integers $x, y, z,$ with $\xi, \mu, \nu$ odd primes at least $3.$  This is equivalent to Fermat\rq{}s Last Theorem which is stated as follows: If $x.y, z$ are  positive integers, and $\pi$ is an odd prime satisfying $z^\pi=x^\pi+y^\pi,$ then  $x, y, z$ are not relatively prime.

In the present work we report the discovery of new families of solitary waves in a 1:N (N>1) granular dimers (a heavy bead followed and preceded by N light beads) wherein the Hertzian interaction law governs the interaction between spherical beads. The cross-correlation function between the pump and Stokes intensities in stimulated Raman scattering has been measured. It has previously been conjectured 1 and theoretically shown2 that the Stokes light generated in the presence of a multimode or broadband pump is generated with mode amplitudes and phases in perfect correlation with those of the pump. We present here experimental evidence of such cross correlations for scattering in hydrogen gas. The measurement technique used is the same as that previously used for measuring the intensity autocorrelation function of a multimode dye laser.3
