Bença é o título da encenação que fecha um ciclo de criação e abre novos caminhos para a teatralidade do Bando de Teatro Olodum. Foi em torno do processo de criação desse espetáculo, desenvolvido durante o ano de 2010, que lancei meus olhares. É sobre esse tempo – aquele do Bando e o meu próprio diante deste primeiro – que me debruço aqui. Invisto, nesse estudo, em um sistema de articulações, análises e discussões à luz de uma abordagem não-cartesiana acerca do processo citado. Teorizo em um diálogo permanente com a peculiaridade da interface Artes-Humanidades: registrei fatos, identifiquei fenômenos cênicos e socioculturais, entrecruzei epistemologias e, principalmente, entrei numa dinâmica com o humano, com os sujeitos agentes de Bença e com aquilo que é fruto do seu labor, a sua arte. Assim, nesta dissertação, parto da perspectiva de transculturalidade decorrente do reconhecimento das manifestações de hibridez cultural oriundas da brasilidade e que funda o que entendo por “estética transcultural” na cena do Bando. Dedico-me, ainda, à corporalidade e à corporeidade dos atores de Bença, em especial no que tange ao trânsito do corpo desses sujeitos entre o corpo cotidiano e o corpo expressivo da cena, o que chamo de “estado de benção”. Arrolados esses traços, alicerces das articulações nesse processo de criação, vislumbro, por fim, a encenação em si, o estabelecer das situações cênicas e, pelo que elas me oferecem aos sentidos todos, confirmo a inscrição do Bando na era das “teatralidades híbridas contemporâneas”. Constato, em última análise, que Bença desencadeou um movimento de descoberta de uma nova teatralidade e, nesse caminho, de renovação cênico-paradigmática da poética do Bando de Teatro Olodum. A partir dessa rede de articulações e constatações amplio minhas reflexões em torno das novas teatralidades e do campo de hibridez que as caracteriza.

A presente pesquisa analisa a formação dos camponeses da Liga Camponesa do Engenho Galiléia, entre 1960 e 1964, tomando por base a recepção desses camponeses dos conteúdos presentes na Cartilha do Camponês e no documento “Bença, Mãe!” e sua relação com a ação político-pedagógica de Francisco Julião. A escolha do tema se deu pela constatação de que ainda dispomos de poucas pesquisas sobre as Ligas Camponesas enquanto lugar de educação, partindo da análise dos textos educativos escritos por Francisco Julião e da recepção dos conteúdos desses textos por camponeses que participaram diretamente das lutas e mobilizações do movimento. A Cartilha do Camponês e o documento “Bença, Mãe!” foram os textos educativos selecionados para a análise, por serem, respectivamente, o primeiro e o último escritos nos anos entre 1960 e 1964, quando as Ligas passavam por mudanças políticas e ideológicas que influenciavam os seus conteúdos formativos. A recepção dos referidos textos foi analisada a partir dos depoimentos de ex-integrantes da Liga Camponesa do Engenho Galiléia, que, por ter sido o primeiro núcleo das Ligas, teve uma grande importância política ao longo de toda a trajetória do movimento. A pesquisa, ao analisar o aspecto educativo das Ligas Camponesas, provoca também uma discussão sobre o conceito de educação, afastando-se da tendência de se entendê-la como sinônimo de escola e procurando compreender a história da educação para além da história da educação escolar. Desta forma, busca-se discutir a relação entre educação e movimentos sociais, educação não formal e educação popular. Sendo uma pesquisa historiográfica, os procedimentos metodológicos incluíram análise documental e entrevistas livres, devidamente transcritas, tendo a Análise de Conteúdo como método para identificar, tanto nos documentos quanto nas entrevistas, as palavras, ideias e temas centrais para o objetivo do trabalho.
This present research analyses the formation of Galiléia Mill Peasant League, between 1960 and 1964 on the basis of the reception, by these peasants, of Cartilha do Camponês contents and of the document “Bença, Mãe!” and their relation to Francisco Julião’s politicalpedagogical action. The choice of the subject is due to the finding that we still don’t have much research on Peasant Leagues as a place of education, from the analysis of educational texts written by Francisco Julião and the reception of these texts’ contents by the peasants who took part directly in the fights and mobilizations of the movement. Cartilha do Camponês and the document “Bença, Mãe!” were the educational texts selected for the analysis once they are respectively the first and the last writings in the years between 1960 and 1964, when the Leagues went through both political and ideological changes that influenced their formative contents. The reception of referred texts was analyzed from testimonials of Liga Camponesa do Engenho Galiléia former members, which had a tremendous political importance over the history of the movement, since it was the first nucleus of the Leagues. By analyzing the educational aspect of Ligas Camponesas, the research also proposes a discussion on the concept of education, diverging from the trend of understanding it as a synonym of school and trying to understand history of education apart from history of school education. So this study tries to discuss the relation between education and social movements, non-formal education and popular education. And because it is a historiographical research, methodological procedures have included documentary analysis, free interviews, duly transcribed, having Content Analysis as method in order to verify, both in documents and interviews, words, ideas and key issues for the objective of the study.

This thesis presentes a study about the character Dona Benta as a Reading mediator in Dom Quixote das Crianças and in Geografia de Dona Benta. At the first one it seems to be there a reading project thought by Monteiro Lobato and executed by the character of the grandmother; at the second, she is responsible for mediating the knowledge through the resource of a trip. To execute this work it was necessary an investigation about how the action of the grandmother mediator happens in all Lobato’s books for children in order to distinguish her actions in these two texts and from this investigation it was concluded it happens in two ways: Dona Benta-grandmother-mediator “familiar” with reading, and Dona Benta grandmother-teacher-mediator who “institutionalizes” the knowledgement. At this work we also tried to understand how the ilustrations of her character, designed by a variety of ilustrators in many different editions, show an evolution in her moments of reading mediation. In addittion, we also tried to understand how it might have contributed to reinforce this aspect in young readers. Finally, it was still possible to discuss in this thesis how Dona Benta can be an efficient example of Reading mediator in new media and technologies even nowadays.
Esta tese apresenta um estudo sobre a personagem Dona Benta como mediadora de leitura em Dom Quixote das Crianças e em Geografia de Dona Benta. Na primeira obra parece haver um projeto de leitura pensado por parte de Monteiro Lobato e executado pela personagem-avó; na segunda, ela é a responsável por mediar o conhecimento a partir do recurso da viagem. Para executar tal tarefa foi necessária uma investigação de como se realiza a ação mediadora da avó em todas as obras infantis de Lobato para distinguir sua atuação nestas duas obras e chegou-se ao resultado de que ela ocorre sob duas formas a saber: Dona Benta-avó-mediadora “familiar” de leitura, e Dona Benta avó-professora-mediadora “institucional” do conhecimento. Procurou-se, também, entender como as imagens dela, executadas pelos mais diversos ilustradores, ao longo das muitas edições, apontam para uma evolução na construção dessa personagem e como algumas dessas imagens, em momentos de mediação de leitura, podem ter contribuído para firmar essa marca-característica nos pequenos leitores. Finalmente, ainda foi possível discutir na tese como Dona Benta pode ser, nos dias atuais, exemplo eficaz de mediadora de leitura, mesmo em tempos de novas mídias e novas tecnologias.

En 1924-1925, en Russie, de nombreux écrivains s'engagent dans le cinéma, deviennent scénaristes, membres appointés des studios, trouvent là un second métier. Certains cherchent à créer un genre nouveau : le kinoroman. Babel est de ceux-là et son scénario "l'Ascension de Benia Krik", commandé en 1925 par les studios de Moscou, est l'illustration de cette tentative. Inspirée des "Contes d'Odessa", l'œuvre est écrite pour Eisenstein. Le "cinéroman" reprend les thèmes majeurs de l'univers babélien : conflit père/fils, homme/femme, tradition/novation, révolte individuelle/organisée. . . Il présente également les qualités formelles qui imposèrent la prose de l'auteur de "Cavalerie rouge" comme l'une des premières de son temps et firent dire à Eisenstein qu'"un récit de Babel, c'est déjà 75% du matériau dont un cinéaste a besoin". Des similitudes frappantes avec l'écriture du réalisateur de "La Grève" et du "Cuirassé Potemkine" - montage des attractions, images choc, construction parodique des personnages - font de ce scénario un terrain d'observation privilégié des affinités souvent constatées mais peu étudiées entre Babel et Eisenstein. En intégrant délibérément à son cinétexte les procédés techniques du 7e art (angles de vision insolites, gros plans, intertitres) l'auteur achève de donner au genre hybride du kinoroman un véritable statut. Les difficultés de la genèse et du tournage du scénario reflètent les contraintes du partzakaz sous la NEP. Ce sont elles qui, en dernière analyse, sont responsables de la faillite du projet de Babel et d'Eisenstein, faillite qui préfigure celle du "Pré de Béjine" dans les années trente, sous Staline
In 1924-1925, in Russia, a large number of writers began working for the cinema, became script-writers, appointed members of movie studios, and thus found a second occupation. Some of them tried to start a new genre : kinoroman. Babel is one of these and his screenplay "The Career of Benia Krik", commissioned in 1925 by the Moscow studios, illustrated this attempt. Inspired by the "Odessa Tales", the work is written for Eisenstein, director at the same studios. Kinoroman uses the main themes of Babel's universe : conflict between father/son, man/woman, tradition/innovation, individual revolt/collective one. . . It also has the formal features - fragmented plot, prominence of the rhythm, of the pictures - that impressed the prose of the writer of the "Red Cavalry" as one of the best of its time and led Eisenstein to comment that "a story by Babel, it is already 75% of the material a film maker needs ". Striking similitude with the writing of the film-director of "The Strike" and "The Battleship Potemkin" - montage of attractions, shock-images, parodical characters - make this film script a particularly useful field of observation of the affinities, often established but rarely studied, between Babel and Eisenstein. By deliberately integrating in his cinetext the technical methods of the 7e Art (including unwonted angles of shots, close-ups, intertitles), the author finishes to give the kinoroman hybrid genre a genuine status. The difficulties during the genesis and the shooting of the scenario reflect the constraints of the partzakaz during the NEP. It is those, finally, which are responsible for the failure of Babel's and Eisenstein's project, failure which prefigures that of "Bezhin Meadow" in the thirties, under Stalin

O presente trabalho estuda os rejeitados de carvão da Bacia Carbonífera de Moatize, concretamente na mina de Benga, assim sendo o trabalho faz o estudo da petrografia e a respetiva caracterização dos rejeitados de carvão com vista a sua beneficiação. Para realização deste trabalho foi usada uma amostra de rejeitados grosseiros de carvão, na qual foram selecionados fragmentos com densidades diversas, determinadas usando a balança de Jolly. A caracterização petrográfica dos rejeitados de carvão foi realizada através da análise quantitativa em grupos de macerais e da matéria mineral, assim como do seu modo de ocorrência. Determinou-se, ainda, o rendimento em cinzas. A análise estatística destes dados permitiu a caracterização destes rejeitados com vista à sua beneficiação. Neste estudo, os teores de cinzas são elevados cerca de 46,67 % a 88,6%, confirmando assim que se trata de um rejeitado, sendo o processo de obtenção do teor em MO por via indireta, através da densidade, adequado. A MM desta amostra está sobretudo dispersa na MO, nomeadamente os carbonatos e os minerais de argila. A MM que pode ser facilmente separada da matéria MO através da redução de calibre. Considerando que se pretende um reaproveitamento dos rejeitados grosseiros, será necessário obter um produto de qualidade inferior eventualmente para uso doméstico.
The present work studies the rejected materials from the tailings from the Moatize Coal Basin, specifically in the Benga Mine, for beneficiation purposes. For this work were one coarse reject sample collected in a tailing, from which fragments with different densities were selected, performed using a Jolly balance. The petrographic characterization of the coal rejects was undertaken trough a quantitative analysis in maceral groups and the mineral matter and its occurrence mode. It was also carried out the ash yield. The statistical treatment of the data permitted the mining rejects characterization for their beneficiation. In this study, the ash contents are raised from 46.67% to 88.6%, thus confirming that this is a rejection product, and the process of obtaining the MO content indirectly through density is adequate. The MM of this sample is mainly dispersed in OM, namely carbonates and clay minerals. The MM which can be easily separated from the MO by the reduction of size. Considering the reuse of the rejected coarse, it will be necessary to obtain a benefited product of lower quality for domestic use.

In my diplomas´s thesis I deal with a violin creation of Benda family. In the first charter I discuss about the work of Czech musicians and composers abroad - in Germany,Italy, Poland and Russia. The second charter is called " Frantisek Benda". This chapter testifies abou life and work of this man.Then I desribe the life and life of Antonín Benda, František´s brother.The fifth chapter deals with the important moments in the life of the brothers Josef and Jan Jiří Benda and I also remind their violin making. After a brief introduction to the family Benda I approache to the crucial part of that from the sixth chapter I analyze the characteristics of musical expression siblings Benda. First, I pursue four violin sonatas of František Benda. Then I analyze two sonatas of Frantisek´s brother, Jiří Antonín Benda. The eight chapter deals with the Violin Concerto inG major, which was composed by Jan Jiří Benda. Characteristic of musical speech by František, Jiří Antonín and Jan Jiří Benda is the subjectof the last charter of this work. In the conclusion I argue that musical life in this country, the Czech Republic, or currently not forget the musical legacy Benda family.

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Managing the diverse production and support teams on mining operations in Southern Africa is proving to be problematic and challenging. Many mines are facing strikes, “go-slows” and destructive conflict related to diversity issues. The objective of this case study was to evaluate the apparent successful diversity management practices employed at Benga Mine (an MCC Group mine) in Mozambique. The study aimed to determine the success of the tactics employed by the management team and whether successful tactics can be utilised at other mines operating within the MCC Group. The case study evaluated seven practical diversity management tactics employed by the management of the mine as conceptual method. The seven tactics were verified through a literature review and an eighth “other” category was provided for additional tactics that the research may reveal. The research revealed that the diversity management tactics at Benga Mine have some strengths and some weaknesses. The management team focused on translation of communication to the primary spoken languages on the mine. This enabled good communication flow, but further improvements can be made. Most employees identify with the Benga Mine and feel a sense of common purpose. The management team identified nutrition as a critical diversity management issue. This was an accurate observation as the research revealed that the availability and quality of food is of fundamental importance to them. Further improvement, such as catering for vegetarians, can be made to the food offerings. Strong relationships exist on the mine and this is the area where the Benga Mine management team excel. Employees feel that issues on importance can be addressed through various communication platforms and that their concerns are being taken seriously. Employees believe that all groups have the opportunity to raise issues and that the management team evaluate their concerns with compassion and care. The sound communication system employed at Benga Mine builds relationships and promotes a culture where employees can engage with management. The management of employment equity policies poses a significant challenge to the mine. The expats manage and pose the bulk of technical and operational expertise, resulting in significant risk to the sustainability of the business since the work permit quota system requires knowledge transfer to Mozambique citizens. Additionally, the work environment is not conducive to gender equality and female employees feel marginalised. An organisational culture conducive to managing and valuing the contribution and presence of all groups has been created at the mine. Further improvement can be made by terminating tokens of separations such as different uniforms for managers and operational employees. No significant new or additional diversity management factors were identified during the research. Benga Mine’s diversity management tactics are effective, but improvements can easily be achieved by focusing on the recommendations of this case study. The recommendations include improvements to translation of management instructions, clarification of employment equity obligations and a higher degree of sensitivity to the needs of female employees.

Sem a pretensão de esgotar ou esmiuçar o assunto, alguns temas são suscitados. Os ingredientes utilizados, alterados com o passar do tempo e que podem denotar transformações no gosto e nos padrões dietéticos. As formas de preparo e utensílios envolvidos nesse processo, que constituem o saber fazer culinário, muitas vezes transmitido oral ou empiricamente, e que é compilado e codificado em livros de receitas. As transformações tecnológicas introduziram na cozinha, um aparato material que transformou a língua das receitas em seus modos e tempos. Por fim, as concepções médicas vigentes e a construção do gosto ajudam a determinar as escolhas. Os padrões médicos que recomendavam dietas diárias de 3.500 calorias somadas à diversificação alimentar e o refinamento do gosto da dona-de-casa, a grande responsável pelo sucesso dos preparados, podem ser notados no livro de receitas estudado. Analisá-lo como fonte de pesquisa, acreditando-se que é possível, por meio de sua estrutura, função e conteúdo, identificar hábitos e práticas que nos auxiliem a compreender a cozinha brasileira desde os anos de 1940 até a atualidade é o objetivo desta dissertação de mestrado.
This dissertation uses a cookbook of a large dissemination - Dona Benta: Eating Well - (1940-2003) - as a source for studies in the history of food. Without the pretense of ran out of ideas or make a strict inquiry into the matter, some issues are studied. The ingredients used, modified over time and that may denote changes in taste and dietary patterns. The preparation forms and equipment involved in this process, and the know how, often transmitted orally or empirically, is compiled and codified in recipes books. The technological changes introduced in the kitchen, and the material goods transformed the language of their ways and times. Finally, the current medical concepts and construction of taste help to determine the choices. The diet recommendation of 3.500 calories daily added to food diversification and refinement of the taste of the owner-to-house, responsible for the great success of the preparations, may be noted in the book of recipes studied. Consider it as a source of research, believing that it is possible, by its structure, function and content, identify patterns and practices that help us to understand the Brazilian cuisine since the years of 1940 to the present is the goal of this Masters dissertation.

Vuodesta 2012 lähtien aluekehitysyhtiö Tirta Wahana Bali Internasional (TWBI) on valmistellut Indonesian Balilla sijaitsevaan Benoa-lahteen kohdistuvaa mittavaa matkailukehityshanketta, jossa aikaisemmin mangrovemetsiensä vuoksi suojeltu lahti muutettaisiin luksusmatkailukohteeksi keinotekoisten saarten avulla. Projektisuunnitelma on herättänyt paikallisväestön keskuudessa paljon vastustusta, ja tuhannet balilaiset ovat järjestäytyneet säännöllisiin mielenosoituksiin forBALI-aktivistiliittouman organisoimana. Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää mistä Benoa-lahden matkailukehityskonfliktissa on kyse, ja miten paikallinen vastarinta esittää etnisin symbolein kyllästettyä viestiään osana konfliktia. Käsittelen aihettani poliittisen ekologian näkökulmasta asettaen valtasuhteiden kriittisen tarkastelun analyysini keskiöön. Etnografisen tutkielmani ensisijainen aineisto koostuu Balilla keväällä 2017 tehdystä seitsemästä teemahaastatteluista ja osallistuvasta havainnoinnista, mitä täydennän erilaisilla Internet-aineistoilla. Konfliktin pääasiallisten osapuolten (TWBI-yhtiön, Indonesian hallituksen ja balilaisten protestoijien) argumentaatio rakentuu suureksi osaksi globaalin kestävyysdiskurssin kautta. Osapuolten epätasa-arvoiset valtasuhteet tulevat näkyville tavoissa, joilla ne pyrkivät vaikuttamaan viralliseen päätöksentekoon. Indonesian hallinto ja TWBI-yhtiö pyrkivät vaikuttamaan lähinnä poliittisen järjestelmän ja sen sisäisten suhteiden välityksellä. Tämän järjestelmän ylläpito mahdollistuu paikallisväestöön kohdistuvan kontrollin kautta, ja siksi altavastaajina toimivat balilaiset joutuvat etsimään vaihtoehtoisia viestin esilletuontitapoja. ForBALI luo ainutlaatuista kulttuurilähtöistä vaikuttamisen tapaa, joka ilmenee sekä mielenosoituksissa että sosiaalisen median käytössä, ja osaksi protestointia nostetut etniset symbolit ovat instrumentaalisia välineitä liittouman viestin toimittamisessa, koska ne sitovat yhteen jaettuja merkityksiä ja vetoavat balilaisten moniaistilliseen rituaaliseen tapaan jakaa kulttuurista tietoa. Etniset symbolit näyttäytyvät protesteissa erityisesti performanssien, visuaalisen taiteen ja kolonialististen symbolien muodossa, ja balilaisessa kulttuurissa tärkeä hyvän ja pahan kahtiajako toimii perustana niiden käytölle. Balilaiset esittävät itsensä ikään kuin ideaalisen paikallisidentiteetin kautta; jonakin jota kohti pitäisi pyrkiä, ja ForBALI rakentaa tätä ideaalista paikallisidentiteettiä kohti ympäristöystävällisempää ja poliittisesti aktiivisempaa suuntaa. Since 2012 a property development and management company Tirta Wahana Bali Internasional (TWBI) has been preparing a 3-billion-dollar travel development project in Benoa Bay, Bali, Indonesia. The project would reclaim a former nature conservation area in Benoa Bay into a mass tourism destination with new artificial islands. Local protests against the plan have been wide, and thousands of people have been participating in monthly demonstrations organized by forBALI activist alliance. The purpose of this research is to find out what the Benoa Bay travel development conflict is all about, and how the local resistance presents and performs its message as a part of the conflict. Using the viewpoint of political ecology I am placing the critical examination of power relations at the center of my analysis. As an ethnographic study, this research is carried out through qualitative methods. My main research data consists of seven conversational interviews and participant observation. I support this sensory ethnographic data with Internet materials, such as news articles, social media, web sites and photography. The argumentation of the main participants in the conflict (TWBI, Indonesian government, Balinese protestors) is mainly built through the global sustainability discourse. The unequal power relations of the participants are shown in the ways they are trying to influence the political decision making. TWBI together with Indonesian politicians aim to operate inside the political system through mutual relations. The maintenance of this system is made possible by the control that is directed to Balinese people and for that reason the Balinese are forced to seek alternative ways to presenting their message. ForBALI is producing a unique culturally based way of influencing which is carried out in demonstrations and social media. Ethnic symbols are instrumental tools in sending the message. In the demonstrations ethnic symbols are used especially in the forms of different kind of performances, visual art and colonial representations. The important dichotomy of good and evil that exists in Balinese culture is represented through these symbols, and the Balinese protestors use this dichotomy to create an ideal of local identity through which they build Balinese identity towards more environmental friendly and politically active direction. Recent tourism development has led to a controversial situation where tourists are allured to Bali through island’s unique culture but most of the benefits brought by tourism are going to the multinational capitalistic companies instead of the local communities. The conflict of Benoa Bay points out the local dissatisfaction towards the direction of the development. Regarding the principles of sustainable tourism development, the local communities’ needs should be better addressed

Pedagogisk grundsyn, barns rörelser och kognitiva lärande.   Syftet med studien är att synliggöra fem yrkesverksamma förskollärares inställning till barns rörelsebehov, hur de uppmärksammar betydelsen av barns rörelseaktiviteter för deras kognitiva lärande och hur de arbetar med barns rörelsebehov utomhus. Utifrån syftet har vi formulerat följande frågeställningar:   Vad är förskollärarnas inställning till barns rörelsebehov? Vilka kopplingar ser förskollärarna mellan barns rörelseaktiviteter och barns kognitiva lärande? Hur arbetar förskollärarna med barns rörelsebehov utomhus?   Studien är genomförd med semistrukturerade djupintervjuer med yrkesverksamma förskollärare utifrån en kvalitativ forskningsmetod som ligger nära en fenomenografisk forskningsansats. Resultatet visar att förskollärares pedagogiska grundsyn, organisatoriska och miljömässiga faktorer påverkar innehållet i verksamheten och hur barn får stimulans i sin rörelseutveckling. De pedagogiska grundsyner som studien fördjupar sig i är förmedlingspedagogik och dialogpedagogik. Studien visar att förskollärare är medvetna om barns rörelsebehov för deras fortsatta rörelseutveckling, sociala och kognitiva lärande men att utevistelsen används på olika sätt beroende på den rådande pedagogiska grundsynen samt organisatoriska och miljömässiga faktorer.

Abstract The purpose of this ethnographic study is to describe and analyse professional and lay care in the Bena cultural context in the Tanzanian village of Ilembula. The study focuses on care as a cultural phenomenon. The structure of the study is based on M.M. Leininger's (1991) Culture Care Theory In the first phase of the study, care was described from a professional perspective. The data were collected by interviewing and observing trained nurses (n=6) in the wards of Ilembula Lutheran Hospital. The study material was complemented with the data obtained from informants' diaries and institutional documents. The data were analysed by using qualitative ethnonursing analysis. In the second phase of the study, the focus was on lay care. The fieldwork was done in the Ilembula village and Ilembula Lutheran Hospital. The data were collected by interviewing villagers (n=49) and relatives (n=12) of patients admitted to Ilembula Lutheran Hospital, and by observing their care practices. The data were analysed by qualitative content analyses with regard to the cultural context. Curing and caring were the characteristics of professional care, as described by the nurse informants. Curing was linked to skills and knowledge obtained in nurse training and it was demonstrated through technical interventions, medication and health education. Caring referred to a natural mother-child relationship and reflected the traditional cultural knowledge. Caring was demonstrated in primary care, meaning a mother's responsibilities in taking care of a small baby, encouragement and comfort. The patient's recovery and maintenance of health were the goals of professional care. Respect and protection were the characteristics of lay care, reflecting the worldview and cultural values of the Bena. The aim of respect was to maintain family unity and to ensure wellbeing, while protection focused on the sensitive phases of the Bena life span. The main meaning of lay care for the informants was health maintenance and improvement of health. Health included physical, mental and reproductive aspects, and enabled them to respond to the culturally determined role expectations. The aim of this ethnographic study was to demonstrate that care is integral to much more comprehensive socio-cultural issues in the context of a Tanzanian village. The study demonstrates the meaning of cultural and social factors, such as cultural values and lifeways, kinship, economic, educational, and ethnohistory in both professional and lay care. The findings can be utilised in transcultural nursing education and in clinical nursing practice, especially in developing patient education from a transcultural perspective, not only in Tanzania, but internationally.

Resumo: Este trabalho estuda a presença da obra Peter Pan, de James Banie, nos textos infantis de Monteiro Lobato. Neste processo de apropriação e adaptação da personagem estrangeira, temos, num primeiro momento, a adaptação lobatiana (Peter Pan, 1930) em que a história de Peter Pan é contada por Dona Benta a seus netos. A personagem de James Banie aparece depois em outras histórias de Lobato, entre as quais se destacam Memórias da Emilia (1936) - obra na qual Peter Pan surge no Sítio como um visitante ¿ e o Pica pau Amarelo (1939) - obra em que Peter Pan resolve mudar-se para o Sítio, juntamente com outras personagens estrangeiras. Discutimos, assim, a presença de uma personagem da literatura infantil inglesa dentro da obra infantil de Monteiro Lobato, observando a maneira como o escritor trabalha com esta personagem em seus textos. Estabelecemos também um paralelo entre o trabalho feito por Lobato com esta obra específica e os planos do escritor para a criação de uma literatura infantil brasileira
Abstract:"This thesis is a study of the presence of Peter Pan, by James Barrie, in the texts for children by Monteiro Lobato. The process of appropriation and adaptation by Monteiro Lobato of James B arrie s' character consists, first, of an adaptation (Peter Pan, 1930), in which Dona Benta tells the story of the foreign character to her grandchildren. Second, there are other stories by Lobato in which James Barrie's character takes parto Examples are Memorias de Emilia (1936)and O Picapau Amarelo (1939). In the former, Peter Pan is a guest at Sitio do Picapau Amarelo, and in the latter, he decides to move to Sitio together with the other foreign characters. The thesis discusses the presence of a character that belongs to British literature in Lobato's work. The goal of this discussion is to show how the author operates the insertion of this character in his texts. A parallel is also drawn between Lobato's works for children and the writer's plans of creating Brazilian literature for children

São relatadas a síntese e a purificação eficientes dos corantes fluorescentes 2,5-bis(2'-benzoxazolil)hidroquinona e 2,5-bis(2'benzimidazol)hidroquinona nas quantidades necessárias para o trabalho com laser. Adicionalmente, são descritas modificações simples daqueles procedimentos de maneira a obter os compostos monoheterocíclico correspondentes ácido 4-(2'-benzoxazolil)- e 4-(2'-benzimidazolil)-2,5-dihidroxibenzóico. Reações de acetilação e/ou metilação na 2,5-bis(2'-benzoxazolil)hidroquinona renderam os respectivos derivados mono- e dissubstituídos que são importantes moléculas-modelo para estudos fotofísicos.
The synthesis and efficient purification of the fluorescent dyes 2,5-bis(2'-benzoxazolil)hydroquinone and 2,5-bis(2'benzimidazol)hydroquinone in the quantities needed for laser work, are reported. Additionally, simple modifications of theses procedures are described for obtaining the corresponding monoheterocyclic compounds 4-(2'-benzoxazolyl)- and 4-(2'-benzoxazolyl)-2.5-dihidroxybenzoic acids. Methylation and/or acetylation of 2,5-bis(2'-benzoxazolyl)hydroquinone yielded the respective mono- and disubstituted derivatives, which are important model molecules for the photophysical study of the parent dye.

Questo lavoro di tesi è stato sviluppato durante il periodo di tirocinio svolto presso l’azienda PEYRANI S.p.A.; l’obiettivo è quello di ottimizzare un sistema di scarico con gru a benna e tramoggia atto allo scarico di minerale su convogliatore a nastro, presso le banchine della Sporgente IV del porto di Taranto. La relazione di calcolo è stata condotta in accordo con “Federation Europeenne de la Manutention – Section 1 – Heavy lifting appliance – Rules for the design of hoisting appliance”, normativa che ha come oggetto la determinazione delle sollecitazioni semplici e composte di cui bisogna tener conto nella progettazione di apparecchi di sollevamento. Per lo studio, dopo aver realizzato il modello tridimensionale con CREO, è stato riprodotto il modello FEM della struttura complessiva con STRAUS7, analizzando così le diverse combinazioni delle sollecitazioni possibili previste dalla normativa; in seguito con ANSYS si sono valutati gli effetti locali (in termini di resistenza, deformazione e buckling) per ciascun componente del sistema in esame. Infine con i dati ricavati sono state effettuate le verifiche più rilevanti della nuova struttura in oggetto: si sono verificati i componenti (resistenza a fatica e instabilità a carico di punta), i collegamenti (bulloni, perni, saldature) e i gruppi di scorrimento, secondo le norme vigenti in merito.

Resumo: Este trabalho apresenta uma análise das potencialidades da obra Serões de Dona Benta, de Monteiro Lobato, para o Ensino de Ciências. A partir do mapeamento, identificação e análise dos conceitos científicos e da concepção de ciência presente no texto desse livro, explanou-se sobre o uso da literatura de Lobato como material para o Ensino de Ciências. Com o apoio das orientações metodológicas da Análise Textual Discursiva, a obra foi categorizada em temas que se referem a conceitos científicos e a concepções de ciências do autor. Foi possível identificar uma série de situações vividas pelos personagens da história que relatam temas científicos, uma série de conceitos de Física, Química, Biologia, Filosofia das Ciências e a grande maioria com potencial para o Ensino de Ciências. Apresenta-se também uma revisão sobre as principais concepções de ciências na literatura para que se relacione com as encontradas no livro e observa-se que há uma idéia bastante forte de ciência como observação e constatação dos fenômenos da natureza, que se relaciona com uma visão empirista de ciências
Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of the potential of the book Serões de Dona Benta of Monteiro Lobato, for Teaching Science. O período representativo da Primeira República (1889-1930) significou para o Brasil o esforço de construção de uma ideia de nação e de uma identidade nacional, até então bastante difusos para o brasileiro. Por meio dos livros, didáticos ou não, e por meio de uma cultura escolar nascente, estas ideias passaram a povoar o imaginário popular do estudante e do cidadão brasileiros, fixando símbolos e princípios para a sustentação de um território genuinamente nacional. Neste sentido, o propósito deste estudo concentrou-se em investigar a expressão do conteúdo relacionado à identidade nacional na formação geográfica do estudante de nível primário da escola do período republicano, associando os conhecimentos veiculados pelos livros didáticos utilizados à época aos conhecimentos geográficos expressados na Geografia de Dona Benta (1935) de Monteiro Lobato. Buscando responder às questões que perguntam: “quais são as concepções de conhecimento geográfico expressadas na obra em questão?” e “quais as contribuições da obra para a construção das representações do espaço geográfico e para a produção da identidade nacional no período da Primeira República no Brasil?” desenvolvemos uma análise dos indícios textuais e gráficos trazidos por Lobato na construção da sua Geografia. Partindo do pressuposto de que a experiência funda novas perspectivas, entendemos que a Geografia proposta por Lobato cria novas espacialidades a partir da experiência vivida do espaço pelo leitor, por meio de uma literatura que resgata um poder de criação e de imaginação próprios da língua, subvertendo os padrões da escrita e dos usos da palavra em uma época de intensas e significativas transformações na vida cultural do Brasil. The representative period of the First Republic (1889-1930) meant to Brazil the effort to build a sense of nation and national identity, hitherto quite diffuse for the brazilian. Through books, textbooks or not, and by means of a spring school culture, these ideas began to populate the popular imagination of students and brazilian citizen, setting symbols and principles for support of a genuinely national territory. In this sense, the purpose of this study focused on investigating the expression of content related to national identity in shaping the geographical student primary school Republican period, combining the knowledge conveyed by textbooks used at the time to the geographical knowledge expressed in Geografia de Dona Benta (1935) by Monteiro Lobato. Seeking to answer the questions they ask: what are the conceptions of geographical knowledge expressed in the work in question? and what are the contributions of the work for the construction of representations of geographic space and the production of national identity in the period of the First Republic in Brazil? develop an analysis of textual and graphic evidence brought by Lobato in the construction of its geography. Assuming that the fundamental experience new perspectives, understand that geography proposed by Lobato creates new spatialities from the experience of space by the reader, through a literature that rescues a power of creation and imagination own language, subverting standards of writing and uses of the word in a time of intense and significant transformations in the cultural life of Brazil. This thesis explores regionalism as a fictional genre and Willa Cather's experimentations and innovations in her 1918 novel My Ántonia. In it I argue that Cather employs what I will be calling reciprocal regionalism, which expands upon the regionalist relationship between the land and the characters in the story. In My Ántonia and later novels of Cather's, reciprocal regionalism functions in how characters survive, prosper, or perish in the region; the relationship needs to be fluid and adaptable. Using regionalist criticism and close textual analysis of Willa Cather's novels, essays, and letters, I argue that Cather believes in an inherent essentialist relationship between the artist and the muse, the character, and the region. When the relationship falters and fails, the art and the character dies. Furthermore, Cather's commissioning of illustrations for the novel by W.T. Benda illustrate that the relationship between material and personal experience is foremost in truthful representation. This thesis aims to fill a gap in Cather criticism that has so far neglected in studying Cather's fourth novel My Ántonia as a regionalist text, while also exploring how Cather served as an intermediary and experimenter in a rather traditional female written form by questioning its place in the literary canon and revising it as a modernist author.

The goal of this Master's thesis is to explore economic development of BENEA s.r.o. through tools of strategic and financial analysis during the period 2009 -- 2013, as much affected the financial health of the company, to find strong and weak sides of this company and to create the recommendation for the management of the company to improve the functioning. Theoretical part of the thesis contains description of chosen methods and tools of economic analysis. Selected methods are PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and lost statement, analysis of differential indicators, financial ratios, ROE logarithmical decomposition and bankruptcy models. In the practical part there are applied methods of economic analysis during the selected period and described intercompany comparison. The Conclusion and recommendation for the future are set at the end of thesis.

The objective of this research is to understand the context of the intercultural approach proposed by the National Intercultural University of the Peruvian Amazon- UNIA. For this purpose, the research was developed as a unique case study, from the visit to the UNIA in 2017 and using different sources of information. In the theoretical construction, decolonial stance and interculturality in education are used; from the Inca memory, Bilingual Intercultural Education (BIE) and Indigenous Higher Education in the Peruvian Amazon. Equally, the coexistence of diversity, under the shadow of miscegenation and racism in Peru, and the current opening of higher intercultural education in the Peruvian Amazon considered in Law 30220 and 154. The UNIA is a space that has 15 ethnic groups of Amazonian peoples, added to Quechua, Aymara and Mestizos; coast, mountains and jungle, point of intercultural convergence that represents a symbol of resistance, that even in the divergence and cultural shock, exists, in a racial, modern and colonial order. The expectation of admission to the UNIA of indigenous youth is very high and the valuation for professional training, translated into improvement, quality of life, bringing knowledge and development to the communities, extrapolated to cultural survival. The intercultural approach of UNIA reflects a marked duality from the perception and practice of interculturality; on the one hand, the UNIA was proposed and managed by the Amazonian peoples in view of the need for higher-professional education, linked to the continuity of BIE, inclusion, rights, differential treatment, cultural preservation, ethnolinguistic diffusion and sustainable development of the Amazon. Besides that, there is the construct of interculturality as the meeting of several cultures in the same space. At the student level, interculturality is assumed in this same duality, by indigenous people and mestizos. The ambiguity in the approach is reflected in the curricular focus in the humanities and in engineering studies. The current commission of UNIA, administrative and professors, are working to obtain the licensing; adapt physical facilities, interculturalize the curriculum and promote intercultural actions that benefit the cultural and sustainable development of the peoples and Amazonian region, responding to the requirements of the University Law 154 of guidelines for the implementation of the intercultural approach in Intercultural Universities, and 30220 of assurance of university education. From the practical point of view of the research, a partnership was established between UNILA-UNIA in July 2018, and the collaboration in the Regulation of "Extraordinary Professors" (inclusion of indigenous wise representatives as teachers in the UNIA), with the Office of Amazonian Intercultural Coordination OCIA, UNIA, in 2017, approved by Resolution 533-2018
El objetivo de esta investigación es comprender el contexto que encierra el enfoque intercultural propuesto por la Universidad Nacional Intercultural de la Amazonía Peruana- UNIA. Para este fin, la investigación fue desarrollada como estudio de caso único, a partir de la visita a la UNIA en 2017 y usando diferentes fuentes de información. En la construcción teórica, se recurre a la postura decolonial y la interculturalidad en la educación; a partir de la memoria Inca, la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (EIB) y Superior Universitaria Indígena en la Amazonía Peruana. Igualmente, la coexistencia de la diversidad, bajo la sombra del mestizaje y racismo en el Perú, y la actual apertura de la educación superior Intercultural en la Amazonía Peruana considerada en la Ley 30220 y 154. La UNIA es un espacio que cuenta con aproximadamente 15 etnias de pueblos amazónicos, sumado a Quechua, Aymara y Mestizos; costa, sierra y selva, punto de convergencia intercultural que representa un símbolo de resistencia, que aún en la divergencia y choque cultural, existe, en un orden racial, moderno y colonial. La expectativa de ingreso a la UNIA de los jóvenes indígenas, es muy alta y la valoración por la formación profesional, traducida en mejora, calidad de vida, llevar conocimiento y desarrollo a las comunidades, extrapolado a la supervivencia cultural. El enfoque intercultural de UNIA, refleja una marcada dualidad desde la percepción y práctica de la interculturalidad; por un lado, la UNIA fue propuesta y gestionada por los pueblos amazónicos ante la necesidad de educación profesional universitaria, ligada a la continuidad de EIB, inclusión, derechos, trato diferencial, preservación cultural, difusión etnolingüística y desarrollo sostenible de la amazonia. Por otra parte, existe el constructo de interculturalidad como el encuentro de varias culturas en un mismo espacio. A nivel de estudiantes, la interculturalidad es asumida en esta misma dualidad, por indígenas y mestizos. La ambigüedad en el enfoque, se ve reflejada en el enfoque curricular en humanidades y en ingenierías..La actual comisión de UNIA, administrativos y profesores, están trabajando para obtener el licenciamiento; adecuar instalaciones físicas, interculturalizar el currículo y promover acciones interculturales que beneficien el desarrollo cultural y sostenible de los pueblos y región amazónica, respondiendo a las exigencias de la Ley universitaria 154 de lineamientos para la implementación del enfoque intercultural en Universidades Interculturales, y 30220 de aseguramiento de la educación universitaria. Desde el punto de vista práctico de la investigación, se estableció un convenio entre UNILA-UNIA en Julio de 2018, y la colaboración en el Reglamento de “Profesores Extraordinarios”, inclusión de sabios(as) indígenas como profesores en la UNIA), con la Oficina de Coordinación Intercultural Amazónica OCIA, UNIA, en 2017, aprobada por Resolución 533-2018.
