Estudou-se a aplicabilidade de um padrão cefalométrico norte-americano em pacientes brasileiros submetidos à cirurgia ortognática, por meio da comparação dos traçados cefalométricos pós-tratamento ortodôntico-cirúrgico de 29 pacientes (14 homens e 15 mulheres), que passaram por cirurgia de maxila e mandíbula, com ou sem mentoplastia, com o padrão cefalométrico utilizado como orientação para o planejamento dos casos.
