SVT often presents as fussiness in infants as well as other symptoms concerning for congenital heart failure, sepsis, gastrointestinal obstruction, or physical conditions such as hair tourniquets. It also reviews recognition of tachycardia with associated electrocardiogram waveform abnormalities (narrow QRS complex, absent P waves) consistent with SVT.
