Prako Weir in East Lombok Regency has limited water availability, which affects its ability to serve the provision of irrigation water. Failure to meet irrigation water needs is increasingly felt, so adaptation steps are needed to reduce more significant losses at the farmer level. This study aims to evaluate the current cropping pattern and obtain alternative cropping patterns that are more appropriate according to water availability in Prako Weir to minimize the potential for farmer crop failure. The extent of land use is also influenced by technological changes over a period of time. The technological changes in agriculture ignited intensive cultivation resulting in conversion of marginal lands into productive agricultural lands through capital intensive cultivation. Abstract To construct economic growth and poverty reduction, farmer-led irrigation is increasing nowadays in many African, South Asian, and Latin American countries. Smallholder farmers’ vulnerability to climate shocks due to rainfall variability, frequent droughts, and inadequate water resources, which threaten agricultural productivity and food security is known. Understanding the current and future crop water demand is key for improving agricultural productivity, and bringing food security, especially in arid and semi-arid areas where irrigation is needed to overwhelm shortage and rainfall

The system aims to empower farmers by providing insights into the diverse range of crops suitable for their specific land. The work focuses on developing a system that predicts the optimal crop priority, considering various factors such as land characteristics, soil conditions, and climate data. By understanding the intricate relationships between different crop types, farmers can make informed decisions to maximize yield quality. The absence of a robust system for identifying cropping patterns results in random crop choices, leading to yield fluctuations. This prioritization minimizes losses

The traditional crop farmers rely heavily on rain pattern to decide the time for planting crops. The emerging climate change has caused a shift in the rain pattern and consequently affected the crop yield. Therefore, providing a good rainfall prediction models would enable us to recommend best planting pattern (when to plant) in order to give maximum yield.
