Bakgrund: För företag är logistikverksamheten ett område som är av stor betydelse för lönsamheten. Lönsamheten förbättras genom att öka antingen vinstmarginalen eller kapitalomsättningshastigheten, där det senare kan erhållas genom att minska lager-nivåerna.
