Trichopria drosophilae is a globally distributed pupal parasitoid that targets various species within the Drosophilidae family, including the invasive Drosophila suzukii. The mass rearing of T. drosophilae is a crucial step in ensuring their successful application for field D. suzukii control. The pupae of Drosophila melanogaster are currently used as a host for the mass rearing of T. drosophilae. After irradiation, the immune system function of Drosophila pupae was weakened, leading to an increase in the parasitism efficiency of the T. drosophilae. Our results showed that irradiated pupae had

The distribution of the β-tubulin loci was found to be similar in D. montium species and D. melanogaster.Key words: genomic clones, β-tubul

Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.14 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,973 protein coding genes.

Different natural conditions make it possible to find diverse Drosophila populations, although several types of Drosophila are cosmopolitan. Drosophila diversity is characterized by morphological variations. The structural similarity of an individual can be used to determine various kinship relations between organisms. However, the isoforms and functional specifications of Babo in non-Drosophilid insects have not been established.
