The indiscriminate use of antibiotics by individuals as well as in food production has been tagged one of the major reasons for the spread of antibiotic resistance in pathogens. The isolates were further tested for presence of genes that encodes for aminoglycosides, tetracyclines, glycopeptides, penicillins, and betalactamases.
