Epidermoid cysts are benign lesions most commonly found in the skin but which can arise in many other locations including, very rarely the salivary glands. This rarity often leaves them off standard differential lists and can create a diagnostic dilemma. A patient with an incidentally detected parotid mass on MRI underwent core biopsy, which was unfortunately complicated by formation of a pseudoaneurysm and persistent arterial bleeding requiring coil embolisation. The histology showed only keratinous material and, in retrospect, the signal characteristics of the mass were entirely typical of a

Posttraumatic siaolcele has two main line of management: one that preserves the gland function and other that depresses the gland function. Methods: a case report of a posttraumatic sialocele managed by conservative measure including sterile aspiration and bandage. Ultrasonography, Computed Tomography and sialography were the main investigations that aided the diagnosis. The case was followed up for 6 months Results: aspiration of the fluid contents revealed

The goal of this study was to determine whether high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) microscopy coil imaging can improve the depiction parotid masses. A total of 14 parotid masses, including 7 salivary neoplasms, 2 abnormal lymph nodes, and 5 benign cystic lesions were imaged with T2-weighted and fat-suppressed postcontrast T1-weighted sequences using a 47-mm diameter microscopy coil in addition to conventional MRI sequences acquired with a conventional head and neck neurovascular coil. Compared to conventional parotid MRI sequences, microscopy coil images provided better definitio
