To achieve that objective, primary data were collected from 193 farm households through a direct interview method from Mymensingh and Dinajpur districts. This article examines the economic efficiency of land reclamation measures for desalinating saline land, using the example of a hypothetical farm in the Syrdarya province of Uzbekistan. The evaluation method employed is the calculation of discounted costs. The balance of humus in soils on the farm territory was calculated for a slope steepness of 20-40 without the use of organic fertilizers. The balance of humus and nutrients is negative. The greatest losses of humus occur under pure fallow and row crops, more due to mineralization than as a result of erosion. The farm territory is not stable in terms of humus balance and supply of nutrients. Zonal lands are the most stable.

The waves of dynamics for 1970-2020 are revealed. by categories of land cadastre in the Volzhsky region of the RME. The first two terms out of eight forms Weibull's law, showing a decrease of 3292 hectares in the area according to Mandelbrot's law. Since 1970, the decline has been 3.60%.
